People have been asking for C&C swag for a LONG time — I’m sorry it took so long. I have ZERO free time, what with running a law office, fighting with the government, husbanding and parenting, and writing a daily blog. But with the help of some awesome volunteers we finally got the store online and I think it’s great.

For all you crazy people who want to wear your awesome C&C swag around town and confound your neighbors with the in-jokes, go nuts. My job is complete. Let me know what you think. My volunteers will be monitoring the comments today for feedback about the designs, the colors and styles, and any suggestions you have for additional items.

And if you do acquire some cool C&C items, post a pic in the comments to share. Extra points for wearing your C&C gear in unlikely places like school board meetings.

Now on to the roundup. I’m doing something a little different today — for my birthday — a brief roundup, and then I explain my prediction that we’ll have a wild ride for the rest of the year, and why I think the Great Reset is bound to fail. Plus the funniest thing I saw on Twitter yesterday.

🔥 Fox News ran an article today headlined, “House OKs Russian Oil Ban, Spending Bill With $13.6B in Ukraine Aid.” According to Fox, the bill to suspend Russian oil imports passed passed 414-17. They voted 361-69 to approve a $1.5 trillion dollar spending bill that funds the government through September 30, and includes $13.6 billion in war aid to Ukraine. It also massively funds a giant grab-bag of looney liberal programs, so get ready.

🔥 According to The Hill, Biden said Tuesday that he is requesting $2.6 billion for foreign assistance programs that promote general equality worldwide. It’s not enough we have DEI here. They want to spread the joy around.

Biden said that the systemic barriers women face were exacerbated by the pandemic, which impacted women’s labor force participation, showed the burden on caregivers, and increased gender-based violence somehow. Not the government lockdowns, no. The virus did that. Because science.

💉 According to the latest British Covid report, hospitalizations and deaths are increasing again in the UK. And about ninety percent (90%) of British who died each week of Covid in February were vaccinated. It’s a pandemic of the vaccinated.

The UK data shows infections are rising again after a brief decline, topping 60,000 per day. By comparison, in much-less-jabbed Florida, we saw only 14,000 reported infections in a WEEK. And the UK data shows that boosters offered no benefit against hospitalizations for younger folks.

The UK reported that 99% of adults now have antibodies to Covid — mostly from vaccination — which is odd, because it’s far higher than what experts predicted would be needed to achieve herd immunity. Notwithstanding near universal antibody levels, infections, hospitalizations, and deaths are still increasing there.

For the four weeks ending February 27, the UK reported 397 unjabbed deaths, compared to 3,512 jabbed. Experts assured us that vaccination would prevent this exact thing from happening. Good thing we’re winding down the pandemic, news like this isn’t good for business.

💰 CNN published an article yesterday headlined, “Joe Biden orders study of cryptocurrency risks and a digital dollar.” My first thought was, NOW what?

This is packaged, OF COURSE, as consumer protection, because you all need to be protected from the horrible scourge of cybercurrency, which most of you probably never troubled yourself to figure out. Russia, inflation, war, oil, these are all just paltry matters to be addressed AFTER the really big issues are squared away. Big issues like cracking down on the free market for digital currency and coming up with a replacement product for you to use, because science.

Most observers believe Biden’s order is a response to Russia skirting banking sanctions using cryptocurrencies. It’s the only thing that makes sense. Biden’s order goes well beyond that, though. They’d like to regulate the new cryptocurrencies. And it includes a novel feature: a “digital dollar.” The article reports the executive order called on the federal government to “explore a US Central Bank Digital Currency.” (They’ll acronymize it to CBDC or something.)

The order doesn’t — can’t — call for the CREATION of a new digital currency. Biden lacks authority to do that. So he’s just telling the executive branch to get ready. Congress will have to push the button.

One advantage for governments of a digital currency is that you can tweak it for inflation whenever you want just by typing some new numbers into the mainframe. With this doggone paper currency, it’s brutal trying to replace the old dollars with “new dollars.” And politically suicidal. People like their old dollars. They don’t WANT new dollars.

