I have a question. Why would the Dems want a debate BEFORE the Convention? And specifically excluding RFK? They certainly knew Pedo Joe was not up to a debate, so why do it? My guess is that this is designed as an off-ramp to replace Biden in the Convention. IMO, by agreeing to a pre-Convention debate, Trump either foolishly or willingly played right into their hands.

Politics is simple and complex all at the same time. There are always reasons for everything you see, even if we can't see it (and most often, we are not supposed to). And often the players themselves either don't see it, or don't know the degree to which they are being used, manipulated and handled by forces much larger than themselves (which is to say that even blindness and stupidity are woven into this great spectacle of life called politics).
To begin to grasp as an ordinary spectator of what going on, once has to put aside oneself, one's narrow boxed in assumptions as to just about everything. And even then, much is a big guess. But at bottom, things have to make sense and there has to be continuity in patterns perceived. And if not, then keep looking and thinking until things begin to come together.
Here's an example of someone who appears to understand what's going on. And that is why he is so effective. It's quite a piece of work! As over the top political art work, I had to watch it twice!

The only thing that matters in this election is whether the Democrats can, prior to election night, guess (using polling and analytics) the delta between "expected" poll results vs how many votes they need to find in 7-10 precincts, in 5-7 states, in order to win.
If they determine they can't close the gap, without being obvious, they'll deploy political violence.
It is just 6 counties in 6 states that they have to fortify and harvest until 3am the next day. Worked in 2020, perfected in 2022 and will do every cycle going forward

The machine that is Dem owns Maricopa, Fulton, Wayne, Clark, Philly and Milwaukee counties. Not much has changed to dislodge that control of ballot harvesting or ballot fortification in last 3 years. They just need ‘enough’ to win the EC. Trump would have to be up by 8-10% in those states to overcome these 6 counties.

Well based on 2020 outcomes in those 6 counties they have to ‘know’ opponents lead going into the closing of polling stations. They then need to have ‘enough’ ballots either prepared from mail in or if not enough of those they need ‘enough’ adjudicated ballots to turn the results. If it is within 1-4% for a given state/county they can overcome that without it appearing ‘fraudulent’. But if Trump or a R Gov or R Senator is up by 8% after 95-99% of ballots counted at closing time it would ‘seem’ impossible to find that many more in middle of night. These dem counties decide how late to count and which ballots get counted at diff times.

You raise an important point. People generally tell someone what they think the recipient wishes to hear. Thus any survey or questionnaire is very unreliable.

And after last nights debate debacle I really don’t think they can cheat at the level of numbers needed to get away with a steal. Most dems seem to be in shock over how much of a potato Biden is. How they didn’t notice this before likely has to do with the brainwashing and mass formation. But it would prevent election riggging at the scale needed.
So I think it’s either gonna be an epic staged crisis (or multiple ones) and elections are cancelled for our own safety, or Trump will be “allowed” to win and they’ll try to rick-roll him and his administration again.

But at bottom, things have to make sense and there has to be continuity in patterns perceived. And if not, then keep looking and thinking until things begin to come together.

His responses about our actions this past week in Russia (and how ill prepared we are for a world War) were the words of a seriously intelligent and researched, unbiased statesman. Trump and Biden sounded like ignorants in comparison in their comments about Russia.
It is well worth listening to him.
He also made the point of how younger people cannot afford to buy homes and that we are becoming a nation of renters. He said rhat his 7 children have had great educations and good careers but cannot afford homes. He is right.
And even though RFK, Jr.'s voice is 'raspy' - the WORDS are powerful, sensible and his thoughts cogent - unlike "Dumb, Dirty Joe"!!
I have listened to RFKJr to the point where his raspy voice is just his voice to me, and the mind behind it vibrant. Joe on the other hand, probably had dry mouth from the pick-me-up powders and elixirs that he's on, and it's lost its effectiveness to boot.

The only thing that matters in this election is whether the Democrats can, prior to election night, guess (using polling and analytics) the delta between "expected" poll results vs how many votes they need to find in 7-10 precincts, in 5-7 states, in order to win.

Well based on 2020 outcomes in those 6 counties they have to ‘know’ opponents lead going into the closing of polling stations. They then need to have ‘enough’ ballots either prepared from mail in or if not enough of those they need ‘enough’ adjudicated ballots to turn the results. If it is within 1-4% for a given state/county they can overcome that without it appearing ‘fraudulent’. But if Trump or a R Gov or R Senator is up by 8% after 95-99% of ballots counted at closing time it would ‘seem’ impossible to find that many more in middle of night. These dem counties decide how late to count and which ballots get counted at diff times.

I was just trying to explain this to my husband. It's SO frustrating - he's mostly conservative but he defends liberals who don't want to wake up. He says "and they don't understand it from your side. They're not listening to the same things as you". No, there is a massive difference between our two sides. As big as a canyon. And when he did it was a double take when Biden started his first off the reservation ramble. With Trump replying that he didn't know what Biden was talking about and Biden likely didn't either. As much as I wanted him to go crazy on him, he kept his focus on both moderators and was very calm. Not sure how the 1-2 min delay worked- easiest debate for the moderators for sure.
