So teach us to number our days,

That we may present to You a heart of wisdom.

Do return, O Lord; how long will it be?

And be sorry for Your servants.

O satisfy us in the morning with Your lovingkindness,

That we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.

Make us glad according to the days You have afflicted us,

And the years we have seen evil.

Let Your work appear to Your servants

And Your majesty to their children.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us;

And confirm for us the work of our hands;

Yes, confirm the work of our hands.

— Psalm 90:12-17 NASB1995

Amen!

I often pray “how long?!”

All in His good timing.

It may be dark for a time and we may have to persevere as the faithful remnant, but His plan always wins.

Last year or 2 years ago at this time we had no idea of the evil behind the world messes. It gives great hope to know, and know what/who to resist.

That. And we should also widen our lens to see that what we are dealing with is the same thing that always happens, and which was behind the fall of the Roman Empire. It wasn't that the powers and people of Rome paid homage to pagan gods during its lengthy decline but that the culture was guided by abject materialism and the associated preoccupations with pleasure, particularly sexual, power and control, and idolatry of all sorts.

I'm glad those 20 Republicans are holding out and not voting for McCarthy. He stands for nothing and may be even more vapid than Paul Ryan was.

The last few years have so illuminating. Hannity is one who I used to assume was solid and on the side of the angels, but whose true colors have been exposed over the last several years with the 2020 election and covid. Fox told him the election was on the up and up, and that covid vaccines were super important, so that's what he said. I now see that he is at best compromised and at worst a total controlled-opposition tool.

I've often wondered if the plan here is to eventually craft a narrative that Trump is to blame for the failure and human devastation of the jabs. Sure, there is plenty of documented evidence against the mashed potato brain US president, MSM, Frankenfauci, etc but for what appears to be a majority that watches and believes the MSM they can eventually craft whatever narrative they want.

I agree, and I want Trump to exit NOW, but Trump does not have a medical degree or an epidemiologist. The POTUS should be able to trust the counsel of all his advisors. And he did. Fauci, the CDC, NIH...he dragged his feet on masks and the media went nuts, he spoke of Hydroxychloroquine and at Fauci’s command, the media went “ nuculahr.” The vaccine was clearly not effective ( I’ll leave its safety out of this comment) but instead of the media delving into that they will blame Trump for blindly supporting the vaccines. So, the media is still shaming the people who said no to a vaccine and at the same time they are saying said vaccine was not effective. Got that???

If covid accountability ever happens Trump's name need to be near the top of the list. The idea that the fake vax saved anyone let alone 100 million is beyond ludicrous. For Trump to still be out there still peddling the clot shot is an abortion of ethics, morality, honesty, common sense and sound judgement.

Trump is married to the the establishment covid narrative. He was captain when the titanic hit the iceberg. He failed at the most important task of his presidency. And instead of admitting failure he is out there dectupling down on what he wants everyone to believe is his supposed greatest work, his masterpiece - the clot shot. His role needs to be thoroughly examined and investigated as part of any Nuremberg II.

To the people saying Trump didn't mandate it, well he paved the roads for the cloth shot mandate. Operation Warp Speed. He has boasted that he cut through all the unnecessary red tape like proper clinical trials and testing to get the fake vax approved and made available to the public, via a military operation. The wall to wall full spectrum saturation covid propaganda that began nearly 3 years ago and is still ongoing is part of Trump's legacy. And he's claiming that 100 million lives were saved by the fake vax that doesn't work ... what a despicable disgusting fraud.

Whether or not Trump would have mandated it is essentially irrelevant. He can say anything, that doesn't make it necessarily true. Biden said he was against mandates too, until he was in favor of them. I suspect Trump would have done a modified or limited mandate and let the cities, states, and corporations do the dirty work.

