I can’t even finish reading. My soul aches.

I stand against this evil in the all-powerful name of Jesus Christ. I condemn this wickedness and cast it back to hell where it came from. I claim the power of the cross and the resurrection over our families, over the minds of our children, and ask the Lord to destroy those who commit these wicked acts. I pray that the Lord will intervene in every life teetering on the edge of destruction and bring hope and healing to their minds and hearts and souls. I pray that He will restore what the locusts have eaten in every life affected by these monsters. I stand against the deception, greed, and lust that fuel these barbaric acts. Jesus, help us. Please.

I just want to cry. I know the destruction. My close friend lost her son to transgender BS. Unfortunately, in an attempt to keep her relationship with her son she got on board and celebrated his new womanhood. 🤮 That friendship hangs on by a thread because I refuse to refer to him as “she” and call him by his made up female name. Well, three years later my once close friend has now lost her young 15 yr old daughter to the abusive system and she now proclaims to be a boy. Go figure. My friend won’t even tell me it’s happening. I found out on social media. Her lips are sealed on the matter.

When you condone and celebrate such atrocities don’t be surprised when the young ones watching think it’s ok for them to do too. My friend is living proof of the consequences of her celebrating this BS.

The older one has done this genius mutilation to his body. It makes me want to vomit. I’m so sickened by these horrible choices and the torture they are putting themselves through. It is so incredibly destructive. Please Jesus, help us.

I live in an area full of progressives loons, who believe this crap, and complacent sheeple. God forbid they stand up or show moral fortitude. Instead they go along and you can see them and their families slowly descend into to the evil abyss. Even the ones who profess faith. It's the shallow nominal kind of faith. They are rudderless and now Satan is steering them to their end.

Expand full comment
Sunnydaze's avatar

Yes! My friend also professes faith in Jesus. She didn’t like when I challenged her with a simple question, “Does God make mistakes when he forms and chooses a persons gender at and before birth?” The Bible says He formed us in the womb. Etc etc. She said God doesn’t make mistakes but that’s not what this is. 🙄 Then proceeded to justify what her son was doing. Honestly, I know she was trying to preserve her relationship with her son. Unfortunately, he has since backed away from their relationship anyway. So now she’s lost her son to his new found pretend womanhood, and he’s swirling around without a rudder in that abyss, alone. And she just lost her daughter to this BS. So.

The Satanic answer to this one is now in our face ... daily.

I’ve passed this on… with disclaimers and trepidation. It is too horrific to start the day with.

My daughter was abused by her grandfather whose idea of love was sick. He was a pedophile. I stopped it as soon as I knew about it - she was 2 and too young to be a good witness, so he was never arrested. My ex called it “a little fondling.”

These poor kids who are so messed up that they think transgender is the answer need help, not more abuse with surgeries that never work.

I agree and the middle school is riddled with the trans agenda and students who have decided they are trans. How am I going to get my 10yo daughter to adulthood? I’m sending her to a good faith based school and taking her to church! She loves it! Why add this whole mess to the stress of growing up. Kids are already confused with raging hormones and very vulnerable! What they need is affirming care in the sense that this is all normal to feel confused and to keep pressing on towards adulthood, not an expensive and painful “way out” and affirmation of something they aren’t. ❤️‍🩹

Agree, much prayer is needed to realign this world with God’s will. And it is also clear that we are expected to seek understanding and proper interpretation of what is going on in this world as best we can:

* Luke 12:54-56 (NIV) = church people chastised by Jesus for not being aware

* Matthew 16:1-3 (NIV) = church leaders chastised by Jesus for not being aware

* John 8:32 (NIV) = truth is what protects us from slavery per Jesus

And to this end, the widespread, and seemingly disconnected, badness’s being seen in America/world – a source of much confusion, distraction, and anxiety -- can be better understood and dealt with when viewed in the light of “communist subversion” guided by foreign actors. A KGB defector brings clarity to what underlies our current situation, and describes the required remedy in this 4.4-mins (59:00-1:03:23) of his 1983 lecture ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y9TviIuXPSE&t=18s )

By corrupting some American leaders, our enemies are using our schools, churches, labor unions, organizations (eg, ACLU, BLM, etc), and govt officials to divide us by exploiting existing cracks in our society, as a result of “communist subversion” guided by foreign actors. Target is the foundation of America -- its basis and moral standards from Mosaic Law – established by our founding fathers so long ago.

Given this, why is it that there is so much talk/effort focused on the symptoms of this subversion, rather than on revealing, reversing, and preventing the underlying root causes? Largely the reason is as noted in this 20-secs (4:42-5:02) of Harvard student’s senior speech ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xtv8XtjzdA ). Great hope comes from a person so young being so wise on this and all the other insights in her speech! The shame is on us!

Folks this is going on in Idaho, one of the most conservative states in the country. Trump won there by 30 points in 2020 for crying out loud. How much worse do you think it is in Arizona, Missouri, or Indiana? Or, God forbid, New York or California?

