Commotio cordis? Lol. Thanks for stating all of the reasons why that theory is ridiculous.

Dr. McCullough was on Tucker last night, and Tucker did a good segment on the NFL player collapse. The most interesting tidbit was the statistics of European athletic association wrt on-field collapses. Prior to 2020, the avg was 29 per year. Since 2021, there have been 1500. Here is link to video clip. https://twitter.com/missyakern/status/1610629240562515968?s=20&t=wzeYeJrNXnl596rZcqnFEA

What's really interesting is that the commotio codis talking points seemed to go out pretty quickly with the usual suspects all posting the same diagnosis and graphic (the same one Jeff posted). This for an incredibly rare condition (less than 20/year) that as Jeff points out doesn't match the evidence. Yet it instantly became the cause and of course that was also followed by condemnation of anyone who questioned the new official narrative.

If I was a soulless pharma exec (or an FDA or CDC honcho) I'd be very concerned by how this is going to play out. Millions of people saw it and everyone is talking about it. While people may not say it out loud, they are thinking it. Rasmussen's polling data and the the public's rejection of the new bivalent vaccine show that the public have formed a very negative opinion of the vax. Claiming "we know it can't be caused by the vax and you aren't even allowed to think it" won't fly this time.

Prayers up for Damar and his family, such an awful tragedy that never should have happened.

Funny, a few of my medical friends had the same diagnosis… was not commotio cordis or jab injury but COVID itself! What happened to Hamlin was a direct result of being infected by the virus… COVID causes heart problems, not the jab, not CC… And that leads to the unvaxxed again being at fault because our non participation is killing others. Hamlin being vaxxed is not a factor- it’s that damn deadly virus continuing to kill more people so in turn we need more vaccinations 🤪

I had hoped this terrible, public incident would be an awakening for those still drinking the Kool aid but it just shows that they will continue to spin things to fit their narrative. Why can’t people just admit that they were wrong, this has all been wrong?! That’s the million dollar question. As Elon Musk said, “The woke mind virus is either defeated or nothing else matters”.

Expand full comment

I thinks it's old-fashioned denial, people are pretty predictable. The thought that you poisoned yourself, your kids, and your patients has to be overwhelming. It's so much easier to just reject it outright regardless of the evidence.

Have you noticed a couple of high-profile people supposedly on our side pushing the "young, healthy people drop dead all the time" narrative? Cernovich is one of the biggest but there are several others. I doubt Cerno is vaxxed but he did push the vax for older and out-of-shape people based on the advice of Dr. Peter Attia. Obviously I can't read his mind but reconciling that with people dropping dead likely leads to cognitive dissonance. So denial sets in.

It's a useful defense mechanism as old as time itself that allows us to continue to function in the midst of horrible events around us. However, it can also be terribly self-destructive if not properly channeled.

Expand full comment

“The thought that you poisoned yourself, your kids, and your patients has to be overwhelming. It's so much easier to just reject it outright regardless of the evidence.”

Exactly right! And why the majority of Covidians will fight the truth until, they too, are struck down by it.

Expand full comment

Exactly. They not only did it to themselves, but coerced others to hurt themselves with the jab. As more truth comes out, notice the look on these peoples faces when they run into you again months or years later. The ones who were hateful about it and bragged about having convinced their skeptical friends to take it. The scared look on their face because now they know you could rightfully throw “I told you so” in their face. But you don’t, because there is nothing happy about the situation at all. I wish I had been wrong.

I am vaxxed but not boosted. I regret my decision, and told my husband I was sorry for setting up our appointments. I never encouraged anyone to vaccinate. I was always against mandates, passports, etc. I am sure there are many others like me out there, who learned too late they had been lied to, and vowed not to be fooled again. Please don't lump all the vaccinated with the harmful and hateful BranchCovidians.

I fully believe in cognitive dissonance. However, I also think its good ‘ol fashioned pride. Nobody except a humble person wants to (or will) admit they were wrong. Especially when it compromises/questions their professionalism, skill, or whether they love their family.

Agree 100%. How many times does the Bible condemn pride (aka a haughty spirit)? I have no idea of the exact count but it's a lot and for good reason.

Off topic, but the entire homosexual movement has wrapped itself around the word "pride". It's everywhere. Not a coincidence.

