Sadly the PREP Act is what's behind this. During a declared public health emergency, it shields them from all liability if they stick exactly to the approved (by the federal public health agencies) script. The moment they diverge from that by allowing any alternate treatments, they expose themselves to liability. The fact that approved script doesn't work very well and in many cases is actually detrimental to patients doesn't matter to hospital administrators.
Some say the best revenge is living well. I think it's making the enemy live poor. Civil suits can spread truth, justice & deterrence; severe financial pain. Won't succeed in all cases, times & venues, but surely they will in some, unless one or more of our Blue-Light Federalist Society Trump appointees betray us again & set judgments aside. Surely fraud & lies, and destruction & hiding of studies & evidence necessary to informed consent voids the vaccine makers' get out of jail free card. Similarly for doctors & hospitals who deny early (or ever) effective treatment in favor of Deathilator & RunDeathIsNear (= $$$), violating the right to try law, lying about IVM & HCQ etc. Among folks wising up to what's been done to us will be judges, jurors, prosecutors.

First of all, my sincere condolences to Dan's family and you. I know how hard you worked on this. I'm with you about needed changes and ensuring his death isn't in vain. I'm in, not sure how that's going to look but I'm reading and researching and trying to figure out where to get involved. There are SO. MANY. FIGHTS!
Second, I read a lot of covid related blogs, and while there's lots of good information to be had, you win HANDS DOWN for the writing. Despite the narrative nonsense you're writing about, which is sometimes seriously depressing to be sure, you make me snicker or even lol at least once every day!
What’s been rattling around in my mind lately is the absolute necessity of dismantling our govt-funded medical industry. The CMS guidelines are *directly* responsible for the hospitals’ perverse refusal to treat patients.
Somehow without even noticing it, we allowed the govt to substitute bureaucracy for sound medical treatment. If the doctors fail to adhere, they fight like hell to implement deadly but profitable CMS std of care.
Another thing I’ve recently noticed: hospitals have become drug hotels, where the homeless addicts check in to enjoy a warm bed, three square meals, and all the Dilaudid they can consume. I used to think free public needle clinics for heroin addicts was crazy, but this is light years beyond that. These people check in, get their free opiates, then check out with a “to go” bag of additional painkillers for the road.
All of this is connected. Socialized medicine was silently implemented under our noses. This is the result
Yes! But dismantling this is a huge task. Apparently 7% of US jobs are in health care, and that doesn't count an incredibly long list of positions that are related (lawyers for hospitals, medical suppliers, etc).
There are medical PMAs (Private Membership Associations) cropping up all over the place.
Drive around and count how many buildings are for medical care. In my area all the new buildings appear to be for hospitals, medical offices and clinics. Recently I went out to Allentown PA, near where I went to college 30 years ago. The hospitals were huge. They didn’t used to be there. Once upon a time we had industry there (remember Bethlehem Steel?) and private employers…
I've been shocked to read average # of prescriptions at something like 12!
I'm 68 & have exactly zero scripts. Take occasional aspirin for sore muscles & zelenko prev protocol. So for every one of me, there's someone with 24 scripts! Yikes! No wonder so many are psycho!
Yes it's crazy how we've been led to believe that pills are the answer. I, too, am in my 60s. Only prescription I have is for a small dose of thyroid hormone. I believe that need stemmed from an autoimmune reaction to a vaccine trial I participated in years ago (yes, I once too believed all the safe and effective mumbo jumbo).
PA is all about healthcare and retirement homes. Not only is the state aging (and not bringing in young people or enticing them to stay), but we also have a very favorable tax environment for retired folks - and we don't tax pensions. We get all the old NY/New England/etc govt workers living out their golden years (unless they go to Florida).
Thanks for bringing up medical PMAs ~ had never heard of them. I did a little looking around but couldn't find anything addressing protections for doctors against having their licenses to practice suspended. Do you a good url to look at?
I'm not sure - I'm fairly new to the concept myself. But it's possible that the doctors in PMAs simply operate outside of the licensing boards. (I was going to say - "so do your research!" but licensed doctors and hospitals aren't looking so good right now, so....yeah).
Personally I'm ok doing almost all health-related stuff outside of the main system but accidents worry me - seems that it is kind of helpful to have access to emergency rooms.
That is my understanding: under a PMA, doctors are operating outside of the licensing boards, but the challenge there is that if you are ONLY operating under a PMA and have lost your license to practice, you may have difficulty accessing prescription drugs you may require. That may not be an issue if you become well-versed in alternatives. For example, offering IV Vitamin C treatment (or IV nutrients in general) can work very effectively and prove life-saving under a PMA structure. If you wanted to dispense Ivermectin, however, you'd have to join those who bootleg supplies from other countries below the radar screen of The Powers That Be.
Beautifully said Fred. Wasn't this Obamacare? Remember the number 2 cause of death in the US, after heart disease, mind you, is correctly and incorrectly prescribed drugs.
What could possibly go wrong injecting a bioweapon into people that isn't what it says it is and is the most dangerous substance we've taken (as measured by VAERS), more than all others combined. One of its worse side effects is permanently damaging the heart (number 1 cause of death in the US) and it was never fully tested and lastly and worst, the drug companies have no liability selling it to the world. What a horror!
My spouse is a floor nurse in a very large hospital. A few months back she walked into a patient room to discover all the pictures, extra sheets - even the crucifix on the wall - had been piled up on the patient’s chair by his meth addled gf. They were literally stealing everything that was not physically connected to the building.
She called security, and made them put it all back.
Later, when the doctor-ordered opiates arrived for the patient to take with him, a huge physical fight ensued in which the patient and the gf were fighting over the drug doggie bag.
You would not believe how common it is for drug-seekers to check into these hospitals.
Maddeningly, this hospital is a glass and steel architectural wonder, with gorgeously expensive landscaping of their campus (and a team of 10,000 to run the joint.)
I say “maddeningly” because ALL OF THIS is paid for by us, the taxpayers
And others come in to birth their 6th child, who gets admitted to nicu for weeks/months for withdrawal & sometimes a collection of other issues, while mom goes home with a new bottle of pills. Never to be heard from again. Breaks my heart.. every. single. time.
She’s been practicing for over two decades, and she’s very strong. The other younger nurses call her “Mom” and get her to lay down the law when a druggie threatens to get violent.
A toxic soup of: top-down rigid script for ineffective/dangerous hospital Covid treatments, vax mandates for healthcare workers resulting in unprecedented staff shortages, oh and a vaccine with long-term consequences for who knows how many = collapsing healthcare system in need of “saving” by federal govt.
