I don't hate anybody. Trump's vaccine promotion issue is a serious flaw. Two friends took the jab on his recommendation and suffered serious vaccine injury. Others will tell you the same about their friends and family. Trump lost a lot of support because of it. It's not just my opinion.
Advocating a vaccine that experts were telling him was dangerous is a very serious "imperfection" that cannot be overlooked if he's voted back in office. Using "TDS" like the CIA uses "conspiracy theory" to censor criticism of Trump is buying into Deep State tactics.
The fact is that he did not mandate the vaccines and I don’t believe he would have. He also would have supported the use of HCQ and IVM. Unfortunately with our crazed, rabid TDS media, anything he supported became instant poison once reported. Donald Trump had the right instincts. Throw all you can at the pandemic, including early treatment, to protect people. The biggest issue I see was that they used his germophobia to get him to agree to a lockdown. That was the end of his presidency because it allowed all kinds of irregular voting to happen.

Just one instance. I do not agree with his stance on the vaccine. He didn't push mandates to get the vaccine. I don't know one person here that has not been blown away by how deep the corruption of our institutions are. And I am naturally suspicious. I have been duped too. Just not into getting the clot shot.
My mom had seen him comment about politics over the years, and when he decided to run, she was all in. I was on the fence, I didn’t like his brashness at first and found him off-putting (also had memories of his excesses in the 80s and found that unappealing on several levels). But my mom told me on several occasions, he may not be your cup of tea but he really loves this country and wants to help it get better. She convinced me and instead of voting 3rd party in 2016 I voted for him. A lot of it was to help make sure Hillary would not get in since I despise her more than I can express. And then in 2020 I voted for him again, more enthusiastically. He had his faults but so does everyone, and he’d done so many good things in his first term.
I definitely agree with the idea that he didn’t have to run and gave up a lot and went through a lot because of it.
I argue the raid did exactly what the instigators knew would happen - (1) Promote Trump for 2024 and (2) Trigger the conservative base and those on the fence to vote conservative in the midterms
I think this is a case of God allowing our enemies to be so stupid that they are falling into the pit they have dug for us. This seems to be happening more and more, and it is thrilling to see just how much people have woken up and are resisting now. Just got back from some large areas with "mask required" signage, and 90% of people stayed unmasked - the quiet and cheerful refusal to participate is a beautiful thing to see.
Problem with the " to each his own" mentality is blind compliance is the enemy of freedom and impacts the collective. Once tyranny flexes it's muscle and see compliance it flexes more muscle stealing more freedoms from all of us. Educating people is important. There is so much information available there is no excuse to still be wearing a mask. They DON'T work, never did, there is not one study pre-covid that supports masks or social distancing. Masks are also BAD for your health, I cringe seeing people wear them especially at the gym. It causes diminished oxygen which may have long term neurological impact, especially in children, you are inhaling bad bacteria that you just exhaled as it accumulates in large quantities in the lungs and now they are finding plastic particles in the lungs that come from the mask.

Indeed! I was done with Trump until yesterday. I voted for him twice but I just felt he failed the mission and there were better candidates. But yesterday, I realized that this raid represents an assault on everything that holds us back from being an absolute Marxist hellhole. If he runs again, I’ll vote for him.

