The last time anyone had seen Ilhan Omar this upset was when her brother forgot their wedding anniversary.

1995, Ilhan entered the United States as a fraudulent member of the “Omar” family.

The Omars allowed Ilhan, her genetic sister Sahra, and her genetic father Nur Said to use false names to apply for asylum as members of the Omar family.

Her father’s name before applying for asylum was Nur Said Elmi Mohamed.

Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed (aka Nur Said Elmi Mohamed), is connected to the former dictator in Somalia, Said Barre. Nur and other former Barre accomplices are living in the US illegally.

She was married to her Somali husband in a ceremonial marriage, then when she brought her biological brother over here she married the brother in a legal US marriage. They both went to North Dakota State University for 4 years and she divorced him in May the year they graduated and then she legally married her husband (that she had the children with that she had previously been only married ceremonially by "ceremony")....

THEN she got into Congress and moved to DC where she had an affair with her fundraiser guy.... BUT....her husband caught her cheating when he showed up unannounced in DC....and he divorced her. But he never ratted her out so I assume she paid him a bunch of money.

She has committed immigration fraud, marriage fraud, student loan fraud and also election fraud AND fundraiser fraud so they should ALL be deported, with HER FIRST! "

Lone Star exile's avatar

Statistically the highest percentage of pedophilia comes from the child's natural father...

Very sad.

rolandttg's avatar

Not sure. From some personal knowledge from people who told me "but I never asked! " about that, it was step fathers abusing their step daughters. Sadly, pretty credible.

Lone Star exile's avatar

I heard that from Tim Tebow on Shawn Ryan's podcast about the highest percentage being the natural father.

Heterodox Introvert's avatar

Personal contacts x2 - a highly unscientific sample - it started with the natural father, grew to trafficking with the true statistic: the vast majority of children who are trafficked across the world sleep in their own beds at night. Both contacts are women. I don't know Cathy O'Brien or Gloria Masters but both are vocal examples of this pattern. My contacts live in the shadows within society.

While we're at it, since the awfulness is still rampant though my fervent prayer is that as more and more of us learn about its prevelance and the network gets exposed the industry dies out (and it is a *very* profitable industry), I'd like to share the distress signal of the abused/trafficked. It's becoming more known, I didn't know about it myself until several years ago, during c-vid years.

The distress signal is the thumb folded across the palm, with the hand opening and closing, opening and closing, opening and closing. The person flashing the signal, out of the sight of their handler/abuser, is crying for help. The day I see it first hand a switch will flip and my safety will be at risk because I will respond, all 107 lbs of me. I'm thinking I'll approach the victim with a sense of vague recognition and say something like, "Don't I know your Auntie Jennifer?" I'll figure it out from there. Should have a phone with me...

rolandttg's avatar

If nothing else, there are a lot more natural fathers than step fathers.

Did Senator Fettermen stand when President Trump asked for support of American citizens in the 2/24/26 SOTU address?

Searching the web

No, Senator John Fetterman did not stand when President Trump asked lawmakers to stand in support of the statement that the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens (not illegal aliens) during his February 24, 2026, State of the Union address.Multiple reports from the event describe Trump making this direct appeal early in the speech, phrasing it along the lines of: "The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens." He then urged those who agreed to stand and show support. Republicans stood and applauded, but Democrats largely remained seated. Trump responded by criticizing them, saying things like "You should be ashamed of yourself, not standing up," "Isn't that a shame?" and calling them "crazy" for not rising.Fetterman, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, was present and notably stood out in other ways—he was the only Democrat reported to have shaken Trump's hand before the speech (and confirmed it afterward), wore a suit (unusual for his typical casual style), and clapped/stood at other moments, such as for victims' families (e.g., Iryna Zarutska and Erika Kirk) or certain policy points like military actions. Post-speech, he criticized some Democrats for "yelling and screaming" or disruptive protests, emphasizing respect for the office. However, on this specific immigration-related standing moment targeting the "protect American citizens" line, coverage consistently indicates Democrats (including Fetterman) stayed seated as a group, prompting Trump's rebukes directed at their side of the chamber. No sources describe Fetterman as an exception here, unlike in the handshake or other applause instances. Some observers and social media posts even expressed disappointment that even he did not stand for that particular prompt, despite his cross-aisle gestures elsewhere.

There’s plenty of evil in this world, but I don’t believe this piece. Sounds made up to me. The answer to everything being run by a satanic cult is that we all just join hands and sing Kumbaya and ‘Love one another right now’? Tried that in the 70s. Didn’t work. How is that supposed to work?

