Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with. —Ayn Rand

CA legislature just passed AB1078, which removes local school districts any control or input in instructional materials and curriculum. In CA, that means we’re going to have even more indoctrination in the schools. Everyone in CA needs to pull their kids out.

They’ve also a passed a law stating that kids can change their gender and name at age 12, take hormones, etc., with the help for the school without informing the parents. If a parent protests, the state can take the child away.

Interesting. Which, in my mind, just might be an instance of deliberate ambiguity, a polemic, juuuuust enough to allow for interpretation and provocation between this side and that. I mean, how much harder to design a poster that reads, Freedom from Mandates? --

DeSantis is a politician, pure and simple. Not saying he's not doing some noteworthy stuff. But by the time you get to governor, and most assuredly by the time you have launched a bid for the presidency, you have people around you who are salivating at their shot for whatever piece of the action they can get, at whatever level. And for sure a stable of yes men/people. Not to mention the fact that you've been selected. --

Here is another take (mine):

Some among us feel more secure when all decisions are made for them. They embrace their slavery. They worship "authority" (authority is about as legitimate as a three dollar bill - it's a fantasy and doesn't exit in reality). These are the folks that are fighting tooth and nail to transform this world into a gulag.

NPCs are real - they just don't know it.

Expand full comment
Raptor's avatar

"NPCs are real - they just don't know it." Holy moly is that ever the truth.

Related side story. A couple weeks ago I saw someone (who I like) in a parking lot. We had not seen each other in a long while. I reached out and hugged her and she me. When I pulled back I grabbed her shoulders and said "remember when you said there would never be anyone hugging anymore ever and that practice should and will be done?" She didn't remember of course. I said "which felt better, me saying hi friend at 6 feet with my face covered or us hugging like we mean it and which do you think is more healthy in the long run?" She said "The hugging, but" I stopped her. "No buts. We have to learn, connection is important and we needn't fear people. Sick people should try to stay home, the rest of us should live life. I have missed you and when you emailed me a while back when I was sick to check on me, I meant it when I said it meant a lot!"

I am certain people are fearful and are easily manipulated. Others are evil machiavellian karens. I am starting to suss out who is who IRL and concentrating on giving people a shot of reality and courage. But that does not change their desire to be run by someone else. Maybe it's laziness or maybe stupidity. Not sure.

Ticonderoga - in the winter! - and put them on Dorchester Heights to get the British Navy out of Boston Harbor.

I get it - not all have the smarts or courage to be patriots. But everyone can do a small acts like the proverbial candle in the window. Use cash more often! Donlt wear masks! Refuse any mandatory jabs! Learn more about natural ways to boost human immune systems from getting more sunlight (Vitamin D). And spread the word and celebrate any victories by those doing the big public fights which will give courage to some fence sitters to engage in the fight, too.

And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who sat on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and wages war. His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; and He has a name written on Him which no one knows except Himself. He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses. From His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike down the nations, and He will rule them with a rod of iron; and He treads the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty. And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”

My dad fell in the grass and his face looked far worse than hers. I find it odd no neighbors had a weapon and/or didn't at least show it to get these 4 idiots away from her and her kids. Did the neighbors not call 911? Heck, didn't one of them film it? You know that's what everyone does now instead of helping: pulls out a cellphone and hits record. I'm not happy she was injured, of course, but wow... that's how a person's mind is changed quickly.

When the "father " was interviewed that afternoon, the first thing he preached was gun control. Our daughter shot herself in the head almost 4 years ago, and I can tell you with 100 % certainty that any parent who has just lost a child is thinking of a million things in the immediate aftermath, , but gun control isn't one of them. Sometimes things actually are as they appear.

Crime has skyrocketed in Minneapolis (the city proper) where she lives. There's good reason people leave the central cities and move to the suburbs. It's called self-preservation for those smart enough to think for themselves rather than act based on feelings.

This story is almost certainly real. She's a brain-dead lefty who thought her "compassion" would protect her from inner city pathology. Instead she was assaulted by a group of thugs (whose race is conspicuously absent from her rant) and now she feels betrayed. The same people she is supposedly trying to "help" attacked her.

