🔥 Florida Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL), who was wearing a suit, was asked yesterday if he had any words for Ukraine’s former comedian Zelensky, who is visiting Congress this week on a fundraising tour, wearing a green sweater.

“There’s no money in the House right now for Ukraine,” Donalds said flatly.

✈️ Yesterday’s missing F35 story continued developing — and fortunately — seems to have ruled out the worst case ‘defection’ scenario. But we are far from having all the answers. ABC ran the story yesterday afternoon headlined, “New details in F-35 'mishap' as mystery remains about how jet was lost.”

The sub-headline — with a slightly doubtful tone — added dubiously, “The overall recovery process has begun, an official told ABC News.”

An anonymous Marine Corps official — ABC didn’t explain why his identity was withheld — said only that the recovery process was “ongoing.” ABC noted, “The official would not specify what point in the recovery and investigation process the Marine Corps is in.” Nor did the official say what caused the pilot to eject, or what brought down the F-35.

What he did say was the mysterious pilot enigmatically ejected at about 1,000 feet "and one mile north of the Charleston International Airport,” parachuting to safety in someone’s backyard. The faceless pilot who ditched the $100M stealth fighter was discharged from an undesignated hospital on Monday afternoon without any serious injuries.

Nancy Mace, the feisty Republican Representative for South Carolina, where the crash occurred, was vexed. “It's very frustrating to not have any answers," she told reporters annoyedly. Mace accused the Marines of not being transparent.  "Not to be able to provide answers to the community, you know, when mistakes happen -- we should be able to take responsibility for it and communicate and be transparent with the public."

ABC quoted one of its regular news contributors, retired Colonel Steve Ganyard, who was shocked that the military could somehow “lose” the plane for 28 hours. "Even though it's a stealth aircraft, losing a stealth aircraft is hard to understand. ... It does seem ridiculous that an aircraft this expensive, this sophisticated, it could just vanish," he said.

Yes. It does seem ridiculous. Ridiculous and indescribably shameful.

You might also muse about how it’s odd to lose any kind of aircraft only one mile from the airport.  Plus, the plane basically continued on the same line after the pilot ejected:

Did they even try flying the flight path in a helicopter? It was only 80 miles away right along the flight path. It should have taken them only half an hour to find it.

To be clear, we don’t have any idea what caused the crash or why it took the military 28 hours to find the crash site. Yesterday I speculated about nefarious Chinese hackers, and some skeptical commenters thought the theory premature. But I wasn’t the only one wondering about that theory. The UK Daily Mail ran this story:

It wouldn’t be the first time the military got hacked this year. Remember Jack Texiera? The young part-time Texas national guard member and video game aficionado who supposedly hacked all our intelligence agencies and downloaded embarrassing Ukraine intel that showed Biden had been lying for a year?

Like a lost F35 fighter jet, Texiera completely vanished off the news radar in May. But I digress.

According to the Mail’s article, a four-year-old GAO report warned the $80 million F35’s systems “provided a back door for hackers.” POGO, a military watchdog agency, also released a report in 2019 showing that nearly every software-enabled weapon system they tested between 2012 and 2017 can be hacked - including the F-35.

The agency wrote:

“Despite years of patches and upgrades, the F-35's most combat-crucial computer systems continue to malfunction, including the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) maintenance and parts ordering network; and the data links that display, combine, and exchange target and threat information among fighters and intelligence sources. As in previous years, cybersecurity testing shows that many previously confirmed F-35 vulnerabilities have not been fixed, meaning that enemy hackers could potentially shut down the ALIS network, steal secret data from the network and onboard computers, and perhaps prevent the F-35 from flying or from accomplishing its missions.”

As if that weren’t enough, also in 2019 the Pentagon itself confirmed the F35B — the same plane that just crashed in Charleston — has already been hacked by the Chinese.

As I understand it, somebody with a Chinese accent called the Pentagon saying they needed the F35 login password to update the antivirus software.

Anyway. To be clear, I’m not claiming the Chinese hacked the downed F35. How would I know? But yesterday I badly underestimated the amount of software in that plane, relying on an older estimate. Current numbers put it around 8 million lines of code — just inside the airplane. The programs on the ground are even bigger.

It might be too early to call the F35 a “flying disaster of epic proportions,” but my money is on some kind of software problem, whether or not it was a Chinese hacker’s backdoor.

💉 Temple University’s Acting President JoAnne Epps, 72, died suddenly and unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon on stage after a brief illness that mysteriously cropped up during a live-streamed funeral ceremony that was being held at the school for a another University official who’d died.

