You guys! I was listening to the Mike Rowe podcast (the Dirty Jobs guy) that dropped this morning while I was getting dressed and such, and he mentioned that he started reading this guy, Jeff Childers!

He spent several minutes talking about one of Jeff’s recent columns and what he said, and how well he said it. Wow, Jeff’s really getting around. I was so surprised when Jeff’s name popped out but also… we all know how awesome Jeff is and I’m glad other people are figuring it out.

My friends and family are always asking where do you get your news from. I gladly tell them about Jeff and Coffee and COVID. Great resource!! As my first act of righteous anger I’m now a monthly contributor $$ to TPUSA. We have a chapter here in Knoxville to volunteer with, but with my mature age I felt a monthly donation may be best. I will continue to pray for our children as they are Satan’s main target.

Agree. But the chapters are vetted at the ground level. We had a HS field rep speak at our R women's meeting yesterday. She said 2 of her chapters held their first meetings of the school year on Friday and that both saw an increase of over 50 kids in attendance.

Given that most of the Chapters here have come with a lot of bashing by the left, stepping up and attending is 'risky' for these kids. They came anyway. She is in talks with a teacher who has stepped up to lead a chapter in one of our local HS and has at least a dozen students who have already stepped up willing to join.

This is huge! The last time our district tried to launch a TPUSA chapter at one of the high schools there was practically a riot where furniture was broken and the room was trashed. Made the Daily Wire. https://www.dailywire.com/news/high-school-students-disrupt-tpusa-event-with-jeers-taunts-smash-glass-table What happened next? Nothing. The teachers sponsoring the group backed down and no others stepped forward. If the kids who rioted got consequences, they were little more than a slap on the wrist. The young woman who led the effort worked for TPUSA briefly in college and is now a staffer for a member of Congress in Southern MO.

Just saying, anyone here who steps up is not going to be a plant - they are walking into the lion's den.

Expand full comment
Lori's avatar

So good to see the enthusiasm to start more chapters and increased attendance. Does the heart good. Makes me wish I was in high school again to take part as a student. Good to know you are confident no one will be a plant and I hope you are right. We will keep these young men and women in our prayers that God continues to shine their lights in this world and their parents too. They know what their kids could face and bravely let them try to make a difference in places that are antagonistic.

Hard to believe that a semi riot occurred at that high school. The more and more clear it becomes to me that evil will find a way to cause mayhem no matter what venue. I do not think it suprises any of us that a slap on the hand was thought a just consequence.

Well this good news has made my day and I thank you for that. Stay safe and healthy Donna.

After a few years of getting the free C& C email, I decided to dump my 45 years of WSJ subscriptions. It has become a liberal rag. That more than freed up the funds to subscribe to C& C. I, rightly, said that Mr. Childers has made such a differnce in our lives (and many others), he deserves my financial support. C&C's arrival each day is now a highlight. I read it like an anchorwoman to my better half. He sits enjoying the show. I've become good at getting through all the multi syllable words on the fly.

Another “mature” C&C reader here in Lebanon, TN. I’m a bit surprised that Mike Rowe wasn’t aware of Jeff, but am thrilled that he is now.

Charlie was the age of our sons. This hit HARD. I’m crying again as I write this. We’ve watched and listened to him since the very beginning. I’m heartbroken for his family, his friends and the entire world, but mostly for the generations that will grow up without him. He was a once-in-a-lifetime talent. As much as I detest social media and the digital spaces, I’m grateful that through that media Charlie will live on. Kids who weren’t familiar with him are watching his videos and listening to his podcasts. My hope is that leaders in that age group will learn and emulate what Charlie aspired to. He can’t be replaced, but he can inspire and teach.

