Dr. Gold being sentenced to prison is an example of the most blatant egregious miscarriage of justice. Shameful and disgusting. How dare she speak in public?! And STILL Hunter Biden enjoys ice cream with Daddy. Fauci....?....free and clear baby! The demon gnome living in his high rise mushroom, unfettered. Nothing to see here.

Not that Dr. Gold should have been jailed in the 1st place, but they probably had to let her out early, because she was busy converting too many people to the side of right. She is a lioness.

You know the times and narrative change are working. A year ago she would have served her full time in jail. Her being found guilty is a miscarriage of justice. I like to think our multiplier might have helped with her early release. Everyone - turn up the heat. Attack this evil on every front. Hooray for courageous Dr. Gold. She's showing us the way. ❤

I find the timing of her early release very interesting given Biden's weeklong attempt to villify half the country with his "semi-facist, MAGA, Trumpie Republicans" label. Polling must be really terrible on all of this.

“Burning indignation has seized me because of the wicked,

Who forsake Your law.”

— Psalm 119:53

Rest assured:

“The perverse in heart are an abomination to the Lord,

But the blameless in their walk are His delight.

Assuredly, the evil man will not go unpunished,

But the descendants of the righteous will be delivered.”

— Proverbs 11:20-21

(NASB1995)

We Christians are reminded of the armor of God passage often. But today the word “stand” leaps out at me. We must STAND against the blatant evil! In Christ, and only in Christ, we have the power to do so. Pray with me…

Lord, let us be strong in You and in the strength of Your might. Let us put on the full armor of God, so that we will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, we take up the full armor of God, so that we will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. We will stand firm therefore, having girded our loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; in addition to all, we take up the shield of faith with which we will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. And we will take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. In Jesus’ name.

— From Ephesians 6:10-17

While we are taking a stand, I urge people to examine the Girl Scouts of America. A once-honorable institution benefitting young girls it has morphed into a lobby for the LGBT crowd, and now accepts both lesbian leaders and biological boys into their troops. This is so tragic. I was a GS and loved it but now I would never support them by buying their cookies.

Expand full comment

My twin granddaughters have been in Girl Scouts for three years. But this year their troop marched in a Pride Parade, no other community parades, just that one. My girls did not attend. I was recently informed there was "approved" patriotism and chanting USA was "unapproved" patriotism. It might make someone who was not from here or someone who has taken offense to something that happened 200 years ago uncomfortable. They intend to teach the girls the difference. We quit. I refuse to teach my kids that garbage. We've joined American Heritage Girls

I'm 61 and they started this crap when i was young!! Ppl have been asleep. They don't know what morality is. They think they can be tolerant a little here a little there and stay the same or get better. Life doesn't work like that. Evolution is a lie. Things don't get better, EVERYTHING is dying. Man's selfish nature doesn't improve by itself.

Viruses are dead. So how can they mutate to "adapt"?

Expand full comment

Viruses mutate during reproduction in the cells that they infected for that purpose.

You'd need to ask someone who believes in adaptation about that.

Mutation is obviously evolutionary if the "vaccines" for the original strain don't work on the new ones.

Yes, thank you! I was a troop leader from 2000-2011, and had been a GS in my youth and loved it. But cracks in the armor.

-Cut resources to troop leaders citing budget while spending $ adding research and advocacy/lobbyists for 'girl's issues'

-Put an asterisk next to God in the pledge, making that word optional

-Promoted secular humanism in some of the troop resource materials

At that point had several girls close to getting their Gold award so stuck with it, but when I learned that many councils were accepting $ and holding events with Planned Parenthood, that was the last straw! I bailed. Wrote the local service unit, the regional office and nationals and told them they would not get a minute of my time or a dollar of my money again. So disappointing as it used to be a stellar organization.

My son was in BSA from first to 12th, got his Eagle, went on 3 high adventure outings and was a staffer at camp for 5 summers. It was a great thing for him, as he sucked at sports and this gave him something to be proud of and had great role models They held out against the culture wars but after he graduated they caved. His old troop is still run by a very conservative patriot group but National org got hit financially when the Mormon church pulled support and troops, which was 12% of their overall revenue due to their agreeing to have gay male leaders. So then started admitting girls to make up for the $ loss. Although the way I understand it. at least in his old troop, the girls are separate from the boys, they share camping gear and have a few joint activities, but the girls are a separate troop.

Sad that the left destroys everything they touch.

Since Girl Scout cookie sales are always monitored by adult women, they frequently send the youngest girls to solicit people who don't come to the table. I simply apologize to those girls and tell them that I'm sorry, but I can't support an organization that teaches that it is okay to kill babies. Sadly, I frequently get a deer in the headlights look from them.

