I fully support what Zeldin said. If he doesn't also do something to totally eliminate geoengineering, which affects infinitely more than just "climate", then it will all be for naught. https://geoengineeringwatch.org/
I'm so frustrated with modern washing machines, I'm ready to go back to the old wringer machines. Anybody with one in their shed may be sitting on a gold mine.... LOL.... I really mean it about going back to one.
I laughed about the coincidence when I read this - our 20 year old washing machine died over the weekend and Mr. "the Knife" ordered the parts to fix it, which arrived yesterday. He has repaired both the washing machine and dryer several times now, and as long as we can get the parts, I don't see us purchasing new ones. New fangled bells and whistles does not mean better! Almost all of the new machines are electronic, which means more parts that break down and are possibly un-fixable.
We had a washing machine that lasted since we bought it in the early 90s that we repaired twice for a total of under $30. I really wish we had brought it with us when we moved a few years ago!
You can't repair the newfangled ones! They engineered obsolescence in, and repair out!!!
"It's cheaper to buy new machines than repair them."
They do not clean. Calling in the LG repair guys, I was informed that my washer and dryer were working perfectly. The washer loosens the dirt and the dryer tumbles it off. You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding!!!! Dryer door doesn't fit tight - a fearure, and dirt lives on the rim, instead of the filter.
Mr and Mrs Knife are doing the right thing. These appliances nowadays just dont last, they're meant to break without fix, and if it's fixable is the most expensive part so you then just spend the extra $ to get a new one.
Brand new fridge, only 6 years old at the time - bad compressor. Thankfully found replacement online and my uncle being an AC guy was able to install the new compress on our fridge.
I remember growing up and seeing my grandma have the same freaking fridge for decades.
I so long for the 80s again :(
If Musk creates a working DeLorean time machine I am buying one!
I have an 80's beer fridge on my porch. Runs in summer (100's) and winter (20's). Never a problem. My 2004 inside edition has been repaired (at great expense) 3 times.
We have a relatively new (10-15 years old) refrigerator that has issues with the ice maker. It freezes up every 6 months and Mr. Garden Lover has to defrost it. During the pandemic, Mr. Garden Lover wanted to buy a new one. We ordered it, and it never came. It was probably for the best, to be honest. Three years later, and, other than the having to defrost every six months, it’s still running.
Thankfully, Mr. Garden Lover is electronically inclined and handy.
My Kitchenaide refrig did the same thing—icemaker waterline kept freezing. The last repair guy (the 18 yr old son of the guy I called) I had come fix it spent some time (on my money) googling the problem, then asked if I had a hairdryer he could use. He directed the heat to the water line at the back, inside behind the ice catcher bin. The line thawed in about 20 min. He also suggested I fill the frig with more stuff to make it run more efficiently. Lesson learned: I have bottled water in my frig that I don’t drink but it helps with efficiency. When I leave for longer than a weekend, I stuff it with dish towels to keep the line from freezing due to less use.
My husband did this for years until the washer rusted out. He bought a new one about 3 years ago, and it's already been replaced. The frustration is real.
That factored in to the purchase of our units in that they have stainless steel drums. BTW, I saw a great use for old washer/dryer tubs as outdoor fire boxes. Set them open end up on an old car wheel. As they continue to rust out they just get better airflow!
Update: New pump and belt are in and working like champs. It appears that the old pump had been in the process of failing for a while as the tub drains much faster than it was prior to complete failure. I want to put in a plug for appliancepartspros.com, as they have reasonable prices, good stock levels, fast processing, and well-produced, informative videos on almost all of the part-related repairs one needs to do.
Speed Queen makes marvelous washing machines right here in the USA. They are uncomplicated, solidly constructed, and reliable. You can choose to use less water. The machine doesn’t decide for you.
We moved to AZ (CA refugees here) and the new house had an old Whirlpool washer and dryer that still work great. We had brought our Speed Queens with us and we keep them stored in the garage for when these inevitably give out one day.
It’s made in the US! Whoo-hoo! When my current appliances die (we all know the’re on limited time whatever their age) I will find Speed Queen! Thanks for the info!
I absolutely adore my Speed Queen washer. Their dryers are about the same as others but the washer.... it is simple, heavy duty, and uses enough water to get my clothes clean and rinsed. I do not like the smell of detergent anymore because then I know it has chemical residue. I make my own simple detergent without the harmful chemicals I found a simple recipe online and if you like it to smell good, add some essential or scented oil.
We have. a 20 year old gently used washer in our basement as a backup to our 20 year old working washing machine. I keep repairing our 15 year old dishwasher on the advice of our local appliance repair shop.
I would refer to the closing scene of "They Live", but it's a family environment here. For context, a signal that was used across the world to hide subconscious messages of compliance all around us and to hide the hideous visages of elitist aliens that otherwise looked like us. Right after the signal is cutoff a series of scenes are shown in which the aliens are exposed... Including one that (as you put it) where some laundry is "cleaned on the abs of a man/alien." when the unveiling happens. It's amidst the credits. I'd provide a link with a time index, but Youtube is messing with my video watching because of the browser I'm using.
And as an added bonus, go to bitchute.com and search for They Live and see some of the captions on the selections. You might be interested in one or two. Should you choose to watch the entire movie (link above), I'm kinda partial to the bank scene "I'm here to chew bubble gum and kick @ss. And I'm all out of gum."
Check Facebook Marketplace. It's usually full of vintage appliances for sale. You know, the ones from the 50s 60s and 70s that were not created with planned obsolescence in mind.
I visited Vienna a couple of years ago and was shocked at the efficiency and effectiveness of their washing machines. Half the size of our newest HE machines and they actually got my clothes clean - in HALF the time! I would buy one of those in a heartbeat. They also have technology in some hotel bathrooms where you can hang your clothes, close the door, push a button, and they dry your clothes super fast by sucking all the moisture out of the area.
I love that!. Turn an entire room in to a dryer. When I was in Dublin we had a washer dryer as a single unit. And for the life of me, even though there were instruction, I couldn't figure out how to make the dryer part work, so we hung out clothes on the balcony...
How does the old saying, "you can't fix stupid" when it comes to Government... I don't give them the old "well intentioned" pass when it comes to their rule making, because I have come to the conclusion that it always has been about 'power and control' and nothing these bureaucracies and especially those run by Dems and RINOs ever do anything that is good for the people.
I especially like the low flow toilets. You know about them, right? They're the ones you need to flush 4Xs if you have a BM. btw, the last time I was in Italy the toilet had a low water flush for urine & a gusher for #2 which is brilliant for intelligent water allocation.
@Pelicanus- I have a European style toilet in my master bath. Two buttons like you described. The only thing is it hangs on the wall as opposed to sitting on the floor and I'm the only one in the house willing to use it for fear of it pulling out of the wall. Truthfully, I don't like it.
I have a Dyson DC14 Animal (from 2004 or so) and a DC65 (with the ball and from 2011 or so), and the DC14 is a much better animal. My old Hoover, which weighed a ton and after a few years did not suction well, went off to college with my son and did not return.
RIGHT??!?? The infinite wisdom of the EPA says only
use these few gallons of water to wash clothes BUT your machine stinks to high heaven of mildew so you HAVE to wash the machines every few weeks, AND buy chemicals to ask odors to make clothes SMELL clean, AND but rinse aid chemicals to make dishes spot free.
PLS explain how making more chemicals which must be driven to stores, sold in massive plastic bottles, and stained into rivers saves the earth. How abt we go back using WATER— unless we live in AZ.
Most people probably know this, but using vinegar in the washing machine in the fabric softener spot is a game-changer. All massage therapists do this to get oil/lotion out of our linens. But it works a charm for body oil and sweat too, and no chemicals.
Buy a speed Queen Commercial washer. They are not cheap, but they are not electronic. AND you can have as much water as you want. Start with a spin cycle if you want. A good, solid, old-fashioned washer.
Science says that there is a cycle for everything on earth. Nothing just disappears. Things don't come from nothing and don't turn to nothing. Everything can be broken down to its lowest form. I'm not brilliant I'm just that old to have learned real science. AND I've seen enough of the "educated elitist" lie because I'm old enough to have seen them do what they said not to.
Yeah, I usually have to flush twice. There is no saving of water with that issue and it is VERY annoying. Plus these stupid laws about incandescent light bulbs. I love incandescent bulbs. I am not a fan of LED’s, but that is just me.
I don't know composting toilets are not catching on. They can be placed anywhere without plumbing or a water source. It really does not make sense to flush our waste with fresh water. Especially in places with limited water supplies.
LEDs are better than florescent, the flickering would cause my daughter to have seizures. When California first outlawed incandescent, I went and bought every bulb I could find (LEDs had just started and cost about $25 a bulb) since I couldn't imagine lighting the house with florescent.
Some of the LED bulbs I've bought seem to flicker almost imperceptibly - you don't notice unless you're in a room with them for some time. I'd like to have the CHOICE of which kind I use, TVYM.
They don't see it for what it is. They believe that their content is low fecal matter. If they had their way, we probably would not have indoor plumbing and be "fertilizing the gardens" with our morning necessary.
The issue with gas stoves is not new , this has been studied and discussed for at least 25 years. The issue is actually the long term affects of low level carbon monoxide and other combustion byproducts the occupants of the home are exposed to. Most homes have inadequate fresh air and kitchens rarely have proper exhaust ventilation for fumes. It is not that they want to ban gas stoves to be mean, it is just understood that on the large scale most gas stoves are actually harming people in their homes and most occupants are not aware of the hazardous situation. In a perfect world, when the stove fires up an exhaust fan turns on and a fresh air supply opens. Carbon monoxide poisoning is serious and long term exposure to low levels cause multiple issues. Electric stoves make things a little more fool proof for the average end user/ uninformed consumer . Personally I have a propane gas stove , if the stove is on I Crack a window. The government is not going to explain and enforce the benefits of freshair, ventilation and poor indoor air quality to the masses, it's easier to attempt a ban. The masses would probably just prefer a carbon monoxide vaccine rather than open a window or have a ventilated kitchen.
Make sure you research yours to see if you can remove the flow restrictor. It’s usually this little piece of plastic that is removable - it’s not quite Kramer’s shower head but a big improvement. Took it out of all of ours. https://youtu.be/vMITcQUe-9M
My dirt bike came with an EPA device to help the environment.
Like your low-flow shower head, it had little piece of plastic in the carb.
That restricted the throttle opening all the way. LOL
Every motorcycle dealer took them out before the bikes were sold.
The same with shot guns with a tubular magazine. You are only allowed two shots in some states. Your gun has to have a wood dowel inserted before any cartridges are loaded. Guess how long that lasts.
Ridiculous regulations that took 1,000's of hours to promulgate and were not enforced and did nothing. Except provide jobs for some college graduates sitting at their desks in WA DC.
I did that to mine and the water flow is great! There’s no way I would be able to rinse the shampoo out of my full head of hair with the restrictor in.
Or replace the shower head with a tub filler wall mount. Mine is rated 14 gal/min definitely gets the soap out of your hair and it feels great. It's like replacing you garden hose with a fire hose. Fortunate I'm on a well with no water table issues.
I watched a video of this guy who was thinking of replacing his refrigerator, which just happened to be from the 30s or 40s. It had been his grandfather’s, and, yes, it still ran. So, he bought a high efficiency refrigerator, set it up next to his grandfather’s, and tested the electricity usage. The new one was no more efficient than the one from 100 years ago. What does that tell you?
Someone gave us their jankety old fridge from their garage, supposed to be temporary. 25 years later, I got around to getting a new one, even though the very old one still ran. Bought a beautiful built-in number that cost thousands! That one lasted five years. Washers, the same story. Costs as much to fix as to buy a new one. 😖
A valid point, but most of us can't manufacture our own appliances. Producers need to be confident that there will be a market, and many consumers aren't as thoughtful as you.
And clean up my personal environment by getting the fluoride out of the public water and taking the $440 fine off of the sale of incandescent lightbulbs. And stop spraying the metals into the chemtrails.
Not sure what government agency is responsible for the geo engineering we see in our skies daily? It’s certainly an EPA issue, since it’s poisoning America. It’s got to be DOD. Just when I am hopeful that Trump is making incredible progress fixing America, I look up to the sky and realize the Satanists are still in charge.
The list of geoengineering projects is on NOAA. All projects, private and government are required to report the projects and descriptions on a NOAA website. I scanned that site not too long ago.
What I read was that RFK halted them but the contractors were immediately picked up by DOD. We had about 5 days of clear blue skies in SC before BAM-we're back.
I'd like to know what companies manufacture the product they're using for the "cloud seeding" (what the local water district calls it) What company(s) produce the "seeds" the planes "plant" in the sky to grow the extra rain?