I ordered my husband the same Tshirt that Charlie was wearing the day he was murdered from his podcast website https://thecharliekirkshowstore.com/collections/tees as a way to support TPUSA, but I really like the idea of a monthly subscription. Thanks for the suggestion. 🙏🏼

Yes, Charlie was a gifted anomaly, but while, speaking for myself, cant keep up with the younger set physically and in technology, I can lend a presence of age and stability. I had completely forgotten about the 'god voice' to skull technology which makes perfect sense as to how a presumed patsy was or could be controlled. This technology has been around for a long now. It's real. And therefore the assertion of patsy control by technological means is credible. And ViaVeritasVita's comment about the pistol being an aluminium frame clears up my question about the alleged weapon looking shiny, unlike most handguns.

Scrutiny over Kirk's murder is going to be as big and as enduring as with that of the Kennedy assassination. My first suspicion that Israel/Mossad was or might have been involved seems to be widely shared now. Why? First, the out of control Israel government does not shy away from killing people. And in point of fact, murder is a standard procedure in furthering Israeli policy. And now that shaming words no longer work, what else has the criminal syndicate posing as a country have left to them to shut up high profile influencers? Murder when all else fails is Cancel Culture on steroids.

He's a patsy alright, but that doesn't mean he wasn't involved or isn't responsible for the kill shot. George Webb seems to think someone else did the actual killing, but we really just don't know yet (maybe never will). What IS known is that the kid was already being actively recruited as a minor for eventual military service by his uncle who is involved in developing mercs, including snipers, for service in the Ukraine (Crooks & Routh both had those same kind of connections). Webb outlines all the evidence that Robinson was involved in a covert sniper program using Mormon mission cover.

At the beginning of lockdown I got a call from my daughter (1000 miles away) that our only grandchild (14yo and on the spectrum) was transitioning from a girl to a boy. I had no idea what this was. I didn’t even know what to think but had no influence at all. We had no access to her or the parents. I think the devil picked this very time during lockdown to implement the big plan on children. We didn’t communicate much and knew she was getting the drugs. My daughter is one you don’t question but I think the kid was threatening suicide. Common threat.

By 2021 I was busy resisting the jab and the the nasty shit I was getting from others. I also was seeing where much of this Covid mess was coming from—the democrats. But was terribly worried about my granddaughter. One day I was in my bedroom and telling myself—what about the doctors and therapists she saw—she was mildly autistic. Why would they all push this? I truly heard a still small voice answer me “Because they are all in on it”. I woke up. Completely. I couldn’t sleep for a long time until I called to God. It was a frightening time for many of us. Knowing the trans thing made it worse. But I did get clarity that day.

Thank you for sharing this and giving the timestamp!! I really appreciate it.

I don’t want to shame people asking questions, I’d rather see us say, “it’s understandable that you would be suspicious about all the odd things surrounding this assassination, but let me put your concerns to rest about this one particular man …” That gives grace and understanding to the person sharing wrong information and then it corrects the mistaken information or wrongful insinuation. Edifying for everyone.

Yes as Christians we have to refrain from gossip, but we also have been inundated with lies and deception for many years, drowning in it actually. We wouldn’t shame an abused wife for flinching at a potluck when a nearby man raises his arm to scratch his back, and accuse her of jumping to conclusions about a kind and innocent man. I think the reactions of some people are similar to that. We have all been socially and emotionally abused for a decade, and lied to by our government.

But I really do trust Patel and Bongino. I do feel we need to let them work.

When I initially watched the full video, I noticed a double report from what I assumed at the time was the sniper rifle, but it was odd. I actually thought it was two shots in a row from a semi auto. That couldn’t be, we’re told the rifle was a bolt action.

We’ll never know the truth either. We’ll be told the bullet matched the ammo they found, and a 30.06 bullet looks nothing like a 9mm, .40 or .45 bullet, or any other handgun round.

