On the Democrats new bill, Mike Johnson should just come out today and say "I'd like to thank our colleagues across the aisle for recognizing finally the importance of true free speech. To that end, we Republicans will request the bill contain retro-activity back to January 2021, in order to ensure that citizens who were targeted in the recent past can be made whole." Once he says that, Democrats will flee from their own bill, and Republicans are given another bat to whack the Dems with for the mid-terms. It is hardball time.

You have to understand this is not one of those 1,000 page omnibus bills no one reads. Their bill is short. So there is no 'slipping' anything in. And with AI now, bills can be easily scanned and all major points called out in a minute. So best to be upfront from the start. Dems "punched" with this bill. Do a Trumpian "counter-punch" with the retroactivity, no negotiations. If the Dems object, it then gives Republicans the chance to pick and choose who they want to highlight as being aggrieved, and have a press conference. If we have learned anything with the Nov. 2024 election, Americans are sick of two-tiered justice. They want the same rules for everyone, and they don't want past misdeeds swept under the carpet. We need to prosecute, and not protect, the Wrays, Garlands, etc. who did so much harm. No "get out of jail free" 'niceness' this time around. Trump tried that with Shrillary after he got in in 2017. It's time for real consequences, and we have to play this game to win now.

“Make it easier to sue” sounds like a stimulus for lawfarers chronically overruled on appeal. Trump has several of their heads on pikes, but they're still practicing and gumming up dockets. If you’re a Jeff Childers, you thrive by winning on constitutional principles. Something truly meaningful would weed out hacks and resurrect tort reform. As soon as the bill has bi-partisan support, the dems and RINOs will turn away. If anything looks good to conservatives then it will be tossed.

True sort of. My husband said the bill is only as good as administrations who will enforce it and non partisan judges who will honor it in their courts. The Dems don’t have non partisan judges, they have activist judges that are creating havoc in our court systems right now and will close their eyes to violations during Democratic administration. In this manner, for the most part, only Republican administrations will honor the bill and only conservative judges will rule for Plaintiff when the law was violated by Democrats.

Jeff should do a "Call multiplier". Pick two times in a day, say 10-10:30, and 2-2:30 EST, and have people call Johnson's office. It will be more impactful if not spread out, and also get them asking "what caused this huge surge at this particular time?" They'll find out the power of the C&C group. And best part, no USAid money needed to phony up outrage for calls like the Left does.

Further back than that. Back to J6. First amendment guarantees free speech if it is the TRUTH otherwise you have to say "it is my OPINION" not state it as true. The Bible says not to bare false witness which is lies. You can have your opinion but it cannot be presented as a fact. Treat others as you want to be treated is a social contract and as in any other contract once either party breaks the contract it is null and void. Any consequence of that break to the breaking party is justified. Kimmel broke the social contract so any consequence is justified. That is how society operates for it to work. When we ignore people that break the social contract and issue no consequences, then society breaks down. Just like in the Bible when Israel broke the contract or covenant with GOD, there is/was/will be consequences.

Expand full comment
It doesn't take Sherlock's avatar

Kimmel got in trouble for two areas. First he said those things on a network that uses public frequency owned/licensed by the government. Would be different if he said it on Youtube, Rumble, Tiktok from a fed licensing standpoint. And second, the various ABC affiliates have a right to not show ABC-corporate produced content if they find it objectionable. That hurts Corporate with $$$. (And don't forget, with the removal of the slushie USAid money finding its way back in to various media orgs and personalities, and Kennedy saying drug ads should have full disclosure in the ads that even the 'fast talker' voice over would have a problem completing in a minute or two, that impacts revenue too.) So it is good that people are now getting more serious about calumny, and we are learning to use the various levers available to us.

When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: “Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.” When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had frustrated their plan, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work. From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates; and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah. Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon.

— Nehemiah 4:14-17

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ[.]