No need to create a conspiracy when simple human nature explains things perfectly.

I don't doubt she was attacked, but the blood looks fake, there are no bruises, her hair is nicely combed, make up is nice, eyes look pretty bright (and not full of pain) for someone who had, according to her, the "s**t beaten" out of her, plus a broken leg? My first reaction to all of this would not be to take a selfie and post it online. Rather, it would be 1., are my kids safe? 2. I think I'd better call an ambulance and family to look after my kids. The last thing on my mind would be gun control and taking photos of myself.

Broken window theory - It was also understood that when a building had a broken window, it made it a target to break more windows. And so this was carried over to turnstile jumping, graffiti etc. Every morning NYC subways left the depots completely and freshly repainted in grey, so the overnight efforts of graffiti artists were erased. Paddy wagons were set up at subway stations and turnstile jumpers were held in the van and then all hauled to the station for booking. Very quickly NYC showed the criminals that crime did NOT pay. When they talk about holding people accountable, especially the young criminals, they leave out the fact that they are often doing these young people a favor.

I was a wild, drug and alcohol infused teenager in NYC back in the 1960s. My wrist was slapped several times until I came before a wise judge who decided I needed 3 years in a reformatory. That was the beginning of the end of my substance abusing days. My mother was the only one in court who wasn’t surprised so I suspect she privately lobbied for that sentence.

I thank God for that judge as I needed the wake up call!

It’s been over 50 years since I recovered from alcohol and drug abuse. I retired near the top of my chosen field and have been an inspiration for many of my siblings to overcome their own addiction. It all started when that judge held me accountable.

Remember, young criminals who are not held accountable often become hardened criminals or, as they used to say, Spare the Rod, Spoil the Child.

I had a conversation with a fellow mom the other day in our very conservative north east Florida neighborhood. She just casually mentioned that her nanny had ‘the covid’ and she didn’t quite know what to do since her kids hadn’t gotten a ‘booster’. I was flabbergasted and only got out that she should definitely not let her kids have any covid vaccines. If the vax was off the market uninformed people wouldn’t have to wonder whether to give it to their kids.

Honestly though most parents I know around here have strong opinions about covid vax for kids. A lot are also questioning other vaccines as well (like us).

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

This is the problem: it's not a vaccine. The whole public conversation about the shot gets side-tracked by allowing them to call it a vaccine. Then the whole conversation becomes about being anti-vaccine. Vaccine has NOTHING to do with it. The shot is Gene Therapy and is legally classified as a Bio-Weapon under both Florida and Federal Law. This is how they control the narrative and the conversation and manipulate us.

Think about this. EVERY time the word vaccine is used, refuse to use the word and yank it back to gene therapy. THAT'S WHAT IT IS. It is a gene therapy bio-weapon developed by the Dept of Defense. Not Pfizer!

They empaneled a Grand Jury, which Governor DeSantis mentioned yesterday. Pharma has 2/3 of Congress by the short hairs, and the level of entrenchment in physician's offices, and regulatory bodies, and hospitals and insurance companies and Medicare/Medicaid and the MSM is unfathomable, so they need something besides their own anecdotal data, otherwise they would appear dictatorial. That being said, it might be that Skull and Bones, the Bushes, Opus Dei or the mafia have DeSantis, but no one comes to power without powerful half visible forces backing them, "the widowhood of every government" as Leonard Cohen sang, so I'm waiting for the Grand Jury. He and Joe Lapado are saving lives just by speaking out, so I applaud them.

Expand full comment
Politico Phil's avatar

When I first heard that from DeSantis a few months ago, I said, "Finally! A Grand Jury." Then I found out recently that the GJ is NOT tasked with a criminal investigation with the goal of handing down criminal indictments. Seriously?! In other words, it's simply theater designed to placate us folks who want real accountability!

Now I haven't seen the Jury's charter so I don't know exactly what they are suppose to be doing. I would really like Jeff to read their charter, which I'm sure he's already seen, and comment on it. But as far as I can tell it is all theatrical bullshit that will accomplish nothing.

