Happy Friday C&C! Today’s roundup includes more detail from the Epoch Times on its investigation into excess U.S. deaths; the CDC finally admits natural infection is better but still thinks you need to get jabbed; a doctor sues Houston Methodist Hospital for its Covid financials; Narrative 2.0 news, and more.
🗞 *THE C&C ARMY POST* 🗞
☃️ I’m headed to DC tomorrow morning with Michelle in tow. Some good news: American offered us a first-class upgrade for only $100! Not, it turns out, because of their profound respect for me, which of course was my first thought, but more likely just because the flight is only half full. I guess the DC injection mandates aren’t super popular with tourists, or something. Or maybe it’s the 30-degree weather. I ordered a battery-powered heated vest and socks, to be delivered today. Hopefully that will keep me from becoming a legal popsicle.
Anyway, the speaker lineup for the Rally looks amazing. When the livestream link is available, I’ll send it out to ya’ll.
🗞*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞
🔥 The Epoch Times, God bless them, is continuing to write about the excess deaths problem. In a nutshell, the Epoch Times discovered last month that there were nearly double the number of deaths in 2021 than expected, even after accounting for Covid reported deaths. This week, the Times reported that their inquires to the CDC and the White House about the excess deaths were immediately and satisfactorily answered. Haha! Just kidding. The White House and the CDC ignored the Times’ questions. I’m imagining your shocked face.
Well, the Times continues to gather data, and they have ranked the top five states with the most excess deaths:
Nevada (up 65%, of which only 36% were labeled as Covid)
Texas (up 61%, 58% of them labeled Covid)
Arizona (up 57%, 37% labeled Covid)
Tennessee (up 57%, 37% labeled Covid)
California (up 55%, 42% labeled Covid)
That’s a lot of dead Americans.
The three lowest states were:
New Hampshire — no increase
Massachusetts increased 13% (24% of that labeled Covid)
New York was up 29% (30% labeled Covid)
The uneven distribution of unexpected excess deaths is, shall we say, highly suggestive of a non-natural cause.
The CDC hasn’t published its 2021 mortality data yet. So we don’t know the detailed breakdown of causes of death. But I know who does know. The CDC knows. And if the CDC knows, the White House knows. Texas, Florida, and Nevada have each said that they’re now investigating the surging deaths. I bet the White House can’t wait. Meanwhile, in Arizona and Tennessee — two of the states with the highest increases — officials are running behind, and said they don’t have all their data collected yet, so they can’t comment. Uh huh.
🔥 I bet you never thought THIS was going to happen. A Reuters story this week is headlined, “Prior Covid infection more protective than vaccination during Delta surge -U.S. study.” The story attributes California and New York health officials (!) admitting that “natural immunity was a more potent shield than vaccines” against Delta. According to the study, people who’ve survived an infection had lower Covid rates than people who were vaccinated but are Covid naive.
But don’t get too excited. The story says infection PLUS injection is still the very best protection, and quotes the CDC: “The evidence in this report does not change our vaccination recommendations,” said Dr. Ben Silk of the CDC. “We know that vaccination is still the safest way to protect yourself against COVID-19,” he said. Okay.
I guess the point is, it’s a GOOD THING injected folks caught Omicron anyway! Because now they have the “best” protection. The gold standard, if you will. See, there’s no reason to have buyer’s remorse or get mad that you got sick anyway or anything. It’s like you won a giant stuffed bear at the carnival or something! Stuffed with needles.
🔥 On Tuesday, W.H.O.’s chief scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan — say THAT three times fast — said “there is no evidence right now that healthy children or healthy adolescents need boosters. No evidence at all.”
So. Frankly, I’d like to see the evidence that healthy children even need the injection in the first place. Does THAT evidence exist someplace?
🪳 Pint-sized bioweapons engineer Fauci admitted a rare weakness in the vaccine paradigm this week, telling Axios that “One of the problems with making the primary vaccination against the latest variant is that you might not get as broad of a response as against the ancestral strain.” In other words, he’s saying that when Pfizer cooks up a new batch of mRNA vaccines targeting Omicron, it might not work against Delta or Alpha very well, or even at all.
And look at this conclusion from a recent article in Axios crying about the lack of effective vaccines for Omicron:
> “Although the original Operation Warp Speed focused largely on vaccines, experts say that if we do it again, there needs to be just as much, if not more, investment in therapeutics — especially given the reality of stubbornly low vaccination rates in the U.S.”
How about that? A shift in focus to THERAPEUTICS. Although I have no idea what they’re talking about stubbornly low vaccination rates. What do they think an acceptable rate is? Please.
🔥 A doctor who got fired (privileges permanently suspended) has now sued Houston Methodist Hospital, which is now infamous for providing the support for the original DOJ memo concluding that employer injection mandates are legal. ENT specialist Dr. Mary Bowden was suspended in November for “spreading dangerous misinformation,” because she promoted ivermectin and criticized injection mandates.