I don't say this lightly, and am not trying to make people feel guilty but to wake them up; if your kids are still in public schools then this is what they are getting. You can't wait 5-10 years hoping Chris Rufo succeeds while in the meantime your kids are being fed this crap. For the Christians out there, do you want to stand before Jesus and account for this at the end of your life? When Christ asks, "Why did you leave the children I entrusted to you in this school when you knew people there were deliberately trying to pull them into sin" how are you going to answer?

Sounding like a broken record on this but we have to stop feeding our kids into this life-destroying system. Withdraw from the 401k, take a second on the home, or tell the grandparents it's their time to pony up, but you have to do something now.

This, as well as the failure on the purely academic front, is why we need to advocate strongly for universal school choice (school choice for all, not just the wealthy). Students currently trapped in government schools will not be saved by adding a conservative or two to the School Board; any good that comes will be far too late, and also too changeable, depending on the fickle electorate, whose attention will eventually be directed elsewhere, whereas the teachers' unions will not. As one such school choice advocate, Corey DeAngelis, says, as have others before him, the per-student dollars currently allocated to government schools should be made available to families for any legitimate school expense, including homeschooling, private school, or microschooling, as well as for purchase of curriculae, supplies, etc.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Completely agree but all this takes time. My concern is that parents continue to leave their kids in this system while hoping for school choice down the road. In the meantime years of incredibly deranged indoctrination take their toll.

Work to change the system but protect your kids *now*. I know it's expensive and requires sacrifice (I'm there myself with two boys in a private Bible-based high school) but what other choice do parents have? There are also less expensive alternatives such as home schooling co-ops. There is no justification to leaving kids in this system while waiting for change. In all likelihood it will get worse before it gets better, assuming it ever does get better.

Haha, I dunno. You may have started a math curriculum discussion.

Our kiddo used Saxon in traditional school setting, and it worked fine until it didn’t. He needs to see the big picture first before learning all the parts. He went from math being his favorite subject in second grade to thinking that “God didn’t make me for math” by mid-year third grade. Of course, that was most certainly NOT all Saxon’s fault. The teacher also had something to do with it.

Anyway, he would break out in hives if I tried to drag him back to Saxon. Haha.

We’ve done a couple of different things over the last couple of years as I have tried to (1) renew his joy of learning and (2) rebuild his confidence in math and (3) actually have him learn math, lol.

We started Math U See this academic year, and so far so good. I prayed a lot about it end of last year, and researched a lot, and for us for now, this seemed the best fit.

For kids with learning disabilities, I recommend checking out WoodinMath.com and looking over his free curriculum bank online. If he had his stuff in a book form, we probably would have continued with that.

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

That's good to know. I did observe Saxon being used in a traditional school setting and apparently the teachers didn't like it because it did not fit into their style of teaching. I call that the spoon fed method. Saxon's comments on how to teach math is illustrative. Basically math is like piano, lots and lots of repetition. I didn't try to teach it. I used Saxon on a self-study basis that I only reviewed. When I saw my son getting stuck on a particular concept, we would take a break and not advance to the next lesson. Instead, we went to the back of the book for more problems of the same type he was having issues with and would practice them until the light bulb came on. Then he would advance. After a year or so of this, self study became automatic and the error rate dropped to almost zero. When they hit college, they couldn't understand why all their classmates were complaining and having a difficult time. College was no different than the way they had been learning at home.

Expand full comment
Copernicus's avatar

Ours doesn’t learn well with drill and kill. 🤷‍♀️ Not to say that repetition is not important. But for him, for right now, that is not sufficient for learning.

But definitely Saxon worked well for your kiddo and it has worked well for many others! Glad you had a good program for your kids!

It is everywhere, not just in blue states or big city school districts. The activists are in control and the supposed "good" people are too cowardly to challenge it. They are far more worried about being called a homophobe or losing their pension than they are about the well-being of our kids.

Your story is nearly identical to ours, this stuff came on fast. We're in a conservative district (albeit in California) and were generally pretty happy with the elementary school and even middle school education. We were actively involved in both schools, knew the staff, and my wife even volunteered and ran art projects at the schools.

My oldest started high school in 2019 and almost immediately he came hope spouting nonsense. It was after he stated "Jesus never spoke against homosexuality" my antenna really perked up. Two weeks later there was an incident with a highly inappropriate group text and we pulled him out immediately. It was only three months into the school year but we had seen enough. My younger son followed after the school year finished.

Looking back I see the hand of God all over it. For some reason, there was zero hesitation to remove him from either of us despite our history with the district. We both felt compelled to get him out immediately as if God commanded us to do it.