Unnecessarily discouraging and dark thoughts that can only lead to despair it seems to me. This is a technique I’m seeing being used as a psyop on the internet.

We’re supposed to unilaterally disarm or something for the purpose of ‘unity’.

Penny North's avatar

I did not get that out of it. But I respect your thoughts.

There is Scripture to match it. So, as a Christian, I see the truth in much of it.

Gabriella's avatar

So even if we accept this & we go ahead & love everyone… but then, WHAT??

How does this change the system?

Just like everyone telling us to grow our own food and be self sufficient… that’s not possible for everyone and their life circumstances.

Penny North's avatar

It won’t. But it is a way to stop the division, hate, and what many are doing to hurt each other. If we ‘at the bottom of the pyramid’ unite and love each other, the top will eventually lose effective manipulation.

Willing Spirit's avatar

Hippies tried it in the 70s. Made things worse.

Willing Spirit's avatar

What scripture(s) are you referring to?

Penny North's avatar

Many throughout the Bible give us this picture as described in his post.

Willing Spirit's avatar

Could you be more specific? I’m 75 and have seen a lot over the past many years. I was a 70s hippie and tried the ‘Let’s Just Love One Another right Now’ approach. Acceptance of soft evil in order to get along is no better than acceptance of the horrors this man describes.

We can’t just all hold hands and sing ‘Kumbaya’ and expect the world to become a better place because we’re ’getting along’.

There’s a demonic trick in this.

I hear they are now going to the White House. Probably realized what a bad look it was.

RunningLogic's avatar

I’d like to know what their other commitments were. Or maybe there was disagreement among the players about going, so they had to work it out? Just throwing out ideas.

Juju's avatar
Feb 25Edited

Apparently Flavor Flav invited them to a party. Not sure if any of them attended or not. Frankly no commitment was more important than attending the SOTU. I attribute this to how many women in our country are delusional and brainwashed and probably bullied team members to not go

RunningLogic's avatar

Yeah that icon of feminism and support for women 😑😆

Could be. It does seem as if their situation was a little different than for the men, so I will cut them a little slack but I agree, they should have just said yes and figured it out.

I would imagine TDS played a big part in the decision. There was an LGBTQXYZ angle to their Olympic game.

LMWC's avatar

The Marxist governor of Michigan who is term limited is spending her last year in office gallivanting all over the globe, couched in “doing business to bring business to Michigan”. She was in Munich but managed to scamper over to the Olympics in time to have her picture attending the woman’s Olympic hockey game and celebrating. My guess is she figured that was going to be the pinnacle of USA Olympic superiority. The Left always falls back on the same tired strategies, then throws them under the bus when they no longer work for them, but will bring them back in a heartbeat to recycle again and again….oh the hypocrisy…

Susan Seas's avatar

I’m not sure I hope it was more than a hair appointment 😂

Dig deeper.

5 Men failed to attend the SOTU also due to prior commitments, rejoining their professional hockey teams.

See comment below

William Foster's avatar

A visit to the dentist to fix your purty smyle. Wait, that was not a commitment worthy of missing a SOTU address for the men's team.

Kathleen Janoski's avatar

Amazing that none of them could read the room in the first place.

Susan Seas's avatar

Especially after they all saw or heard what happened to the “we’re not proud to be Americans” at the Olympics. And then to choose this very bold statement.

Dr Linda's avatar

It a little late, sadly

Susan Seas's avatar

Dr Elizabeth Lee Vliet. MD's avatar

Excellent point. The women’s gold medal hockey team made a huge strategic public relations mistake at a time when women’s sports desperately needs the public to get behind the effort to keep trans men out of women sports. I’m very disappointed that the women were so petty in their political views as to avoid SOTU phenomenal opportunity. “Scheduling conflict” reason was clearly BS - some of the women, including Capt of team, expressed views on social media that betrayed the political reason they petulantly did not attend. It is selfish and myopic that they could not see the bigger picture for the country, and for women sports in general. Whoever was advising them on PR failed miserably in devastating stupidity. That was a missed opportunity of a lifetime, although given their limited ability to look at the “big picture” it may take them a while to realize what an enormous mistake they made.

Julie's avatar

Agreed. Trump makes me laugh and I know he was joking when he said he’d have to invite the women’s team too or face impeachment. I chucked myself, but honestly, I can see how the women might be a tad offended at that. After such an amazing accomplishment. Glad they reconsidered and scheduled a White House meeting.

Dr Linda's avatar

Thank you Alan. It is easy to be confused when all the information isn’t shared.

