☕️ STORMY WEATHER ☙ Tuesday, August 29, 2023 ☙ C&C NEWS 🦠
Canada and California contrast parental notification laws; HECO hits back after being blamed for Maui fires; CDC worse than ever in 2 shameful stories; Ozzie data reveals disgusting corruption; more.
Good morning, C&C family, it is Tuesday! The winds of panic blew through North Florida yesterday as now-hurricane Idalia leaned toward Florida’s Gulf Coast in a northeasterly direction. Schoolrooms, courtrooms, and government offices are all cancelled for the next two days. Meanwhile, most everybody working real jobs still has to show up for work, but I digress.
It’s hurricane protocol! Shelves are emptied of batteries, which don’t fit in cell phones anyway, and water, which literally falls out of the sky during a hurricane. But don’t argue, it’s the pre-hurricane ritual.
Here are the evacuation orders from the State’s handy interactive map. Mandatory evacs are in red (but just for RVs and mobile homes):
The weather channel is currently running historical tsunami clips and warning Floridians the End is Near. But of course, hurricane projections are always subject to change without notice. There’s no penalty for being wrong, so.
Oh! I almost forgot. The bread. Here’s a pic of my closest Publix’s bread aisle, taken last night, posted on FaceBook by an employee:
You might be wondering why sandwiches would be critically important during a hurricane, which just shows you’ve never had the pleasure. It’s part of the experience. Besides, you don’t have to cook a sandwich.
Assuming Idalia follows her projected path — an immeasurable ‘if’ — her outer bits will scour Gainesville sometime Wednesday morning. If the roundup fails to appear, it will be because the power was out, but C&C shall rise again.
Your pre-hurricane roundup today includes: Canada leans toward telling parents when kids think they’re trans; California leans away from telling parents when kids think they’re trans; Hawaiian Electric Co. hits back after lawsuit, firing political torpedoes right into Maui County’s side; data shows the uptick in covid deaths is not actually much of a tick at all; CDC yanks the only adverse event reporting system it believes in; recently revealed Australian data raises serious questions about their mandates; the abolition of San Fransisco continues with the evacuation of Nordstrom; and the most explosive possible potential interview — by Tucker, of course.
🗞💬 WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY 💬🗞
🔥 First up: Wins and losses in the counter-revolution. In the win category, Canadian TV News ran a hopeful, surprising story yesterday headlined, “'Parents must be fully involved' in student's decision to change pronouns, Ontario education minister says.”
In Canada!
Ontario’s education minister Stephen Lecce told media he thinks parents should be included whenever their child asks to use a different, ungrammatical pronoun at school. Lecce shocked Portlanders when he made the outrageous claim that, “Parents must be fully involved and fully aware of what's happening in the life of their children,” Lecce said.
The minister added this was the official “province’s position on the matter.”
It’s literally genociding trans people.
According to an Ontario survey cited by CTV, 16% of residents asked said they think the decision “should be solely up to the child.” Sixteen percent actually seems like a lot (to me). These wokesters also agreed that kids should be allowed unsupervised play in industrial construction sites, and that 3-year-olds should have free access to permanent markers.
Haha, just kidding. What moron would give a 3-year-old a permanent marker? (If Michelle says anything, that time was just a mistake, I thought it was a regular marker.) And what kind of village idiot lets kids decide to have a secret identity at school and start taking powerful hormonal meds?
Californian government officials, that’s who.
🔥 Politico ran the opposite story from CTV yesterday, in an article headlined, “California is suing to stop schools from outing trans kids to their parents.”
Before I report on the story, I just want to put this out there:
Having said that, yesterday California State Attorney General Rob Bonta, pictured below, filed a lawsuit to stop a Southern California school district from informing parents when students ask to be called by inaccurate pronouns, describing the notification policy as “outing,” whatever that means, arguing it violates students’ civil and constitutional rights, and claiming it might cause kids “mental, emotional, psychological, and potential physical harm.”
Mental, emotional, psychological, AND physical harms! That’s ALL of them!
I just want to pause right here and point out that last year Florida passed a law making parent’s knowledge a fundamental right and requiring schools to keep parents informed when things like pronoun requests happen. And so far, there’s been no epidemic of child suicides in Florida, or whatever dire outcome Rob Bonta’s feverish imagination is torturing him in the wee hours when he can’t sleep thinking about all those kids wanting to change genders.
Anyway, last month, Southern California’s Chino Valley USD School Board — which Politico described as “ultra conservative” — voted 4 to 1 to approve the new parental notice policy. Parents cheered when the policy passed. All that happiness badly triggered Rob Bonta, who was just starting to feel brave enough to ask for his own alternate pronouns.
https://twitter.com/KanekoaTheGreat/status/1696257702232801723
So anyway, here’s how Rob explained things, in an official State Attorney statement. Tell me he doesn’t sound personally offended:
“In discussing the policy before its passage, board members made a number of statements describing students who are transgender or gender non-conforming as suffering from a ‘mental illness’ or ‘perversion,’ or as being a threat to the integrity of the nation and the family.”