Expand full comment

Wow. I never made that connection Jeff but excellent. Not a coincidence

Expand full comment

Yes, I agree!

Expand full comment

I have some pro-vax friends trying to admit they were wrong by saying "the science is changing"

Expand full comment

Science is a process which is all about new information that replaces old theories. However, the process is what changed. Instead of allowing proper discussion, debate, challenges, discovery, postulates from all relevant points of view including the continued questioning the sanity of the safety of rapid "warp speed" deployment of an unproven treatment, (like they were doing while Trump was in office), instead they forcibly stopped using scientific methods for discovery and replaced it with what was done to Galileo, forcibly punishing heretical hypothesis.

Expand full comment

Yeah that is such a bs “explanation.” The science didn’t change, the propaganda is just no longer working because of people’s real life experiences, so they had to adapt the narrative.

Expand full comment

Well, if it makes them feel okay about what they have done. We know it's just another lame excuse though.

It's possible to take pride in being open-minded enough to be open to the possibility of being wrong. I like to think that I'm that sort of person.

Expand full comment

People don't know WHAT or WHO to believe. They've always trusted and believed doctors and others in our health care system, and it seems inconceivable that these people would either be ignorant of the dangers or lying about it all. So when a lot of us have a contrary opinion about it, people feel they have to choose between trained medical personnel and a group of ordinary people. I can see why it's confusing. My brother recovered from prostate cancer 14 years ago, and he was frightened very early on and convinced by what he heard and read that he really needed protection from covid. Until very recently, he just wouldn't listen to me and he dismissed my sources since they weren't the sources (MSM etc.) that he relied on. He got two shots and one booster, but seems convinced at this point to get no more. I don't really know why he changed his thinking, possibly all the articles from good people that I kept sending him had an influence, but it's a discussion we don't have because I suspect he doesn't want to admit how very wrong he was or that "his" media misled and lied to him.

Expand full comment

So the word prides equates to "doom" 👿

Expand full comment

It’s similar to the justifications that many mothers use to justify female genital mutilation. They deny how much harm it does and emphasize the so called benefits. They won’t admit they contributed to harming their own child.

Expand full comment

Covid? This is laughable just on the surface of it. During the Fake-demic, were not all doctors and hospitals being 'coached' by Officialdom to attribute to covid just about ANY and ALL deaths recorded on death certificates? This further pumped up the fake figures and thus further terrorized the general population into sheep-like compliance.

He was on a list of Bills players who couldn’t play due to illness a few weeks ago, thus the speculation it could have been Covid-related. But if the jabs are effective, why did he get Covid at all and why didn’t they prevent him from having complications? Regardless, the jab is the problem. It either caused the condition (likely) or it allowed him to get sick enough to develop heart inflammation after Covid. Thus the jabs are not “safe and effective” and should be pulled from the market.

Expand full comment

There is some understanding by the medical community that one shouldn't go out and play high intensity sports immediately after the innoculation. I'm certain the medical staff for the football club would ensure the players don't immediately play for a few days to a week afterwards. The problem is that they are helpless with keeping players away for too long as it would raise suspicions plus the players are requured to play and win the games. Can you see a pattern of "sick players" that had to not play, suggesting they rotated innoculations throughout the team to prevent a massive number from "illness" all at once?

CitizenA, M2,

I unplugged the TV years ago so don't watch any MSM, instead relying on sites such as this for news and commentary. That said, even if Gutfeld was upset his jabs may have impacted his future health it was uncalled for to angrily denigrate those that have seen evidence of their damage and speak out about it to warn others. He went with the narrative that anything negative about the jabs have been DEBUNKED! That is not ethical to make such a wild claim.

Expand full comment

First, I hope Hamlin somehow recovers. It's speculation at this point to 100% blame vax or commotio cordis, or anything else. We can only deal in statistical probabilities. I have been aware of and tuned into commotio cordis for over 45 years as a lacrosse player, long time coach, fan and father of a son who played goalie for 12 years. I recall maybe 4-5 players from memory that died this way in all those years. And remember, a lacrosse ball can be thrown over 70mph even by a teenager (over 100mph by a college athlete). Its very rare! It has always been due to a hit with a high speed ball, or fist(in the case of martial arts). So maybe CC happened here, but even a standard heart attack is more statistically probable. If it is a heart attack, what causes that in a top athlete? Historically, previously unknown genetic defect has been to blame, but in the last two years, we know the C19 injections can and do cause heart inflammation in some people and can contribute to heart failure.

