💉 The giant cephalopod strikes again! The New York Post ran an alarming story yesterday headlined, “Omicron Subvariant XBB.1.5 Possibly More Likely to Infect the Vaccinated: Officials.”
The New York Department of Health tweeted a limited hangout yesterday admitting that New Yorkers “may be” more likely to be infected by the Kracken, possibly, you never know, if they’ve been VACCINATED or already had covid.
More. Likely. It’s working great! This is a solid effort by the NY DOH for the Gaslighter of the Year Award for 2023. But there’s a lot of year left!
The first one makes sense, that jabbed people are more likely to Kracked, since we’ve already seen the data showing jabbees are developing infection-inviting tolerating antibodies instead of protective killer antibodies. But the second one makes no sense. Why should recovered people be “more likely” to get a new infection?
I’d like to see the data on that one. Not that I don’t trust the public health experts at the DOH. Trust but verify.
Anyway, the New York Department of Health still said getting vaccinated, including getting a booster shot, is the “best way” to protect against hospitalization and death. So there’s a pro tip for you. It’s not taking care of yourself. Not making sure you have good vitamin D levels. Not getting enough sleep. It’s getting your booster, the same booster that makes it more likely you’ll catch the virus.
Brilliant logic! Maybe we could use these DOH experts in the Ukraine war effort somehow. We need this kind of creative gaslighting over there, too.
💉 BBC sports anchor Jennie Gow, 45, did a “quick Insta-live” with ‘exciting news’ about getting her first jab back in April, 2021.
She was super chuffed about her first spike injection, even though she had a wee difficult reaction:
Even though she felt rubbish, she kept a stiff upper lip and dutifully got her shots at least through her booster in December 2021:
This week, she was not so chuffed when she wrote on her social media she is recovering from a ‘serious stroke.’ According to Ms. Gow, the stroke “affected her speech” so she can’t work. She said she’s “desperate” to make a full recovery, but allowed it is going to take time. Here’s what she tweeted on January 13th:
I did a little digging and it appears she was feeling right dodgy just before her stroke:
It SO weird how the CDC just announced its investigation into ischemic strokes after the covalent booster in the 65+. At least we can rule out the jabs, since Jennie is too young.
Unless you think … people younger than 65, like Jennie and John Fetterman, could be stroking out too? But … they’d have told us that, right? Like they always do?
