Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astounded and stood up in haste; he said to his high officials, “Was it not three men we cast bound into the midst of the fire?” They replied to the king, “Certainly, O king.” He said, “Look! I see four men loosed and walking about in the midst of the fire without harm, and the appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods!” Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the door of the furnace of blazing fire; he responded and said, “Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, come out, you servants of the Most High God, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego came out of the midst of the fire. The satraps, the prefects, the governors and the king’s high officials gathered around and saw in regard to these men that the fire had no effect on the bodies of these men nor was the hair of their head singed, nor were their trousers damaged, nor had the smell of fire even come upon them.

Albert Pike had promised his Masonic allies in Europe that they would have three world wars to consolidate the world power of the Canaanites. We have now seen two of those world wars, and, as promised, the first world war was to set up a Communist regime, the second world war was to raise it to the status of a world power, and the third world war is planned to destroy both Communism and Christianity in a great orgy of annihilation. This coming war is intended to be the final death knell of the people of Shem; after its conclusion the Canaanites will reign unchallenged throughout the world."

Humans are not generally capable of multiple generational grand scale global conspiracy. But go ahead, believe what you want.

The truth however is much more universal, humans fall and lose their soul connection, and seek power over others. Fundamental morality attuned to spiritual connection to the Divine is the only real solution, and operates most effectively within a limited government power framework of individual liberty educated to God given rights.

David, I agree with your overall statement, but would like to add some different perspectives:

1. There’s evidence to show that humans are capable of global conspiracies. Rockefeller, Ford, Carnegie and others created our modern world. This was confirmed by Generals and Congress. There’s also the conspiracy of modern medicine which can be traced to one family. These are examples of how humans can lead global conspiracies and here are some pieces on them:

https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/donating-to-a-good-cause-how-billionaires

https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/rich-people-do-magic

2. Totally agree 1,000% with this here: “Fundamental morality attuned to spiritual connection to the Divine is the only real solution,”

This was phenomenal and I wrote a piece on reasoning and how that’s our connection to the Divine. I feel you may really like this piece here: https://unorthodoxy.substack.com/p/reasoning-the-language-of-gods

Lastly: “and operates most effectively within a limited government power framework of individual liberty attu education to Hod given rights.” — this is the definition and ideal state of true liberty and autonomy for humanity. We can agree that governments and ruling classes will not give this up willingly, ultimately going back to point number 1 of a global conspiracy of human enslavement with a whole slew of characters over time.

Hope this helps paint a different perspective.

In your list of suggestions about what to do about the rampant Somali fraud, you missed the easiest, most simple one. Unless the laws have been changed since the '60's, naturalized citizenship does NOT have the same rights as people who are born in the US. You can have your citizenship revoked and be deported for committing crimes. I do not recall there being any specificity about the nature of the crimes, AKA it is discretionary to the government. You might want to check and see if this is still in effect. That would make deportations easy peasy for any number of crimes.

Veranda Vamp's avatar

Right on. Deportation of people given temporary refugee sanctuary is the only solution. The Somali community is incapable of assimilating and the word “temporary “ must be honored. Trying to accommodate Third-World mentality into our society can only tear at the fabric of our trust-based system.

Laureen's avatar

I want my money back from them first. take whatever they have that is valuable (that is unlikely they have anything) then 5 years of backbreaking labor working for free 15 hours per day. then send them back.

Paul Bozeman's avatar

Seems simple to me. Fed transferred money to state and paid it a percentage to administer the distribution. Just recover all the money sent to MN for this program and let MN decide what and how to proceed. The governor and department heads (and any others that were accountable) should be charged and prosecuted for any and all federal infractions.

Skeptical Actuary's avatar

The fraud is going on in every state with Somali communities. There have been similar exposes in Ohio and Washington state.

There's going to be a lot of fraud in all the blue states, and a fair amount in the red states as well. It just depends on how closely the states are checking.

A follow up on weak men.

Hard times create strong men.

Strong men create good times.

Good times create weak men.

Weak men create hard times.

I believe much of weak men and hard times begin at home with fathers. I had shared this with TriTorch.