We will sadly probably never know the full truth in this case.

Expand full comment

Well this was football not a lacrosse ball or baseball. If you look closely at the tackle he did not suffer severe trauma to the chest. If he was stricken with commotio cordis he would never have been able to get up and walk around before collapsing. We need to stop sugar coating what is happening to people because of these shots. These monsters are allowing people to die or disabled for life so they can make money and roll out more and more of these deadly gene altering shots. The WHO has set forward the goal of rolling out FIVE HUNDRED vaccines by 2030. Look it up. And NO we will never know the full story because these beasts of prey put dollars before human life. WOW, so sorry to hear about your nephew. My nephew who is 35 got the JAB and Boosters. After reading about your nephew. I now am concerned about mine. Did your

nephew take the JAB and Boosters? My nephew's mother in law passed away recently, Dec 28, 2022. She was 71 and an insulin diabetic. She took

the JAB and Boosters. In September, her Doctor said she had pancreatic cancer and gave

her around 4 months to live. Of course, my Family, who took the JAB want to hear nothing about that the vaccine could have attributed to her prognosis. I would really like to know what your Sister finds out. Tell her to keep searching until she gets the answers.

He took the first 2 shots and I'm not sure about boosters. It's a sensitive topic, especially with his wife, and my sister is still reeling from the loss of her son (and only child). His wife is a CNA and her mother is an RN who were both pro-jab. Along with that, he was employed by a company that either mandated the shots or, strongly encouraged them. I've only brought up the subject of the shots when my sister has directly asked me for my opinion. Otherwise, I avoid it because at this point, I don't see a benefit to it. After his autopsy was released to her, she had questions and one of those questions was jab related. She quickly found out that communication with an ME isn't as easy as picking up the phone or walking into his/her office. Everything has to be via a written & documented process and it's a very slow process.

Expand full comment

Did your sister think of getting an attorney? I'm sure it's hard to get his medical records.

My girlfriend's daughter was harassed at work by HR to get the JAB. She held her ground and said, if that's the case, let me know, because I will look for another job. She is in her

30's. I was so proud of her. My Dentist told me that his daughter wouldn't get the JAB.

She is a Nurse and with a group filed an exemption which was accepted by Advent Health here near Orlando, FL. She was pregnant, too. His Son is totally different. His wife and her Family took the JAB and so did he. My Dentist is against the JAB.

The amount of comments yesterday were wild. The discussion IS happening regarding this football player. On other sites, however there are still a fair amount of people who will not even entertain the notion it was not a hit that caused this. I will say though, I was encouraged by the much higher numbers of people commenting that it was not the hit but rather vax injury.

So, thank you Jeff for the very valid and researched explanation of the media’s once again false narrative to cover the a$$ of big pharma and govt.

I do wish him and his family well as they deal with such a tragic event that should have never happened in the first place. Personally I would like to see them sue the NFL for forcing him to get the jab. 🤷‍♀️ Wouldn't that speak to the masses. I won’t hold my breath though.

Expand full comment

Yes, I would also like to see a lawsuit. In addition, if he sadly does not survive, I hope the family will insist on an autopsy. Stop the killing!

Expand full comment

Sunnydaze, It is my understanding that a typical autopsy does not necessarily reveal spike-induced injury. (Although, amyloid clots are evident.) Special tests have to be done to discover spike injury. The dermatology study that Jeff referenced on 12/29/22 ( https://twitter.com/hirt_benjamin/status/1604445123709894657?s=20&t=4Kq4L3IsoDgm_9Tff-HvGg ) used special tests to find the spike in the necrotic tissue. Ryan Cole, MD (Idaho) is a great resource on autopsy techniques to discover spike.

Yes. If certain tests aren’t done —nothing is known. Nice can of worms the criminals have welded shut.

