Outside the big cities (KC and St Louis) Trump and FJB and lets go Brandon signs are everywhere, no masks, no social distancing, people just livin their lives....
The Dems in this state have run Detroit for 70 years. Why does Detroit never make the news? Because it’s a violence plagued rat hole that had sports as the only thing going for it. Get out of southern Michigan and it is much the same. Problem is Dems are eying places like Midland, MI which because of Dow/DuPont is full of young upwardly mobile adults who liked Midland for the arts and education Dow has always funded. They tend to be Liberal and Covid porn has them scared to death. They are beating a path to get their babies jabbed. The Dems have been very clever in finding pickets to infiltrate and to be honest, even in the Rep. strongholds, they say nothing and stand for nothing. Lots of Trump flags and our Governor is an idiot, but we are still masking school kids and I know dozens of breakout Covid cases in this state. Numbers are the highest they’ve been but we have 70% vaxx rate of 16 and older. What’s wrong with this picture?
Oh they are infiltrating here too, and are masters at the long game, fiddling around the edges and gaining ground. I am in a red suburb of a blue county that includes Kansas City (KC has been D for even longer than 70 years and it's a hot mess too but not quite Detroit, but they are working on that) Dims (KC refugees) have infiltrated our school board and have the conservatives on the board scared of being called racists or grandma killers. They are on committees, pushing crap like 'complete streets' and 'walkable communities with special green zoning' and 'affordable housing'. R's paid little attention to municipal elections, until covid. I ran in 2018 for city council, but lost to a lib, 10% voter turnout. Who showed up to vote? Police, fire, city, and teacher's unions, all coming up on a contract year. NOW the R's are paying attention, and pissed off. Raised enough hell that we've gotten covid restrictions lifted, but the jab mandate is still out there lurking for people's jobs. But way too many have gotten the jab, those with side effects chalk it up to 'coincidence', at least in public. Probably at least a third of our church members are still watching services online, and half the people in church and in stores are still wearing the face diapers. SMDH. Wish I had Childer's optimism about the tipping point, it tipped for me about May 2020, but way too many just going with the flow and not questioning any of this. No idea what our county vax numbers are, I ignore the hand-wringing local press, but know its ~50% statewide. And our governor keeps pushing the jab.....

Perhaps this position has support in case law. We currently have an epidemic of addiction to covid vaccines "pushed" by media hype to a large segment of the population who no longer need a cure. Now we know that adverse reactions inflicted by mandating vaccine on top of natural immunity has a negative risk-benefit outcome. ie: "Your plane is more likely to crash".

1) A blatant financial conflict of interest.

I do not see how the Florida bills ban vaccines mandates. They are simply offering opt-outs. Not much different than Title VII. What a disappointment.