I don’t believe that BSA was as gung ho as GS to make the “woke” changes but it seems it was conform or be lawsuited into oblivion. Both my boys are Eagle Scouts. At the troop level I don’t see any difference in the program. I’ve been an adult leader for 10+ years. Every year I say I’m going to quit and every year I just can’t do it.

Expand full comment

My son and husband are both Eagle Scouts, but both quit because the wokeness not only as it pertains to homosexuality, but also patriotism began to permeate the troop they belonged to. Eventually, both lost their enthusiasm and energy to continue.

Expand full comment

They have had lesbian leaders of troops since the mid 80s. I know because of a shocking experience with my daughters at a big pow wow event in Pensacola, Florida, of all places!

I do not buy their cookies and I try to discreetly tell the adults why I don’t.

A ‘Catholic’ troop leader once adamantly insisted they had specified where their earnings would go and they weren’t supporting that (once) controversial stuff.

So, they’re just paying for salaries, buildings and utilities for the evil, I suppose.

Expand full comment

Yes, there were some volunteers at some events who I suspected were lesbians but they did not advertise that fact. Not opposed to that, just don't push your lifestyle on the girls.

The pie chart showing cookie proceeds clearly shows that a big portion of it goes to the national organization who is the bad actor in all of this. Troops only got 50 cents a box on a $3.50 box of cookies, sure they are more expensive now. Price stayed the same for a decade, they just decreased the number of cookies.

I too have told leaders at booths why I am not buying the cookies and mostly just get 'the look' as if I am some kind of troglodyte.

I love your perspective and agree with you in many ways. In my opinion (as I outline in my one and only substack creation) the only way ( or at least the most effective way) is to fight back with our money! How and where we spend it.

Unfortunately, it would entail a very significant percentage of the population to rally around this cause/ revolt to make an impact.

Here is a sample : “ Stage 1 would be characterized by a boycott of those companies such as Starbucks, Disney, FaceBook, Netflix, Amazon (WaPo), Hulu, Roku, Google, YouTube, Dish and DirecTV, etc…Even if people are reluctant to do a permanent cancellation, at least a temporary one will have a great impact. People can always re-subscribe later on (perhaps even at a lower cost).

Stage 2 is much more involved and requires a more serious commitment.

*Taking all money out of major banks (Chase, Wells Fargo, B of A, etc..)

* Funding smaller local banks and preferably Credit Unions

* Using cash or debit cards only…no credit cards (cutting off the 2%-3%) streams of revenue.”

Just ideas that I know would work. To do this on an individual basis is great for personal integrity and peace of mind, but to do this on a wide scale (if possible) would wreak havoc of the “systems” of this world and its agenda.

You are so right Gabby. The problem is that a majority of people are not willing to sacrifice the convenience and ease of their current life so things remain the same. So many people avoid change like a plague because they like the comfort of the rut. But then few figure out a way to dig themselves out of the rut and try a new path. It always makes me sad that it is only a few who are willing to make the necessary changes to change things. The same goes for speaking out and standing up. People are very complacent even when things are on fire unless the fire is under them and by then it's possibly too late.

Some are ignorant of our loving Father who tells us again and again to “Fear not”. But I know people who I think are willfully ignorant of what’s happening. They just can’t deal with the truth. I have a good friend like that. She took the vax herself and told me she regretted it,, so I thought maybe she was ready for some truth…so I told her that the young man’s heart attack may have been vaccine related. I could tell she did NOT want to hear that. Later she sent me a text which said that she’d searched for articles online to see if there was any connection, and everything she found said that it was rare and/or false information.

It’s a tragic, disturbing thing and people just don’t want to believe it.

Yes, when daily scripture readings, recitation of the Lord’s Prayer and displays of the Ten Commandments were all abruptly removed, a hole was left. And look what filled it.

In my school years, all the boys proudly carried pocket knives. They played some crazy game where they stood around in a circle and flipped their knives down towards their (sometimes bare feet). I think it was called ‘mumbledy peg’. Maybe someone here has a better understanding of that.

I never saw anyone injured. When the teacher got a package tied up with twine, she would ask to borrow someone’s pocket knife to cut the string.

We were all Baptists, Church of Christ, or Pentecostal raised, with a smattering of the unchurched. To seriously harm someone would have been unthinkable.

I think you may have entirely missed my point, and read into it what it didn't include. Please point out where I said that it (or I) "are fine with deforestation"; I'll wait.

To speak to your point, however, while those areas may indeed be "a fraction of their once-magnificent splendor" (and that is not conceding the point, but accepting it for arguments sake), it is what has been the simple reality for centuries: nature must to some degree step aside (metaphorically) for man. Woods are cut, rivers re-routed and dammed, arable land expanded and/or created, ores mined, etc.