Jeff Lynn's avatar

Some facts may offer why the women declined:

Short notice: Players learned of the invitation late Sunday night (February 22), after Trump’s call to the men’s team following their overtime gold win.

Travel: The women flew commercial and most were not scheduled to land back in North America until Monday evening. (The men’s team had a charter flight and arrived earlier.)

Post-Olympics schedules:

PWHL (Professional Women’s Hockey League) season resumes Thursday, February 26.

NHL regular season resumes Wednesday (relevant for any crossover context, though women play in PWHL).

Several roster members are NCAA college players with classes and games resuming this week (some as early as Friday).

Roster breakdown (per reports): Roughly 16 PWHL pros + 7 college players, making unified attendance impossible on such short notice.

Unwoke in Idaho's avatar

As I responded to your exact same comment elsewhere on this thread

————-

Pfffft. The women have missed out on a great never to be reprised opportunity.

Had they said yes! Yes thank you we will come!….

They could have asked to fly with the men, no doubt there was plenty of room.

Thursday is TWO days after the SOTU.

Friday is THREE days after the event and how many classes does a college student take on Friday? How many classes does a college student miss anyway?

If the women flew commercial and didn’t land until Monday, ONE DAY BEFORE the speech, how was unified attendance not doable?

Weak weak weak excuses. But their loss.

Deb's avatar

I believe they chose to miss out all while trying to make a point....absolutely pitiful! We did not watch the Olympics due to the whining from over indulged spoiled brats!

But it sure warmed my soul when the men's hockey team chose to celebrate their win and the fact they live in the greatest country in the world!

I suspect they are young liberal TDS women that believe in pronouns and refused to go. Hope I am wrong. I also believe the only reason they decided to come is bc they have to. Watch their facial expressions and body language when they appear. Will be interesting. I know they will not be happy to be there compared to our mens hockey team.

MarshaLouise's avatar

One hopes they’re not exercising their LGBTQ rights as in women’s soccer.

KCrail's avatar

If Trump had invited them after their victory on Saturday, it might have been possible. Instead, he waited until after the men’s overtime victory on Sunday night. Why?

And the men’s team flew a charter while the women’s team flew commercial.

Hope that helps.

The invite to the women was an afterthought, not sincere.

Dr Linda's avatar

Interesting, I don’t doubt it. That too saddens me.

It’s not the electric bill concern over AI plants. It’s water usage in drought states like Cali. Btw turkeys, beef, rent electricity in fact living in California is a blue pain in the purse due to Democrat governance.

Freebird's avatar

Exactly! Texas is so dry that it literally burns just about every year in February; last year we had the largest wildfire in the nation’s history. Our water supply is already less than needed to sustain life, and now they are building water-hog data centers all over the state. It’s crazy!

I am not your Other's avatar

Yes, water is my biggest concern. The AI barons should be tasked with desalinization plants. We can’t keep sucking out the groundwater and drying up rivers. (Example: Colorado River used to make it into and through Mexico.)

c Anderson's avatar

If you are worried about water, how about the Tijuana River in San Diego, full of raw poop from Mexico? How about the poop spill on the Potomac impacting DC due to governor Wes Moore? https://www.kpbs.org/news/public-safety/2025/12/05/tijuana-river-sewage-still-pollutes-the-san-diego-coast-a-surfer-turned-politician-is-fighting-to-clean-it-up

I am not your Other's avatar

It is not either or. We all should be concerned about water usage and quality.

AJF's avatar

I am not your Other, I'm thinking AI will be our downfall. Incredible amounts of both energy and fresh water to sustain it is insane. Yet this is where the money goes. "The Love of money ....."

Leo's avatar

so if data centers have to pay for and generate their own electricity why don't wind & solar have to pay for their own transmission lines - also I read some years ago that power plants have to buy electricity generated from wind & solar at above market prices in addition for paying for transmission lines and those materially add to the increasing prices

Bandit's avatar

I've read a few articles stating the same. It's insane.

Margot Wooster's avatar

I really believe Trump & team are working on the water issue as well. Hang on and trust the Lord!

KCrail's avatar

For me the concern is AI itself! And as a finance pro I can tell you that the benefits beings sold to us are nowhere near the costs. The real benefit will be the elites, who will now have a digital army to censor, surveillance, and shut off your resources if you don’t behave. Not to mention the complete atrophy of human thinking.

Jeffrey N. Gratton's avatar

Your comment is the first I've ever encountered (anywhere) warning about the atrophy of human thinking.