With kindness: As someone who currently owns 4 silencers for various caliber guns and rifles, I can state with some authority that a “silencer” will only truly silence a .22 and only if you are shooting a “subsonic” round. I can fire my 9mm and 45 without wearing ear protection when the silencer is on the gun, but it’s STILL LOUD AS HELL. And the silencers is a very long extension attachment on the barrel. No one pulled out a gun, fired it within a few feet and hid the gun again without anyone noticing the sound, EVEN if silenced. In fact, if a nearby shooter was using a silencer it would be EVEN more unlikely he could have hidden the gun after firing without being noticed by everyone around him - the silencer extends a hand gun barrel to the point that it almost looks like a rifle barrel. I find this “close proximity shooter” inconsistent with the reality of the loud noise and the attention it will draw. Can you imagine standing around with 10 friends, and someone pulls out a gun and fires it and tries to quickly hide the gun again? As though you might not notice?!? Not possible. Unlike in the movies, silencers don’t really “silence.” They reduce the bang, a bit, but not THAT much (sub-sonic rounds in a .22 excepted - nearly silent, but again, you’re now swinging an 12” to an 14” barrel and hoping no one sees it - a .22 silencer adds roughly 4”-7” to a 4” to 7” barrel - someone will surely quibble about the inches of an typical 22 barrel or shorter or longer suppressors, but they’re longer than a typical barrel and no one is whipping one out and firing and hiding it. Plus, the impact, and the way Charlie’s body shakes and shudders… which I will never forget… it was a high caliber rifle round, not a .22 or any handgun at close range).

Conspiracy theories have a way of being proved true these days, but still: what exactly is the benefit of doubting the public story here?

I find it very believable that the arrested suspect, who grew up around guns and later managed to get thoroughly blackpilled from the Left, saw an opportunity for him and his demons to deal a blow to civilization.

Jeff laid out the mentality behind these violent minds very well yesterday.

Do you think Vance and Bongino would participate in a cover up about this? Why should we automatically doubt the facts as presented? Is it just a reflexive skepticism of any official story, or is there actually a good reason to doubt here?

Finally, what would Charlie's take on this situation be (assuming he wasn't the victim)?

As the FBI has said, it's possible there were more people involved, but I'm personally confident they would have behind the scenes conspirators, not additional shooters.

I don’t know if what we have been told so far is the whole story or not, or if this video is garbage or not, but I do know that the FBI and DOJ have made it clear that the investigation is ongoing about whether or not there is additional parties involved, and they even say they aren’t showing all their cards and that would obviously be for good reason, as Patel himself said yesterday, they aren’t going to tip off others they are looking into. There is NOTHING wrong with asking questions about all these oddities at this point, and your desire to shut Lori down and shame her for pointing something out that she saw makes you look worse than her.

You know Kat, I appreciate that you have a visceral reaction against people that seem like they are trying to push their pet cause or make a name for themselves on Charlie's death. It comes from a decent place, I mean that sincerely.

But you may want to consider that the bad guys use our emotional reactions against us. They use it to shut down debate, informed speculation, and people running down things for themselves. It's a manipulative trick they use very effectively to make people not question the official narrative.

As a perfect example, everything we now know about covid and the MRNA vax was from people who wouldn't do what they were told, who kept pushing "conspiracy theories, despite being angrily told their recklessness was "killing grandma".

The people doing this stuff want you upset, fearful, and angry because they know when people are in this mindset they make bad decisions and are easy to control. That's the entire purpose of the evening news and most media, and has been since at least WW2. It's propaganda to manipulate our emotions.

Yes there are plenty of dirtbags out there spouting nonsense they know isn't true to make a name for themselves (we saw this during Covid with Stu Peters and his ilk with vaccine "nanobots"). But there were also plenty of informed people who smelled BS, and figured out exactly why the vax was dangerous and seriously contaminated.

And we really don't know the whole story here I won't be at all surprised is some of the stuff people are calling "garbage" turns out to be exactly true. Don't let yourself be manipulated like this, they want you angry at the wrong things because then you won't think clearly.