Which isn't advocating wholesale destruction, but acknowledging that reality. Unless one is willing to live (as the human race) without many of the creature comforts that have been discovered/created in the last few centuries, that is what that is.

Nature is not now what it once was, just as it wasn't 100 years ago, or 500, or 1,000. While that isn't necessarily good, it also isn't necessarily bad. Though undoubtedly smaller than before, for instance, I'm pretty sure neither of those expanses is going away anytime soon. Which, again, isn't advocacy for tearing them up, just seeing it in less of an emergency state.

But that's just me...

Expand full comment

Yes, arguments around all of this have become less data driven and more politicized. I am all for some kind of middle ground. I am a very staunch conservative, but I am also a little bit of a tree hugger. But on one side, we have the lefty 'don't touch anything' Sierra Club, Greenpeace, etc,. and on the other there is this 'we should be able to do whatever we want wherever we want.' But 'green' tech is not green. HATE windmills , electric cars and solar panels. But also concerned about the impact of corporate ag, deforestation in the Amazon and the impact of chemicals on pollinators, and humans for that matter. Sadly, wish there was a data driven organization, with influence, that promoted some reasonable compromise on some of these issues. It's complicated. Attended a really good balanced debate on GMOs & organics about 8 years ago. The reality is, there is a delicate balance between technologies that have increased yields, and averted starvation for over a billion people, and going full organic which would result in massive food shortages as the yields are terrible compared to modern farming. I don't use chemicals in my garden, and I get lousy results, between the bugs, squirrels and rabbits, I often wonder if it is even worth the trouble. But every Spring I try again....

Expand full comment

It is a conundrum, in that the greater yield can come at the expense of the original nutritional value of the plant. What is the value, not to mention literal and figurative cost, of more food with less nutrition?

Unfortunately, the money and therefore influence goes with those with deep pockets, i.e., the corporate entities that have the greatest financial stake in the current status quo, or increasing it. Which isn't saying that full organic is the only way, but there has to be a better way than what we are currently doing...

Expand full comment

The percent of our income spent on food has declined over time, (at least pre-current inflation) freeing up $ for overpriced tech toys and higher taxes, lol. Agree though that what passes for 'food', too often has lousy nutritional value, regardless of whether it's organic or not. I see 'organic fruit snacks' and 'organic chips' and think, yeah, that's just virtue signaling.

Expand full comment

And not just in processed foods; the nutritional value in vegetables, for instance is notably lower today than it was 100 years ago. The plants grow faster with chemical and botanical changes, but that doesn't mean what they produce is quite the same. There are pros and cons to pretty much everything; trying to find a workable middle ground is, or should be, the key...

Expand full comment

True what you say. Equally true: Clearcutting is often symptomatic of shortsighted, one-generational thinking. The lumbermen who clearcut vast swaths of SE Appalachian forests took what they wanted, and left behind tree stumps - not land raised to its "highest and best use", but devastated lands, unusable neither by human nor wildlife.

This fact was the main impetus behind the creation of the Grest Smokey Mountains National Park. Suggested reading on what clearcutting did in parts of this nation: "Fontana, A Pocket History of Appalachia" by Lance Holland.

Expand full comment

There is a middle ground, which you seem to be ignoring, intentionally or not. Again, nowhere have I implied or said that I advocate clear cutting, but it appears that you view any dissent to your position as doing just that.

Generally speaking, 'either/or' logic doesn't lead to much productivity...

Expand full comment

With all due respect, there is no "either/or" in my observations. There is a continuum of land development; I've spoken to the extreme at one end (the other being no development whatsoever). Of course there are middle grounds. I've built many homes in the southern Appalachians, high on ridges; I've worked to develop a large parcel in coastal Florida for dozens of single family houses. In both cases we worked within both the legal / zoning / environmental guidelines ... and also with great respect for the fragility of the land and the non-human creatures who also live there. We protected uncommon trees and prevented as best possible runoff in the mountains. We relocated gopher tortoises in Florida. Since God assigned us to be stewards of His earth, and since we are tenants and not owners, I get riled up at both the clearcutters and the extreme treehuggers. That's why my initial response to you was to agree, and to say "equally true..." I hope that's a tad clearer.

Expand full comment

Certainly. My apologies, but it sounded to me as though it was one of the other extreme that you were offering. As stewards, we are to be thoughtful, but we are also granted (so to speak) usage of the world. Unfortunately, there are too many who only consider short-term profit, and those who don't seem to see the forest for the trees (sic).