This is the CENTRAL overarching concern ... It's as blatant as 'The Emperor's New Clothes' ... which is why we hear zero debate about it

KC's avatar

Just like most people cannot do basic math by hand anymore, or make change without a computer. I saw a study that found that interacting with AI for just one hour produced shrinkage of the neuron pathways in the brain by a fairly significant amount. I don't recall where I saw it, but it left a mark on me. I also believe it is a test of our ability to say "no". If you've read Tolkien, AI seems very much like the Ring of Power. Men are convinced they can wield it for "good" and it destroys them every single time....The truth is the ring had to be cast into the fire of Mount Doom and be destroyed..... I think Catherine Austin Fitts calls it "pressing the red button".

Skeptical Actuary's avatar

The "benefits" to the average person are negative. You can ask questions and get answers easier, but you kid can have their term papers and essays written for them, so those entire type of assignments have to be ditched from the curriculum if they can't be done in class.

And then of course, your jobs disappear. Your kids will have no reason to go to college, so they won't need to do well in school, so they won't NEED to worry about being able to think critically (ponder both sides of a minimum wage debate, for example).

There won't be any money for a universal basic income. At best, and I mean at best, citizens will be provided with enough to keep us from rioting.

KCrail: Boom!

Alice Ball's avatar

I live in water-rich Memphis, with the Mighty Mississippi rolling by and also the massive Memphis Sand Aquifer. Citizens are fiercely protective of the aquifer (for good reason), so Elon Musk's XAI didn't try to use aquifer water but instead is building a gray water plant to recycle river water. Electricity is a concern here, but just south of us in northern Mississippi, he bought a power plant from the state (state no longer used) and is generating the power he needs. So far he has been a good business partner to the city.

Leo's avatar

That is being responsible. Good model for all the other AI builders and funders.

Bard Joseph's avatar

And private energy producers will spare power to local utilities? Now the World Order controls you with no regulation.

c Anderson's avatar

So foolish! Both of you are uniformed about electrical power and cogeneration plants. It is a system commonly used in paper making plants. That’s why in my area, we have very low electric bills. Cogeneration lowers electric bills by putting excess electricity into the system. As far as water being needed for data centers, new designs are not water cooled. 🙄

The Great Resist's avatar

New data centers here in my water-scarce area are still making deals to buy massive amounts of water from local towns. Sadly, the mayors and city councils of these towns don’t always understand how precarious their water situation actually is. They just envision the money pouring in (for their town, not personally), and don’t realize that they’re signing their community’s death warrant by signing that water deal.

c Anderson's avatar

Hahaha! Scare tactics? Your position stops technical progress. So is your problem the fact that all individuals will have access to data which makes us a classless society, or is it really about water availability which is a non issue. Israel made the desert bloom. Sheesh.

The Great Resist's avatar

Yeah, you try drilling a water well out here and see how you like drinking dust! You think water just magically flows when you turn on the tap? Sheesh.

rolandttg's avatar

Went to a county data center meeting 2 weeks ago. My understanding from that is not that new data centers are not water cooled . What they said is there is open loop and closed loop design water cooling, with closed loop using less water. That said, there are new closed loop designs in the works that supposedly use no water. Closed loop costs more, but it should be required as part of th approval process

Leo's avatar

Yep, The closed loop water cooling system certainly should be required. Begs the question, why isn't it?

Peter Schott's avatar

Maybe we can chip off a huge chunk of an iceberg, put some engines on it, and sail it down to the dryer states for AI usage? ;)

(Hey - if it worked for Brewster, it could work for us, right? )

Leo's avatar

Yes, and the AI plants could easily recycle the water they use on site...but they have chosen not to because it is "too expensive." So instead, they pass that expense on to the public. We pay for their huge water consumption and polluted discharge.

CaliforniaLost's avatar

I'm not too worried about AI center here in California. Ironically, our anti-business government is keeping companies from planning many here. No new jobs, though.

My impression of him is the same as that of Victor Orban of Hungary. They are protecting their countries from the migrant invasions, and fighting against the tyranny of the EU and Ursula Van Der Leyen, who are trying to force Hungary and Slovakia to support Ukraine. The EU is desperately trying to start WWIII to stop the Trump agenda.

“Two hundred and fifty years is a long time in the life of a nation, but in another sense, it's really a mere moment in the eye of history. Two of the gentlemen we met in the gallery this evening took their first breaths one century ago,” the president said, referring to two veterans he honored earlier in the address.

One hundred years before that, on July 4, 1826, the author of the Declaration of Independence, brilliant Thomas Jefferson, drew his last breath. Just a single long human lifespan separates the giants who declared and won our independence from the heroes who stand among us tonight. Everything our nation has done, everything we have achieved, has been the work of those few great lifetimes.”

A great moment in a the address.