Loopy Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen gave away the administration’s priorities in her statement, when she explained ”This approach will support responsible innovation that COULD result in substantial benefits for the nation, consumers, and businesses. It WILL also address risks related to illicit finance, protecting consumers and investors, and preventing threats to the financial system and broader economy.”

Got that? Yellen says it COULD RESULT in benefits for consumers, but it WILL ADDRESS “risks related to illicit finance.” It reminds me of how a shiny Vegas slot machine COULD RESULT in a huge payout for you, but it WILL ADDRESS the problem of you having some money left in your bank account.

Don’t count on hitting the slots this time, either.

🔥 Now, normally I report the news to you straight, without bias or slant of any kind. (What? Don’t look at me like that.) But since today is my birthday, I’m going to give myself the gift of a little opinion column. So here’s my idea about what we can expect for the rest of the year.

I’ve mentioned before that, as a litigator, I often have to try to figure out what opposing parties were up to during a complex transaction of some kind. The parties themselves aren’t saying, or they are lying, so I must look at their behavior, choices, and words and try to put the puzzle together. That’s exactly what I’ve been doing with Covid, the media, and government actors since the start of the pandemic. Between litigation and the blog, it’s practically a habit now.

Setting aside conjecture, what do we know for sure about Biden as president? Well, we know that Biden is the oldest man to occupy the White House. (On average, U.S. presidents are inaugurated at 56.) Biden isn’t just the oldest president. He’s a frail 79-year-old president in relatively poor health. We can draw some reasonable conclusions from that. The first reasonable conclusion is that Biden is probably not up to putting in a full eight-hour workday, much less meeting the time demands of the presidency.

The media’s behavior — especially its silence — confirms this theory. You can often tell a lot about what’s going on by what the media DOESN’T say. For example, they aren’t running ANY stories about Joe’s stamina. They aren’t publishing any of the classic “a day with Joe Biden” stories that gush about the president’s frantic and world-shaping day-to-day business. They sure aren’t running stories about Biden’s health and vibrancy. They aren’t describing him jet-setting around to handle world hot spots or even domestic hot spots. All these types of stories are staples for a media-favored president. Just look at the Obama or Clinton years.

So, my first reasonable conclusion is: Biden probably only works a few hours a day.

Now consider the necessary implications of that fact. Every week, Biden has some required public functions that, politically, he simply cannot get out of, such as absolutely required photo ops, important press announcements, meetings with domestic and international politicians, and phone/zoom calls. He MUST reserve enough of his time and strength for those, which makes his discretionary time even more scarce. As a result, Biden doesn’t have enough time to get his arms around ANYTHING, much less big problems like inflation.

Which leads to my next uncontroversial conclusion: Biden is completely dependent on his staff. We’ve had disabled presidents before, but it looks clearly like Biden occupies a place in that group.

Having only a handful of working hours each day, a limited amount of energy, and a need to pretend like he is in control, Biden has to rely absolutely on whatever is put in front of him. This hypothesis is supported by indisputable facts like Biden’s general refusal to take questions from media, and his saying bizarre things like “I’m not supposed to be answering questions.” Nor am I aware of any contradictory facts.

My ultimate reasonable conclusion: someone other than Biden is in charge, even if just implicitly. Biden isn’t calling the shots.

With me so far? Now we can make some predictions. What is likely to happen if Biden isn’t in charge? For now, forget about speculating as to who or what is really in charge at the White House. We can’t know that. We could make some educated guesses based on whose agenda the administration’s priorities are most consistent with. That is good circumstantial evidence, but it’s not enough to close the deal.

Prediction No. 1: the proposals from the White House will become more and more extreme as the year continues.