I hope I didn't come across as an ass in my position; I appreciate that you are as reasonable as I try to be... :)

Archeologists are more often than not mistaken. Resets happen every 138 years where areas of the world are totally changed by cataclysmic events. There are many good books that were written before WW2 that show evidence of this phenomenon. It seems history was rewritten after the 1940's but the information is still out there for those that question what we've been told or sold as truth.

Expand full comment

Reminds me of a really excellent book - Guns, Germs and Steel. It talks about history in light of how things in the environment impacted the growth, or lack of growth in the world, over the centuries. For instance, the zebra is not tame-able vs the horse, which was. Civilizations with the horse or mule advanced faster than those with zebras. Climates amenable to farming led to division of labor as one person could produce food for many people, leading to craftsmen, innovators and new technology. Growing populations due to this prosperity meant needing more land - taking it from others, hence the rise of the conquerors. and competition/war made societies progress, rather than stagnate. Not sure it was in this book, or another, but calling cats 'evil' and killing them off contributed to the plague, as there were few cats to kill the rats which carried the plague fleas. Agree, history is complicated, and totally politicized today.

On the flip side, a number of business websites recently have touted how Germany is substantially ahead of their plans for stockpiling sufficient LNG to get the country through the winter. So it is hard to know what the truth is here. If in fact there is no doom and gloom this winter in Germany, the lefties will be vindicated for their stance on sanctions.

Xiden has committed to sending them OUR natural gas, so OUR prices will go up for GERMAN stupidity. Plus, they are hoping to stockpile a three month supply, but their heating season goes October to April ("O to O"), twice as long.

Expand full comment

i don't want to be mean, but I don't understand why you can't find the truth, unless you're relying on MSM sources. Germany "is substantially ahead of their plans for stockpiling sufficient LNG"--what were their "plans" and target dates? LNG storage facilities do not spring up overnight; you may want to read up on how long they take to construct, and btw, construction requires ENERGY and raw materials. Germany didn't build an abundance of LNG storage capacity before going along with the sanctions war because they had a cheap, reliable source of pipeline gas (Russia), which is MUCH cheaper than LNG.

That is a possibility.

However, as I like to say, it is also a possibility that I will win the lottery; possibility and probability aren't the same thing, and I suspect the probability of such happening is quite low. One might even say statistically insignificant...

Rufo is raising funds to develop a ten-part series exposing radical gender ideology in schools. But the multiplier is about the message we are sending that we support folks who push back against the agenda at great personal risk.

We live in a tiny, very rural, very Christian west Central Texas town now (pop 2700). Lots of poor and elderly. An old sign entering our town use to advertise 32 churches (back when the town was much larger). It's WAS mostly "normal" here but the last couple of years, we're getting an influx of the rich liberals fleeing places like Austin. They're buying up real estate and opening businesses. In the last 2 years, we've gotten 3 new bars/gamerooms (one named 420 BBQ -supposedly because that's the address🙄) and just this week, a "420 Smoke Shop" is opening down the street from me (oh, it's ONLY for tobacco, but they advertise Kraton). The gay men who own one of the bars, also opened an ice cream/candy store, offering some kind of "classes" for kids. My pastor mentioned he'd seen some FB posts on this guy's personal FB page. They're pedos...but rich, so in a poor community, they're seen as benevolent. Our city council is hellbent on trying to make us a tourist place, ignoring the residents. The new Fredericksburg is their goal. We have no industry, no good jobs, just minimum wage service jobs. There's a huge meth problem here. And there's absolutely NOTHING in this town for young people to do, but drive to the small lake at the city limits and get high. The decline is spreading everywhere and fast.

What about the Jan 6th people imprisoned and unfairly treated, without financial support and without legal support? I have followed him on twitter since he really got going speaking out on CRT in schools and the impact he makes is powerful. He is very good at getting whistleblowers from inside schools and organizations to share documents and recorded meetings with him that demonstrate things like gender theory and CRT in schools and businesses, which he then publishes so that the school admins or business leaders have to speak about it, and shortly thereafter, some kind of change usually occurs. He was involved with getting Boise to drop the kids drag show this week.

Some of you know my former affinity for Disney. Since Disney took the deep-dive earlier this year, my husband occasionally asks if I miss it. Was I sad that I sold my DVC, let the remainder of my annual pass expire, cancelled all subscriptions and changed my business? Just one year ago today I was on my 4th of 5 trips to WDW for 2021. Has it been a clean break? There's a sadness, like missing an old friend or going through a divorce, but stronger than that I feel disgusted by Disney. This morning there was an ad on my phone to watch the new live-action Pinocchio. There was a time I wouldn't miss catching a new version of one of their old movies. But this one made me feel like one of those Harry Potter dementors came up next to me and sucked all the happiness out of my space. They deserve this poll rating.