Sometimes it’s difficult to talk about fathers. I know so many people that had grown up without a father, or a father that was always at work, a father that was abusive, or a father that abused substances. Everyday I see the results of what a father did to his own daughter, I’ll leave it at that.

I wanted to begin with my father. I’ve always praised my father, he was a great man. I consider myself the luckiest kid in the neighborhood where I grew up, even though he died when I was just 20. He was a WW2 veteran that worked until he retired despite the fact he was 100% disabled from being shot through his back in The Battle of the Bulge. He didn’t drink and was there for us kids, but my father grew up in the depression. In Boston at that time there were no jobs so his father left when he was a small child to mine coal in Virginia. From what I understand my father was angry that he had left and wasn’t around for his mother or his siblings. You can imagine when my father’s younger brother got sick and died at 7 years old, and believed it was from malnutrition , the resentment my father must have carried with him. Many cycles that could have been passed down to us kids were certainly ended when my father married my mother and the 4 of us kids were born, but somethings remained.

Many guys are not very affectionate. Showing affection, they think, is not manly or maybe they weren’t shown affection themselves so now they have a hard time with it. Showing affection to your kids may not be easy for some but it’s certainly manly to do this that isn’t easy. This was one deficiency my father had, though he and my mother certainly provided for us kids and always made sure we were taken care of, he wasn’t one to show much affection.

Parents have the ability to impact their children like no one else can. Without the father’s approval and validation a child will feel a void. Every person needs the blessing from their father. Many adults struggle year after year with low self esteem, working all the time, trying to prove that they’re good enough, all because of their father’s lack of affirmation. Fathers have something to give their children, something that no one else can give. Others can tell them how great they are or how special they are but when a father tells them it holds a much greater weight.

As the father you have the God given authority to bless your child. Every time a father says I’m proud of you, I love you, your beautiful, God releases strength into that child. Value, confidence, security, those are more than just nice words, it’s what the Bible calls A Fathers Blessing. You are helping your child to achieve their destiny. It’s easier to think you don’t need to do this but it’s something that needs to be done. Don’t withhold your love, your affection or your approval.

I believe this one negative cycle passed from my father’s father through my father to me. Don’t let that happen with your kids. Always remember a blessing isn’t a blessing until it’s spoken.

Life is short. It doesn’t matter how old your kids are. A phone call saying, son have I told you how proud I am of you. It doesn’t matter their age, a child will always long for a father’s approval, it’s never too late.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished my father was around to see some of my accomplishments. As a carpenter I’ve fixed up our families houses, I rebuilt our lake house, though we struggle at times I can’t tell you how many times I wished he was around to see it and say good job son, I’m proud of you.

Know fathers, if a young lady doesn’t get the approval from her father many times she will try to get that approval from other men. She will go from relationship to relationship not valuing who she is because she has not been valued by the most important man in her life. You are teaching your daughter how other men should treat her. You’re setting the tone for how she thinks other men should treat her. You should set the bar high. Make her standard high for the man she will one day choose.

As we have learned our government tried its best to inject our bodies with harmful chemicals, they spray our food with poison, poison our atmosphere and divide us against one another, I think the most basic knowledge should be learning how much parents impact their children’s life. Knowledge is power and we should be aware that our childhood and the decisions our parents made have a lot to do with the rails that have been set that guide our lives. J.Goodrich

Deb's avatar

Well said.

I have 4 adult children, all of whom made it home from the four corners of the globe this year for Christmas. Deo gratias.

Each of them (three men and a daughter) are acknowledged leaders. I could not be more proud of them, and I told each of them so.

Yesterday, I was standing in my front yard when a neighbor struck up a convo about my son’s Corvette in the driveway (he left it there temporarily while going on a cruise.)

Her son is a US Marine officer, and my youngest is a Senior NCO just back from the Far East where he led a USMC Augmented Force protecting the President in Tokyo.

I remarked “I honestly admire and look up to each one of my children.”

And they know it because I tell them so.