Used to live in SW WA. Every clear day, chem trails in the morning that whiten the sky by 2pm. For a place with so little sun, why do they want to cover up the sun? Or is it the goal to poison the ground and everything living on it, including people?
The Deep State is loaded with insane people that consider humans a scourge and would like to eliminate most of us. 500,000,000 was the goal described on the now blown up Georgia Guidestones.
They work with WEF that hawks transhumanism, there is no God, by 2030 we will own nothing and be happy. Watch a Ted Talk by Yuval Harari. He has black eyes and no Soul-convinced of that. My hair stands on end when I see him. He is a WEF junkie.
Geoengineering, raining down nano particles of aluminum, barium, copper, manganese, ecoli, fluoride, polymer fibers and more is killing the soil biomass. Plants do currently survive, of course, but are up taking the above and eventually being eaten by the consumer. Could account for what you're tasting?
I was an avionics technician in the Air Force. I worked on planes. I’ve seen the aircraft, the nozzles, and the chemical tanks inside.
Willful ignorance is a dangerous affliction, my friend.
Not sure what color it is, but I know it’s a bitter pill to swallow that governments don’t give a flying ____ about their citizens, but it’s too ubiquitous to pretend otherwise. For the life of me, I cannot fathom the refusal to educate one’s self, but instead desperately cling to “the narrative.”

Nope. Contrails are not long and they vaporize quickly. Chemtrails run all the way across the sky and stay for a while. If you doubt this, look at a real contrails. Then look at a Chemtrails. If you are lucky, you will have one of each in the sky at the same time. That is how I convinced my husband of the difference. There is NO comparison.
Jeff, you are absolutely right about the scientific papers. Yours is a fantasy suggestion. The fact that at least two publishers of big name journals stepped down for the same reason over a decade ago, and that John Ioannidis (later harassed for his early work on Covid) published this https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1182327/ in 2005 and nothing changed, shows exactly how rotten, paid for and censured our “science” is.
It is not only Sanders and Warren who should have the names of their sponsors on their jerseys.
I agree. Gone into overdrive the last few days. Jet trails can be seen by the light of the silvery moon in the early morning hours. Never saw this before.
Years ago ( BC) I called EPA, ( actually got a hold of a person) and told them I wanted to file a complaint about the chemtrails. She replied that she didn’t know what I was talking about. “The lines in the sky!” I said. She feigned ignorance. She had no idea what I wanted to complain about. They were purposely ignoring the issue, denying that there was an issue, probably because someone higher up said to.
i am with you. I was hopeful with the USAID changes and it even seemed we had a week or so of respite. but mow again, they are in abundance wherever I travel.
Ask any “climate-change-soldier” how much Carbon Dioxide is in earth’s atmosphere — and you’ll get guesses between 30% and 75%. The reality is, it’s .04%. Think about that for a minute — Plants “require” C02 to undergo photosynthesis — which produces OXYGEN for air breathing mammals. The idea that we need to somehow drop our current .04% to something less is ABSURD! Plants need mammals and mammals need plants for the opposite reasons. The Global-Warming-Hoax is imbecilic from the get go. According to “Climate-Experts” there are 3-Trillion Trees in the world — and each one (on average) is capable of absorbing 25 kg per year. Now look up how much C02 is emitted per year and it’s 7 gigatons (7-billion tons). So if there are an estimated 3 Trillion trees absorbing 25kg of C02 per year — we’re absorbing 10.71 “more” kilograms of C02 (per Tree) than we’re supposedly emitting according to the experts. Oh, and by the way, that’s not even counting all other plants — in addition to the Plankton in our oceans. Bottom line, they’re full of Shiitake Mushrooms!
Just sayin — 🤔
PS — I’m NOT an accomplished statistician/mathematician — so feel free to blow up my argument, I’m an adult…they’re only words…ha-ha!
Think back to when they put up the first wind turbines. The Sierra club went crazy screaming about all the damage to the migratory birds. They were doing surveys of the ones killed, such as our eagles. Then, like magic they just stopped protesting, Hmmm......
Now those horrible things litter the country side where the wealthy urbanites don't live, producing little but eye sores, the blades cannot be recycled, they are making about 1/2 expected life, they chop them into sections and bury them!!!!! Go Green!! Another way for the government to soak up back door money. Those type of people have no care or common sense. Sad,
I agree. Here in Southern CA, Monday the day before the rains came in on Tuesday, thick lines in the sky criss crossing ALL DAY from morning to evening! Then… wallah!!!… LOTS OF RAIN!!! So disturbing for me!!
Thank you for sharing this, John. I often reflect on how arrogant it is for man to believe he can control God’s creation. As a Christian, I see geoengineering as a misguided attempt to ‘fix’ what God has already perfectly designed. And ultimately, what good will it do? Jesus will restore all things in His time.
Me, too! My own theory is that Jeff is actually 3 identical triplets: one of them sleeps regularly and putters around the house, one of them runs a brilliant law practice and sleeps whenever, and one of them writes like a madman and only sleeps on Sunday. Just my opinion, of course.
Jeff, I love your last article about the "fake science" going on at the major journals like The Lancet, and your suggested solution of allowing all sides of an issue to be published. I also love your suggestion forcing "peer reviewers" to reveal their names and any conflict of interest, instead of being able to bash any paper they don't like under the cover of anonymity.
Re: the shoddy state of so-called peer reviewed science. Love the idea of crowdsourcing and community notes. But just remember, that effectively was the same model and approach used for the first 10 or 15 years of Wikipedia.
It worked great, until the last seven or eight years, when the monied globalists took over, and hired ‘editors’ to remove all content that didn’t align with their narrative and propaganda. We will need to figure out some way to prevent this from happening again.
I barely even paid attention to Wikipedia and consciously ignored it when I found out that anyone could go in an edit the contents. I was concerned that "edits" would foster relative truth, another concept that needs to be placed on the ash heap of history.
The community noting idea is fantastic! It really is something that's not just unethical and dangerous to anyone receiving care from these brainwashed doctors, but the incoming cohort of doctors and nurses are learning from all of the newest research! So as we know it gets more murky and further from the truth as time passes, so too are the current students of medicine more thoroughly indoctrinated by conflicts of interest and big pharma $$!!! It is quite terrifying if you think about it. Makes international medical treatment seem more and more appealing.
In the science world, there is a category called a "pre-print" that basically operates this way. I had a proper critical review (hypothesis testing) of work that polar bear specialists had been producing that I couldn't get through the gate-keeping of traditional peer review. So I published it with a pre-print server. Even though the same gatekeepers could have publicly criticized the paper online, they would have had to leave their names. They also didn't want to acknowledge that such a sound critique existed, so instead they simply continued to bad-mouth me in the press. It's just how they operate.
I may be late to the party but I would nominate a model similar to StackExchange, originally for programmers but now serving many disparate communities. Someone posts a question (or article, etc). Others get to post. Others get to upvote or downvote on how helpful the responses are. Oh, and all are verified humans.
And there is a rating for each user based on participation and acceptance of each submission.
So peer-review can be done with tracking in a fairly automated fashion.
They can’t just publish every piece of schlock that gets written. But I hate how they’ve been retracting and disallowing any paper that goes against the vax narrative! Any published paper has had to start with praising the hallowed death vax as “saving millions of lives” even to be considered. Makes my blood boil!
Carbon is a lie, but electric vehicles are a bigger danger. The recent EV battery factory explosion in CA is destroying our farmland, and wildlife. That's where the EPA needs to be, right now:
Electric car batteries are recyclable, with the latest technology allowing up to 95% of the raw materials to be recovered. Governments globally are mandating EV batteries to be designed and manufactured in an easily recyclable way.
Beyond recycling, EV batteries can be upcycled, reused, or repurposed after they have outlived their long initial life in your car.
Electric mobility is undoubtedly becoming the new norm, with electric vehicle (EV) sales breaking global records every year.
EVs are, by themselves, are not a magic solution by themselves. However, they are a valuable tool for reducing emissions from transportation and a far more sustainable alternative to fossil fuel-powered cars. While their production and end-of-life have a negative impact on the environment, their overall carbon footprint is much lower than fuel-burning vehicles when compared over the life cycle. And with the innovation in the sector moving forward in leaps and bounds, the EVs of tomorrow are likely to extend the sustainability gap with traditional vehicles.
You must sell them. Rental companies are ditching the darn things. No one wants to drive a long distance in them. Very unreliable and they burn like crazy!
They may be recyclable, but are they actually recycled in a way that is conducive to keeping the environment safe from harm? What happens to the non recyclable parts when the battery is burned? How toxic are they? How are they disposed of? How about the filters for the exhaust for when they are burned? How are they disposed of. These parts of the recycling process are left out of the equation.
In addition, there is always talk about the emissions, but what about the extra wear and tear on the roads due to the weight of an EV? The tires that need to be replaced more often? The particle generated by the wear and tear and the tires? None of these things, and a host of others are ever added into the balance of if an EV is actually better for the environment or not.
I have no opinion on whether an EV is better, worse or indifferent all told for the environment because I can't find the actual facts I need to make a decision. EV blogs are going to tell you that EVs are great. Everything is great, until someone finds out it's not. JMO
Great questions Kalinda! The type many should be asking. They are extremely toxic, and cause many fires. We have to ask - when on Earth, literally, were precious metals ever spewing into the atmosphere? They weren't. They were always buried deep in the ground.
The tires that need to be replaced more often? Nonsense!
The non-recyclable parts when the battery is burned, and the filters for the exhaust for when they are burned are disposed of, is considered into the balance if an EV is actually better for the environment or not.
You need to be more widely read, mate.
The bullshit you hear from your anti-EV buddies at the pub is just that...bullshit!
Have to a link that shows that the burning is figured in? I'd really like to see one.(real and true, I'd like to see one) And I don't know any anti EV people. I'm certainly not. I am a " give me some facts I can research" person.
And yes, every person I know with an EV has gone through tires half again in the same mileage as every person I know who doesn't have one (and doesn't drive a truck). Anecdotal, to be sure, but there is evidence it is true.
I did not know this. I was basing my comment on my previous understanding. Thank you for your comment/post. I still think there is an economic challenge in the non-developed/emerging world. But perhaps China will (or has) decided they will subsidize it to own it? I also don't think an all electric solution is the path forward, but that is purely my opinion, so take it for what it's worth, not much. ;-)
1- don't buy Tesla or any EV car or lawnmower, etc
2- raise awareness at the local govt level about EV and EMF dangers in manufacture, and how much of a liability this is for insurance at the municipal level.
3- Deport Musk back to South Africa would be a start, in my humble opinion.
I love Elon. I would never imagine a rocket booster being caught by a standing tower … he thinks outside the box. I am also very grateful for what DOGE is revealing. Who would have thought a year ago that our government could be audited to this degree. He has a brilliant mind and doesn’t have selfish intentions.
His country of origin is South Africa. He is there to help restructure government in the final phase of the Great Reset....new world order. Also, his part in creating a transhuman world.
Read about his background. Research his grandfather. You have no knowledge of Musk's capabilities.
Your response is interesting and not just because I agree.
The Bible says the End Times will be like a woman in labor, which is understood to mean times of great pain followed by a reprieve. I think Trump/Musk et. al. is our reprieve....like an intermission of sorts.
Most don't want too consider a possible connection in this way.
What if he knew your feelings exactly, and was using it against you to build the ultimate control grid?
He's got: SpaceX: Satellite dominance = full-scale global surveillance. (They know where you are, who you’re with, and what you’re doing—always.)
Tesla: Autonomous vehicles = state-controlled movement. (You don’t decide where you go—or at the very least, you can’t do it without the system knowing.)
Neuralink: Brain-computer interface = the death of independent thought. (Forget propaganda—when your brain is wired into the system, you don’t need to be convinced. You can be overridden.)
X (formerly Twitter): Information control = the foundation of a social credit system. (A "free speech" platform turning into a “everything app” that just so happens to be building a government-approved payment network. Gee, I wonder where this is going.)
Grok: AI oversight = the all-seeing algorithmic eye. (The system monitors, judges, and enforces its will—not based on law, but on whatever the machine decides is "optimal.")
You don't even know enough about him to know how to return him to his country of origin. You don't even know enough about him to know that he hasn't gotten to the EPA yet. Hmmm.
EVs are, by themselves, are not a magic solution by themselves. However, when fossil fuel becomes uneconomical, they are the only alternative to fossil fuel-powered cars. And with the innovation in the sector moving forward in leaps and bounds, the EVs of tomorrow are likely to extend the sustainability gap with traditional vehicles.
Numerous studies on vehicle safety have shown that internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, including those that run on gasoline or diesel, experience 60 times more fires than electric vehicles (EVs).
With 1,530 fires per 100,000 vehicles compared to EVs’ 25 fires, this contrast is just one of many findings reshaping how we understand road safety and public health.