It was both terrible timing and deeply ironic.

I’m not sure what it means, but reports all mentioned JoAnne was the University’s second black president (she replaced the first black president).

According to reports from attendees, during the funeral Mrs. Epps suffered a “sudden episode,” whatever that means, was tended to by EMS, and then taken to the hospital where “resuscitation efforts continued but unfortunately were unsuccessful.”

In other words, JoAnn never woke up and died at the hospital.

And what do you know? No cause of death has been released. Why would it; who cares anyway?

💉 I recently ran across one I’d missed, another performer who died on stage back in March. South African rapper Costa Titch, 28, suddenly, unexpectedly, and quite dramatically died during a live performance, plunging stiffly off the stage, briefly seizing, then going limp.

For good.

Titch was playing a live show at the Ultra South Africa festival, held in the Johannesburg Expo Centre. He immediately received emergency treatment, was taken to the hospital, but never woke up.

And … no cause of death has been released. Since March. And as the video shows, he certainly didn’t kill himself.

💉 Next, we have two deaths from one show in one week. Last Friday the 15th, British doctor, practicing dentist, cosmetic dentistry expert, and reality-tv star Dr.  Uchenna Okoye, 53, died suddenly and unexpectedly after a mysterious “brief illness.”

Late Friday afternoon, Dr. Okoye’s family announced her death on Instagram: They wrote: "We are heartbroken to announce that Dr Uchenna Okoye sadly passed away after a sudden illness on Friday 15th September 2023. We know many of you will be devastated and shocked to see this post. We ask for your prayers and some privacy at this difficult time."

Dr. Okoye leaves behind a seven-year-old daughter. There was no mention of the father in any of the articles.

💉 Dr. Okoye regularly appeared on the BBC show This Morning. The show seems to be having a bad run of late. Precisely one week before Dr. Okoye died suddenly, This Morning’s regular guest and gadget enthusiast Matty Lock, 19, also died suddenly and unexpectedly — one Friday before, on Friday, September 8th.

Matty has regularly appeared on the This Morning show starting at age 15, when he had a segment reviewing the best vacuum cleaners to buy that summer. 

Matty was also active in local politics, having been recently elected as a youthful town councillor in Maghull; he was also serving as a parish councillor in Lydiate.

No cause of death. None. Matty’s case might be the strangest one yet. Here you have a teenaged TV personality, an electronics wizard, AND a budding Labor-party politician — an all-around British wunderkind — and not one of a dozen articles even got close to mentioning his cause of death.

In the old days, the news vacuum would have meant Matty killed himself. But now if it’s a suicide, the articles always telegraph that by mentioning “mental health issues,” or depression, or they say the person was “going through a difficult period” or something.

It’s very likely Matty was vaccinated. You’d be a fool to bet against that fact. The UK has one of the highest vaccination rates in the world: 93.6% of people aged 12 and over have received at least one dose of the vaccine. And he surely faced various mandates to come on the BBC and in local politics and so forth.

But now, we know full well what no news of the cause of death means. I could be wrong, but my money is on a heart attack, a stroke, or a complication from blood clots.

Matty’s case really highlights the staggering human cost of our medical experiment. What could someone like Matty have accomplished, given everything he’d already done by just age 19?

🔬 A new study published yesterday in the Lancet, titled “Biodistribution of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines in human breast milk.” Joining previous studies, the researchers found mRNA present in human breast milk, and unsurprisingly it was most concentrated during the first two days after getting the jab. After that, mRNA levels remained detectable, but fell to what the authors called “trace amounts,” leading them to conclude breast feeding is probably safe after 48 hours.

Having the breast milk findings confirmed is helpful, and puts the lie to more of the CDC’s vaccine propaganda. But the broader findings were even more interesting. In the researchers’ words:

"Our findings demonstrate that the COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is not confined to the injection site but spreads systemically and is packaged into breast milk extracellular vesicles."

"Initially, it was thought that the vaccine mRNA encapsulated in LNPs would remain localized at the injection site and quickly degrade. However, several reports suggest that the LNPs/mRNA can enter the bloodstream and accumulate in distant tissues."

To me, the most significant part of that conclusion was we now have another study, this one in one of the most prestigious journals in the world, confirming “the COVID-19 vaccine mRNA is not confined to the injection site but spreads systemically.” In other words, despite the CDC and every other white-coated pretender literally swearing on a stack of Bibles that the mRNA would never ever leave the injection site, we now see study after study proving the exact opposite.