One of the harder things for me was to figure out when people are saying things in bad faith vs. still being under the spell of the manipulators.

I gradually realized the bad faith people (and there are a handful on here) really do show their hand pretty clearly. They change their line of attack sometimes 180 degrees when something isn't working. They put words in people's mouths that they didn't say. They exaggerate and twist pretty much everything in extremely dishonest proportions. They attempt to invoke false guilt.

This is all sociopathic behavior, yet it's like breathing to some people. These people deserve to be called out as the shameless liars they are. They count on other people being passive and too "nice" to call them out. I sincerely believe it's cowardice to not call these people out as treating them with civility enables them. Christ wasn't civil to the Pharisees after all.

I don't get that at all with Kat. She's passionate but well-meaning, and hopefully with time will realize that getting upset clouds one's judgment which is exactly what the provocateurs count on.

I stay off social media mostly but happened to see Erica's coffin farewell and thought it disgusting and tasteless like a bad PR stunt. Was that real? Are they insulting our intelligence, good faith, and morals in filming and posting that? That alone makes me sick. It seems they manipulated her to do it, and her speech seemed forced on her.

Media is turning it into a show and how dare we question??? Who knows but I am not going to get all worked up over it because they want us to and more division is accomplished.

Since when has the government given us truth? They manipulate and fear monger us with tragic events historically, not that events didn't happen, but that they use them to manipulate... real and faked events. Who said "you never want a serious crisis to go to waste?" Several people have said something similar. Our reality is what they tell us.

You don't think righteous leaders are taken out to further a one world gov?

If we don't question, then they take advantage of us. For example, if most people questioned the ridiculous masks and covid lockdowns etc, many lives and psyche could have been saved in hospitals and children's schools etc.

I am only a sheep to Jesus the good shepherd. Its the only truth we get.

I don’t want to support NYT so I don’t have a subscription, even though I would like to occasionally read articles. Such was the case last week, the day before Charlie was assassinated (such perfect timing, almost like they knew in advance…) when they ran a big piece on Nick Fuentes. I watched Fuentes's show once and that was enough. He did a "response" video after Tucker and Candace criticized him on Tucker's show, so I watched that. He's just such and obnoxious jerk, I wouldn't care what he was saying - it's hard to tolerate that much negativity. Anyway, I read the NYTimes article and at least they admitted Fuentes can't stand Trump or JD Vance. They also (maybe inadvertently) debunked the lesser Charlottesville hoax. They quote Fuentes as leading a chant saying "You will not replace us." not the more commonly misquoted "Jews will not replace us."

It is stupid to outlaw speech. Lies, however, can and very well should have consequences. Legal consequences for sure, but the punishment should be more than just monetary. The following was relayed by a 20-year hunter/outdoorsmen, and former firearm safety instructor —

(As I am not a firearm or ballistics expert, I’d appreciate feedback on these points)

“More than a few screws are loose with what the public is being told about Charlie Kirk’s death, and the current investigative efforts. Here’s just some of the things that don’t add up:

1. Both the .30-06 frame and the Mauser frame are serious weapons. They were each originally designed for the prosecution of war (maximum damage/stopping power), and are adaptable for and effective at hunting big game. Let that sink in: These rifles each can drop 800lb elk with a well placed shot or two, and elk hide is incredibly tough compared to a human being’s skin. Even at a considerable distance in the 200-300 yard range, a clean shot to the lower neck area of a person, just above the clavicle, by either of these weapons would almost certainly produce a “jelly’ing” effect, and would leave a significant entry and exit wound. You might be able to make an exception for a direct hit on bone, or on wearable body armor, but in both of those scenarios you then end up with an “outward-explosive” effect as the round fragments and begins to decelerate in all directions at once. This produces spray, and there would be a lot of spray coming from an obliterated brachial or carotid artery. It would be all over the victim’s face, shirt, hair, and everything in the immediate vicinity on the torso and abdomen. The story is basically the same for .233/.556 rounds, which are the rounds fitted to almost all AR15 platforms.