I hope eliminating those regulations spells the death knell for EVs. A lot of car manufacturers have already reduced their EV production. As the EV cars already on the road age, there are more and more stories coming out about the cost of the batteries to replace. Talk about an environmental disaster, once the battery has to be replaced those cars go to the junk yard. It’s a one and done deal. 10-12 year life span is it and there’s really not much of a resale market. I personally have a 30 year old car, a 20 year old car, a 12 year old car and a 7 year old car, still drivable and not in the trash pile yet. EVs won’t get that life span.
The Tesla Model Y was the best-selling car model World-wide in 2024, topping 1.09 million sales.
ICE cars are soon to be consigned to the dustbins of history.
Your ICE car may still be running, SB, but you won't be able to afford run it.
Gas will soon be $30/gallon ~ if attainable. It's sooner than you think.
And with less and less ICE cars being manufactured, the spare parts for them are going to become rarer than rocking horse manure. Just as horse buggies have.
And the junk yards are soon going to be empty of repairable transmissions and engines.
Regarding the EPA- I want to know about dishwashers (I want a 45 minute cycle), washing machines (I want to use as much water as I want) and light bulbs. Any news on those?
Yes! Got a new dishwasher last year … dumb thing has a 3 hour cycle … for pities sake! Growing up, our dishwasher was admittedly loud, but done in 45 minutes … and the dishes were actually dry.
There would be an economic boom in itself. If appliances go back to actually working, I’d bet most women would run out and buy a whole new set … dishwasher, washer / dryer, refrigerator, toilets, etc.
Well, thank you! You just saved me $800+ b/c I'm not buying a new dish washer that takes 3 hrs. I'll stick with my loud 40 minute cycle monster, thank you! Plus, I can fix it myself!
While growing up, we had the same dishwasher my entire life. I have replaced mine every five years! Repairmen say if they’re over five years not to repair them it’s cheaper to replace them. It is infuriating! We don’t even buy the cheapest ones.
I used to be a kitchen aide tech, back in a previous life before the power plant. The old kid models were literally made to last a lifetime. Now they are difficult to find. No electronics, just good old fashioned stoutness. And the commercial lab versions of the same machines, just used stainless racks. Otherwise identical. Sothe home versions were commercial machines made for home use. I turned one into a parts washer running solvent I used for decades.
I actually don't mind the new dishwasher running longer, because mine does a great job cleaning them. If the machines can actually use less water running the cycle longer and the dishes come out clean, I am happy to just wait and turn it on before I go to bed. Then I wake up with clean dishes AND conserve water.
Exactly. I still can't seem to find anywhere in the Constitution that authorizes Congress or the Executive branch the authority to regulate what kind of dishwashers we can have (including interstate commerce - that clause is for the free flow of commerce between the states so that they are not taxed between states.
Alison, if you need any 100 watt incandescent bulbs, let me know because I have a bazillion. I was furious when obama began outlawing them so stocked up, just on principle. I’m thinking of giving them away with all my next Christmas gifts. LOL.
Plus LED lights do NOT LAST! more expensive and go out more often. We replaced ALL our lights so last January and already had lights going out. I’m not a fan
Last night, I flipped a light switch and the LED bulb in the fixture exploded with a pop and glass rained down. It was so startling. Incandescents never did that to me! Absolutely HATE the LEDs, even before the explosion. (PS That LED bulb was probably three years old, max.)
I’m shrieking, Starsky!!! I don’t even use 100s that much but was so furious I bought them anyway. But I’m with you - could use some 60s in a trade. LOL
Very. When my children were young, decades ago, I wanted to form an organization to end DLS. I called it MADS - Mothers Against Daylight Savings. Never did it because I was too busy raising children, ironically enough.
It might be nothing but an inconvenience for those of you in southern states but it is a lifesaver for those of us in northern states to have more of our daylight during the hours that most people are awake. Starting to get daylight at 4am instead of 3am is so much better. I'll give you that the time change isn't fun.
How far north are you? I have lived in New York and been in Western and northern Europe and never experienced a sunrise at 3am or even 4am. In Northern Europe it does stay light until about 10pm in the summer though (with daylight savings). Once you are at a higher latitude (say Finland) your days are much longer in the summer regardless. Sorry, I won’t be convinced to support this craziness especially just having gone through the switch and still suffering the consequences almost a week later.
Longer time without water in the washing machine and the dishwasher doesn't help! I would replace my appliances in a heartbeat to get ones that use sufficient water. Green Grifters never stop to think that you are either using more water or more electricity. Even with recycling...you have to wash the recyclables before putting them in the bin but we aren't supposed to be using water 🙄...Go figure
My county doesn’t recycle anymore. This isn’t widely known so we still put out garbage and recycle bins but it goes to the same place. I was informed of this by a representative from the waste management company.
I have read several places that there are really only two items that it pays economically and environmentally to recycle and they are tin and cardboard. I hate it that plastics aren’t included in that but from what I understand, when we recycle plastics, they are simply sent to other countries which don’t dispose of them properly and that’s how so much of it ends up in the oceans. I’d rather have it in landfills. So if we have large cardboard, we take it to recycling but other than that, we do not.
I read an article a year or two ago, and the gist of it was that the CEOs of major appliances companies like whirlpool were telling the EPA that the appliances being engineered today are at max efficiency, and if the EPA continued to mandate higher conservation levels every year, the machines would begin to lose efficacy.
I have to add the “Sani Rinse” cycle to get all the dishwasher detergent off the dishes. It adds even more time to the process, and uses more water, but otherwise I see soap bubbles in the cups and glasses. That can’t be healthy!
We have a vacation home in Idaho and there’s no trash service, just a county dump with about 15 big dumpsters out on the way to the main road. Being from California, it took me awhile to get used to throwing everything (cardboard is the exception, they do have separate dumpsters for that) into the trash. Now I love it. No rinsing or sorting, just into the trash it goes.
Although I do miss recycling glass bottles and I wish more of our products came in glass. I don't believe there is any place to recycle glass in my area anymore.
Incandescents are/were full spectrum unlike the LEDs that are manufactured with increase blue light, which eventually damages the human eye. The increased blue color has been proven (from the '40's) to be addictive (increases dopamine) which is why slot machines, TV screens, computer screens and cell phones are intentionally manufactured with an increase in blue color.
LEDs also are manufactured with a surveillance component:
"The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue." Mr. Horton, Sir..... I salute your optimism. With the number of government grants (control mechanisms) being doled out coupled with rampant scientific "holier-than-everything" egoism I suspect the science is about as trustworthy as a Wikipedia entry or 10 day weather forecast.
My son is a bio-medical engineering PHD student and should graduate in the next couple of months. He has been writing papers for a while. Some get published and some get sent back. What I found to be interesting was the ones sent back were not because of what was written but because some science journals have gate keepers who don’t even forward to peers to review. I wonder if they are being selective in what actually gets to peers to review. My son is working cancer research … no chemicals or radiation involved. They have been very successful. I imagine them curing breast cancer without cutting off a breast or putting harmful toxics into the body… this was the conversation he and I had last night.
There are cures. The PTB make damn sure those cures don't hit mainstream. Most of them get confiscated and shut down under The National Security Act being labeled threats to society.
Check out Dr. Paul Marik's book on new treatments for cancer that has been shut down, taken off amazon bc it goes against the narrative. I believe from much resistance from people like us, it is back on amazon. He is part of the IMA, formerly FLCCC docs.
Cancer was proven to be 100% curable in a clinical trial in 1934 using Sympathetic Resonance Frequency Medicine. Anyone can purchase the equipment and do it themselves. MDs are not allowed.
It would be because it would threaten a muti-multi billion $ and super profitable business (cancer, not the cure of). It would be the David vs Goliath fight of the century. But there are brave souls out there still fighting to really cure cancer outside the fake healthcare system. Good for him!
Dare I say it? Medicine isn’t the only science suffering from magicians, prevaricators and buffoons. The science of cosmology has big problems too, like space telescopes that don’t actually SEE anything, world-famous theoretical physicists that admit cosmology is nothing more than KABALLAH, and hundreds (or thousands) of now-declassified government and military documents that reference a “flat, non-rotating earth.” Now throw that all under the purview of the one, $25 billion-a-year government agency oft-described as “lying routinely,” NASA (Never A Straight Answer). Do you really think you can trust ANYTHING that agency says? If so, I’ve got a nice moon rock to sell you. 😏 https://phys.org/news/2009-09-moon-fake.html
If you really want to advance FET…..Just once I’d like to see a legit, working model for a flat earth = One that explains time-zones, lunar and solar eclipses, the 4 seasons, why northern hemisphere stars dip below the horizon as you go south, etc.
Yes, I know how you feel, because I’m still waiting for a working globe model, even though the white coats have supposedly had 2,000 years to perfect it. The answers you seek have already been answered. It’s up to you to find them. I already did my homework.
Lame reply. I figured as little. Hiding behind ignorance isn’t going to convince people to join your cause. And by the way, I have looked. there’s nothing out there. Thanks for nothing.
I love it when people on Twitter come back at me with Wikipedia articles. Then again, they also come at me with the aforementioned articles from reputable scientific journals of questionable merit.
As a former resident (with an apt still in the city), NY is rotting - it’s terribly managed. The UWS is dirty and gross and it just gets worse as time passes…Democrats deserve to live in their filth.
That's the problem....as a WA state native living in Kalifornistan (since 1984) where can we go? My hubs & I had talked about retiring in Orygun (😉) but once the Looney Left took over up there, our enthusiasm waned. And now that the California Diaspora has ruined real estate markets EVERYWHERE, and revived the "Don't Californicate _______" (write in your location here) Campaign, we're screwed. Hunkering down and trying to enjoy our perfect weather while watching our nice small town turn into another Cali Gangland and Sanctuary City for the Turd World (as they say in Ireland). 🙄😒😓
Left CA 5 years ago during the pandemic after a lifetime living on the coast. Moved to GA. People are nicer here and everything is pretty laid back compared to CA. But...the weather is hard to get use to compared to the almost perfect CA weather. Would not go back for any reason whatsoever. Laughed when I saw the supposedly self funded bronze bust of Newsome that he put up at city hall. Tells you all you need to know.
My dad had a bumper sticker on his truck that said Montana is full. I hear North Dakota is nice. That was when California took over Montana starting in the 80s and now you can’t afford to live there.
We lived in MA for twenty years because of my husband’s business and decided to leave when covid hit. It was suffocatingly authoritarian!
Come to Florida. We’ve gained almost one million new Republican voters (MAGA) so hopefully will continue to be well governed for many years to come. We have no state income tax and people in North Florida are welcoming and friendly. The issues are the heat from June to September and hurricanes although having grown up here, it’s always something no matter where you live so…”Ya’ll come!”
Yes! Memphian here. All of the South vacations in “North Florida,” the Panhandle. Beautiful weather and white sand, clear blue water! New Yorkers et al dominate south Florida.
Depends on what kind of climate you desire. You can also go on line to check out tax situation in each state. Many heading to Tennessee because of low property taxes and reasonable climate. If you want to be near the coast, North or South Carolina nice. I have relatives in Charleston and flooding can be an issue there so maybe you don't want to be too close to the coast ; )
Many people who come to TN can't handle the storms especially when tornados are forecast (rarely occur) but that's part of the weather here. It's always been that way - severe thunderstorms, possibly some ice storms and some snow in the winter, and tornados. Side note: It was always strange to me that in CA they have thunder warnings. Not thunderstorm warnings...thunder warnings.
Knoxville seems to be improving although kind of depressed yet and is close to the Appalachians for hiking and the great outdoors. I think it will be a nice city in a few more years.
Idaho! Great people, stunningly gorgeous and quite red. Plus tons to do in the Boise area on a day to day basis. Then there's the rest of the state to explore well beyond that. Yellowstone isn't too far either.
I’ll see your NYC rot and raise you two SFs and a Portland rot! And you better think long and hard about calling me because I still have Seattle and LA rots in my pile!
Your east coast rot will never be a match for our west coast rot!
In Oregon which is a horrible liberally run state for the past 4 decades many of us have no choice but to live next door to a liberal Democrat or someone who could care less about government. There are only are roughly 3.4 million people in the entire state. About 1 million are Democrats, 800K are Republicans, 250K are with other parties and 1.2 Million are unaffiliated with any political party. We could change the state if the 1.2 million unaffiliated would vote for common sense but they chose not to.
Oregon cannot change until mail in voting is eliminated. Multnomah County is the cheat place. We lived in Portland for over twenty years and over and over, when the Repub was up, it all changed in the wee hours of the night. Chris Dudley was a prime example of the cheat.