It wasn't implemented under our nose. Not enough people cared to fight it and all the "guilty", liberal, white people, and all the black people who also only see skin deep, elected Obama who told everybody he was going to fundamentally transform the US. People elected him because of his skin color. It is the fault of the majority of Americans we are in the situation we are in.
I voted for him, and it wasn't because of his skin color (though I was proud that we had a black candidate). I genuinely liked and trusted him, found his ideas to be strong.
I think the strong forces at work - this lessening of our personal responsibility and resilience, the outsourcing of so many segments of our lives to experts - has been happening for decades. We used to have chickens in the backyard and we knew how to build things with our hands; we knew how to teach our children and contribute to our community.
Now, from school to hospital, from internet to food supply, just about every aspect of our life is out of our own hands. It's a dangerous situation, ripe for power-hungry corporate/political elites to treat us like the children we have become.
So I don't really blame myself for voting for Obama; I blame myself for becoming utterly dependent on a system outside of my control.
I hope you can now recognize that you only voted for O because of media propaganda. He was actually a terrible candidate and an equally bad president. If you didn't or don't know that, you are still too trusting of the Demedia.
Reforming ALL of our federal agencies to remove persons with conflicts of interest could help considerably with a trickle-down effect. Most of what we constantly battle are our own tax dollars being used back against us by the federal agencies (FDA, FTC, EPA, FCC, etc.) who are tasked with protecting public health and safety but clearly DON'T.
I’m in on making Dan life matter. I’ve seen that before someone looks like coming back and then turns backwards on the ventilator. This is so horrible and I am so sorry for the family. Mayo should be sued civil case. Nothing to stop that.
🙈 oh no! Say it isn’t so!! No c&c this weekend? I hope epoch times has good articles. Those aren’t as funny. I prefer my bad news with a side of irony that you inject into this pandemic and political environment.
Good luck with the March and remember don’t go into any federal buildings even if invited by police. If you are invited by DC police run don’t walk in the opposite direction. 😂
Ooh. Covert stuff, love a good spy movie! Burner phone, signal scrambling stuff. Watch that shoots darts. All in this stuff love the gadgets!! Ha. Seriously I think it is dangerous to travel to DC. I’m glad I saw the Capitol years ago no reason to go back.
Thanks for summarizing and interpreting the liberal news, and watching the odious press conferences so I don't have to. I feel better informed and I agree that it appears they are taking the Omicron Off Ramp. Thanks be. I'm not vaccinated, so if the "boosters" don't work for Omicron, and the boosters are the exact same potion as the original shots, then that means that the "original" course of the vaccines don't work against Omicron either, right? So why in the world would someone like me need to get vaccinated, now? What possible conceivable good does it do for anyone? In case Delta comes back? Just because Biden said so? It's like mandating that I build a time machine and go get the 2012 version of the flu shot.
The Worlds #1 Condiment Clinic is too proud to care. They have morphed into a self-centered, politically and financially driven monstrosity. Healthcare, my ass! It could be their new motto: Too Proud to Care.
I don't know Dan or his family, but I've been praying for them daily as you've been sharing their story. Reading about his death, my eyes are filled with tears. I'm surprised at the depth of my reaction. To his family, please know that I am continuing to pray for you, and for ultimate good to come of this evil.
Given that the admin just ordered 500mn tests and now 500mn n95 masks, I think their definition of "victory" is not going to look like what you may be thinking. I envision their post covid world to be one where masks continue indefinitely, testing continues indefinitely. The mask is a talisman, an icon. Democrats are married to it. And I am fairly sure their base wants it to stay partially because they know how much conservatives hate them
Home tests are so test results do not get reported into official stats. N95 masks - now that’s a problem! My poor high school kid has to wear a useless mask all day. If they have to wear N95s I’m pulling the rip cord on this state…been trying to just through high school but suffocation changes the paradigm
My family and I live in a mask-everywhere + kids place. I have told my wife that in September 2022, my kids are going to 'normal' school. Where that will be, I really don't know, but its the most important thing I can do now is to rescue their childhood. Am not waiting for these psychopaths to come to their senses
If other countries like the UK do away with tests and masking, how many other countries will be following suit? SOMETHING is brewing. Sometimes it just takes one to set the trend for the others. And Biden can still claim that by giving out tests and masks he stopped the pandemic ha ha ha. Yep! That did the trick!
I don’t trust Narrative 2.0 at all! The politicians, bureaucrats and corporations are now saying things we’ve known to be true for a year and a half. And no admission that WE were right. Without that, they will claim that they've changed course because "the science" has only recently changed, and worse, aver that their policies worked.
They did something similar in July 2021. Said it was over dropped all mandates only in September, right on time for school to start up. reinstated the mandates due to Delta. Then added even more mandates. The classic carrot on a stick ploy. Here is your freedom until I decide to pull it away. Right after midterms it will be pulled again is my prediction.
It seems America is a bit slow getting behind the 2.0 narrative. Fauci wins if Walensky gets fired.
Gaslighting at its finest with that speech yesterday. Mostly empty shelves now are just the same as last year. Is that the same as “mostly peaceful protests”?
Hopefully there is some way to make these hospitals pay for refusing proper treatments, Include any medical professionals who are not allowing proper treatment for this disease.
Arizona has proposed a bill making corporations and companies who mandate the vaccine liable and able to be sued for any adverse effects or deaths occurring within 120 days of receiving a Covid vaccine or booster.
I am sooooo angry at the hospitals. My friend suffered alone. Was not even treated for his known high blood pressure. Family was not allowed in except for two visits. It was abuse and torture. I am in 100%!
I completely agree that the hospitals need consequences. I am determined to do all I can to get grand juries empaneled in Texas to investigate them.
Sadly the PREP Act is what's behind this. The moment they diverge from that by allowing any alternate treatments, they expose themselves to liability. But at the back of all that is a lack of moral courage.
No doubt. They are "just following orders". :(
Amen!!!
Absolutely!
This is such a sad situation - the PREP act is so bad for the citizen and so good for the money hungry pharma business - so sad.
Doesn't matter one bit. Human suffering and death are annoying twitches of data points on their spreadsheets.
Some say the best revenge is living well. I think it's making the enemy live poor. Civil suits can spread truth, justice & deterrence; severe financial pain. Use their own tool against them - lawfare. Bleed those bastards.