Having just recently logged onto twitter for the first time just watch the tide turn, I have noticed a few things: On topics such as covid and shots, there are always swarms of trolls and bots that show up but they are of low quality. They use the similar tactics, and even words and phrases implying that they use the same "3 ring binder". I've been watching these types of things for nigh on 20 years, they are easy to spot. So the "You are disgusting even SUGGESTING that at a time like this" is primarily driven by desire to derail not just conversation, but even attention paid to that perspective. As I mentioned before, these voices are common on the interwebz but not so much in real life. I believe this is because more and more people know someone who is "vaxx-injured" and are beginning to ask more questions.

Expand full comment

Yep, that's the argument. It's wrong to ask vax status on someone who may or has died, but it was perfectly fine for these same people to demand vax status for you to be employed, go anywhere, or do anything...

I too saw the comments on Twitter about it being disgusting and immoral to question the jabs now at a time like this. No, we should just focus on the person who has been shot and pray for them and leave the killer be.

It's absurd for medical professionals to completely dismiss vaccine injury, without even knowing! A simple good search for "college football player suddenly dies" will bring up countless results, which has never seen before. This one just happened to occur on live TV with over 13 million people watching. Hopefully, other athletes will wake up and publicly push for truth and justice. Until then, we should not stay quiet.

Let's say McCarthy becomes SotH after this "berserk" battle. Will Jan 6 files be released? No. Will the House hold the DoJ accountable for their unconstitutional actions? No. Will the FDA and CDC he held accountable for their crimes against humanity? No. Will the House push legislation protecting children and protecting parent's rights? No. Will McCarthy do ANYTHING most Republican voters want done? NO.

Will the house under McCarthy be any different than the House under Jeffries? No. (McCarthy's a Californian - DUH)

So why bother?

In the end, McCarthy will probably get the gavel and in 2 years and 4 years Republican voters will again be playing Charlie Brown to RINOs playing Lucy pulling the football away. And Republicans in the House will have compromised away more and more and more of our freedoms and principles. And Democrats will be ecstatic.

It is why I refuse to get involved in any talk of 2024. Why has there been no mention of Kari Lakes lawsuit being tossed by the judge after “kindly allowing” two days of testimony. Did any of us believe it would go forward? Does anyone believe a true conservative can win a presidential or Governor’s election after what we have seen in states such as Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, (are we supposed to seriously believe Fettermen won and that anyone would vote for someone like him?)? Michigan now has permanent voting laws in place that mean there will never be another election of the people of this state. Not one election steal from 2020 was addressed in any of the swing states and most of those are permanently in the blue column now. A Republican will never win again in a general election, unless it is deemed necessary to keep the illusion alive.

As a Californian myself we're not all crazy, and McCarthy is from Bakersfield not San Francisco. You could not have two more different areas.

That being said, McCarthy is beholden to the GOP donor class and cares far more about what they think than what we think. He's an old fashioned crony capitalist, not a left-wing lunatic.

I did find it strange that Jeff called this speaker battle "berserk". I find the continual coronation of corrupt toadies to lead the party berserk and this battle refreshing. It will likely fail but it's a shot across the bow that it's no more business as usual.

Expand full comment

Jeff, I find it refreshing too. I’m also a Californian and I think that this battle although futile, is great. I rarely turn on Fox News but I did yesterday for a brief time and it was rather amusing to me to listen to Ronna McDaniel complaining about how embarrassing it all is, and how they are being held back from ‘doing the work for the American people.’ Well, perhaps the hold outs are trying to do something for the American people. Did anyone consider that to be the case? I say let them work it out, and if it’s messy, so be it. It’s good for them to do a little work, and Republicans might learn a thing or two from this. Ultimately, nothing major will come out of this fight anyway, and business as usual will resume.

Marsali, I agree...although I do watch Fox more than I should, but yesterday I did something I have never done before, i CALLED Fox News and on the recorded line for comments I told them to tell the hosts and the elite politicians to be quiet about what is happening with the vote for Speaker. I told them I am a voter and I do not trust McCarthy and agree we need new leadership and there are a lot of my Republican friends that feel the same. I do not know if they will care but I was so mad that they presumed to speak for me about what I think about what is going on I had to do something!! I am not embarrassed by this, I am so grateful there is a democratic process that allows for different views to be seen and heard!