2. For the rooftop shooter to be the actual bad guy here, at that distance, you would need an expert marksmen firing a round large and stable enough to hold its trajectory through a small cross breeze over ~600 feet, yet small enough to not do those things I just described above upon impact. That leaves a very narrow cross section of applicable weaponry, and again I want to stress that the person pulling the trigger would need to be extremely well trained on *that specific rifle*, as no rifles are ever truly the same even when they are the same make/model.

3. Stopping power is something most people don’t think about when they witness a gun shot event, be it in the news or on the hunting field, but it matters. The rooftop shooter would have been positioned at about Charlie’s 10o’clock, maybe 1030, if we use the perspective of him being seated on stage looking out over the crowd. I can tell you that even accounting for a moving chair apparatus, being struck by any of the weapons listed in item number 1 would, at the absolute minimum, visibly shift his entire body in the chair, and more than likely knock him clear off of it.

4. Disassembly — not only do the official narratives not yet agree on this and other premises (what was used v. what was allegedly found by FBI, etc), but all 3 rifles described above, plus most of the popular and comparable hunting rifles out there, are complex mechanisms that require specialized tools of the trade to disassemble and reassemble. And to do so with any of them in less than 3-4 minutes without a dedicated workspace, and limited tools, is just simply unheard of.

Someone’s lying somewhere.

End

I do not know about firearms, so I checked with an expert who DOES. In reference to Webe1's post I was briefly told:

1. ".30-06" is the caliber of ammo, not a "frame"

2. "Mauser" is a MANUFACTURER that makes MANY DIFFERENT firearms. Again, not a "frame".

3. "200-300 yard range" is a 'gimme' with a long gun and does NOT require marksmanship expertise. In fact, the accused shooter could have been aiming for head or center of mass (which is more likely. WHO *AIMS* for the NECK?) and hit the neck instead

4. Has the information been confirmed WHAT CALIBER of ammo the accused shooter used?? I am not aware of that info. If it was steel tipped ammo it would have gone STRAIGHT THROUGH a soft target like a neck and WOULD NOT have blown out the exit. (If it was a hollow point then yes, it would have created a mess upon exit.)

5. There IS NO caliber ".556" There is 5.56. If the writer meant "556" there is no DECIMAL.

My commentary:

The conflation of bs have-baked information, especially that which BLAMES THE JEWS (as USUAL) 🙄 is pretty gross. Just remember, THE LEFT IS WHO HATES BIBI so if you see the narrative that Bibi is to blame IT IS BEING PUSHED FROM THE LEFT.

Yeah, happen to own and shoot a Spanish Mauser in 30-06. First off,the shot was only about 140 yards. That’s a cake shot for that round and rifle. I mean to say I could put the 60 year old ammunition I own, through a donut hole at that range, with the 65 year old Mauser I own. And then no, it can’t be taken apart. And it’s long. Long long. So there are some discrepancies in what we are being told, but then we are being fed bullshit for the past 50 years,so what’s new?

What Gail W write is true from my experience (I do know firearms, but have only my own experience)

What I saw:

Charlie Kirk was wearing a vest, could have had steel or ceramic protection plates, but I cannot know that.

Shot hit to the left side of the neck, whether an accurate aim ( I doubt it) or accident.

It looked like the entrance and exit wounds might have just been one big wound. I cannot see close enough.

Since I cannot see close enough, it could have been a ricochet from a metal plate in the vest to the neck. (depending on the ammo, absolutely possible but not likely)

Shot did not come from the side or how he fell would be different and the damage would be different. That is my experience only, I acknowledge that someone else's lived experience could be different.

