I have both met Russians and been to Russia - both were/have been great experiences though also adventures (spent some time teaching English in Russia in the early 2000s; there were some real Stories to tell 😅). The church I grew up in also had a sister church in Russia that they routinely sent mission trips to, and hosted our Russian brothers and sisters in Christ in the US too. Eventually several church families also adopted disabled children out of Russian orphanages. Russia has its problems like any nation but it’s no worse than many others and better than many - except at the time I was experiencing direct engagement, its secularism and residual cultural communism was clearly hamstringing its growth and vision. I have both met Russians and been to Russia - both were/have been great experiences though also adventures (spent some time teaching English in Russia in the early 2000s; there were some real Stories to tell 😅). The church I grew up in also had a sister church in Russia that they routinely sent mission trips to, and hosted our Russian brothers and sisters in Christ in the US too. Eventually several church families also adopted disabled children out of Russian orphanages. I have a bro-in-law in the military who I greatly admire and I've always been thankful for the sacrifices made by brave soldiers fighting for freedom. Not all of us taxpayers were in the dark about the Ukrainian corruption. At the start of the war, people like Alex Jones were exposing the fact that Zelensky was buying cocaine, his wife was going on shopping binges, buying multiple homes, stuffing personal bank accounts, all on the taxpayer's dime.
However, nowadays you could say that about any country and politician and it would be right.
The whole point of Biden starting and continuing that war was to destroy the evidence that Putin has acquired. There will be some incredible evidence of American governance corruption in the mix, most of it pointing to all the sleazeballs we know and hate. And yes, there will be some republicans in that mix.
