I am extremely upset with this "court" decision. Would this US Court of International Trade even have come into play AT ALL, if it were not for the ridiculous frivolous lawsuit by those eleven stupid states?

God’s timing is impeccable. But for all those long years when His people had been carried away into captivity by various other nations around them and then finally ending up under the Roman occupation, I’m certain His perfect timing felt like anything but. They chaffed right along with the best of us.
My spirit is certain that God is at work in our world in big ways right now. The fact that nothing looks like it’s going the right way on the surface as we pray and hope for divine intervention right before our eyes just means it is not yet His “right time.” One step forward, two steps back would seem to be the rhythm of things right now.

It is incredibly frustrating, but I am holding onto hope that these insane moves by liberal judges will force a reckoning and clarification of judicial power and separation between the branches. I do understand their concern, Trump is upending the apple cart, and if a D were president and doing the same things I would be upset, much like when Biden way overstepped during his admin.
But it appears that Trump is being very calculated in what he does to stay within the law, so I’m hanging onto my faith that this will work out well, that common sense and the rule of law will prevail . We shall see.

Today I needed to hear the hopeful voice of reason, because I was thinking very negatively about our political situation, both National and State. It seems that Trump is overwhelmed with opposition at every turn and Congress isn’t helping at all. And here in Texas, conservatives are extremely concerned about the takeover of our legislature.
Once again, we must go back to God in prayer because the fight was far from over with Trump’s election.

If the court ruled 'regulate' does not mean ’levy tariffs' but the President may still “… block, ... prevent or prohibit… importation… of any property in which any foreign country or a national thereof has any interest” then Trump should do that instead. Congress has been decades in abdication of its constitutional responsibilities (for example, only Congress can declare war, enact tariffs, control spending, impeach unconstitutional judges, and so on). The executive function has been largely unconstitutionally neutered by the usurpations of the administrative state aided and abetted by the legislative and judicial branches. And the judiciary has exceeded its constitutional self by an 'activism' which destroys both the legislative and executive functions. In essence, the whole constitutional arrangement of American government is dead. And on the political score, one side in the contest is hell-bent into transforming the United States into a Bolshevik/Maoist hell-hole. The better side, in my opinion, wants a return to normalcy, an undertaking which requires the entire restructuring of the Collective West. And now with the tariff ruling which is just one more moving part of the civil war, things have gone existentially over the cliff.
I long ago, with the advent of tariffs on scene, saw this all coming. My reaction is, what took them so long with doing this cute trick. It is only logical that a judicial system apostate the old law would use the old law to stake their claim, but only when it suits.

Our "Supreme Court" acted in a similar fashion with their non-engagement during the stolen 2020 (s)election. States (TX and a dozen plus others) didn't have "standing" when multiple states violated Article I, Section 4. clause 1 where state legislatures determine the "Times, Places and Manner...". That square peg doesn't fit the round hole. 2 plus 2 does not equal 5.

We have a wrongful termination case in mediation in a Federal Courtroom in Baltimore right now and the entire courtroom still has plexiglass panels in front of the jury box, the judge’s bench, and the visitor seating area.

This week, I drove 8 hours to babysit my cousin’s granddaughter for two days, and then I will drive 8 hours home on Saturday to work that night. A few years ago, we drove from LR, AR to upper WI for a weekend with family and then back home. I have driven 14 hours one day, to spend two days with family, and then 14 hours back home, when we go visit family in CO.

God’s timing is impeccable. But for all those long years when His people had been carried away into captivity by various other nations around them and then finally ending up under the Roman occupation, I’m certain His perfect timing felt like anything but. They chaffed right along with the best of us.
My spirit is certain that God is at work in our world in big ways right now. The fact that nothing looks like it’s going the right way on the surface as we pray and hope for divine intervention right before our eyes just means it is not yet His “right time.” One step forward, two steps back would seem to be the rhythm of things right now.

It is incredibly frustrating, but I am holding onto hope that these insane moves by liberal judges will force a reckoning and clarification of judicial power and separation between the branches. I do understand their concern, Trump is upending the apple cart, and if a D were president and doing the same things I would be upset, much like when Biden way overstepped during his admin.
But it appears that Trump is being very calculated in what he does to stay within the law, so I’m hanging onto my faith that this will work out well, that common sense and the rule of law will prevail . We shall see.

Today I needed to hear the hopeful voice of reason, because I was thinking very negatively about our political situation, both National and State. It seems that Trump is overwhelmed with opposition at every turn and Congress isn’t helping at all. And here in Texas, conservatives are extremely concerned about the takeover of our legislature.
Once again, we must go back to God in prayer because the fight was far from over with Trump’s election.

And the judiciary has exceeded its constitutional self by an 'activism' which destroys both the legislative and executive functions. In essence, the whole constitutional arrangement of American government is dead. And on the political score, one side in the contest is hell-bent into transforming the United States into a Bolshevik/Maoist hell-hole. The better side, in my opinion, wants a return to normalcy, an undertaking which requires the entire restructuring of the Collective West. The solution is simple, disallow NIH's and other gov't scientists from owning patents while they work for the American people. Actually, take out the revolving door between industries and gov't agencies while we're at it.
If they invent products while on the government payroll, the government should own the patents. That's what private companies do; they don't allow their employees to double-dip by collecting royalties on products they invented as part of their jobs.

Unfortunately it’s also taking out people who were coerced into taking it or simply naively believed the experts who said it was safe 😞 It’s a harsh price to pay for that. Though I can’t muster much sympathy for the jab pushers and those who wanted non jabbers to be ostracized, sent to camps, denied food and medical care, etc.

If he was ignorant enough to brag about taking it while from his foul mouth telling us it was safe and effective so jab your kids and anyone you can, he deserves what he got. Can you name one company that has promised to come back to America and create lots of jobs? Many companies already making their stuff here have been laying off workers because of the cost of the tariffs.
And most companies pass the costs of tariffs on to their customers.

That would be awful. A few weeks ago, I drove 4.5 hours one way to have lunch with a friend, visit a few hours, and then 4.5 hours to drive home. This week, I drove 8 hours to babysit my cousin’s granddaughter for two days, and then I will drive 8 hours home on Saturday to work that night. A few years ago, we drove from LR, AR to upper WI for a weekend with family and then back home. I have driven 14 hours one day, to spend two days with family, and then 14 hours back home, when we go visit family in CO.

Yep- when starting a policy one must declare approximate mileage per year. Also- that year, we had a drive safe device in the car. The promise is a greater discount on your premium. Don’t fall for it. it’s a track and trace device.

Insurance companies have been asking how far you expect to drive, and whether a car is used for pleasure, work, etc for decades. Common sense in that business. I guess if you lie on the form, and they somehow figure it out, your rate will increase. Go figure.
They figure it out because you must tell them at each renewal what the current mileage is so they can recalculate the fees. Yes, they can check your odometer.

I’m in CA - the Orwellian paradise - just came to me that you might think I meant the govt could check - no, I meant the insurer can ask to see your odometer and then adjust your insurance fees accordingly.
If you lie about your yearly mileage (records will show your odometer) and then have an accident they have an out and can refuse to cover you.
I think the theory is more miles driven = more risk. Still, it’s disconcerting, especially since people living in rural areas (for one example) can’t really avoid driving a lot 😕
I used to commute 22 miles, one way through farm country, to work M-F. I remembering completing a life-expectancy evaluation, the result of which was I would likely die in an auto accident due to my commute.