In 2016 I voted for Trump but wasn't wildly enthusiastic about him...yet. Being in California, I knew my vote for him was useless in the electoral college and therefore wouldn't help elect him. One thing I did like a lot about him was his willingness to fight back against all his opponents, unlike any of his Republican predecessors. I found that refreshing and I was willing to overlook how uncouth he could sometimes be. But after watching all that he accomplished in his 4 difficult years in office, by 2020 I was an enthusiastic Trump voter although once again, I knew my vote was useless in CA. I do know a lot of people who view things similarly. I know of no one else who would keep fighting (with gusto!) against all the relentless attacks he endured. He seems to thrive on that! Trump wanted to drain the swamp, but I honestly think he had no idea how deep and pervasive that swamp really was. He trusted people he probably now knows he should never have trusted.
Here’s another anecdote. As I have said before I am a lifelong liberal NY dem who has recently broken up with the democratic party. I am not really a republican but could maybe be persuaded to vote for DeSantis. When I travel, many east and west coasters do not even know where MO is on a map, let alone ever visited here. But what I loved about Trump the candidate (really did not like Trump the man, too egotistical, too brash) was that he talked about the issues me and my friends and family were talking about and SICK of the MSM and elites' rhetoric they were pushing. The political correctness. The idea that our best years as a country were behind us. This idea that overrunning this country with illegals was a good idea -- hurting low wage workers the most, as they got displaced by people who would work for next to nothing. (one meat packing town in KS had 23 different languages spoken in the elementary school) The idea that clinging to our bibles made us weak and ignorant. I could go on, but people like Mitt Romney did not resonate with us or give any indication our concerns were being heard. He just checked the boxes.
So for me in 2016, I started in the Carson camp, moved to Cruz, but loved Trump's poking the eye of the people I couldn't stand - like the media elites preaching to us about climate change. I can't remember exactly what I said, but the gist of it was that our Republic is circling the drain and I wanted to know what they were doing as a group, to return power to the states where it rightfully belongs.
The Convention of States is becoming a bigger movement every day. "Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” I think they have 20 or more states on board.
A convention of states would be a huge mistake. I know everyone for it thinks it will rein in the government but there is a very strong possibility that it could be a runaway convention and we could lose our current Constitution. The convention of 1787 is where the Articles of Confederation were thrown out for the Constitution. The delegates at the time were limited in their instructions by their states to revise only. Do you think in this political climate that you would put your trust into delegates that you can’t select to hold our constitution and not replace it with another document? The convention of states project has rewritten the second amendment to clarify it.

I don't hate anybody. Trump's vaccine promotion issue is a serious flaw. Two friends took the jab on his recommendation and suffered serious vaccine injury. Others will tell you the same about their friends and family. Trump lost a lot of support because of it. It's not just my opinion.

The fact is that he did not mandate the vaccines and I don’t believe he would have. He also would have supported the use of HCQ and IVM. My mom had seen him comment about politics over the years, and when he decided to run, she was all in. I was on the fence, I didn’t like his brashness at first and found him off-putting (also had memories of his excesses in the 80s and found that unappealing on several levels). But my mom told me on several occasions, he may not be your cup of tea but he really loves this country and wants to help it get better. She convinced me and instead of voting 3rd party in 2016 I voted for him. A lot of it was to help make sure Hillary would not get in since I despise her more than I can express. And then in 2020 I voted for him again, more enthusiastically. He had his faults but so does everyone, and he’d done so many good things in his first term.
I definitely agree with the idea that he didn’t have to run and gave up a lot and went through a lot because of it.

I think this is a case of God allowing our enemies to be so stupid that they are falling into the pit they have dug for us. This seems to be happening more and more, and it is thrilling to see just how much people have woken up and are resisting now. Just got back from some large areas with "mask required" signage, and 90% of people stayed unmasked - the quiet and cheerful refusal to participate is a beautiful thing to see.

Problem with the " to each his own" mentality is blind compliance is the enemy of freedom and impacts the collective. There is so much information available there is no excuse to still be wearing a mask. They DON'T work, never did, there is not one study pre-covid that supports masks or social distancing. Masks are also BAD for your health, I cringe seeing people wear them especially at the gym. It causes diminished oxygen which may have long term neurological impact, especially in children, you are inhaling bad bacteria that you just exhaled as it accumulates in large quantities in the lungs and now they are finding plastic particles in the lungs that come from the mask.

In 2016 I voted for Trump but wasn't wildly enthusiastic about him...yet. Being in California, I knew my vote for him was useless in the electoral college and therefore wouldn't help elect him. One thing I did like a lot about him was his willingness to fight back against all his opponents, unlike any of his Republican predecessors. I found that refreshing and I was willing to overlook how uncouth he could sometimes be. But after watching all that he accomplished in his 4 difficult years in office, by 2020 I was an enthusiastic Trump voter although once again, I knew my vote was useless in CA. I do know a lot of people who view things similarly. I know of no one else who would keep fighting (with gusto!) against all the relentless attacks he endured. He seems to thrive on that! Trump wanted to drain the swamp, but I honestly think he had no idea how deep and pervasive that swamp really was. He trusted people he probably now knows he should never have trusted.