I participated in the peer review process years ago and saw it was corrupt back then. Friends reviewing friend’s papers, not digging into the data, not challenging the statistical analysis—all very lazy. And papers with conclusions contrary to dogma were declined. What a racket.
I knew the paper in question was propaganda within the first paragraph, usually as soon as they state things like "Covid-19 is dangerous and deadly" and "masks are controversial." You realize the rest of the study would be to convince you that masks work.
I bet you didn't realize we are at war with Canada. There is a reason Trump talks about Canada as a 51st state. The world order is undergoing, for lack of a better word, a makeover. A 500 year civilization cycle is coming to an end and with it the end of a unipolar world where the USG Empire (backed by the British Crown) rules the world.
The war for American independence that went kinetic in 1775 and again in 1812 never really ended. The independence movement lost when the US became enslaved to the international banking system with the passage of the Federal Reserve Act and the ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment (income tax) in the same year. Trump represents a new offensive for independence. Uprooting the US deep state and their NeoCons is just the opener. The offensive is being taken overseas with the objective of uprooting the established international order once and for all.
Communism, republicanism and "democracy" are being tossed on the trash heap of history. They have long since lost any power as effective political models. We have ringside seats to the uprooting and replacement of the world order that has ruled for the last 500 years. The old corrupt families (the British Crown/City of London, the Rothschilds/BIS and the Vatican) that have ruled and profited off the wars for centuries are being displaced and dispossessed.
The Trump regime (and I use that word advisedly) is the tip of the spear of these changes. Not only is he literally unseating the deep state in the US but he is also going to war with the international deep state which is even more significant. The pace of the changes in the international order are happening just as fast as the pace of the changes we are watching here in the US.
It appears that the Trump regime is set on dispossessing the international banking system by moving against the Federal Reserve and taking the dollar off of their enslaving monetary debt system. They are also moving against the established international order that forever perpetuates war in Europe and Southwest Asia.
Carried to conclusion, the changes the Trump regime represents will completely re-write the history books................................................................
The US Doesn't Need 40 Million New Democrat Voters from Canada
CENTRAL BANK-ABETTED FRAUD HAS CREATED A REAL ESTATE BUBBLE IN BOTH COUNTRIES, AS THE DRUG MONEY HAS BEEN LAUNDERED INTO REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS & AS BLACKSTONE HAS BOUGHT UP SUBDIVISIONS. EAT ZE BUGS
...I don't advocate that Canada become the "51st State". I don't think the US needs 40 million new Democrat voters. But the more I begin to see what's been obfuscated and what's been happening with the fentanyl money-laundering, the more that I would like see an alliance between Canada and the US, away from the tyranny of Europe and to stop the Chinese takeover of Canada.
Frank Vaughan says, "Canada has a choice: the World Economic Forum and China or the United States and Continentalism. And I'm a Continentalist."
This is war so I doubt either Frank or I have any say in this matter but his opinions should be known. I've never heard a Canadian talk like this!
A beautiful, small neighborhood near me with gorgeous 100 year old live oak trees has been leveled, bought out, destroyed, to "put up a parking lot" next to a local mega-hospital. Your tax dollars hard at work?
"CENTRAL BANK-ABETTED FRAUD HAS CREATED A REAL ESTATE BUBBLE IN BOTH COUNTRIES, AS THE DRUG MONEY HAS BEEN LAUNDERED INTO REAL ESTATE INVESTMENTS & AS BLACKSTONE HAS BOUGHT UP SUBDIVISIONS. EAT ZE BUGS"
Whatever the currency is, it needs to be gold backed. Not sold on a digital currency that can be monitored - which will always be a risk/threat when the gov. is involved.
Monitored, and (as it were) turned off with the flip of a line of code. Nope. As a speculative investment vehicle, yes, but not ready for prime time as a reserve currency.
So this is an interesting and increasingly important statement. Crypto, as in bitcoin and the networks that have been created to facilitate its ability to be liquid and usable, are the biggest threat on the planet to the established governments and banking systems. The governments hate this, and hate doesn't even come close to describing how bad they loathe this. Watch this space, closely.
I used to think criminals were behind the bitcoin phenomenon. I have a greater understanding that the real criminals have been behind our government currency. The Fed defacing our currency by printing it and USAID handing it out like from a Pez dispenser around the world shows us there is NO fiduciary responsibility towards We The People who produced the value behind it. The disrespect towards Americans is astounding! Even those who received USAID handouts hate the USA.🇺🇸 Who can blame them?
Seriously, I can easily see the Trump regime annexing both Canada and Mexico. In addition, the Canadian and Mexican populations would favor this change. They are fed up with their corrupt, foreign owned gov'ts. I think these annexations will be necessary to counter China's movement into Mexico and Canada. China is using the cartels in these two countries to wage war upon America. Also, they have built out the cartel's infrastructure in the US and they now operate in all 50 states. This is clearly a war and we have to end it - soon.
Functionally, Canada has 10 provinces and 3 territories. I think Canada would involve creating at least 10 new states. This is also why I take Trump's statements about Greenland seriously as another annexation. The European powers would stroke out over this! Our response will be, "Go suck on a pickle." The USG empire is morphing into something new just as the BRICS formed something new in response to the Biden regime's aggression. This is no longer a unipolar world.
We will have to wait and see how the regime changes the monetary system. In "some" form there will be a move to incorporate gold. It is the only "real" asset, that and a nation's territory. Trump is playing the monetary cards close to his vest but right now there is a TON of private gold flowing into this country for safe haven from the European war the smart money sees coming and they are getting the heck out of Europe. The "Ft. Knox audit" also figures into this for the Trump team but I do not expect that is going to be made public.
At this point, there is only a lot of speculation.
QUESTION: Hi Marty, Many in Canada seem to be taking President Donald Trump’s talk about making Canada the 51st US state seriously... Can Trump annex Canada? That seems far-fetched.
ANSWER: ...The real question is simply national pride vs. economics. Which is more important?... This is a coin toss, and it is really a question for the Canadian people, but that is hard with the propaganda the politicians put out to preserve their own jobs. Personally, I would be for Florida splitting and becoming our own country – forget the pride, it’s about economics first.
With this comment, Armstrong alludes to an underlying problem that needs to be highlighted which is the question of whether or not the US will remain one country. China is using the cartels in Mexico and Canada as proxies to wage war on all of America. The Marxist Obama/Biden regime facilitated that war for China and the Canadian and Mexican governments were only too happy to go along with China. The powers behind the Trump regime arose to not only throw out these Marxist usurpers in the US but to destroy them.
The Marxists were nearly successful in permanently splitting the US into pieces. Internally, we are now a divided country: Red states vs Blue states, woke mob vs traditional Americans, Marxism vs Christianity. Make no mistake, we are at war both internally (red vs blue) as well as with China and the cartels (see comment above).
One of two things will happen. (Mind you, everything I say is speculation.) 1 - The Trump regime annexes our neighbors, literally goes to war against the cartels and China's influence in a major military operation that encompasses both Mexico and Canada AND the cartels infrastructure inside the US or... 2 - The US splits into regional governments according to their Red or Blue loyalties. Or a combination of the above.
I have to believe this war is going to get very kinetic, even in our backyards. Trump has already set the stage by declaring the cartels as terrorist organizations and enemy combatants. This enables the deployment of the US military against the cartels to defend America from our enemies both foreign and DOMESTIC. The cartels will fight back. Additionally, there are tens of millions of single military age men in the US who hate America. Billions of dollars as well as China's proxy war are at stake. In all of this, Trump's problem will be to keep the American people unified. But if necessary, each state has the ability (except for the broke woke ones) to survive a breakup of the US. Either way, conflict is coming to America. Europe's future on the other hand is not near so rosy, except as a radioactive crater.
I've thought for quite some time that the US will break into regional governments, probably around red and blue borders.State borders will need to be redrawn. If this occurs, it will be very very messy. So enjoy the day!
Addendum: The situation with our neighbors is the same as the situation of Russia with Ukraine. Russia faces a "country" (which never existed prior to 1991 and is a NATO cutout) on it's border that is being used by NATO in a proxy war to attack Russia. America faces a country on each of it's borders that is being used by China in a proxy war to attack America.
If I were Trump (thank goodness I am not), I would tell Putin that we will permanently demilitarize both NATO and Ukraine to secure Russia's border IF Russia will get China to back off when we attack the cartels in Canada and Mexico. Tit for tat.
Crypto currency could go wrong, and in a big way. It's programmable. "Stable coins" under the purview of private entities that do not have to follow the Constitution could be used to enforce social credit schemes.
One building I designed for was developed by a former pilot who made his money importing illegal drugs to Canada. He put it into developing real estate. Another developer trying to build a hotel in Niagara Falls made his money selling drugs until he was caught and the hotel wasn't finished until bought by another builder (my customer).
The political rhetoric is non-threatening but if Trump moves to eliminate the Federal Reserve and also moves to eliminate the Fed Income Tax, that is a revolt against the international banking system. This would also necessarily involve establishing the US dollar on a completely new and independent basis. There is a lot happening.
The Federal Reserve was the enslavement of the American citizen to the international banker's debt system which replaced the credit system of the American currency. The Federal Income Tax Act was the shackles of enslavement to this system placed on every American.
I'm not the only one that sees the significance of what's happening...........................
Unfolding Now: A Global 1776 Revolution Against the Collapsing British Empire
Huge news today and some can't-miss special reports and book review videos.
First, I'm unveiling details about the "global 1776 revolutionary war" against the corrupt, collapsing British Empire that has enslaved much of the world for centuries.
Then I bring in Tina from the Satellite Phone Store to announce a new partnership with StarLink for affordable satellite bandwidth solutions that may interest a lot of you...
The powers behind Trump are not publicly visible but they are huge. This revolt against the established order must have been gamed at least a decade ago. This is not the work of just one man. My first clue was when he picked Vance, a DC outsider, as VP. That was like a light bulb. From there it just kept getting bigger.
I always try to figure out where things are going, but since Trump took office I just pray he knows what he’s doing and that he doesn’t screw us. I gave him a pass for Operation Warp Speed, but …..
This is a moral imperative. There must be accountability for the plandemic democide. Those in the US military responsible is a big problem Trump will have to deal with.
Why did you give him a pass for the genocide of millions? It will be in the billions before all is said and done. Never an apology, still says he saved millions of lives with Warp Speed. What does it take for you to see the dark, deceptive side of it all? If you can give a pass on that, then give a pass on the depopulation agenda (including you and yours) also.
I don’t think Trump knew that the vaccine was manufactured by the military for depopulation. There were many that were skeptical of its usefulness, but very few could have guessed the magnitude of the destruction. I’m sure Trump was told it was safe and effective. At the beginning of COVID they were selling it as the black plague and something had to be done. Trump was told there was a SARS vaccine that had been around 10+ years but wasn’t on the market yet but it was ready to go. I give Trump a pass because he was lied to by people that were supposed to be loyal to him- the general who lied about the amount of troops we had in Syria. I have seen the trap of the vaccine since the beginning and I begged my loved ones (and anyone that would listen) not to get it. Saying that I condone depopulation because of my statement is really unfair.
Given the timeline of events, which I have gone into previously, I agree with you. It should be noted that when Trump signed the EO authorizing what became known as Operation Warp Speed that was placed in front of him for signature, the first "covid" case had not yet occurred. In hindsight, this is an indication of the deception that was employed on Trump. The entire plandemic/bio-weapon kill shot had been planned long before Trump.
If Trump's election in 2016 upsetting their entire agenda timeline had not occurred, we would now be living in a Marxist dystopia where every living being would have been forced to take the shot.
But don't forget to add in the 17th Amendment, also "ratified" in 1913. To further the globalists/deep state goals, they were able to strip the state legislatures of their representation in Congress and exponentially increased their ability to corrupt them by buying them with political donations/funding for their now statewide/national campaigns. They've become glorified 6 year term reps with slightly different parliamentary rules and some different responsibilities (treaty ratification, advise and consent, etc.). If senators actually looked out for their states and were responsible to their state legislatures, this Republic would be in a much better place.
Good point. The 17th Amendment should be included with the other two. It was a complete, well thought out subversion of the American gov't, all of which came into being under President Wilson the proto-globalist. From there we went right into endless wars beginning with WWI/WWII. If I'm right, Trump's regime is the first attempt to overturn what was done.
It is why I call 1913 "the worst year for the Republic" and why Woodrow Wilson (the academic Demonrat president) is my #1 worst president.
You are correct that Trump is the first one to really make a hard attempt to overhaul what was done by the globalists.
Reagan tried, but government actually grew if I'm not mistaken (he didn't get rid of Education Dept and spun off/added the VA?). After Reagan, bureaucracies continued to do what they do best and are designed to do, and that is to perpetuate themselves and grow...
VA bureaucracy growth and decrease in actual service under the FJB regime highlights the current problem.
