When I hear about that book I cant help but remember endless vacation car rides where my Mom would read that book to my Dad. I was just a kid then and couldn't really understand it, but maybe now is the time. Thanks MaryAnn

I tried reading. Atlas Shrugged in my early 20's and just couldn't get through it. Picked it up again after Obama was elected and finally got it. Fantastic book and also liked the movie.

I forgot there was a movie, hmmm. Always funny to decide whether to read the book first or see the movie first, knowing the book is more important.

The book was originally titled, ‘The Strike.’ Knowing that can help get into the book.