All of that sounds perfectly correct to me, but to Rob’s ears, still tingling from accidental over-application of liquid tanning solution, the school board members sounded just like obstinate cave dwellers who wanted to pull the nation by the hair back to the bad old ‘Neo-Victorian’ days of 2010 or something.
Sonja Shaw, president of the Chino Valley Unified Board of Education, is the primary backer of the board’s new policy on trans students. Before her election in November, Shaw was “never involved in any politics” until the pandemic revealed that Sacramento’s groomers, I mean politicians, were “pushing perversion on our children in every possible way.”
“To be honest with you, I didn’t even know what the GOP was,” she told a crowd of supporters at the state Capitol last week. I told you the pandemic fruit continues to ripen.
Ominously, Politico ended its article reporting the California Legislature’s LGBTQ+ caucus is getting ready to file a bill that would ban notification policies, which would be the opposite of both Florida and Ontario, as it turns out.
It’s kind of shocking that Canada is looking more conservative than California. God bless those truckers.
🔥 The Hawaiian Electric Company (HECO), which Maui County just tried to make the scapegoat for the Lahaina fires, responded Sunday by blowing a hole right amidships of the S.S. Narrative. The Post-Millennial ran the story yesterday headlined, “Hawaiian Electric says power lines were shut off hours before wildfire.”
To further make the point, the sub-headline added, “Records "conclusively establish" that power lines to Lahaina had been de-energized for six hours when the afternoon fire broke out.”
Uh oh.
You may recall from last week’s C&C post that Maui County sued HECO, claiming that the power company negligently failed to cut the power off even though it had ample notice from windy weather advisories and Tarot cards about what was going to happen. Specifically, Maui claimed HECO “inexcusably their power lines energized during forecasted high fire danger conditions."
They were just guessing.
Maui County’s lawsuit went so far as to boldly claim the wildfires "could have easily been prevented" if HECO had only shut down the power. I mocked Maui for suing so quickly before anybody even knows yet what happened.
Welp. On Sunday, Hawaiian Electric announced that it had, in fact, de-energized all its power lines in West Maui hours before the devastating wildfires broke out. It even presented evidence. Whoops!
I guess HECO does not intend to take the blame for Maui.
In its statement, HECO said Maui’s poorly-conceived lawsuit "may leave no choice in the legal system but to show responsibility for what happened that day." Which is exactly what I predicted would happen.
Maui is going to regret trying to pin the blame on well-funded HECO, which can easily afford lawyers and investigators. So far, the government has carefully avoided picking fights with opponents its own size, who can afford full-on litigation, like when they let Wal-Mart and Amazon continue operating while they were locking down small groceries and stores.
Try again, Maui.
🔥 In the first of two humiliating stories about the massively-funded health agency, yesterday the New York Post ran a story headlined, “99% of new COVID-19 deaths reported by CDC not just due to virus: data.”
Remember that we’ve recently been suffering through an orgiastic media firestorm of stories about an “uptick” in covid deaths.
But according to the CDC’s own covid dashboard, only a minuscule 1.7% — or about 6 people — out of the 324 covid deaths logged for the week ending August 19th had the virus listed as the primary cause of death. The other 98.3% of people died “with covid,” not “from covid,” meaning something else like cancer or a heart attack killed the person, but they tested positive at the time.
So. Science! Shut up!
💉 Even worse, you probably think you couldn’t possibly be surprised by anything the CDC does anymore, no matter how silly or bereft of human intelligence, or dumber than a Martian rock. Well, you’d better sit down. The Epoch Times ran a story yesterday headlined, “CDC Quietly Removes COVID Vaccine Adverse Events Collection From Website.”
There are two adverse event collections systems. The first and more well-known is VAERS, an “antiquated” system that Branch Covidians love to dismiss out of hand because it is a “self-reporting” system and “anybody” can enter a report (under penalty of perjury and federal criminal prosecution if false, with cases only published after review by FDA officials, but still).
The second, newer system is called V-SAFE. It requires vaccinees to register using their mobile devices and then complete periodic surveys about their ongoing health. It is a long-term safety monitoring system.
About 10 million Americans who got the covid jabs signed up for V-SAFE.
Yesterday, the CDC unceremoniously pulled the plug on V-SAFE for covid, abruptly announcing a retroactive data cut-off of June 30th. It did not explain its baffling decision to terminate the highly-celebrated, high-tech program. According to the announcement, the CDC had also stealthily cut off any new registrations back on May 19th.
Wrapping it up.
For context, and for a possible explanation for canceling the program, since CDC isn’t saying, here are some V-SAFE stats. According to an analysis by ICAN, as of September 2022, the 10.1 million users had completed over 151 million monthly health surveys using the platform (about 15 each). Of the 10.1 million users, over one-third, 3.53 million people, reported being “adversely impacted” by their vaccination.
Of those adversely impacted, 1.2 million folks reported being “unable to conduct normal activities,” which sounds bad, and 1.3 million said they had to miss school or work. About 800,000 actually needed medical treatment for their “adverse impact.”