Right. What happened to Reagan was what happened to Trump's first term. Reagan had a great cabinet team. Then after closeting with Gerald Ford in the midwest, Reagan announced he was taking on Bush as VP. The "Bush B Team" replaced every one of Reagan's team except Sec of Interior James Watts who was later driven out of the administration. With Bush, the deep state and the NeoCons were in full control of the WH in spite of Reagan's brilliant rhetoric. Under their control, military spending went ballistic along with the profits of the NeoCons while the conservatives were put to sleep by Reagan's rhetoric.
As a veterinarian, I am not 'happy' that COVID happened, but I am appreciative of what it uncovered.
I used to consume pertinent scientific papers without a thought.....I ASSUMED if they got published, they were legit. I look back now and wonder how I could have been so stupid.
There were a couple of times when CLEARLY something was crooked at the FDA(look up the history of a drug called ProHeart---interestingly, it involves one of the pharma super villians, Pfizer, but in a veterinary setting. This whole debacle seriously dinged the FDA's credibility to me)
Even today, some stupidity abounds.......have you heard about the 'don't spay or neuter early' movement? Yeah.....highly suspect in my opinion, based largely on a few micro studies. Who does delayed spay and neuter benefit most? High priced clinics. Early spay/neuter is done mainly at High volume spay/neuter clinics, greatly cutting into a once sure fire income stream for vets......so, they had to discredit it.....they tried by saying the quality of surgery wasn't up to snuff....well that's an issue no matter what type of clinic you have.....some good and bad everywhere. When that didn't have it's intended effect, they tried to go after it through State Boards, etc. And then, the studies came out.....supposedly showing that pets spayed and neutered early developed all sorts of issues that those done later did not. Problem? Sample size was tiny. I don't think you can make ANY conclusion from the studies I've seen. I have always wondered if these same people screaming that PETS need their sex hormones to develop correctly are also in favor of trans-ing children? Someone needs to dig into that.....knowing the people I know, I'll bet that a good many of the people telling you not to neuter Fido are perfectly OK neuter little Billy.
Anyway....it's a scary time in medicine....we literally don't know who to believe.
From the human side I learned yesterday the true importance to cleaning up our FDA and other medical agencies. My husband’s union is run by some true down to earth managers who deeply care about their members and their families, and go to bat for them and their benefits. They have medical benefits that are initially processed by BCBS and they use their in-network database, but is ultimately managed by the union and they retain the right to override the big insurance giant’s decisions (and often do.) Yesterday I was talking to the director about my frustration with not knowing how to afford the care that has been best for and effective for our family because many of the functional medicine clinics don’t accept insurance (with good reason,) and often their first line of defense treatments are natural and life changes that cost money but insurance don’t cover them. As he explained to me they ARE aware of this and struggle with it, but it all boils down to lawsuits. Our fund has more than enough money it it to look after and take care of ALL their members far, far into the future, but all it takes is one lawsuit that says “this mineral injection hurt me but YOU covered it - so I thought it was safe!” and all their millions of security for all the other members disappears overnight and no one receives the care they need afterwards. The standard they are legally protected by is “is this off-label use/natural treatment approved by the FDA?” If it’s not, it’s not covered because it leaves ALL the risk in the lap of our union.
I understand their position. Their hands are somewhat tied.
It infuriates me that the FDA forces insurance companies to have to refuse valid effective therapies to avoid the risk of lawsuits. When the FDA is compromised and corrupt, that forces patients to only be able to access the treatments they and their bed-buddies want them to have, which make them rich and keep the patient sick. True healing and prevention outside of prescription medicine is not covered because the FDA refuses to approve any of that.
Our union does have a really good appeal process that seriously considers the needs of their members, and they can override a decision to deny treatment. But their hands are tied over much of it if the FDA does not approve a treatment.
We have to change this at the government level so that insurance groups can rightfully offer coverage to its members for off-label OR natural treatments, and not be completely destroyed by lawsuits.
100% agree. I read so many lying studies re covid that it blew my mind. I knew that they were lying, because why would big established medical schools publish papers that are obvious lies? It really made me wonder how long they planned the release of the military bioweapon that Covid actually is.
Unfortunately my adult child adopted a male cat and was convinced to wait. When they visited me at 7 months the cat started spraying. I called my vet and begged to get him in to be fixed. Thankfully they did. However, now that cat still sprays to this day. He is loved but that is disgusting. Now he really should live on a farm, not in a home. Sad.
I disagree. Some vaccinations are entirely needed. Rabies in the US, where the disease is rampant. Did you know that tens of thousands of PEOPLE die from rabies every year in third world countries. Now, if you live in the UK, you don't have to worry. They don't see rabies there. Parvo virus in puppies and Distemper are bedrocks. Some of the other stuff...meh. And once they are adults, robotically vaccinating every single year does not make sense. Most of the people who come in, DEMAND vaccines....I would rather they spent on heartworm prevention here in GA, but the 'my pet needs it's shots' dogma is very strong in people....and hard to argue. About the time you tell someone their dog doesn't need Leptospirosis(which I have treated in one of my cows and a handful of dogs), their dog gets it and then the client gets it from the dog and then you have a lawsuit.
The unscrupulous over vaccinators have destroyed trust. Some vaccines are still needed, but not in excess. Just like everything else...moderation makes the most sense.
JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association said Medical Doctors KILL 100,000 Americans with the CORRECT use of pharmaceutical drugs. Would you believe them or take their advice?
Funny you should say this, Bob. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. In my experience, often there is an alpha cat when two cats from different litters live in the home, adopted at different times. The alpha sucks up all the attention, sadly leaving the newly adopted cat neglected. If the alpha was bottle-fed as a kitten, be aware. It's like having a 2-year old who needs constant attention.
"Trump plans to delete the Department of Education and simply send the money straight to the states instead."
This is still a stupid way to pay for education. Let states raise their own money. But that comes later, now we have to get our states, my state anyway, to quit spending money on wasteful stuff. The school district I live in is wanting to spend several hundred thousand dollars converting football fields from grass to plastic.
Our school board consist of some very, VERY ignorant people, The less money they are given the more education will improve.
Nope, I'm not smart enough to keep my mouth shut. I tell people what I think, and often times it isn't what they want to hear. Even those times when I'm right, hahaha! 🤠
The $ that makes it to the states is minuscule. Most of the $ goes to salaries and bogus research projects and feeds an enormous bureaucracy. By eliminating the DOE, states still secure their grant money, and the taxpayers are no longer burdened with supporting the DOE with theirs. Win-Win.
Well, thankfully the caveat is that the Feds will have a bit of “ control” astohow that money is spent. Just no bureaucratic bullshit between the source and the payee, except maybe a small group to tell you you don’t need a fake grass football field that gets uncle Tony a ten million dollar job.
Fake grass causes more football injuries than grass. That’s why pro football spent a fortune to get rid of it. Sounds like somebody’s brother in law got stuck with a bunch of it and sees this as a government bail out.
True, it's a slow process but theoretically it should revert to states, but the power-clinging elected politicians in DC want to control as much as they can, so who knows if it all goes back to states or not?
One of the local boards around here make you submit questions. The questions will be answered by email. You may “speak” for a minute during the meeting, at the appointed time, but no questions!!🙃🤪
I live in a state whose funding has been near the bottom for years, and our educational outcomes are also near the bottom. I don't think the theory that cutting funding automatically equates to a better system actually has much evidence backing it.
There is much evidence that districts with the highest per pupil spending still aren't producing good outcomes. I don't think the idea is that "cutting funding" equates to a better system, as you said, but rather that continuing funding does nothing to improve education - it just increases wealth for some people in certain positions, and that is why it should be cut.
I think the issue is how whatever funds are available are utilized. Obviously I can't speak to your situation but let me ask, what metric is used to determine your state is near the bottom, as compared to other states? If so, why is that the case?
My point is, comments like "cut funding and it gets better" are asinine. It is much more complicated than that. See the latest comment from C Contrarian - that I have "financial invovlement" - like I'm getting wealthy being a teacher. People can be complete idiots on this topic.
Did anyone actually say or imply "cut funding and it gets better"?
All I said was high funding still doesn't lead to better outcomes. And I think we all agree that this is because of administrative bloat, mismanagement, and grift, as well as outright fraud.
And federal funding doesn't reach down to the level of teachers and good student programs.
Yes, teachers in Arizona are quickly becoming billionaires. Stacks of gold we have! I put up with jr. high misfits - a job most would never entertain doing and get little thanks for, including little thanks on the financial end of it. People who complain the most about schools typically know the least, and I think you are proving that point.
No, I get it. While it was many years ago I was a student & I helped most of my teachers earn their wages. I have total support for teachers who are actually teaching. I can't speak for AZ but here in SC they waste money on things because DC sends money & voters fall for the theory that all teachers are good, I don't believe that.
It's a complex topic we won't solve here but I think it would be refreshing to see teachers unite and highlight all the waste they witness. But I suspect they won't for fear of retribution.
As with unelected, over-paid bureaucrats, the thought that they are irreplaceable is an unfounded myth. If the pay stinks, quit and find a better job. Over my years of working I did just that, it's called adjusting to reality.
Get rid of them. What place did that. The PEOPLE marched into the board meeting and kicked them out. Installed new ones. They not only work for us as we pay their salaries but as elected representatives they are our trustees and if a trustee doesn't do their job, they are kicked out and prosecuted if crimes involved.
It sounds easier than it is. I'm hoping between DOGE & the idiotic grass replacement effort will shed light on the pathetic job the board does. I'm going to a candidate recruitment meeting Sat morning, I will be interested hearing what people are thinking.
I know someone whose daughter is one of the retained employees in a government agency that was first to be gutted. I’m pleased to report that she is happily working her butt off, in the office five days a week, and feeling that her logistics-based role is now challenging and rewarding. Before this she was underwhelmed by the seriousness of her responsibilities and workload. “This is all there is to being a working professional?”
Yesterday I was shopping at my local Giant store and needed olive oil, which over the last year had suddenly become prohibitively expensive. Almost every single brand had a sign noting a 10-25% price drop. I don't know what happened, but I like it. I like it a lot.
I hope for a day we can go to any grocery store and not have to worry about the toxins in our food options. It’s exhausting (and expensive) to keep up with what is the most healthy option.
Olive oil is a giant scam. I looked into it about 5 years ago, but it faded as an issue during covid. I think most/all of the “European” brands sold in grocery stores are seed oils with green coloring. Put your oil in the refrigerator—if it gets milky and semi-solid, it’s real. If it remains liquid, it’s fake. I buy California Olive from only California olives. They also make a blended version with olives from multiple sources, avoid. Some months ago, I bought “first cold pressed, 100% authentic, olives from Spain” Davinci brand and it’s totally fake. Left it in the fridge for 48 hours, still liquid.
California Olive from only California olives is what I buy, too. I don't have time to google every single on sale EEVO brand before I buy it, and in any case I am skeptical of the labels information. I feel better knowing it is from our country, even if it is from California. And it does solidify in the fridge.
Thanks for the link to Mamavation, as is often the case, devil is in the details. Good to see data on plastics and forever chemicals hiding in our food.
A friend who is health conscious advised evoo from Spain. She said they don't use chemicals to grow the olives. I'd look into that. I buy from Trader Joe's.
So, I fed Alice's statement into ChatGPT, and it appears she has been the victim of misinformation. This is long, but see the Takeaway section for what to look for on the bottle, and scroll to the bottom for a list of trusted brands.
1. Is Olive Oil a “Giant Scam”?
• Partially True: While there is fraud in the olive oil industry, calling it a “giant scam” is an exaggeration. Some imported olive oils have been found to be adulterated with cheaper oils (e.g., soybean or sunflower oil), but not all brands are fraudulent.
• Studies & Investigations: Reports from organizations like the UC Davis Olive Center (2010 study) found that many imported “extra virgin” olive oils sold in U.S. grocery stores did not meet extra virgin standards. However, this does not mean they were all fake—many just failed freshness or quality tests.
• EU Regulations: The European Union has strict labeling and testing requirements for olive oil. While fraud happens, not all European olive oils are fake.
2. Are Most/All “European” Brands in Grocery Stores Actually Seed Oils?
• False: While some fraud exists, most European brands in reputable grocery stores are legitimate. Major brands like Colavita, Filippo Berio, and Bertolli have undergone scrutiny but generally comply with regulations. Some brands have been caught in past scandals but have since improved transparency.
3. Does Olive Oil Solidify in the Refrigerator as a Test of Authenticity?
• False/Misleading: This is a common myth.
• Olive oil contains various fatty acids, including monounsaturated fats (oleic acid) and some polyunsaturated fats.
• High-quality extra virgin olive oil may get cloudy or semi-solid in the fridge because of the presence of waxes and saturated fats, but not all real olive oils will solidify.