When I travel, many east and west coasters do not even know where MO is on a map, let alone ever visited here. But what I loved about Trump the candidate (really did not like Trump the man, too egotistical, too brash) was that he talked about the issues me and my friends and family were talking about and SICK of the MSM and elites' rhetoric they were pushing. The political correctness. The idea that our best years as a country were behind us. This idea that overrunning this country with illegals was a good idea -- hurting low wage workers the most, as they got displaced by people who would work for next to nothing. (one meat packing town in KS had 23 different languages spoken in the elementary school) The idea that clinging to our bibles made us weak and ignorant. I could go on, but people like Mitt Romney did not resonate with us or give any indication our concerns were being heard. He just checked the boxes.
So for me in 2016, I started in the Carson camp, moved to Cruz, but loved Trump's poking the eye of the people I couldn't stand - like the media elites preaching to us about climate change. Came around to him as he gained momentum as the only way to punch back at the Clinton machine. Decided if brash and egotistical delivered the goods, sign me up!
Trump 2020 rallies were a microcosm of that midwest ethos. Young, old, fat, skinny, rich, poor, all together, united for a cause, praying, loving this country and waving our flags, arm in arm with no one telling us we were rubes or any number of the '-ists' that the left tosses at us.

I may be wrong, but I think Trump has changed and improved as a person since the 80s and 90s. Maybe it’s because of getting older, I don’t know. I don’t get the impression Joe has gotten any better. If anything, his arrogance and grift, constant lies and using his position in government and money from the taxpayers to sustain his lifestyle and privilege have only gotten worse. His family is not even a hot mess, it’s a boiling, scalding mess, and if the allegations of incest and child molesting are true, then he is on a whole other level of despicable and rotten. I don’t think Joe would stick his neck out for anybody but himself or maybe his family. Yet Trump has often gone to bat for many “lesser” people even when it didn’t necessarily benefit him. Same here, only voted for Trump in 2016 because I would never vote for Hillary. But coming out of our crowded rural voting hall, I felt the best I had ever felt voting, even after being told Hillary would win by 20 points.

A great many in CA will vote for Trump, but the Dems dominate in this state and our votes are meaningless in the electoral college where it counts. However, a large popular vote can certainly send a message in terms of numbers.

I can't remember exactly what I said, but the gist of it was that our Republic is circling the drain and I wanted to know what they were doing as a group, to return power to the states where it rightfully belongs.
The Convention of States is becoming a bigger movement every day. "Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.” I think they have 20 or more states on board.
A convention of states would be a huge mistake. I know everyone for it thinks it will rein in the government but there is a very strong possibility that it could be a runaway convention and we could lose our current Constitution. The convention of 1787 is where the Articles of Confederation were thrown out for the Constitution. The delegates at the time were limited in their instructions by their states to revise only. Do you think in this political climate that you would put your trust into delegates that you can’t select to hold our constitution and not replace it with another document? The convention of states project has rewritten the second amendment to clarify it.

In case anyone missed it, the DOJ and FBI had been in Mar-a- Lago in June with the complete cooperation of the Trump team and unfettered access to the records that were the "alleged" focus of Monday's 10-hour raid. They even suggested putting a lock on the records storage area, which they broke off in the Monday raid. Republican leadership response and ACTIONS may well indicate some folks that need to be subject to timely recall efforts in their home states!

Finally, I am concerned about Andrew Yang's Forward Party. Maybe he is sincere, but ultimately, third parties often peel away enough voters to effect the outcome of an election. I don't care if Yang peels away Democrats, but we can't afford to have him peel away any Independents. The only way we can take back the Republic is with a lot of poll watchers and massive election day turnout that puts a big dent in the Democrats ability to cheat.

Yes, that is what I think. The church has always said we will face tribulation. I disagree with that. If wars , poverty famine are not tribulation, I don’t know what is. I think the seminaries have been infiltrated as everything else and the scripture has been twisted. My pastor thinks Rev12 is symbolic of Israel. I read it as constellations. What is interesting is that particular constellation of stars has not been seen In the skies for 7,000 years and on Sept 23, 2017 it returned. The verse talks about “ when you see the son of man”. This constellation of stars is what the Verse is. We have been made to believe reading the stars is a sin. The cabal does not want us to see God’s messages. The Kings who traveled to find the Christ child used the stars. I believe in biblical astronomy ( not astrology) and to me, it’s very interesting what has occurred in God’s heaven as of Sept 23… read Rev 12 and you will understand what I mean.