Well, it turns out Texas state law requires non-profit, tax-exempt corporations to provide certain information to the public. So Bowden requested Houston Methodist’s financials, but the hospital refused to comply, so Bowden has now filed suit.
According to the lawsuit filed Monday, the plaintiffs are requesting financial documents detailing all revenue generated at the hospital through the Covid vaccination program, including details about reimbursements or payments from government, insurance companies, and patients. They are also requesting information about any financial arrangements with pharmaceutical companies for Covid treatments. Bowden said the public should know whether Houston Methodist has benefited financially for prescribing Remdesivir.
Bowden’s attorney Steve Mitby told The Texan he expects to succeed in the courts. “I expect we will get these records. It’s state law.” For its part, Houston Methodist declined to comment on the lawsuit.
The Texas law seems like a pretty good idea. We might need something like that here in Florida. I’m looking at you, Mayo Clinic. We’re going to find out about the money, sooner or later. So.
Dr. Bowden also said she’d be attending this weekend’s rally in DC. I’ll keep an eye out for her.
🔥 A raft of articles this week in Corporate Media criticized Justice Neil Gorsuch, who apparently refuses to mask up on the bench. If you can believe that. According to media, even though she’s triple jabbed, Karen, I mean Justice Sotomayor, requested that all the other justices wear masks because she has diabetes. All the justices except Gorsuch agreed. He won’t do it. He won’t put that filthy germ rag on his face. Unfortunately, Gorsuch’s seat is right next to Sotomayor. So, reports say Sotomayor has refused to take the bench, opting instead to appear in Supreme Court proceedings by phone.
I guess nobody wants to switch seats with Gorsuch, despite the opportunity to sit next to Justice Sotomayor. For some reason.
🔥 Florida’ s pot-friendly Agriculture Commissioner (https://tinyurl.com/mtx9233v) and unlikely gubernatorial challenger Nikki Fried said this week that Governor DeSantis is JUST LIKE maniacal dictator Adolph Hitler. She told WJCT that “instead of listening and trying to govern with the people, [DeSantis] is trying to govern over the people, and, you know, I’m sorry, I’m a student of history, too. I saw the rise of Hitler.”
The reporter, who was probably prepared for a lot of nonsense but not THAT, interrupted her, asking whether she was ACTUALLY comparing Governor DeSantis to Hitler.
“In a lot of ways, yes,” Fried rambled on. “I have studied Hitler and how he got to power, you know, wanting his own militia.”
Just like Hitler! Now, you might be able to convince me that Ms. Fried has studied efficacy rates of various pot strains, techniques for re-recycling partially burned leaves, and safe disposal of used bong water. But history? I doubt it. As Magic Eight Ball likes to say, “all signs point to no.”
🔥 The Narrative 2.0 buzzsaw continues to tear through Covid mandates and lockdown laws. This time it’s France. In the same week as Biden’s proto-State of the Union, French Prime Minister Jean Castex announced Thursday that the government will lift most of its Covid restrictions by next month at the latest. “We are unquestionably in a new phase of the epidemic,” said the prime minister, optimistically.
That was fast!
Actually, France has had an average of 320,000 daily Covid cases over the past week, an ever-rising number, but hey, who’s counting. It’s a “new phase.” What do you want me to say?
The snooty country intends to keep its injection passport and indoor mask mandates. It has been heavily locked down; LOTS of restrictions — like occupancy limits — will now be lifted.
🔥 In an under-reported story, last week Gavin Newsom announced that California is now “preparing for an endemic strategy.” He called the current Omicron surge in that state, “the last big surge” of the pandemic. So hopeful! So optimistic!
His cheerful prediction comes just one day after the state hit an all-time high, with 143,380 new cases and a record 23% positivity rate. Deadline News quipped, “Despite the grim data, Newsom made a second sunny forecast.”
But the Governor isn’t quite ready to explain to reporters what the new endemic phase will look like. “We’ll be making public those detailed strategies in the next few weeks,” he promised. I wonder when he found out about the new narrative? Obviously not long enough ago to have come up with the new plan yet. Oh well. Can’t wait to hear it.
Have a fabulous Friday! Due to the DC Rally trip, I’ll probably be off for the next three days — but don’t worry, I’m not in jail! Just traveling. However, I WILL try to do some FaceTime live events if circumstances permit. No promises, but I’ll try. Otherwise, I’ll see you Tuesday morning for re-caffeination.

"You wear a mask because I have diabetes"
Wow. That's the whole narrative in a nutshell.
DeSantis and Hitler? For the love of all things Holy. This is what happens when you dunk too many Oreo's in Nyquil and snort poppy seeds on the weekend. Safe travels to the fetid DC pit, my friend.