• Some authentic extra virgin olive oils remain liquid in the fridge, depending on their fatty acid composition and filtering process.
• Better Test? A more reliable method is a sensory test (smell/taste), checking for bitterness, fruitiness, and pungency, or a peroxide test in a lab.
4. Is California Olive Ranch a Safer Bet?
• Mostly True: California Olive Ranch is known for strict quality control and uses only California-grown olives in its 100% California labeled oils. However, their “Destination Series” is a blend of California and international olives, which some consumers prefer to avoid.
5. Was DaVinci Brand Olive Oil “Totally Fake”?
• Unverified: Just because DaVinci oil did not solidify in the fridge does not necessarily mean it is fake. It could still be real extra virgin olive oil with a specific fatty acid profile. However, DaVinci is not among the most highly-rated brands for authenticity.
Takeaway:
• Olive oil fraud exists, but not all brands are fake.
• Refrigerator tests are unreliable.
• To ensure quality, look for:
• Seals from California Olive Oil Council (COOC) or European PDO (Protected Designation of Origin)
• Harvest date (avoid anything older than 18 months)
• Dark glass bottles (light degrades oil)
• Trusted brands like California Olive Ranch (100% California), Cobram Estate, and Corto.
Top-Rated Extra Virgin Olive Oils
These brands have undergone independent testing and are known for their purity, freshness, and quality control.
California & U.S. Brands:
1. California Olive Ranch – (Only the 100% California version, NOT the “Destination Series”)
11. Partanna – (Sicilian, known for fresh and high-polyphenol content)
12. Colavita Premium Selection – (Trusted for authenticity; avoid their lower-end versions)
13. De Cecco Classico Extra Virgin Olive Oil – (Italian, reliable)
14. Olio Verde – (Sicilian, premium)
Spanish EVOO (Well-Rated & Authentic)
15. Oro Bailen – (High-end Spanish EVOO)
16. Finca La Torre – (Award-winning organic Spanish EVOO)
17. La Española First Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil – (Traditional Spanish brand)
18. Masia el Altet – (Premium-quality Spanish EVOO)
How to Ensure You’re Getting Real EVOO:
✅ Look for certifications – California Olive Oil Council (COOC), PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), or the North American Olive Oil Association (NAOOA) seal.
✅ Check the harvest date – The freshest oils are best; look for within the last 18 months.
✅ Use dark glass bottles – Avoid plastic or clear glass, as light degrades olive oil.
✅ Buy directly from producers or reputable stores – Specialty grocers, online from trusted sources, or stores like Whole Foods, Costco, and specialty food retailers.
[The crabby sub-headline added, “the E.P.A. administrator said the agency’s mission was to make it cheaper to buy cars, heat homes and run businesses. (He did not mention protecting the environment.)”]
That's funny because if they were really serious, they would have tried to show how those useless, overburdensome regulations also had nothing to do with "protecting the environment."
The fact is that in most places the air and water are a lot cleaner than they were fifty years ago. At least some of this is due to EPA programs. I hope those survive.
I fully support what Zeldin said. If he doesn't also do something to totally eliminate geoengineering, which affects infinitely more than just "climate", then it will all be for naught. https://geoengineeringwatch.org/
I hope he's loosening up the totally dumb regulations on dishwashers and other home appliances.
The low water washing machines need to GO.
Mrs. "the Knife"
We had a washing machine that lasted since we bought it in the early 90s that we repaired twice for a total of under $30. I really wish we had brought it with us when we moved a few years ago!
I finally replaced mine this year and I realized I had them for 43 years, no repairs. The new ones suck. The water sensing stuff doesn’t work well.
If/when we move, I am taking them with me!
Mrs. "the Knife"
Yes, but it has a full-color touchscreen which is a nice feature and it's WiFi enabled so you get an email when your clothes are dry (if not clean)!
OMG!!!!!
We keep using 25 year old "el Cheapo" Electroluxes as they are repairable and get the job done.
Go figure.
A friend of mine has a 50's Kelvinator in his utility closet that the previous owner left full of beer for him. It still works. Incredible.
I went to school with a man whose last name was Rapier. I always called him "The Blade" Rapier even if he had the look and personality of Paul Simon.
Great name!!
Was he witty?
Agree!
Same for us.
That’s my next one.
Mine too!
We moved to AZ (CA refugees here) and the new house had an old Whirlpool washer and dryer that still work great. We had brought our Speed Queens with us and we keep them stored in the garage for when these inevitably give out one day.
Sears Kenmore, Speed Queen, Maytag.. all made here in Murica!
The Maytag man retired and has died! RIP Maytag Man.
Yes, I wrote down the specs on that one the last time we discussed this. That's my next one.
I love my Speed Queen!
It’s made in the US! Whoo-hoo! When my current appliances die (we all know the’re on limited time whatever their age) I will find Speed Queen! Thanks for the info!
Do Speed Queens have an easily cleaned lint filter?
I buy lint filters at Home Depot or Lowe's that go on the water-out line. I call them pipe condoms.
The dryer lint trap is right in the front
Their dryers are nothing special but the washer is. I have one and it is amazing.
I’m not sure if there is a lint filter for the washing machine. I don’t have a Speed Queen dryer. At least not yet.
I just bought a Maytag washer and dryer 5 years ago but will look at the Speed Queens when I need new ones. Thanks for the notice!
Love mine! PS, I'm a Mary Ann too!
My sister and a neighbor both love theirs!
We have. a 20 year old gently used washer in our basement as a backup to our 20 year old working washing machine. I keep repairing our 15 year old dishwasher on the advice of our local appliance repair shop.
Speed Queen still makes a great washer
My sister uses a washboard, her buff husband's stomach.
LOL, sadly most of us don't have a washboard like that!!!!!
@Shayne- word
😂😂😂😂😂 pictures, please!
Right ??? 🤣🤣🤣😆
LOL
I would refer to the closing scene of "They Live", but it's a family environment here. For context, a signal that was used across the world to hide subconscious messages of compliance all around us and to hide the hideous visages of elitist aliens that otherwise looked like us. Right after the signal is cutoff a series of scenes are shown in which the aliens are exposed... Including one that (as you put it) where some laundry is "cleaned on the abs of a man/alien." when the unveiling happens. It's amidst the credits. I'd provide a link with a time index, but Youtube is messing with my video watching because of the browser I'm using.
Try around 1 hour 30 minutes here https://www.bitchute.com/video/2hXFpzQOZSPK
And as an added bonus, go to bitchute.com and search for They Live and see some of the captions on the selections. You might be interested in one or two. Should you choose to watch the entire movie (link above), I'm kinda partial to the bank scene "I'm here to chew bubble gum and kick @ss. And I'm all out of gum."
You know, I’ve seen the memes of that guy taking his sunglasses off like a hundred times and never knew what movie it was from! Thank you!
RIP Rowdy Roddy Piper!
Speed Queen with the "fill to the top button".
My sister still has my mom's old one in her shed. Want it?
Yesssss!
Lehman, out in Ohio, should be a source
They are a great source for a ton of supplies and usable tools. Multiple likes!
My mother had a wringer that she ran the bed sheets through - and then she ironed the sheets!
The good old days. That was my job in the house, ironing all the clothes, and the tea towels.
My mama taught me to iron starting with the pillowcases. Does anyone still iron tea towels and pillowcases?
Mrs. "the Knife"
Check Facebook Marketplace. It's usually full of vintage appliances for sale. You know, the ones from the 50s 60s and 70s that were not created with planned obsolescence in mind.
Yes, I will. Thank you.
As a child, I was fascinated when my grandma used the wringer machine. I assumed we would have those forever.
I wash by hand. Very relaxing and I save a ton of money on water.
so do I for most things. wring by hand and hang out to dry. its a lovely solar system
My clothesline gets a lot of use, even in winter on a nice day then by the fire at night.
Tis true!
Buy Speed Queen! Made in Wisconsin USA and they make commercial machines so they are built to last. Top load washer and fills with water.
Some of the homesteading people have gone back to the ringer washers.
Agreed. Mine has a deep fill feature, so I use that with every load.
Mine has a two extra rinses feature which I use. It’s insane.
I know right!?!
Government: "We need to conserve water so only washing machines that use less water can be manufactured in this country."
Me: "Ok government, I need clean clothes. So now I will cycle one load 10 times to get what I used to with one."
🖕🖕🖕🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
It's like low-flush toilets. How are you saving water if you have to flush twice to clear the bowl?
How does the old saying, "you can't fix stupid" when it comes to Government... I don't give them the old "well intentioned" pass when it comes to their rule making, because I have come to the conclusion that it always has been about 'power and control' and nothing these bureaucracies and especially those run by Dems and RINOs ever do anything that is good for the people.
Same
I’ve never seen that option on mine, but I’m going to look. Maybe it’s hidden somewhere, lol.
My "deep fill" feature still dribbles a few drops into it and "checks" to see if it's deep enough every ten seconds.
@Anne- same
I especially like the low flow toilets. You know about them, right? They're the ones you need to flush 4Xs if you have a BM. btw, the last time I was in Italy the toilet had a low water flush for urine & a gusher for #2 which is brilliant for intelligent water allocation.
All the rest of the developed World has toilets with a low water flush for #1 and a gusher for #2.
But the only country that put a man on the moon(we are told! LOL) does not!
You can buy dual flush toilets at any Home depot type store. They have been available for years now. I have installed quite a few of them
@Pelicanus- I have a European style toilet in my master bath. Two buttons like you described. The only thing is it hangs on the wall as opposed to sitting on the floor and I'm the only one in the house willing to use it for fear of it pulling out of the wall. Truthfully, I don't like it.
Interesting. The one I referenced was in Rome and attached to the floor.
@Pel- I DO like the fact that I can clean under it and there's no base to clean.
Don't even talk about vacuums!! Expensive pieces of plastic!!!
Dyson isn’t terrible, IMO.
I have a Dyson DC14 Animal (from 2004 or so) and a DC65 (with the ball and from 2011 or so), and the DC14 is a much better animal. My old Hoover, which weighed a ton and after a few years did not suction well, went off to college with my son and did not return.
I have an older Dyson that plugs into the wall. Probably 15 years old. Still runs like new. LOVE IT!!!
Right! The last one I got is a commercial one and it works much better, and it has a much longer cord too. 👏🏼
Try a Roomba. No cord.
Speed Queen!!! The only one that has the "fill to the top" button!
Back in the day, I remember Lancet being broadly discredited by USA medical types. Hmmm. Maybe back when they published some truth?
Yes, vinegar is great for cleaning and stopping mold. Wrap your cheese in a vinegar-soaked cheese cloth, and it will not mold.
i hate those things, they dont clean jack squat!
Buy a speed Queen Commercial washer. They are not cheap, but they are not electronic. AND you can have as much water as you want. Start with a spin cycle if you want. A good, solid, old-fashioned washer.
Agree! These are the WORST!!!!
Toilets!
In recent years, I've reflected on what I was taught in elementary school:
"Matter is neither created nor destroyed."
Water doesn't disappear either but is a cycle so the water shortage is a lie too.
The 1.5 gallon flush is NOT enough!
If you need to flush twice, what is it saving?
Remember the water cycle? There is no shortage. That is a lie.
Yeah, I usually have to flush twice. There is no saving of water with that issue and it is VERY annoying. Plus these stupid laws about incandescent light bulbs. I love incandescent bulbs. I am not a fan of LED’s, but that is just me.
We may have to bring back the outhouse with a hole in the ground! No flushing that way, lol!
I don't know composting toilets are not catching on. They can be placed anywhere without plumbing or a water source. It really does not make sense to flush our waste with fresh water. Especially in places with limited water supplies.
Never knew that existed! Sign me up:}
We don’t need the out-house because we have compost potties.
LEDs are better than florescent, the flickering would cause my daughter to have seizures. When California first outlawed incandescent, I went and bought every bulb I could find (LEDs had just started and cost about $25 a bulb) since I couldn't imagine lighting the house with florescent.
LEDS are not healthy. bring back our incandescents!
Nonsense!
People say fluorescent when they mean incandescent. It’s the incandescents that everybody wants to use again, they lasted forever.
got some for ya'!
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/csw/hsh/d/elk-river-incandescent-lamps-light/7827547507.html
Some of the LED bulbs I've bought seem to flicker almost imperceptibly - you don't notice unless you're in a room with them for some time. I'd like to have the CHOICE of which kind I use, TVYM.
You would think progressives would be all for high flow toilets with all the 💩 they produce.
They don't see it for what it is. They believe that their content is low fecal matter. If they had their way, we probably would not have indoor plumbing and be "fertilizing the gardens" with our morning necessary.
LOL, just spit out my tea!
I like pithy comments...LOL!