Absent a miracle, Biden is extremely unlikely to run for re-election in 2024 just given his age and health; so he is politically disposable. He can be hated by everybody by 2024, who cares? Even Biden doesn’t care. If he only sees what they want him to see, he doesn’t even know if he’s hated anyway, so what’s the harm? Treating Biden like a disposable resource is consistent with his cratering poll numbers and indefensibly damaging decisions like surrendering Afghanistan and handing all our military gear to the Taliban.

If whoever is in charge won’t be blamed because they’re anonymous, and if Biden getting the blame doesn’t hurt anything because he’s a lame duck anyway, and it appears they’re going to lose Congress in January, then they only have nine months to accomplish as much of the agenda as they can. So we’ll see the proposals and executive orders get even more extreme and more invasive as the year continues. Prepare yourselves, it will be a wild ride.

🔥 Having said all THAT, I will also say I feel certain they are going to lose, and lose badly. To make the discussion more interesting, let’s assume the worst-case scenario: that what we are seeing is the World Economic Forum in the process of implementing its Great Reset, fueled by having direct control of many governments and supported by a steel frame of Jeffrey Epstein-level Kompromat influencing many other world leaders.

I’m not saying I believe that. I’m only suggesting we assume it’s the case for discussion.

Now. If all this is true, then our chief enemy would appear to be German atheist Klaus Schwab. He obviously thinks he is pretty smart. He’s not restricted by morals or morality, restrained by ethics or compassion, or limited by religious beliefs or even any transcendent vision of humanity. He also appears to wield enormous political influence, for some reason.

Here are two reasons why Schwab is doomed to failure. First, have you seen how he dresses? Have you seen the picture of Schwab in the leather jumper, the one that looks like some kind of low-budget sci-fi villain’s outfit? I swear I saw the same getup in Plan 9 from Outer Space. No genius would dress that way. Einstein didn’t dress that way. He dressed as plainly as possible. Schwab is an overeducated idiot.

More materially, Schwab and the resetters believe in central planning. Central planning is the idea that societies and economies and human behavior can be understood and productively directed by a core group of hyper-intelligent experts. A simple example is, rather than letting the economy determine commodity prices through supply and demand, central planners think they can establish committees to set prices more fairly and more efficiently than can the free market.

The idea that central planning can possibly work, even assisted by artificial intelligence, whatever that means, is rabidly delusional. Central planning has NEVER worked. It has failed over and over. No reputable economist has ever even TRIED to describe in detail how central planning COULD possibly work.

So, if you voluntarily choose to believe in the delusional fantasy of efficient central planning, you’re a moron. Schwab believes in efficient central planning. Thus, he’s a moron.

And morons make mistakes.

I’m not saying that we don’t have a lot of work to do to fight our way out of this mess, which is our own fault for falling asleep at the switches of our local governments and letting George Soros install a lot of demonic creeps into school boards and district attorney offices all over the country. But we’re awake now and they have their work cut out for them.

Finally, I’ll end with a spiritual argument. I believe God created the world and the whole Universe, all based on His own laws. Physical laws AND natural laws. I see evidence everywhere that violating His commandments produces unhappiness, a lack of thriving, and consequences. For example, if you lie a lot, eventually no one will believe you, right when you really need them to believe you. If you go around making enemies, sooner or later somebody’s going to whack you with a two-by-four coming around the corner. And so forth.

I do not believe that God created the rules so that people who cheat and break the rules or don’t even believe the rules exist will prosper. I think they will NOT prosper. I think they will cause their own downfall even if we can’t — because the rules that support the universe are hard-wired. You can’t get get around them. Trying to avoid the moral infrastructure of the universe is like trying to avoid its physical infrastructure. Like trying to avoid gravity.

The Universe has moral gravity just like physical gravity. Philosophize all you want, but when you jump out the window trying to fly, gravity is going to get you. The Resetters will lose, because they are trying to violate the Universe’s moral gravity. They may have a season. But they’re breaking natural law, and the Universe has its own ways of dealing with that.

So be encouraged! We are in the midst of a great, generation-defining war. It’s our time.