Juju's avatar

I’m finding Uncle Wiggly’s post as well as all under it really difficult to address, like, or reply to - yet I appreciate every single voice so far. It’s a conversation we need to have while remaining cognizant that either extreme is actually not reflective of God’s word. The one extreme of remaining wholly peaceful at first seems very Christlike, makes one feel good for remaining above the fray and not caving to “sin”, but Jesus was God’s word in the flesh. No. He did not take up an actual sword/weapon against anyone but that wasn’t the purpose of His particular mission - yet he most certainly exhibited extreme anger and turned over tables in his rage when righteous anger was called for so HE gave us that example with His own life, that fighting back and anger is the right course of action to some things. I can’t help but notice that financially deceiving others in God’s house and hypocrisy by religious leaders was considered worthy of the outrage he showed, so how much more so should the mutilation, rape, and murder of innocent children be? I’d be ashamed to repress my anger in the face of that.

Of course the Old Testament gives us plenty of examples of righteous war, condoned and encouraged by God Himself. Some say that was because they didn’t yet have Jesus and I just think that’s weak sauce logic. Yes God says “Vengeance is mine” but He also works THROUGH us. He uses us to do His will. We don’t just sit back under a tree and sing kumbaya while violence rages around us. We have a duty to protect the innocent.

However, I think each of us have certain capacities - some of us are peacemakers, others are soldiers and warriors, and a whole spectrum in between. We don’t ALL have to fit into one or the other. The Holy Spirit knows what each of us can handle, and will use us accordingly. Some among us will never be able to fight back because (like Torrence,) they either are aware they are at risk of it overtaking them beyond reason and they fear slipping into a place of the other extreme where sin lies so he wisely knows his limitations and refrains, but others do not face that same risk and are the very warriors that we need. We should not judge each other for where we fall on that spectrum (unless sin is clearly being displayed,) nor should we try to appeal to others to react in the way that makes us the most comfortable. We should encourage one another to listen to the Holy Spirit within us and wisely and carefully follow His leading.

The Enemy will always work assiduously to transform Christianity and its Scripture into a pacifist religion. It's their way of disarming Christians by 'shadow banning' the Christian's Scriptural weapons of self-defense. This constitutes the Enemy's attack on Christian religion. And it is exactly the same strategy as is employed by the Enemy in unceasingly attacking the unalienable Right of the Second Amendment.

How does the Enemy accomplish his mission? He does so by cherry picking Scripture verses and by flagrantly ignoring other verses. things like 'if no one has a sword he should go out and buy one' are just plain out ignored.

Basically they did not look to the Holy Spirit for guidance and assistance but relied on their base human instincts instead.

Yet there are also men who for some supernatural reason (again, deferring to the Holy Spirit at all times,) can maintain the fight while keeping their hearts and self control pure and contained, able to not let it overtake their spirits.

It’s really getting to me. Just a few days though. I will never go back to sleep. As far as the evils of Pharma and Fauci goes, I learned about that during the AIDS crisis. I had also learned how they tried to destroy any doctors or practitioners of alternative treatments, primarily from Gary Null. He used to rage about those issues on his radio show. I hadn’t listened to Gary for years until Covid, but when I started checking in on him again, sure enough, he had spotted the scamdemic from a mile away.

"President Trump has done it again. He’s forced the Democrats to adopt his position" That is, I think, the best thing about how Trump is doing things. He doesn't force them to do anything, he lets them think they are forcing him.

Legal protections for people targeted by the government for speech is one of the things I have wanted to see. Theoretically, we have the right to protest and have our grievances heard, in reality that's just a good way to get an IRS audit or worse, plus a LOT of money in legal fees, a LOT of time wasted in bureaucratic hoop jumping, and in the end, no change is made. It isn't supposed to be like this. We are supposed to have a government FOR the people, not against them. I don't care WHO comes up with the wording for something that makes this happen, it's needed to be done for many years.

