Good morning and Happy Monday, C&C family! I hope everyone had a terrific weekend. 🗞*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞

🔥 You have to admit, the Republicans are making the most of their minority powers. The Epoch Times reported over the weekend that Senate Republicans just introduced a new bill to help people WITH ADVERSE REACTIONS FROM COVID-19 VACCINES.

Hahaha! The new bill puts the Democrats in a stiff spot. They can’t vote FOR the bill, because that would be admitting the jabs hurt people. And voting against the bill is terrible optics, because it is so uncompassionate toward regular everyday people injured trying to help the government achieve its delusional Covid-zero plan.

Republicans are handling the issue well. Sponsoring senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) explained “The federal government has encouraged all Americans to receive the COVID-19 vaccines. While these vaccines have been miraculous and have helped save innumerable lives, there are always some who experience adverse reactions.”

Senator Lee continued, “unfortunately, the thousands of patients who have sought relief for adverse effects of the COVID-19 vaccines have not received compensation under the existing framework. My Countermeasure Injury Compensation Amendment Act will help build trust in future medical treatments and to make sure those who were harmed are properly compensated.”

Americans have filed 7,547 claims for jab injuries under the existing law, but as of March 1, only thirty (30) claims have been paid, totaling about $6 million, or $200,000 per claim, including deaths. The reason so few claims have been approved is that it is crazy difficult to win a claim under existing law.

“At this point, the government has totally abandoned us,” said Cody Flint, an agricultural pilot who suspects he was seriously injured by the jab. “The PREP Act stated that vaccine injuries were given an outlet to go seek compensation and financial help in the name of [the current compensation fund]. It’s an absolute joke. We are totally left in the dark.”

Among other things, Lee’s bill would setup a commission to say which injuries are directly caused as a result of Covid-19 countermeasures, which includes the vaccines, remdesivir, the ventilator, and so forth. It would also require the secretary of HHS to add all injuries determined by the commission to the “covered countermeasure injury table” for Covid-19.

🔥 Pfizer isn’t giving up on the jabs. Its CEO, Albert Bourla, for whom English is clearly not his first language, admitted that the company’s product is really pretty lame through the third booster: “It’s not that good against infections but doesn’t last very long,” Bourla admitted in a CNBC interview over the weekend.

The solution? More jabs! “Right now, the way that we have seen, it is necessary, a fourth booster right now,” Bourla insisted. “It’s clear that there is a need in an environment of omicron to boost the immune response.”

Necessary? Really? That seems like a tough sell just now. Thanks for trying though.

And don’t worry, Pfizer is cooking up an even BETTER jab than the awesome but not that good jab they already jabbed into everybody: “We are working very diligently right now to make not only a vaccine that will protect against all variants, including omicron, but also something that can protect for at least a year,” Bourla promised.

But go ahead and take the fourth booster that is not that good against infections anyway. THIS TIME it will work. You’re going to love it.

Not me, thanks, I’m taking a pass. More for everybody else.

🔥 9News Sydney tweeted a video story this weekend with the tag line, “Heart attacks can happen to healthy, younger Australians who have none of the usual risk factors for disease.” Wow, and here I used to think heart attacks were for out-of-shape old people who eat too much red meat and don’t exercise enough. Crazy. 9News said it was a MYSTERY why so many younger Australians without any risk factors are victims of heart attacks. They strike without warning now. Could happen to anybody. So. Weird.

Maybe it’s something genetic, who knows? There’s really just no way to tell.

🔥 The Epoch Times ran a story Friday headlined, “Children in China Diagnosed With Leukemia After Taking Chinese Vaccines.” That’s not good for business.

The Times describes a Chinese social media group with hundreds of members reporting cases of leukemia developed after taking Chinese vaccines. Eight of them confirmed the diagnosis when reached by The Epoch Times. That may or may not seem like a lot, but you have to consider the censorship regime in China and the social pressure not to complain about the government or say anything that would make it look bad. So that’s really a lot of upset Chinese parents.

The article also described the high cost of leukemia treatments, which is paid by Chinese parents. It surprised me since, educated by U.S. media, I’d always thought China had an awesome free healthcare system. Apparently not.

