If your subscription was only five dollars a month I would certainly sign up for it. But when it says $50 a month and I’m close to retirement I have to back off. I pay for several substacks at five dollars a month to support them. I will give you a one time donation though :-) I appreciate the work you do and the humor you inject
How I wish I could do a monthly but retirement pay is limited. Hopefully I can help out several times a year. I can't begin to tell you what a difference your newsletter has done to brighten my days! You are one of those surprise gifts from God and I will continue to say a prayer for you and your family everyday as read.
Just made a $200.00 donation. I love your feed and read it daily as does my brother. However, the cost of a subscription is an amount I am unwilling to pay annually. I only have one service where I pay that amount or more and that is for a stock market investment service. Still, I feel I should contribute something for the time and effort you put in. Might I suggest some type of tiered account. As an old retail exec, it is always a trade off between lowering the cost versus the increased revenue. Happy Holidays, and thanks for everything you do. Earl
I read this faithfully every day Anna’s have told all my friends about it! I would love to continue reading but $500 is steep! Woods you consider charging less?
Jeff, I truly appreciate your work, your wit, and your wisdom, and I want to support the cause. But as a retired senior living on a fixed income with what is really more like 20% inflation staring me in the face, your $500 yearly subscription price tag is a bit too steep. Would you consider a senior deal, like my local BBQ joint, with a discounted rate for those of us in this situation? Thanks ever so much for what you are doing.
Jeff - I am trying to make a one time donation from here in Ontario Canada , but the system does not seem to allow me to enter a Canadian postal code or a Canadian province.
I had intended to sign up for a 50/month contribution (an hour or two ago), but my receipt and online bank account say it is 500. I replied to the receipt email, but I'm concerned that my problem will not be noted via that route.
Does anyone know how to contact C & C at the clerical level so I can resolve this before it ages anymore? Thanks.
WARNING: ON MAY 7 POST, the day after this post, JEFF SAYS:
“(PS — yesterday an unauthorized solicitation for donations went out on the C&C Substack. It wasn’t me. I generally don’t ask for help; that’s up to you guys. Now I have to do a security review. Anyway, FYI.)”
So I honestly don’t know if this post is legit or not?
Jeff, I love your column. However, I cannot afford $50 a month. Feeling frustrated not to be able to read your blog yesterday, March 12, because I do not have the budget for it. I'm a teacher!

I am retired with limited income, since every little bit helps I did make a donation of $22.00 + .88 to cover processing fees. Thank you for all of your work.

Bought $70 worth of merchandise. Hope it helps. Thank you so much.
Thanks, I hope you enjoy swanking around in your C&C gear. :)

“If you can’t put time into the effort…”. What kind of time can be put into the effort if one doesn’t have money to give? Just looking for ideas.
Be blessed! I appreciate you for just reading and forwarding when you think it's appropriate :)
So glad to find the one time donation site!!

Any chance you could offer a discounted membership for seniors on a fixed income? $50/month is pretty steep.

Is there a solution
Merry Christmas to you and your family
I donated from Alberta. I left state and zip code blank. Receipt received.

Any chance you will consider cryptocurrency for donations? Can’t be too careful these days.