Expand full comment

Exactly. As far as I can tell, the whole election process is nothing but a 3 ring circus with pre-determined outcomes that have NOTHING to do with the decisions of the voters. Try to convince me we are free. Without choice there is no freedom.

Expand full comment

I felt guilty for not adding the upside so I'm adding this. Freedom is what we make of it. We've lost the Fed Gov't to a Marxist coup but we still have relative freedom though they are systematically tightening their control. What has restrained them is the republican structure of this country as designed by the Founding Fathers. The founding fathers were not wise old men. They were young, aggressive revolutionaries knowledgeable in the Bible (specifically Biblical law and the nature of grace), history and British common law. There are few who are their equal today. In faith, they put their lives, their families' lives and their fortunes on the line. They understood the depraved nature of man and that any central government would attract narcissistic sociopaths and could once more become the enemy of free Americans. So they designed an out for us or a redoubt against tyranny. Rather than a top down, monolithic government, they set up a hierarchical system of representative government (such as the system God gave to Moses to govern the people). The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution established that all power (rights) comes from God and resides with the people. That was the key revolutionary point in history up to this time. The Federal Gov't only had such power as was specifically delegated to it in the Constitution by the States with the CONSENT OF THE CITIZENS. All powers not specifically delegated to the Fed Gov't were reserved to the individual States and their citizens. Additionally, government was further broken down into a hierarchical representative structure of counties and cities. The point to realize here is that power comes from the bottom up, not from the top down; that all power is from God to the individual. (The caveat here is that this system presupposes a Christian citizenry as Ben Franklin told us.)

What the founding fathers gave us was a structure and a road map for resisting tyranny. In the event the Fed Gov't becomes tyrannical, the individual States become our redoubt. Currently, the Fed Gov't and many of the blue states and cities have been captured by the Marxists. Based on current surveys, the American population is evenly split with half of Americans ideologically in the Woke camp. There is a mass migration going on where families desirous of liberty are moving to the liberty states and those who want to be "free" to practice Wokeism are moving to the blue states. My guess is that the productive elements of society, families and corporations, are the ones moving to the liberty states. Between their socialist/woke spending policies and their unproductive citizenry, the blue states are going broke and must increasingly rely on support from the Federal gov't which can tax the productive states as well as print money out of thin air. At some point, between the increasing Fed tyranny and the increasing taxation, the liberty states will have to divorce themselves from the Fed Gov't and the blue states out of pure self-preservation.

This is the road map the founding fathers built in for us to use to resist tyranny. The States are our last line of defense. Remember, all power is reserved to the States. They are our redoubt against the Fed zombie mob. (Now I know why all those zombie movies were made.)

The Great Divide is already in motion though few yet recognize it. As the American population continues to divide itself, the division between free states and Woke states and the Fed gov't will exacerbate. I have no idea how this will resolve. As I said, freedom is what we make of it.

A couple of points: The county structure is illustrative of this process. Many counties in both Oregon and California are beginning movements to leave those states because they are incompatible with the Woke state governments. I have heard that the Oregon movement is desirous to join with Idaho and the CA movement wants to form a separate state. This is the Great Divide manifesting at the county and state level. These are serious movements.

Second point: This has all happened once before in different circumstances in 1860. In that case, the liberty movement lost. The Lincoln Federal Gov't declared war on half of America and for four long years Americans suffered the most horrific carnage America has ever seen. The reason for the "divide" was roughly the same as today; onerous taxation by the Fed Gov't on the most productive half of the country. Slavery was the EXCUSE (as the Feds have always done since when they want to get into a new war) Lincoln used to wage war on half of America. The victors write the history books.

He was in the end stages of Alzheimer's and naturally, his heart was affected, among other health issues. They hounded us relentlessly trying to get us to agree to a pacemaker. Why?? Even if it kept him alive, it would have zero effect on the Alzheimer's and other health issues. We privately spoke with several nurses and hospice nurses for their take on it and every single one of them advised against it. A few of them even told us horror stories of patients they had in the past where the patient was completely comatose but being kept alive by a pacemaker. Families having to go to court to get the pacemaker turned off. It was a hard decision to make but looking back at it, I think it was a money grab (he had great retirement health insurance plus medicare).