It's not just CALIBER, but bullet diameter (caliber), bullet weight (in grains or grams), cartridge length (in millimeters or inches), bullet type (e.g., Full Metal Jacket, Soft Point) and a host of other considerations as to what kind of damage would be done. I would normally assume if this was really "Grandpa's gun", the ammo would be pretty standard, but depends on where Grandpa got the gun from and what he used it for and if the killer purchased any new ammo.

That was not a current (or IMO standard) Mauser gun. Might have been shorter than the norm because of that fact.

I don't believe the gun was disassembled ( nor do I think it easily could be), but that it arrived on campus shoved into the waistband of his pants, with the stock tucked under his own vest, and it came down off the roof with him (he drags what looks like the gun in a bag off the roof with him and carries it off)

I believe the scope may have been attached after arriving on the roof. The scope position shown in the box with the rifle was not the norm.

I am open to other theories, but this wasn't a hard shot for anyone who shoots regularly. The assumption could have been that even with a vest, a bullet would make it through shooting at center mass. Or the shooter might have been aiming for the head and missed (Charlie Kirk moved around a lot). I can't imagine anyone would aim for a neck on purpose. I, personally, see exactly how the gun most likely arrived and how it left the site.

So from my experience, with what I could see and what I know, this lines up fine. Doesn't mean it is the truth, but is 100% possible that it was exactly as the shooter says so should not be ruled out.

Expand full comment
SteelJ's avatar

Point 1 - I expected a pass-through with a huge exit wound you could stick your fist in. I've shot a lot of deer. Arrows usually pass through, but they're different. I've never had a shotgun slug pass through, but again they're different. My 30-30, which is less powerful than a 30-06 may pass through, but its ballistics are different. Less velocity so the bullet stays more intact. The higher the velocity, the more fragmentation. Degree of fragmentation also depends on the bullet type which we don't know - full metal jacket, soft point, hollow point? Their penetration varies. No pass through might be plausible, I'll wait to hear from a bona fide expert on that, and there are many who claim to be that are not.

Point 2 - total BS. It would not require an expert marksman, just a competent shooter with some experience. We can be pretty sure he missed his target which was head or center mass unless he aimed for the neck, which is not likely. If he'd missed horizontally instead of vertically by the same amount Charlie would probably be alive. Windage - not a factor at all in this case. Training on a specific rifle? More BS. Sure familiarity helps but if you can shoot a rifle you can shoot any standard rifle.

Point 3 - Total BS. I've shot many human size animals with both slug and rifle right where I aimed and I couldn't tell they were even hit by their immediate reaction. They were dead very quickly though.

Point 4 - BS I think. Many long guns can have the stock/fore-end removed from the barrel/action with a single screw. Not sure about Mauser-style rifles, but I have a rifle like that. That's not total disassembly but enough to make the weapon more easily concealed for transport.

There are lots of opinions and lots of BS swirling about the shooting, including all the experts who assured everyone that this was a professional hit from the moment it occurred. Addressing the points in the order presented:

1-      I’m not sure what the point of contention may be based on the discussion of exit wounds, blood dispersion, body armor, etc., but until more details are known (such as bullet type, weight, and velocity, precise point of impact, body armor, etc.) it is not easy to speculate with accuracy about the effect that should have been produced. It certainly was a fatal wound, as could be expected with a .30-06 in the neck.

2-      It appears the range was well under 200 yards, perhaps less than 150 yards. Not at all a difficult shot. It actually appears rather sloppy, as the neck was almost certainly not the point of aim.

3-      The description of expected reaction of an individual struck with a bullet is incorrect. For example, it is possible to shoot an empty aluminum can with a high-powered rifle without knocking the can over. Energy transfer does not work that way with hyper-sonic ammo. Rather, there will be a wound channel of .30 inches at point of entry, in the case of a .30-06, and again, depending on specifics like bullet type, potential expansion and tissue damage occurring along the course of the bullet. It is likely the bullet passed through, and created an exit wound, with unspent energy as a result.

4-      There is not yet any indication that assembly or disassembly of the rifle occurred.