😷 Georgetown University is finally dropping its mask mandate. In a memo to the study body, GU was clear that nobody — not ANYBODY — should be forced to wear a mask:

Please respect the decisions and privacy of fellow community members by not asking why someone is wearing a mask. Please help all members of our community feel welcome and sage, and consider putting on a mask when interacting with someone who is wearing a mask. Do not pressure someone to put on or take off a mask.

So, NOW the university thinks you shouldn’t pressure someone to put on a mask. Where was all this respect for private decisions ten minutes ago, when it might have been useful?

🏈 Tom Brady shocked the world over the weekend by announcing — just one month after announcing his retirement — that he would not retire after all but will come back and play for the Bucs again. Effective immediately.

🚀 *THE MINORITY REPORT* 🚀

🔥 On Face the Nation yesterday, CBS’ David Martin explained that he’d just spoken to a top Pentagon official about Ukrainian biolabs. You know, the biolabs that the fact checkers swore DO NOT EXIST. Martin first reported the official said there were no chemical weapons moving into Ukraine. So that’s good.

But the official said the REAL concern is the Russians might capture a Ukrainian “biomedical research facility” researching deadly bugs like ANTHRAX and BOTULISM, weaponize the pathogens, attack somebody, then blame the attack on the U.S., since the U.S. has been supporting the bio-research in those facilities. Then Martin said don’t worry, Ukraine has already destroyed most of the deadliest bugs they were messing around with. And they’ve shredded the files. So.

Martin reported all of this with a straight face, like, what’s the big deal? Happens all the time.

The truth is the fact checkers lied, big time. The “science” didn’t “evolve.” It was a simple fact: whether there were, or were not, U.S.-supported biolabs researching weaponizable pathogens in the Ukraine that the Russians knew about. Our fact checkers assured us, promised, there was NO WAY. Then, just when the Russians started closing in on the labs, all of a sudden it’s like “well OF COURSE we’ve been helping research ANTHRAX in Ukraine because science. And safety!”

So, they want us to believe that the U.S. government is helping a non-ally bordering one of our major geo-political enemies tinker with weaponizable pathogens like anthrax in multiple secret facilities — to innocently advance medical science and help poor people? Please.

Think about it. We’ve been DELIBERATELY loading dangerous pathogens into advanced labs that could weaponize them into POLITICALLY UNSTABLE COUNTRIES like Ukraine? A country that JUST had a massive color revolution in 2014? How does that make sense? And somehow the Pentagon seems to know in real time whatever the Ukrainians are doing in those labs, like destroying the evidence, I mean the pathogens?

I mean, come ON. I’d rather we’d just been building nuclear silos there. It’d be reckless and idiotic, but not as reckless and idiotic as these labs. The problem with all these bioweapons is they can boomerang right back on you — and the entire world, cough, COVID, cough. We’re talking Book of the Revelation stuff. These idiots are going to get us all killed, in very nasty ways.

Can I ask a stupid question? I negotiate conflicts all the time, admittedly not usually involving tanks and bombs and stuff. But why don’t we just offer Russia a simple four-part deal:

1) The U.S. apologizes for recklessly putting dangerous pathogens on Russia’s border, immediately shuts down the labs, and agrees to never build any new ones.

2) NATO issues a permanent resolution providing that Ukraine will never ever be admitted into NATO.

3) Ukraine outlaws the Nazis.

4) Russia agrees to immediately withdraw from Ukraine. Ukraine uses the $14B aid package the US just voted for to rebuild its damaged infrastructure.

Could it be that simple? What am I missing?

🔥 During the DNC’s general session last Friday, bimbo-like vice-whatever Kamala Harris announced at the podium, “I will say over and over again, the United States stands firmly with the Ukrainian people in defense of the NATO alliance.”

Um.

First of all, Harris’ incorrect and ill-considered “announcement” must have massively triggered Mr. Putin and the entire Russian military, since their biggest complaint is NATO expansionism into Ukraine. Ukraine is not currently in NATO, that’s the WHOLE POINT. Harris implying Ukraine IS in NATO is the Russians’ worst fear. Are we TRYING to inflame the conflict?

You’re killing me, Smalls.

Second, it’s getting harder and harder to decide between Biden and Harris. Which of them is more destructive when speaking off-teleprompter?

I wonder if the Ukrainian people really want THIS kind of help?
