I brought that update to a local forum and read her quote back to her, asking if indeed this remark was racist, the very thing she accused the R's of being? Her normally-chipper demeanor did a 180 and she launched an unhinged rant at me about how I was the racist. The room went dead silent and everyone wondered who pissed in her coffee or something. But sadly, she got re-elected last week, her R opponent kind of mailed it in and did not use her quote against her.
Some people are so self righteous that they cannot see the error of their ways. Many republicans are afraid to push back. I think they need to be a little more Beth Dutton and a little less princess Di
I'll be honest, I was ready to throw in the towel on Nov 9. But time heals all wounds. School board filing opens Dec 6. The local lefty race baiting group held a big fundraiser last month featuring Emmanuel Cleaver (race baiting lefty congressman from MO #5) as the keynote speaker. Can't let them win this! We got 2 seats this April, 3 more open April '23. If we can pick up 2 more we will have a majority.
Funny!! 'She died in misery', LOL. Actually some parts of the state people say miss-ou-rah but I say miss-ou-ree. Not sure which is technically correct.
But given it is 19 degrees F this morning, misery works too!

Stay in the fight Donna! You’re a role model for others to do the same!