They lied. The lied like rugs, or dogs, or robotic reptilian lying machines. And not just a little. Who knows how many people would have hesitated to take the shots if government officials and pharma-adjacent doctors had told the truth, which is that the pseudouridine-stabilized mRNA does not quickly dissolve but goes everywhere.

🔥 Trans rights are colliding with gay rights again, and guess which survives? The UK Daily Mail ran a story yesterday headlined, “Plans for a ban on gay conversion therapy are set to be ditched amid concerns about unintended consequences.”

“Gay conversion therapy” is a hysterical, made-up, liberal fund-raising bogeyman. Woke donors have been taught that dark Christian conservatives run covert camps deep in the forest where kidnapped gay teenagers are waterboarded and brainwashed, violently transforming them into self-loathing heterosexuals, or something.

It’s sort of like a liberal version of the MK-Ultra conspiracy theory, except with less evidence.

The funniest part of their theory is that liberals also believe that gay sexual preferences are immutable biological characteristics than cannot possibly be changed. Except by Christian conservatives, apparently. That inherent contradiction is also the rationale for their suspicion and disgust: they say nobody should even try to change an immutable characteristic like an atypical sexual preference.

You see, sexual preference is not like your gender, for instance, which you can easily change by just amputating all your sex organs and taking powerful hormones for the rest of your life.  But you can’t change sexual preference, no way, no how.

Anyway, the hysteria over “gay conversion therapy” fully blossomed, as these things always do, into woke censorship in the form of angry accusations the instant anyone questions whether sexual preference is an immutable characteristic or not. You’re trying to convert gay people! Fascist!

So starting with Boris Johnson, the UK government has long promised the British people a law to “ban” such odious conversion practices, to protect delicate gay folks from being exposed to any alternative ideas, by outlawing things like gentle spiritual counseling aimed at helping someone figure out whether their sexual preference is something they actually want or whether it might really be a harmful, tragic artifact left over from some childhood trauma.

Conversion therapy has been a hot topic lately, albeit somewhat under the radar. For example, back in July Michigan banned “gay conversion therapy,” joining 21 other blue states:

Suicide! Again. Suddenly, liberals have discovered kids are killing themselves in droves over their sex choices, which they previously didn’t even know about until they were older. Even with those high stakes, Michigan’s law was not quite as fulsome as proponents would have you believe. Excluding the enforcement language, Michigan’s new anti-ban law is only one short sentence:

A mental health professional shall not engage in conversion therapy with a minor.

So first of all … were Michigan’s “mental health professionals” driving lots of kids into suicide or something? Was that the problem Michigan’s democrats just fixed? Anyway. Obviously, the law doesn’t ban secret, deep-woods religious conversion camps. Or even the “conversion” of adults.

One suspects that the Constitution’s protection of religious liberties and free speech had a lot to do with them leaving the church completely out of it. And, even boiled down to that one line, Michigan’s new law remains susceptible to a First Amendment challenge, in my view. But that’s for another post.

Back to the Mail article. The news was the UK has now chucked its effort to enact a national ‘conversion’ ban right into the bin. The problem was, unlike Michigan, Britain was shooting for the Full Monte; they wanted to outlaw all conversations about people’s atypical lifestyle choices.  But they just couldn’t figure out how to word the law without also roping in, get this, gender conversations.

Some ministers are said to be concerned that the ban could have 'unintended consequences' for parents and teachers dealing with trans children.

In other words, the pro-gay contingent crashed right into the pro-trans contingent: they worried that all the new “affirming” conversations with kids could be prosecuted as “conversion” under a broadly-defined law. Of course, most officials expressed it the opposing way, claiming they didn’t want to punish parents who question their child’s sudden new gender “decision.”

Bottom line, this is progress. Apart from some leftover virtue-signaling, so-called “gay conversion bans” seem to have run their course, now eclipsed by the faltering trans debate.

🔥 In an interview a couple weeks ago, while Hurricane Idalia was swirling toward Steinhatchee, MSNBC anchor Andrea Mitchell got a little snippy with fast-talking, Cinderella presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who adroitly and energetically schooled the aging anchor on the facts of climate change deaths.

Vivek made a terrific point that bears repeating: climate-disaster-related deaths are down by a whopping 98% over the last century, thanks in most part to fossil fuels.

My favorite line was, “You literally just quoted one person’s opinion. With due respect. That’s exactly what you just quoted.”

Love Vivek or not, you must admit he is fun to watch.
