Slight historical update: Putin, whatever else he may be, is not a Communist. The second largest political party in Russia IS communist, though, so beware what you wish for if your goal is to topple Putin. As for why so much infrastructure is still functioning in Ukraine, my understanding is that the Russian goal is to destroy the Ukranian military and its infrastructure and to minimize harm to Ukranian civilians and civilian infrastructure, to the extent that is possible in war. I realize this isn't the American shock and awe way of war; it also doesn't constitute support for the Russian invasion. I'm just trying to dispel some common misperceptions--via the door Jeff graciously leaves open a crack with his thought-provoking questions. Define the "nazi problem in Ukraine" (not on the internet). You should know that Europe was occupied by the Nazi Germany, so were parts of the USSR including territory of the modern Ukraine. ALL those puppet states had collaborators and executioners working for the Nazis. Ukraine and Russia aren't different in this respect than, say, France. But there is no screaming that France must have a "nazi continuation". Look at pictures of those skinheads! Nationalist parties in Ukraine and Europe? Our family has experienced betrayal in decades past by those in authority, so one would think she would have given up some of her tenacity in that regard. But I think it is simply too incomprehensible to her that seemingly good people would lie on purpose. Or even lie unknowingly.
She recently questioned her prescribed early treatment for The Plague, after looking it up online (at F D A, because that was the first site that popped up), because of “all the side effects.” I suggested that They are the same people who want her to get injected and want to keep her from taking said safe medicine. And that perhaps the prescribing physician who was willing to risk licensure and reputation for prescribing was a more reliable source of information than the F D A.

My mom (89) lives with us. She makes little remarks at how she never sees the "news" anymore. I can't stand to have it on except for TC's show on Faux News. I keep her stocked with books, but she misses the endless droning of the television. She, too, was of the generation that the government always had our backs. Sigh.

I have always believed that even if The Show is brought to an end, it won’t *really* be ended but merely sent underground, to be continued at the earliest convenience. The Show isn’t over until every last mandate is gone AND we have firm protections in place to prevent mandates from EVER happening EVER again AND there is public accountability for all of those people who caused this chaos and tyranny in the first place: creators of the Virus, lawmakers who imposed tyranny, pharma and medical people who made and promoted and administered harmful drugs and protocols, big tech who colluded with government to censor and restrict free speech, and private entities who mandated. Funny that you should mention the word "cockroach." In this community, we think of Fauci when we see that word. But a doctor in the Ukranian military just used that same word to describe Russians and said he had ordered his medical staff to castrate Russian soldiers who are captured. The video went viral, and then someone in the Ukranian govt/military thought it might not be so good for optics outside Ukraine, so the doctor apologized and said he didn't really mean it.
That video was stunning. But Ukranian military are the salt of the earth, no?

I find I am tiring of the media, all of it, but realize I must pay at a little attention to the reporting. Reality, none of us should have to ponder the validity of an article..... but the corruption in our world is and has been unprecedented. Even trusted sources are many times suspect. Solutions... some are not repeatable, others are to just shut off all outlets; Pray for salvation for those who need Christ. This is most needed and has the best chance of success. Other options, in prayer, include praying for honesty, integrity and especially that truth will be told and easily verified. I tend to walk in an out of the news as I can only stand so much at one time. We must seek "wisdom" as God calls us to, especially on the truth of the media we are fed.

Admittedly, media has always been agenda driven. Think of the National Gazette attacking George Washington, labeling him a "king", "Remember the Maine" trumpeted by the media calling for war with Spain, Edward Bernays' book Propaganda from 1928, or Judith Miller lying about WMDs to support the neocon case for invading Iraq.
The difference seems to be that now it is so brazen and that the "media" simply do not care. The more absurd the narrative, the louder the volume. Worse yet, the majority of the population appear to believe the lies.

Slight historical update: Putin, whatever else he may be, is not a Communist. The second largest political party in Russia IS communist, though, so beware what you wish for if your goal is to topple Putin. As for why so much infrastructure is still functioning in Ukraine, my understanding is that the Russian goal is to destroy the Ukranian military and its infrastructure and to minimize harm to Ukranian civilians and civilian infrastructure, to the extent that is possible in war. I realize this isn't the American shock and awe way of war; it also doesn't constitute support for the Russian invasion. I'm just trying to dispel some common misperceptions--via the door Jeff graciously leaves open a crack with his thought-provoking questions. Oh btw, I'm not sure the nazis Putin seeks to eliminate are really NEOnazis; I think they're a continuation of the nazis of the 1930s and 1940s, the good Ukranian folks (mainly in western Ukraine) who started slaughtering their Jewish neighbors before the Germans even arrived and in whose honor modern Ukraine has erected multiple monuments. I've found the most reliable sources for up-to date info about developments in Ukraine are Alex Christoforou and Alexander Mercouris, who report daily on their channels on Rumble, Odyssee, and the Duran locals community. Define the "nazi problem in Ukraine" (not on the internet). You should know that Europe was occupied by the Nazi Germany, so were parts of the USSR including territory of the modern Ukraine. ALL those puppet states had collaborators and executioners working for the Nazis. Ukraine and Russia aren't different in this respect than, say, France. But there is no screaming that France must have a "nazi continuation". Look at pictures of those skinheads! Nationalist parties in Ukraine and Europe? Sure, like having 0-2 seats, it's a multi-party system, not just 2 major parties. And it's very hard to understand why Russian speaking population in Eastern Ukraine needs to be bombed to liberate Russian speaking population in Eastern Ukraine from nazis in Western Ukraine (where Putin won't go). It's such a geographic mess.
Ukraine should be, perhaps, called a fascist state. But so should be Russia, Europe, Canada, Australia, the UK, the US for the gross human rights violations for the past 2 years, some earlier. Me too! My husband and I listen to them daily through Locals . They bring historical perspectives and well thought out/ documented data to their reports. Alexander will tell you what is his educated opinion or fact.
I like that about them too. Nice to know you're listening to someone who can admit they got something wrong or misinterpreted something. Is there anyone comparable in the US? I must say, their recent programs have me terrified of the future that the Western elites are bringing down upon us common folk, either through incompetence or by design. I read the article. I especially like the last paragraph. and yes, I'm angry at family and friends who don't want to see the truth but never once did I ever consider getting the vaxx. My close family feels the same so I'm in good company and don't (can't) care about the rest. We've decided we're in the control group. We'll see how many people suffer long term effects from taking an experimental drug.