They just believe what they are told. They trust the "experts". They trust their "public servants". They trust the hosts of their MSM news program. They trust the women on The View. One of her guests in the show (sorry I can’t remember his name) is someone who works in the entertainment-media-TV space and had insider info on what has been going on w Kimmel for some time. His opinion was that Kimmel could see the axe coming because his show was tanking. So rather than work to make his show better and quit being a mouth piece for the left, he decided he would go out with a bang by becoming a “victim” - thinking it would gin up publicity and sympathy that might garner $$ and maybe even ride the leftie-wave to some unknown job. Kelly & guest questioned his market ability before the controversy because he wasn’t a real talent, his show wasn’t funny. Merck did a study once where they tested a real inert placebo against the vaccine rather than the usual fake placebo which is a combination of all the toxic ingredients minus the alleged viral antigens. When they used the fake placebo against the vaccine the injury rate was the same for both but when they did the test against a real placebo, the injury rate dropped to zero. This indicates it's the other ingredients in the vaccine, not the alleged antigens that are causing the damage to children. Those supposedly safe ingredients added to vaccines are all toxic and shouldn't be in anyone's bloodstream. You can still work on detoxification for your son but you'll need to find people who are good at this and not MDs doing "wellness" visits. I can't understand why anyone takes a healthy child to an MD for alleged wellness visits. You're inviting a fishing expedition by doctors who need to keep you coming back for more tests and shots. I went through a detox/cleanse with my naturopath and my asthma has gone away. This is something I’ve had for decades. Asthma is an autoimmune disease, treat the source and the disease will lessen.

Also I treated my allergies through an ENT I found that did allergies drops that you place under your tongue, similar to allergy shots but way more effective. I did it for a year and wow, allergies are all but managed. There are ways to be free of the pharmaceutical merry go round. It starts with healing the source of the disease. Historically over the ages the Catholic Church organization has, like any rouge power, withheld or given all manner of information and included and excluded certain ppl. It's all documented history but you need to be a critical thinker instead of fearful of their threats of hell and believe in their narrative. The Catholic Church is not the same Christian as Christ. Neither are many other religious groups who claim the Name just as many individuals are not born of the Holy Spirit who say they are. YOU KNOW I'm not the judge but THIS is about who you believe and what. God is not a God of confusion nor is He a respecter of persons. He did not establish A Pope or the office of such. He did establish Christ/Himself on the throne over heaven and all the Earth. No man can have that place of intercession but Christ. No man has been given authority to add commands to His Word. I don't have any easy suggestions other than keep looking judiciously more that you've witnessed the medical betrayal. One path I've gone down is the Nurturing Traditions traditional foods route. You have probably discovered many good ideas already. We parents often are up against an unreasonable level of systematic medical deception. It was hard for me to realize that I had been made participant in harm to my own son. But, where we were taken advantage of, we respond with the incredible commitment of fidelity to our children. You should make complaints about them for not giving informed consent. Most medical facilities have to post a Patient Bill of Rights. Hold them accountable for the part about informed consent. I have observed many a doctor and nurse practitioner giving zero or cursory informed consent. They are more likely to respond to such actions which have both internal and external disciplinary consequences. You just have to make sure it is both internal and external. I know it is a pain to do so, but imagine that it is for the benefit of your own future and that of others. Almost no one ever reports and complains. Imagine if every parent would complain about failure for informed consent.

I'm so sorry you are facing this drug induced illness with your precious son. Big Pharma has so many lies and secrets about even the passing of meds trials in research being done to decide the out comes. Covid sure opened my eyes to the billions of fees paid by the drug companies to get their drugs through causing destruction and dependance on their drugs that caused the side effects in the first place!

I was shocked and learned a lot about medications I took for years only because it was "Necessary" to keep side effects from hurting me!

If I were you I would look up this drug on how it got passed on in the trials! LOOK up FDA steps AND any fines they pay as punishment of misrepresenting the facts BUT DRUG IS STILL BEING SOLD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC! NIH AND FDA have been funding the lies and just making them pay but keeping most drugs on the shelf!

Please continue this fight for your son's health! It might take years but it's worth the fight and you will learn more about bad medications that taking anything over the counter might be scary from now on!

( Herbalist also can help find different ways to help!)

