I am not, though I know of others that are. We’re actually exempt while in the flight deck, due to the importance of communication, and the ease of donning an oxygen mask quickly. But the whole day outside of the flight deck we’re supposed to wear them. It makes me fatigued faster, gives me dry eyes and mouth, and who knows what I’m breathing in that attaches to my mask with how often I take it off. There are many of us pushing back.

Two years ago, we listened and believed that a novel virus had let loose, possibly causing catastrophic death counts. We were told we were the vectors, we were the ones that could accelerate death to our friends and dear loved ones. Out of concern for others, we bought our toilet paper, stayed home, wore masks, and celebrated holidays and family events alone. We isolated and waited for a sun to shine on the grey, dark prognostications. In our frenzy of long lived fear, I watched friends run to take unproven vaccines. And, then the narrative changed and the government identified the real demons in society, the "unvaccinated". We finally could throw all our anxieties, fears, anger on a thinking, hesitant segment of the population. Bam!!! We had a new group to victimize, blame and throw under the bus. And, so, those who cared about health, read the studies and wondered why the vaccines were heralded as 95% effective, began a long road of unmerciful ostracization, adding to the PPSD. I doubt that those who have been psychologically tortured by the mean "unvaxxed" narrative, and remained unvaxxed will have the unusual cardiac events. However, they nonetheless have suffered. They have learned that mob thought is fickle, destructive and is not to be trusted.