TRUTH.
We’ve been led to believe we *need* eleventy-seven different Rx’s and biannual doctor’s visits.
You don’t. Eat unprocessed food, avoid sugar, go for a long walk each day. Starve out the Govt-Medical-Industrial complex! It’s a trap!
The life you save will be your own.

Me too re thyroid. It's something can't live without but the comments above ignore that not all of us can choose to avoid all Rx scripts.
Yep. Who needs a police state when you have a medical state :(

Yeah, I've recently thought that I should go back and listen to some earlier things with my current ears... there's a lot that I'm sure I missed.
Well, I linked the wrong article. This is the one I thought I was posting, but the other one is good too.

Thank you! Many of those are familiar but others are new so I'm glad to have this list.
Here's a substack from a lady in a circumstance that's similar to yours. She is also questioning much of what she believed.

Good point! It’s hard to believe they’ll give up mandates and lockdowns. And the midterms as a pivot makes sense.

Only 11% empty! Nothing to see here!
I am sooooo angry at the hospitals. My friend suffered alone. Was not even treated for his known high blood pressure. Family was not allowed in except for two visits. It was abuse and torture. I am in 100%!
Prayers to Dan's family. May he fly High with the Angels. What a tragedy.
Outperformed?... So far...Biden may have out-performed end-stage Alzheimers
I salute your optimism.