Prayers for your precious son to heal from all the medications and vaccines he has endured. Prayers for you as a loving mom that trusted your doctor without knowing even your doctor was lied to about how this drug works. Of course he might know the dark big pharma lies and making lots of prophets himself, if he's honest. The days of trust in FDA or any govt system is over. Your children and my grandchildren need protecting from here on out! I'm pray all parents will wake up and protect their babes! We have been lied to over 40 years! The cost is high, too many lives gone! 🙏

It was very painful, I could feel my bones aching and my fillings leeching. My neurological issues improved. I have chronic inflammatory response syndrome now. My doctor understands my inability to detox naturally and my mold issues exacerbated all of my autoimmune issues. Back when I was injured, the insurance dictated doctors had no idea why I couldn’t get out of bed. They told me I had depression. Took many years to find my integrative medicine doctor. I am vaccine damaged. I would not wish what I go through daily on anyone, especially not a child. ANYTHING that can be done to make them less toxic is wonderful! I look forward to actual data of bad effects from the shots, I KNOW it's real, but a lot of people are still brainwashed. People need to be able to make informed choices, not have people cramming "compliance" down their threats if they do not WANT to comply. And those of us who understand the reality often do not want to comply.

By their very nature, vaccines can NEVER be safe. Less toxic is still toxic. People should have choice when it comes to what goes into their or their children's bodies. So, what it did to me was I got the high fevers, and they turned to grand mal seizures, it left physical damage in the brain, as well as less obvious functional damage in there. This was early 1960's before people knew about vaccine problems. My parents were told it was just fevers, and I was fine. I grew up knowing I had had seizures, but that's all. I also thought everyone's brain worked like mine, and they were just better at dealing with it than me. I was 33 when a psychiatrist said "Wait, your birth date was when? And you were born where? They were doing vaccine testing there then, you fit that pattern perfectly." That's when I first found out it wasn't just that I was defective, I had been broken by my 2 year old shots... I got more info from my parents, and it all fits perfectly. Whee.

I have been dealing with damage all of my life I can remember, and have been detoxing out all I can, but there is actual physical injury to the brain that can't be repaired, probably from impact during a seizure.

I am doing the Bible Recap this year with my church. The Bible in a year with a recap by Tara Leigh-Cobble at the end of each day’s reading. I don’t think I would have made it through the Old Testament in it’s entirety without it! We are reading Ezra right now and I was struck by the telling of the rebuilding of the Temple and what is happening after Charlie Kirk’s assassination. That's what I thought you meant but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing or misinterpreting something. Yes, I know what you mean by church leaders. In high school my Lutheran pastor and Latin teacher made a pass at me. I heard God tell me to duck and run between his legs. He was straddling me. My other Lutheran pastor in 8th grade called the only black child in our class (his name is Charlie) the black eyed pea amongst the snow. If I had the bravado back then that I have now, I would have let him have it but good and would have reported this to the Wisconsin Synod. Charlie's parents had 3 children enrolled in this private Lutheran school and his dad was a garbageman. Charlie's parents spent a lot of money for their educations and that comes out of the pastor's mouth. I have never forgotten that to this day. Turned me off from church at an early age. Have a good weekend Dawn:}

I decided to do the Bible recap for many of the reasons you stated; I could never make it all the way through the OT. My eyes would glaze over. When I do the daily reading of the Bible recap, I do it on audible. You can pick from several Bible translations and under each one are several different “voices” you can choose to listen to. I usually listen to the day’s lesson while I am readying for bed. Tara Leigh’s wrap up of each day’s lessons to me, are invaluable. In fact, the CDC did not trim shots. The MMR and Varicella vaccines will still be given, beginning as young as 12 months of age, and most likely, at the same office visit, in 2 separate injections. Nothing new. Same old vaccine harming and vaccine killing. And Kennedy’s hand-picked ACIP members couldn’t even agree and declare that giving newborns an injection of anything, especially and including hep b and “vitamin” k shots, is immoral, unacceptable, and inexcusable. Nothing to applaud, celebrate, or endorse. Egregiously insufficient.

She told of a horrible bill that they passed (with Newsom's signature!) that will basically put the California dept of health in charge of vaccines forever, and they will follow the AAP's guidelines, which is "all vaccines, all the time, no excuses".

For anyone left in Cali, now may be the time to leave the state.

There was another scary provision in the Bill, which would probably allow people to jab your kid without your knowledge in school, at a medical place, or even a damn parking lot- without your knowledge as a parent, and with no ability to sue for jabbing your kid without your permission. They passed this thing without the required public commentary..