Expand full comment

Trump is flawed for sure. But he was all in on a solution to the "pandemic". He advocated for HCQ, even used it, and ivermectin. He even downplayed the serious nature of the virus until buried by the MMM over it. His advisors (Fauci and Birx) however, were criminal in both narrative and actions. Doesn't mean Trump gets any gold stars for his efforts, just means your vitriol towards him is over played. He wouldn't be on trial, he wasn't even part of the vaccine rollout.

Expand full comment

I agree. Trump is a business man and as such “fixes” problems. He treated all the problems of government like a business. What I believe he came to find out is that the Swamp is not run like a business. It is government that did not want a solution and had no need of one. The problems Trump was tackling were decades in the making. I heard 30 year old footage of Trump speaking of the danger of letting China go unchecked, infiltrating every corner of the economy. And for 3 years, against both Democrats and Republicans in the Swamp, he was successful. The border was being closed down, he got Mexico to stop border crossings, he got us out of the Climate accords and in supporting the warring factions in the Middle East. The economy was becoming so much better, unemployment was down. We were energy independent.

I am the wife of a veteran and I know how much he supported the military, the guys who actually do the work of serving. He made so many new and good things happen in a bloated VA system that wasn’t helping the very vets who had served. The Rust belt felt hope for the first time in years. He has still strong supporters.

All of the above is true and yes, he has ego, but who could run a campaign singlehandedly without some ego and spend years enduring every bit of vitriol the msm could hand out.

I don’t know why he still promotes Warp Speed, if he still does. Perhaps, it lies in his businessman acumen and his fixer mentality, but I do know coming on here throwing him under the bus at this point is not what we should be doing.

He definitely did a lot of good and helpful things. It’s a shame Lying Mush Brain and his administration have undone so many 😞

I had the impression his plan was to make it available to high risk people if they wanted it, just like other “right to try” type medications. Then the whole thing got hijacked as the jabs rolled out and states started pushing them and doing the lotteries and free donuts and all that, then mandates. I may be wrong but I don’t think that was Trump's intention. That said, it does rub me the wrong way that he keeps insisting how many lives they saved etc etc.

Expand full comment

I don’t think Trump had the power to shut everything down. The states did that, to varying degrees.

Expand full comment

I've always been curious - how exactly does anybody count lives that were saved? Do these people just arbitrarily count people who were jabbed and are still alive?

Expand full comment

For 100 million lives to have been saved by the clot shot... the virus would have had to mutate into something far far more deadly than it was before the clot shot was available.

According to official stats before the shot was widely available about 3.8 million people died across the world, out of 171 million that were infected. That's approximately 2% kill rate, according to official stats. Probably a way way way over estimate of deaths, and an underestimate of infections, meaning that the actual kill rate was a lot lower than 2% ....

Over time by just about any account I have seen the virus mutated into a less deadly variants not more deadly, meaning a virus kill rate of 2% is extremely high and unlikely ... but for the sake of argument let's use the official 2% kill rate.

For 100 million people to have been saved by the clot shot over 5 billion people would have necessarily been infected after June 2021 when the shots were in wide spread use, if the kill rate of the virus was at 2%. (and assuming the fake vax worked at nearly 100%) If the clot shot worked ... wouldn't the number of infections go down and not have rocketed up into orbit?

By official numbers 500 million people were infected after the clot shot was available. Still more than double the amount before the fake vax was available. But nowhere near the 5 billion infection necessary for 100 million lives to have been saved at a 2% kill rate.

So the implication of what dumbass Trump is saying is that the the kill rate of the virus went from 2% to something like 20%. Smallpox territory. In order for what he's saying to be true the virus must have become 10 times more deadly after the clot shot was in use ... and that the clot shot magically worked and saved all those poor souls ... even though the shot did nothing to prevent infections.

Trump's bogus 100 million lives saved looks even more absurd when you consider that that the actual kill rate of the rona was probably less than 1%, and went down over time as people built up natural immunity and the virus adapted and became less lethal.

Of course it is completely bogus because if it were true then the unvaxed would have been dying at a rate 10 times higher than the vaxed.