Between the two companies, Moderna registered 1.6 million adverse impacts, and Pfizer had 1.4 million.
Half (48.5%) of the people who needed medical care sought “urgent care,” and 15% had to visit emergency rooms. From the ICAN review:
One of the most compelling arguments against the jabs from the outset was the absolute absence of any long-term safety data for a brand-new, never tested mRNA vaccine platform. For some reason, the CDC just pulled the plug on its newest, most-reliable system for obtaining long-term safety data.
The CDC did not respond to Epoch’s request for comment.

Here’s a link to the Brownstone article if you want more detail: https://brownstone.org/articles/cdc-refusing-new-covid-vaccine-adverse-event-reports/
So. When the jab rollout started, we had zero long-term safety data on the jabs. And we never will.
💉 The Epoch Times ran another fascinating jab story yesterday, headlined “First COVID Deaths Were Fully Jabbed, Australian State Records Reveal.”
Remember — Australia arrived quite late to the covid party. Before cases started, the island nation locked down early and hard, and was widely and often touted by Establishment Media as a lockdown success story. That is, it was a success story until the “pandemic” Down Under began — after its vaccination campaign had already kicked off.
A group of doctors suing the Australian government finally received some data in discovery. And guess what? It showed that the very first deaths from covid in Australia were almost all in fully vaccinated people.
Note that deaths 1-7 were from cruise ships. Local deaths start at patient number 8.
Think about this: Australia ordered some of the most draconian and punitive vaccine mandates in the world outside of China and North Korea. But at the time they ordered Ozzies to get jabbed or get fired and then go into house arrest, this data shows the Australian government already knew the jabs didn’t stop people from getting covid and dying from covid.
So … what then could possibly justify the strict jab mandates, the mandates relentlessly pushed on all Australian networks by all those white-coated scientists and doctors as the “only way out of the pandemic?”
Hmm?
🔥 Next, some news from the controlled demolition of San Fransisco, in two recent New York Post headlines.
First, from August 25th (last Friday):
Guess how many of the people who looted the San Fransisco Nordstrom location have been arrested? I’ll give you a hint: fewer people than were arrested for San Fransisco mask violations. Actually, it was zero. Zero arrests.
Next, four days later, yesterday’s headline (Monday):
A sad day indeed. And not just because the San Fransisco store was considered Nordstrom’s “flagship” store and had been operating for 35 years.
Why don’t they just rip off the band aid and go ahead and make shoplifting legal in California?
The good news is Nordstrom’s departure will depress real estate prices even more, allowing oligarchs a chance to buy the insanely-valuable downtown properties up for pennies on the dollar, after which the City can suddenly begin prosecuting its brownshirts, I mean criminals, again. It’s like Lahaina, except slower.
But wait! There’s a ready solution to all this crime that’s destroying our once-grand cities! Smart cities. Or Fifteen-minute cities, or whatever you call it. Where everything you need is located right where you live, right in your own high-rise prison, I mean skyscraper.
Who wants to bet we’ll be hearing about turning San Fransisco into a smart city soon?
🔥 Finally, for something more elevating, consider this impossible headline from yesterday’s Trending Politics News: “Tucker Carlson May Be Interviewing Vladimir Putin Soon; Here’s What We Know.”
TPN said Russia Today was reporting yesterday that Tucker asked President Putin to sit for an interview and tell Americans about his side of the nation’s ongoing war with Ukraine, his feelings about Joe Biden, and his relationship with President Trump.
Earlier this year, Tucker first mentioned the potential blockbuster interview, claiming while he, Tucker, was being interviewed that the NSA had been monitoring his Signal account. Tucker learned this after he was summoned to Washington following a private Signal message mentioning wanting to interview the Russian President. Later, Tucker said, the NSA admitted reading his Signals.
https://twitter.com/Sprinter99800/status/1696273335888326739
So, Signal users, FYI. Something to think about.
Can you imagine the wailing and gnashing of teeth if Tucker actually lands the interview? Russian propaganda! How dare he interview one of the most important and influential people in the world right now! Americans must never listen to Putin, not one word!
Tucker could never have interviewed Putin while he was working at Fox. If it happens, it will only be because Tucker was fired, launching the most successful video stream in history.
What do you think? Should Tucker, whose last interview with President Trump garnered 200 million views, interview the Russian President? Can we handle hearing what Putin has to say without the State Department summarizing it for us? Or will we be bewitched and hypnotized by the English translation of whatever Putin has to say?
Have a terrific Tuesday, and Floridians, stay safe out there! I have to run and go turn off my sprinklers, which I just noticed are uselessly sprinkling right now, which is going to create a swamp when it starts raining. See you back here tomorrow!

ERRATA
1. Fixed the reference in the Australia story, "the jabs DIDN'T stop people from getting covid and dying from covid."
2. Removed the extra "with" from comment on Rob Bonta; "in the wee hours"
I guess they had to pull V-SAFE because it showed it was actually V-DEADLY.
