Good morning, C&C gang! Here’s your special bonus edition for this fine Sunday morning December; grab a hot beverage of your choice, I mean COFFEE, and let’s take a gander at the big picture today. We’re doing something different today. It’s the “C&C State of the Union,” delivered early this year, because things are so very interesting just now.

On the one hand, who am I to describe the global status of Covid as its second nefarious year winds up? I’m not a doctor, or a scientist. I’m just a lawyer, as the punters in the comments keep reminding everybody. Why should anybody listen to me?

Ha ha! Only because the official government agencies that we totally depend on are useless as a cup of decaf; shifting their stories as often as Publix refills the toilet paper aisle during an early pandemic. So, who else is going to do it? I might be “just a lawyer,” but I’m a hardworking lawyer who’s studied the Covid news every single day for two years straight.

So let’s get started!

🎓 *GRADING BIDEN, 2021* 🎓

First of all, the Former Vice President, Joe Biden, gets an “F-minus” for running the country this year. Not even a participation trophy, this time. Biden promised he would “shut down the virus,” but using the most important metric there is, the CDC counted up more Americans dead from Covid in 2021 than in 2020. Virus = not shut down. F-minus. And now we have Omicron, which is super … well, something that rhymes with “full-spit.”