Quran 5:33 - The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and do mischief in the land is only that they shall be killed or crucified or their hands and their feet be cut off on the opposite sides, or be exiled from the land. That is their disgrace in this world, and a great torment is theirs in the Hereafter.

Nothing will change, except who is peddling the majority of the drugs. Even if they totally shut down the drug trade out of venezuela (which isn't a very big drop in the bucket ) - the vacuum will quickly be filled and it will be business as usual.

Happy New Year! Have a laugh (or two):

Three writers, Frank, Ben, and Carl, who were attending a author’s convention, booked a three bedroom suite on the 75th floor of a hotel.

Upon arriving back at their inn from the convention, a mortified receptionist told them, “I’m terribly sorry, but all the elevators are out of order. Until fixed, you will have to hike the stairs.”

Now, Frank was a teller of funny stories, Ben was a conjurer of spooky stories, and Carl was a crafter of sad stories. The three of them concluded that, to make the trek to the top more tolerable, Frank would tell the other two his most hilarious stories while they climbed from floors 1 to 25, Ben would intone his scariest stories from floors 26 to 50, and Carl would regale them with his saddest stories from floors 51 to 75.

They began the arduous climb to the tippity top story, and Frank banged out the zaniest yarns he had ever put to paper. By the time they reached the 25th floor, Ben and Carl were howling hysterically.

Then Ben started to intone his spooky stories. By the time they hit the 50th floor milestone, Frank and Carl were wide-eyed and hugging each other in fear.

Then the spotlight was turned on poor Carl, and just as he started to narrate his most sorrowful sagas, he shrugged his shoulders, looked down in sadness, dug his hands around in his pockets for effect, and it then struck him that he had just had the inspiration for his most mournful tale yet:

“I’ll tell my saddest story of all right off the bat,” he says looking up: “There once was a man named Carl who left the hotel room key in the car...”

....

A grumpy drill sergeant was addressing a squad of twenty-five exhausted men and said:

“I have a nice cushy job for the laziest man here. Raise your hand if you are the laziest.”

24 tired blokes quickly raised their hands, and the sergeant asked the other man “why didn’t you raise your hand?”

The man replied: “Too much trouble raising the hand, Sarge.”

“Mom, don’t get alarmed, but I’m at the hospital.”

....

“Son, please. You’ve been a surgeon there for 8 years now. Can we start our phone calls differently?”

....

Little Kate (on phone): My daughter is having high fever and sadly she won’t be able to come to school today!

Teacher: Who is this?

Little Kate: This is my mother speaking

Skeptical Actuary's avatar

That story of the hotel with the broken elevator reminded me of the time I stayed on the 3rd story of a place with broken elevator. I extended the stay one day, and found out when I got back to the room that the key card didn't work. I used my cell phone to call the front desk and made the guy at the front desk bring up a new key card. I really should have tipped him, but didn't think about it until I checked out, and he wasn't on duty then. They cut my room rate in half for the stay.

It wouldn't have been too bad if I still had good knees and a heart rate that didn't spike to 140 or so when climbing stairs.

The Russians told Trump to back off it and now there's a bunch of c17s heading to the UK as the ship steams back to Europe to evade sanctions. I think Trump is starting to show some backbone.

I've already been to Ukraine once before under Trump and performed assistance ops and even got a medal and a gift (piece of a KA52 they shot down and some armor from a destroyed russian tank) from them for my work

As I savor my wonderful light roast Americano, I ponder deep things such as "if the average Somalian has an IQ of 67, why didn't smarter people cook up this scheme sooner?" After another satisfying sip from my thermal mug, I began to wonder if smarter people *did* cook up this scheme, with the Somalians being generously rewarded assets of a much grander operation conducted by those who cried like stuck pigs when DJT targeted USAID. After yet another satisfying splash of Americano, my thoughts turned to the suitcases of cash couriered out of the country by brilliant Somali rocket scientists, only to be laundered through ActBlue into competitive races in the US. Oh well, I just finished the last sip, and it's time to dream of the day when justice and accountability come crashing down on the "differently moraled" among us.

It is a matter of morals, not brains. "If you're so smart, why ain't you rich" is an amoral saying that shows their mentality.