We are so thankful we found a small Bible-centered Christian high school that walks the walk. At orientation the principal stated that his vow to parents was that our kids would *never* be taught anything contrary to God's word. He's kept that promise. God led us to this school and we could not be more thankful. Over the past few years the horror stories coming out of our district schools have exploded, even down to the middle and elementary school levels. It's as-if they were suddenly demon possessed.

here's the problem with banning books: the second you ban them, they end up on the banned books table. there's one in every library and every bookstore (assuming you can find a bookstore). what are some of those books? simply the best books ever written: the handmaid's tale. 1984. fahrenheit 451. and the most banned book of alltime: the bible.

something tells me that porn doesn't belong on the same table as the bible.

the way around a book ban - which always backfires and creates a streisand effect - is to come up with a no-buy list. the crt and groomer agenda is being advanced by a very small number of publishers. ban all purchases of any of their products and you solve the problem without getting into first amendment issues.

and until then, who's going to complain if some of the problematic publications should grow feet and mysteriously make their way from the shelves to the dumpster? it wouldn't take a large army of motivated kids and teachers to make the problem go away quietly.

Interesting. I’ve been wondering about this, as we’re in a similar fight in my state. We have a fantastic parent group leading the fight - but being accused of “book burning.” They literally just want them removed from school libraries, not the community library. Or the bookstore. Get your filth on your own time, just not at school where it masquerades as education. I’ve also wondered why we couldn’t just quietly check some books out and just make sure they never make it back. We can’t possibly be afraid of the terrible condescending library dictator-I-mean-director.

Dana's avatar

I do this regularly. It usually takes them a few months to send enough overdue notices & then I just pay for the cost of the filthy book. I figure that by the time they realize it’s no longer on the shelf, they’ve hopefully moved on & if not, at least it’s stayed out of a child’s hands for a while. My little act of activism from my small corner of the world. We can all do something to fight this war.

Regarding the "book burning" smear it only has power over us if we let them. So what if someone calls it book burning? The proper response it to publicly describe the graphic images being shown children and say something like, "you're damn right, this book should be burned!"

The right's big problem is that we let the left define the terms of the argument, rather than rejecting it and laughing in their face. We let the left use our own morality against us. The left is happy to burn books they don't like, but we let them shame us when we raise objections to pornography in school. It's a real problem that we have to fix ASAP.

One thing I've learned in life is that when someone who does not share my religious/moral beliefs attempts to use them against me, it is *always* in bad faith. Period, end of story. Don't let people make you feel guilty or cowed when they would never feel guilty over the same thing.

I agree with you, and this seriously shouldn't be that hard. Our society has had movie ratings and limitations of obscenity and vulgarity on public radio and TV for decades!

Give the damn books a rating like G, PG, PG-13, and R. The vast majority of books being objected to are in the PG-13 and R category. Children should not be reading explicit rape/sex narratives whether or not it was written by Toni Morisson.

However, when the chance came up to be on the “book approval committee” at my daughter‘s high school, I jumped at it. I will say this: the way this school gingerly went about evaluating the book we talked about the other day, I’m gonna say that schools are getting the message.

School libraries are one thing. Stealing them from your citty's public library is something else. At that point maybe you need to teach your children what they're allowed to read. You need to make sure they follow your rules. There are adults who frequent the public library and, whether you like it or not, they can read anything they please. Christian or not, the morality police don't cut it with me any more than the regular Gestapo does.

I'd bet that most of those 'banned books' aren't banned anywhere, but rather the photos are part of the propaganda, to make the conservative side look loony. The photos and displays never include the child porn books that are the actual targets. Here, for example, is an excellent news article from April about the specific books that Florida parents' groups have asked to be reviewed or pulled, by county, along with the outcome, if it were available at press time. See how many are Great Books literature:

I think these kids are depressed, anxious, neurodiverse, and experiencing problems from hormone disruption. I've seen the medical records and these doctors are not checking hormone levels nor for any other medical causes. I think it's criminal to make them believe the grass is greener on the other side. It's false hope and once they get to the other side they still have all the same problems because the root cause was not found nor treated. They deserve better medical care.

1/6/21 was an honest mistake made by some honest patriots in trusting the Feral Gov. It won't happen again, the Trust is Gone. Many of us didn't have any in the first place. Too many Betrayals, too much water under the bridge going back to Waco & Ruby Ridge and just continuing from there. Jeff, I am in Idaho and can tell you that Governor Little has been an absolute disappointment. We were the first state to arrest a pastor for holding an outdoor church service during covid and arrest a mother for taking her child to a PUBLIC PARK! He stands by and watches as the state is overrun by corruption and corporate interests. Then we had vaccine mandates leading to job loss and healthcare worker shortages with no action from Little. Most recently he held a special session and unconstitutionally drafted a bill with more than one subject area. Giving massive amounts of money to public schools while telling conservatives he was giving them a tax break. A few legislators called out the unconstitutionality of the bill and the fact that his role is not to draft bills for legislators to rubber stamping. So I propose you look into our only hope for correcting course in the next election. Ammon Bundy has gotten a bad reputation by way of media misinformation. He has never been convicted of a violent crime, but has stood for the rights of his family and total strangers. He is endorsed by Ron Paul and Pete Santilli. Please, consider doing a multiplier for him. I have done my homework and can tell you Little is train wreck and Bundy can help correct course.