Bring back gas stoves!
whatchya' mean bring 'em back?
We have one.
Mine never left
I have a gas stove!
Bring back gas!
Low flow shower heads need to be flushed too.
Incandescent bulbs please🙏
Limiting water use in appliances might be appropriate in states where water supplies are tight. But there's no need for federal rules on this.
Water is scarce where I live, so the city charges a pretty penny for water. That makes me conserve on my own. An open and free marketplace works!
A valid point, but most of us can't manufacture our own appliances. Producers need to be confident that there will be a market, and many consumers aren't as thoughtful as you.
Incandescent light bulbs.
I expect to see all the regs disappear.
Toilets!
Amen.
And clean up my personal environment by getting the fluoride out of the public water and taking the $440 fine off of the sale of incandescent lightbulbs. And stop spraying the metals into the chemtrails.
Problem is, all the mfgs have retooled for the new machines, they're not going to do that again for something that's not required.
Will DOGE hit NOAA, too? Let’s hope so. This geoengineering is messing up our lives and skies.
@Kathy- I think they already have
What I read was that RFK halted them but the contractors were immediately picked up by DOD. We had about 5 days of clear blue skies in SC before BAM-we're back.
I'd like to know what companies manufacture the product they're using for the "cloud seeding" (what the local water district calls it) What company(s) produce the "seeds" the planes "plant" in the sky to grow the extra rain?
That information has been impossible to find!!
Well, how convenient and transparent
I think Dane Wigington, or maybe someone else, dammit can't remember! Published an American chemical company that was supplying the effort
He’s truly Satanic. Bible: Cain and Jubal, stories in Genesis.
Cain murdered his brother. Jubal murdered his grandfather.
I think they want to poison us.
My garden vegetables have tasted wrong for the past 3 years!!
No licenses for Florida yet spraying almost every day. Military?
it is going all over the world so there must be some co-ordination between governments
You know what else is going on all over the world?
Airliners traveling through high altitude atmospheric conditions.
😔 Unbelievable
So Tennessee passed legislation banning chemtrails that don't exist? WTF Fre'd?
I was an avionics technician in the Air Force. I worked on planes. Ive seen the aircraft, the nozzles, and the chemical tanks inside.
Willful ignorance is a dangerous affliction, my friend. For the life of me, I cannot fathom the refusal to educate one’s self, but instead desperately cling to “the narrative.” (Unbelievable)
You guys again :(
Those are contrails here. Super dry, super cold winds aloft create contrails from every flight. Ice crystals.
nope - contrails evaporate quickly - chem trails are there all day
And the chemtrails spread out to form a grey cast to dim out blue skies. StopGeoengineering.com.
Bullshit. Different atmospheric conditions - high winds anyone? - create different patterns of contrails.
Chemtrails don't exist - except in the minds of paranoid people.
Contrails (vapor) occur in the stratosphere, what we're seeing in the troposphere are particles - geoengineering.
Another one on the NOAA payroll. It's despicable what people will do for money
"required to report" unless part of DARPA? or any other of the swamp-military options?
Jeff, you are absolutely right about the scientific papers. Yours is a fantasy suggestion. The fact that at least two publishers of big name journals stepped down for the same reason over a decade ago, and that John Ioannidis (later harassed for his early work on Covid) published this https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC1182327/ in 2005 and nothing changed, shows exactly how rotten, paid for and censured our “science” is.
It is not only Sanders and Warren who should have the names of their sponsors on their jerseys.
And Fred listen to John Brennan. He says it out loud.
Seems to me the DOD has a lot of influence over NOAA since they are linked militarily, just as the Covid “vax” was ordered by the DOD.
I agree. Gone into overdrive the last few days. Jet trails can be seen by the light of the silvery moon in the early morning hours. Never saw this before.
It is a military program.
Bill Gates
I'd include military in that.
Yes. Military. Fleets of C1 30s are fitted with nozzles and sent out to spray. 970 worldwide bases.
https://images.app.goo.gl/jLUgKx65wJRmZsi56
Way beyond EPA. DoD at least, probably higher
Rome was not built in a day. 50 days so a bit more time is needed. Too much to tackle at once.
Agree, yesterday my NY skies were filled with big white X marks!!
Bring back blue skies!
All of northern New England too...
Well, those just might be Elon marking his country! :) Go Elon!
Also, take a look at this substack writer whose focus is Geoengineering. https://open.substack.com/pub/mellowkat/p/weather-modification-inc-wmi-is-now?r=nl3ud&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post
Recently found Mellowkat and she goes right to the source, confronting pilots as they land after their dispersal of the poisons.
Do any pilots admit to carrying out any chemtrail work?
I don't know about pilots, but the airframe mechanics who work on those engines have told me it was complete. B*******.
Thank you. Shared
i am with you. I was hopeful with the USAID changes and it even seemed we had a week or so of respite. but mow again, they are in abundance wherever I travel.
With all these chemtrails makes me wonder if anything is truly organic now.
Yeah. Not really. Apparently they found aluminum in the bodies of bees now.
OMG!!!😱
https://images.app.goo.gl/jLUgKx65wJRmZsi56
970 worldwide bases, and fleets of C1-130s fitted with nozzles are sent out to spray.
Ugh! It’s so nasty
Yes, all in favor of removing all these ridiculous regulations, but he absolutely must make bringing about an
end to all this Geo engineering a top priority.
This is a non-partisan issue!! A win-win!!
About 60% of the comments in the Lee Zeldin clip agree. He needs to do something very soon on ending the Geo engineering.
Yes!! Two days of non spraying gone. Streaks all over NE Florida this morning. Where does the money come from?
I don’t know where you are in Northeast Florida but south of Jacksonville the skies are clear blue again today.
I’m very close to you in St.Johns. Streaky sprayed clouds in the morning but nothing since luckily and the wind has blown it away! Hooray!
Great exposure of truth, Steve…and the Shiitake stuff!
the chemicals they are spraying are toxic not only to humans but they poison the soil and our food - I hope that is next up on his todo list
Exactly, I read the scientists were "baffled" that they found aluminium in the snow of the Rockies over 8,000 feet up.
AMEN! They’ve been especially aggressive over my house lately.
Sad,
IM WAY MORE CONCERNED ABOUT CHEMTRAILS. than washing machines.
I'm way more concerned about the loons who believe in chemtrails than I am in chemtrails.
Absolutely agree John A George… I was so hoping he would mention weather manipulation programs must cease… maybe a mass email campaign to Zeldin…
I agree. Here in Southern CA, Monday the day before the rains came in on Tuesday, thick lines in the sky criss crossing ALL DAY from morning to evening! Then… wallah!!!… LOTS OF RAIN!!! So disturbing for me!!
Also check out stopGeoengineering.com
I hate the car turning itself off at every stop unless you hit the override button. Stupidest thing ever.
This is a super great idea!
Frankly, I'm just relieved that Jeff still has time to eat dinner and converse with his lovely wife! :)
Me, too! My own theory is that Jeff is actually 3 identical triplets: one of them sleeps regularly and putters around the house, one of them runs a brilliant law practice and sleeps whenever, and one of them writes like a madman and only sleeps on Sunday. Just my opinion, of course.
He still posts on Sundays for subscribers so no sleep on Sundays either. 😉
The triplets must rotate jobs whenever the one currently writing starts to collapse. Good thing they are all so talented!
So Jeff is actually Michael Keaton. Warning: don't make a copy of a copy.
That’s funny Jenna!
Like the “Sabines/Sabine Women” in Marcel Aymé’s story 😆
( a short story about a young woman named Sabine who gains the gift of ubiquity, allowing her to exist in multiple places simultaneously)
That describes most mothers.
Right?? 🤣😆
“…defend to the last Ukrainian.” Sadly true.
Not on Sunday 😁
Does Jeff sleep?
Jeff must be like DJT and not require much sleep!
He and Trump are from the planet Krypton.
And I'll bet he has never accidentally called his wife Michael, like a certain someone we all know of 🤭
Bahahahahaha
😂😝😝
That's because her real name isn't Michael ..so
You are the bestus..
Time Turner. I am sure of it.
We have good news though. Check this out PP, by IMA formerly FLCCC.
https://journalofindependentmedicine.org/
The community noting idea is fantastic! It really is something that's not just unethical and dangerous to anyone receiving care from these brainwashed doctors, but the incoming cohort of doctors and nurses are learning from all of the newest research! So as we know it gets more murky and further from the truth as time passes, so too are the current students of medicine more thoroughly indoctrinated by conflicts of interest and big pharma $$!!! It is quite terrifying if you think about it. Makes international medical treatment seem more and more appealing.
We have good news though. Check this out Beth by IMA formerly FLCCC.
https://journalofindependentmedicine.org/
That sounds like a great article, I just don't want to do all the registration stuff to be able to read it.. is it free?
To my knowledge it is to everyone.
We have good news though. Check this out Susan by IMA formerly FLCCC.
https://journalofindependentmedicine.org/
That's where the EPA needs to be, right now:
https://patriciaburke.substack.com/p/moss-landing-power-plant-fire-techs-wake-up-call
Agree 100%. The ecological disaster we are creating with throwaway lithium batteries is bad, real bad. But but electric!
And with the innovation in the sector moving forward in leaps and bounds, the EVs of tomorrow are likely to extend the sustainability gap with traditional vehicles.
https://blog.evbox.com/electric-cars-environmental-impact

I also don't think an all electric solution is the path forward, but that is purely my opinion, so take it for what it's worth, not much. ;-)

The EPA has value. How do we keep the corrupt out?
Great question Dr. Linda.
I would propose:
Respectfully disagree. The AntiChrist has not appeared so not near end times.
Respectfully disagree. That is the WEF agenda and Gates. Musk rocks.
Thank you for the correction on the country. Here's an article I wrote on starlink if you're interested: https://romanshapoval.substack.com/p/prayforelon
LOVE MUSK. He is sacrificing so much and in harms way trying to help MAGA. He is brilliant and I pray Angels watch over him in his quest.
You don't even know enough about him to know how to return him to his country of origin. You don't even know enough about him to know that he hasn't gotten to the EPA yet. Hmmm.
Elon stays and Mahmoud Khalil goes along with all his pro hamas worshippers.
Sigh. At least try to remember that Elon Musk is from South Africa.
He is not from Australia and he is now a US citizen
EVs are, by themselves, are not a magic solution by themselves. However, when fossil fuel becomes uneconomical, they are the only alternative to fossil fuel-powered cars. And with the innovation in the sector moving forward in leaps and bounds, the EVs of tomorrow are likely to extend the sustainability gap with traditional vehicles.
https://blog.evbox.com/electric-cars-environmental-impact
I respectfully disagree with #1, the Tesla, #3 wholeheartedly.
100% agree. They want to eliminate carbon because humans (and all life) are carbon-based life forms. They don't hide it.
Electric vehicles are a huge danger.
Electric vehicles do explode from time to time. Also they seem to be fragile, resulting in higher insurance costs even for those who don't use them.
Nonsense! ICE cars have more fires than EV cars.
Imagine the idea that we can disregard battery charging and delivery losses as not part of the process! Science!
And you have no idea of EV's lifespan.
From July 2024 - truck overturns on I-15 between CA and NV. Highway closed for 40 hours and took weeks for the batteries to burn out.
https://www.reviewjournal.com/local/container-of-lithium-batteries-still-burning-off-i-15-3104065/
And fossil fuel vehicles never destroying our farmland and wildlife, eh Roman?
Give me a fuckin break!
Holy Crap, I didn't even know about the BESS fire in CA!! How come no national news picked up on this?
Stacy Abram’s would love to help you out with some $$$, I’m sure.
😂
But only if you’re the right color.
and/or a communist/marxist.
Only if she can pretend to help you but actually keep the money herself 😑
Well, thank you! You just saved me $800+ b/c I'm not buying a new dish washer that takes 3 hrs. I'll stick with my loud 40 minute cycle monster, thank you! Plus, I can fix it myself!
My godmother had her washing machine from the 1950's. It still worked and I guarantee it cleaned better than anything made today.
The old Whirlpool brand still works.
Yea keep that thing as long as you can!
😂
Men would run out and buy a whole new set, too.
Ugh, the low flow toilets! Agree, they need to go too.
I actually don't mind the new dishwasher running longer, because mine does a great job cleaning them. If the machines can actually use less water running the cycle longer and the dishes come out clean, I am happy to just wait and turn it on before I go to bed. Then I wake up with clean dishes AND conserve water.
😊win/win
The dishwashers may be OK, but the government dictating to us what kind of dishwashers we may or may not buy is not.
Exactly. I still can't seem to find anywhere in the Constitution that authorizes Congress or the Executive branch the authority to regulate what kind of dishwashers we can have (including interstate commerce - that clause is for the free flow of commerce between the states so that they are not taxed between states.