I'm done "Waiting" for someone to take action and I'm done making excuses - yes, excuses - for our officials like DeSantis and Ladapo, and don't forget the Attorney General, not doing their job of protecting the citizens of FL. We have counties all over FL adopting "Ban the Jab" resolution with sheriffs ready and willing to enforce a ban. Where is DeSantis? Why is he not out front leading this? With his leadership, the jab would ALREADY be criminalized in FL. Saving lives? They are abandoning their duty to save lives. The gene therapy bio-weapon is STILL on the market in FL and is STILL being shoved into children's arms even though Surgeon General Ladapo has publicly said no one should take the shot. DeSantis needs to get his head screwed on straight and get back in the fight and do his sworn duty! They are not saving lives. They are complicit in their harm and death due to their inaction. Remember the quote of Edmund Burke? Something about good men doing nothing?

No more excuses. Dr. David Martin published the HARD EVIDENCE of the conspiracy to commit genocide, including their public admission of guilt, almost 2 years ago and sent it out to various Gov's, AGs and Congressional leaders. I myself sent it to DeSantis, the FL AG, SG Ladapo and other state Governors and AGs. Two years ago. The result? Crickets. Nothing from Congress and nothing from our State leaders.

Everything that has happened has been theater. And now? Now they are about to deploy another plandemic. I can't imagine anyone would buy into it but...Really? I would not have believed the last two years if anyone had told me about it ahead of time so maybe America will buy into it AGAIN. Probably. Why? Because, except for a few people like David Martin, none of our duly elected office holders will stand up and state the FACTS and back it up with the authority we the people invest in them.

But but but...What about Kennedy? Don't even get me started on Kennedy. He is supporting the narrative by constantly equating the bio-weapon gene therapy death shot with vaccines. Thus the conversation is always co-opted about vaccines and the anti-vaxxers and diverted away from a conversation about gene altering bio-weapons used on Americans by our own Gov't. The American people are PREVENTED from seeing through the fog of this theater precisely because of this kind of rhetoric. EVERYTHING that has happened to this date has been theater! Prove me wrong. "But what about what DeSantis has done for FL?" Everything DeSantis did, while in and of itself a good thing, was done after the lock downs and the bio-weapon deployment was a fait accompli and after he had strongly urged all seniors in FL to get the shot. He closed the barn door after the horse had gotten out and the barn was on fire. I hate saying it because I really like DeSantis but this is the definition of theater.

Watch this video interview with Dr. David Martin and absorb what he is saying and then spread the word....

In addition DeSantis rather than calling for an end to the unconstitutional federal control over our health (and education) he proposes to reorganize it. BTW Trump’s stance isn’t any better. We need people in government who can read, understand and actually support our Constitutional which grants very limited powers to the federal government.

This could be said about many "vaccines" that probably don't work and/or have serious side effects, not just the covid jabs. Flu, shingles, pneumonia, monkey pox, etc. They're all taken voluntarily. Outlawing the covid jabs is the complete opposite of mandating them with both requiring government overreach which, no one wants. FL's Surgeon General should continue educating FL's population and medical communities so people can make their own decisions based on facts and actual data. And Gov DeSantis should continue making sure no one is subject to a mandate. What's that saying..."you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink"?

County Public Health Department Requests PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS to Take CDC SURVEY with SEXUAL BEHAVIOR QUESTIONS for Health Department to Receive $$$

Survey: Youth Risk Behavior Survey for middle and high school students

Note: This is an annual CDC survey and your school districts/states may be administering. In 2021, districts in 45 states participated.

--‐-----

Revere School District, in NE Ohio's Summit county, has been requested by the Summit County Public Health Department to participate in the Youth Risk Behavior Survey "sponsored by" Case Western Reserve's Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods. The data obtained will help the "health department obtain funding through grants and other channels".

116 questions - 8 on sexual behavior

The school district is being proactive and transparent. The Superintendent wants to inform parents upfront with the survey's content so they can decide if they want their kids to participate in this data collection.

This transparency can happen, according to the Superintendent, only if Summit County Public Health agrees to partner and share the survey's questions so informed decisions can be made.

