🗞*WORLD NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞
🔥 The next two weeks are the sweet spot for publishing the Democrats’ goofy January 6th report that they’ve been cooking up for the last two years. To influence the midterms, it needs to be published far enough out that corporate media has time to tell everybody what it says before early voting starts, but not so far out that Republicans have time to point out all the lies and errors.
If they miss their window and don’t get the stupid thing out this year, and Republicans take back the House, then it is going to be a completely different and much more useful kind of report. So I’m guessing we’ll see the obnoxious thing soon.
🔥 Newsmax ran a story this morning headlined, “Gordon Chang: China Coup Rumor ‘Untrue,’ but Something’s Up.”
Speculation about something weird happening in China started Saturday, when without explanation about 60% of all Chinese commercial air flights were cancelled. Then, reports began to surface that all trains and buses headed into the capital city of Beijing were halted. Rumors immediately started flying that president Xi had been arrested.
A video of a 50 mile long (80 km) column of military vehicles on the highway went viral, after the poster claimed they were heading into the capital Beijing, although there’s no way to tell from the short video where or when it was taken, or even that the column was actually 50 miles long.
Newsmax interviewed “China expert” Gordon Chang for the story. Chang admitted there were unusual events in the communist country, noting that the military controls Chinese airspace, so the cancellations were probably military-based. He also noted the reports of bus and train cancellations, and the viral video. He said while there was no way to tell if President Xi had been deposed by the military, but SOMETHING must be “terribly wrong.”
It’s true there’s a lot going on in high-level Chinese politics at the moment. Xi recently jailed three top CCP members, and is facing imminent re-appointment to a historically unprecedented third term, for two examples. Xi also just returned from the meeting in Samarkand with president Putin, where Xi reportedly showed tepid support for the Russians.
Commercial flight tracking services do appear to show a military no-fly zone north of Beijing. Why?