As long as you see the tradeoff... more water efficiency but less electricity efficiency.
You're right! I didn't think of that.
💯Exactly right. And I'm right there with you.
I’ll bet it has a quick wash cycle. Mine does and I love it. Done in 20 minutes. If we have a very full load, I do the long one
Yep mine is 3 hours too.
I’ve replaced most of our ceiling can and garage fluorescent bulbs with LED but I still put incandescent bulbs in all my lamps.
I also stocked up on too many 100w. I’ve almost depleted my stock of 60w and need more! Anybody wanna trade?
I’m shrieking, Starsky!!! I don’t even use 100s that much but was so furious I bought them anyway. But I’m with you - could use some 60s in a trade. LOL
“but was so furious I bought them anyway.” That’s marvellous. It made me hoot with laughter.
You can get certain incandescent on Amazon. But I don’t think CA. Allows them so you have to ship anywhere but CA.
Did the same exact thing!
If you are in the panhandle, I’d be happy to get some from you. I have been looking for some.
I am - and I’d be happy to give some to you! We’re in Gulf Breeze.
This is awesome, C&C is the best!!
I kept a big stash too when they were "outlawed.
I also wanted to stop the daylight savings madness. Kids jet lagged, mornings pitch black, hubby and I tired and caught a cold. Ugh
Mexico stopped it a few years back. It's GREAT not having it!!
Oh lucky!
Very. When my children were young, decades ago, I wanted to form an organization to end DLS. I called it MADS - Mothers Against Daylight Savings. Never did it because I was too busy raising children, ironically enough.
My cat is … still mad!
lol
It might be nothing but an inconvenience for those of you in southern states but it is a lifesaver for those of us in northern states to have more of our daylight during the hours that most people are awake. Starting to get daylight at 4am instead of 3am is so much better. I'll give you that the time change isn't fun.
Dorian, have you ever tried blackout curtains?
How far north are you? I have lived in New York and been in Western and northern Europe and never experienced a sunrise at 3am or even 4am. In Northern Europe it does stay light until about 10pm in the summer though (with daylight savings). Once you are at a higher latitude (say Finland) your days are much longer in the summer regardless. Sorry, I won’t be convinced to support this craziness especially just having gone through the switch and still suffering the consequences almost a week later.
AB, I was thinking the same thing. Let’s just stay on the Natural standard time.
Yes to all of these! These super long wash cycles on the dishwasher are absurd.
We've been told the same thing. Just another grift and virtue signaling.
Aluminium also, I would think?
True, it seems a waste to not be able to recycle things for cash anymore, too.
I agree with the light bulb issue!!!

Yes, Gatekeepers of Hell.
"Never A Straight Answer"!!! Never heard that one before, LOL!!! Awesome!
Seems as though every major agency has been captured.
You believe the earth is flat?
I believe the Word of God, which has never failed, and I don’t believe NASA, which lies through its teeth on a near-continuous basis.
Matthew 13:13-15. Have a nice day, Temo. 😊🙏🏻
I love it when people on Twitter come back at me with Wikipedia articles. Then again, they also come at me with the aforementioned articles from reputable scientific journals of questionable merit.
Jimmy, what’s your handle on Twitter/X? Would love to follow you. This is me: https://x.com/ceemcgee63
hopefully DOGE will put a halt to much of that
I'm glad Zeldin got the EPA post, but I'm sad that the governorship of NY was stolen from him. We wuz robbed. And I sort of have proof!
It was ment to be. Zeldin has a bigger and better job then fixing NY. Once they embraced abortion I knew to stay far away from NY state and NYC!
As a former resident (with an apt still in the city), NY is rotting - it’s terribly managed. The UWS is dirty and gross and it just gets worse as time passes…Democrats deserve to live in their filth.
I had to get out of the state. Cuomo and Hochul were the last straws. Don't miss any of it.
😭
My dad had a bumper sticker on his truck that said Montana is full. I hear North Dakota is nice. That was when California took over Montana starting in the 80s and now you can’t afford to live there.
I left Commiefornia during covid and moved to TN. Best move of my life!
You and thousands more...glad your move worked out!
Wanting to leave Illinois. Where should we go?
This country received a "hurricane of fear" back in 2020. May cooler heads prevail.
I left in 1975.
I’ll see your NYC rot and raise you two SFs and a Portland rot! And you better think long and hard about calling me because I still have Seattle and LA rots in my pile!
Your east coast rot will never be a match for our west coast rot!
Did you see that our wacko governor made an appreciation day for abortionist 🤯
They will stand before God one day, and He won't accept their "reproductive care" argument.
CA OR WA need Scott Presler to come to each county and teach people how to sign up voters properly. He is an amazing and positive asset.
Oregon cannot change until mail in voting is eliminated. Multnomah County is the cheat place. We lived in Portland for over twenty years and over and over, when the Repub was up, it all changed in the wee hours of the night. Chris Dudley was a prime example of the cheat.
We can only hope that one day in person voting returns.
In Washington state we have the same issue in King County. Including continuing to ‘find’ votes until the Dem wins.
UWS?
Upper west side
Upper West Side?
Yall been getting robbed in nys for decades. It’s why I left.
I participated in the peer review process years ago and saw it was corrupt back then. Friends reviewing friend’s papers, not digging into the data, not challenging the statistical analysis—all very lazy. And papers with conclusions contrary to dogma were declined. What a racket.
Same process to become an "accredited" school. It's just self-regulation with a bunch of papereork.
Vaccine development process?
I've never heard a Canadian talk like this!
https://forbiddennews.substack.com/p/the-us-doesnt-need-40-million-more
It's quite clear he's exposing those who pretend to be our friends, but are really just using us for our power, influence, and treasure.
I read the “British Crown” as the British Clown……🤡
Appropriate.

I took to that label right away as well!
Same!
Yes, Julius is the best. I've been trying to spread his name around.
Wow, that is a great post. Exactly the level of discussion required for thought!!
This is a good read! Thank you.
EAT ZE BUGS"
zerohedge idea:
1. Force Canada and Mexico into a union with USA to balance China as a manufacturing power.
2. End the IRS and income and property taxes.
3. Introduce a cool new crypto currency to replace 'old and debt-ridden dollar'.
4. What could go wrong?
Amen.
I'm not really into this question but I have heard that the Japanese creator is a myth and that crypto was invented by the NSA.
I think the Trump team has something in mind with their idea of auditing Ft. Knox.
Auditing scheduled for the fall of 2099. Possibly postponed due to "unforeseen circumstances".
Talked about, but joins Deportations and the Epstein List as back-burnered topics.
I hope so, but at this point, as far as I can see/tell, it is all speculative.
Yes... very much so.
Canada & the 51st State
Posted Mar 12, 2025 By Martin Armstrong
QUESTION: Hi Marty, Many in Canada seem to be taking President Donald Trump’s talk about making Canada the 51st US state seriously... Can Trump annex Canada? That seems far-fetched.
ANSWER: ...The real question is simply national pride vs. economics. Which is more important?... This is a coin toss, and it is really a question for the Canadian people, but that is hard with the propaganda the politicians put out to preserve their own jobs. Personally, I would be for Florida splitting and becoming our own country – forget the pride, it’s about economics first.
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/canada/canada-the-51st-state/
With this comment, Armstrong alludes to an underlying problem that needs to be highlighted which is the question of whether or not the US will remain one country.
Or maybe this is all just a bad dream.

Gold and silver are sound money.
One building I designed for was developed by a former pilot who made his money importing illegal drugs to Canada. He put it into developing real estate. Another developer trying to build a hotel in Niagara Falls made his money selling drugs until he was caught and the hotel wasn't finished until bought by another builder (my customer).
What exactly makes you say that Trump is set to topple the banking cartel? It seems like business as usual thus far....

Outstanding
Why do you put parentheses around the word "regime"?
Yes.
I've been hugely happy with Trump's actions so far.
But his pushing through the CR restoring Biden's budget (and erasing DOGE's spending cuts) is a YUGE red flag.
Phil, excellent post.
Nice work!
Thank you Politico Phil… your comments are always relevant and so interesting…

Excellent points. Thanks for sharing. Comments like this add to the high value of this blog.
Agree. I love hearing from people with different backgrounds and experiences!
Great post, interesting analysis and comments.
Sad.
They are doing to animals what they are doing to babies. Stop the vaccinations.
Agree on some. The basics. Not repeated year after year. Now my dog has lumps and bumps from over-vax.
Interesting take. Filed into my memory bank.
Time to get yourself on the school board.
Yep, it's shows the ignorance of the elected politicians populating the school board.
“How to Cull an Angry Mob” for bureaucrats.
Why have a meeting then?
I live in a state whose funding has been near the bottom for years, and our educational outcomes are also near the bottom. I don't think the theory that cutting funding automatically equates to a better system actually has much evidence backing it.
There is much evidence that districts with the highest per pupil spending still aren't producing good outcomes. I don't think the idea is that "cutting funding" equates to a better system, as you said, but rather that continuing funding does nothing to improve education - it just increases wealth for some people in certain positions, and that is why it should be cut.
It's like the Pentagon, throwing money at it makes it weaker, not stronger.
I think the issue is how whatever funds are available are utilized. Obviously I can't speak to your situation but let me ask, what metric is used to determine your state is near the bottom, as compared to other states? If so, why is that the case?
I’m actually a teacher and am lived experience of this topic.
But what of the teachers who have lived experience of being in a place with high funding, yet still poor educational outcomes?
My point is, comments like "cut funding and it gets better" are asinine. It is much more complicated than that. See the latest comment from C Contrarian - that I have "financial invovlement" - like I'm getting wealthy being a teacher. People can be complete idiots on this topic.
Did anyone actually say or imply "cut funding and it gets better"?
All I said was high funding still doesn't lead to better outcomes. And I think we all agree that this is because of administrative bloat, mismanagement, and grift, as well as outright fraud.
And federal funding doesn't reach down to the level of teachers and good student programs.
Ahh, you have a financial involvement, got it. 💰💰💰
It takes a special kind of person to teach junior high. I could never do it. 4th grade was my favorite age to teach.
You could say this for all of government.
Look at the cancers from playing on plastic fields.
Sounds like California.
That money is control. Stop the funds, stop Federal over reach!
Mine too! :(
More technology does not translate to better educational outcomes, so ... ?
Flouride is an industrial waste from aluminum causing Alzheimers.
Let's remove it from every state.

Encouraging news ... hopefully your friend is not the exception with her git-r-done attitude!
This is encouraging!!
“Science’s comeuppance is long overdue, but it is finally coming, and not a second too soon.”
I pray it be so.
Yesterday I was shopping at my local Giant store and needed olive oil, which over the last year had suddenly become prohibitively expensive. Almost every single brand had a sign noting a 10-25% price drop. I don't know what happened, but I like it. I like it a lot.
https://www.kasandrinos.com/
Some olive oils are blends and/or have phalates.
https://www.mamavation.com/food/olive-oils-tested-for-toxic-phthalates-buying-guide.html
What?!? I'm putting mine in the fridge right now. Thanks for sharing, Alice!
California Olive from only California olives is what I buy, too. I don't have time to google every single on sale EEVO brand before I buy it, and in any case I am skeptical of the labels information. I feel better knowing it is from our country, even if it is from California. And it does solidify in the fridge.
Another California oil is Olio Santo, recommended by Ina Garten/Barefoot Contessa. I’ve never seen it for sale but may try it.
There’s a product you really need to read the labels. Pure Italian only here.
Thanks for the link to Mamavation, as is often the case, devil is in the details. Good to see data on plastics and forever chemicals hiding in our food.
Is there a good brand common in the stores? I heard much of it is sketchy.
I like Kirkland Signature Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Costco. Barcode 0 96619 36378 0
It's in a glass bottle. Protected designation of origin.
Generally avoid stuff from overseas. California single source is generally good/safe.
Make sure it's in a glass bottle. You don't want plastic leaching into the oil.
Exactly!
A friend who is health conscious advised evoo from Spain. She said they don't use chemicals to grow the olives. I'd look into that. I buy from Trader Joe's.
I currently use Carapelli Extra Virgin, in a dark green glass bottle. And it is affordable.
Wife says single sourced California olive oils:
1) California Olive Ranch (they have single source and global blends, check the label)
2) Cobram Estate
I like CA Olive Ranch.

Looking forward to decreasing prices as a result of deregulation …we paid $29 for a hamburger yesterday!! In Northern Colorado!! Ridonkulous.
Wow that’s crazy 😳
Pretty sure he was saying that. Leaving it to the smart people to figure it out. Doesn’t matter what you tell stupids. They remain that way.
The fact is that in most places the air and water are a lot cleaner than they were fifty years ago. At least some of this is due to EPA programs. I hope those survive.