The Superintendent had this to say: "I think in full transparency to our families...I would love ro support Summit County, but I don't want to create a problem for Revere".

CDC link showing state/school district 2021 participation https://www.cdc.gov/healthyyouth/data/yrbs/participation.htm

Does the CDC deserve any child participating in this survey? My answer is no. A steep drop in child participation and/or school district participation, will send yet another signal. Do not comply!

-----

This national survey may be just a part of the annual routine that people don't know about. Please pass on to your networks so parents can be informed.

The Summit County Public Health Department is so far left that NO ONE should allow their children to participate in this survey. I personally have worked with them for years as a former elected local Fiscal Officer. They are jabbing innocent children and Ohioans and when the jabs dropped in acceptance they were going out to drum up more business to kill off more Ohioans! None of these agencies give a damn about people’s health! They love pushing all of the jabs no matter which one it is. They tried to do that to us when we would attend meetings and I would just put them in their place about how wrong they were. Thank God I retired in 2015. I know people who worked there until the last couple of years and they singled out people who refused the jabs. They harassed them, intimidated them and so on. They forced them to wear masks when the jabbed didn’t have to. Plus guess who always got covid…..the jabbed!!!! None of this will be good for the district or the students. Our state and federal government can not be trusted now more than ever. Just say no!!!!!!! And parents make sure they don’t try to intimidate your kids into doing it! I know how many districts work and their left administrations. Their superintendent is rare in the public education system today. Most just march to their orders and they don’t give a damn about any transparency.

You are welcome! I woke up in the 90’s and have not sat down yet!!! I have really seen the decline in our local and county offices and their mentality from the time I was appointed, then elected in the mid-90’s. The democrats of earlier years had not become so evil and despicable as they are now or at least it wasn’t so obvious. Now our Summit County Government is horribly corrupt, along with the City of Akron. I knew many of the democrat officeholders then and they didn’t believe like the ones in office now. Unfortunately many of them have left and even died. We need a lot more people to stand up and run for local offices to clean them out.

I'm originally from Ohio (left in '87 and never went back), and my sister still lives there. At the height of covid-nonsense, she would tell me how angry she was when she saw somebody walking around without a mask, and how it was a law, and why arent they being arrested?!

I said, "because a mandate isnt a law."

Her: "I get that. But *I* have to wear a mask - they should, too! What makes them special?!"

Me: "YOU dont have to wear a mask, either. So, dont."

Her: "yes I do have to wear one! It's a MANDATE!"

Me: "A mandate isnt a law. You dont HAVE to wear a mask."

Her: "I know it's not a law. But if *I* have to wear a mask, so should THEY."

And around and around and around we would go. She was half-awake (she never got the "vaxx", even tho she works in an elder-care facility). I just couldnt get her to wake all the way up.

"The school district is being proactive and transparent."

If a grown-up was running the school he would have simply said no. A straight-forward, "this is not the proper role of the school so we will not be distributing this questionnaire" would have sufficed.

We give people way to much credit for being "balanced". When any organization requests access to students with highly personal and intrusive questions the answer is automatically no. Instead we give these performative charades credibility.

This is why my kids attend/attended a Biblical Christian school run by a wise man. I don't have to worry about him "anguishing" about whether or not to do something like this. He'll simply tell them to go pound sand.

A thought to consider: perhaps the Superintendent wants to get his hands on the survey to enlighten what's going on. Will the health department release the survey? Will Case allow that? Will the CDC allow that? Maybe this is similiar to getting lawsuits into the discovery phase so information can be learned. Don't know, but perhaps there are multiple motivations. Clearly the county's health department has been exposed. Taking wins where possible. I will come back and update this story to see what happened when I learn more.

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Perhaps. And I certainly agree it's better to bring it to parent's attention than to just distribute it.

However, back when men had chests the superintendent would have just said no. This is not the role of the school and he knows it (or if he doesn't know it he should be fired). But nearly all people in a bureaucratic position like his are cowards driven by politics. So instead of doing his job he's attempting to pass the buck to the parents.

This is why the woke nonsense and sexual deviancy has invaded public schools, even in small town and rural districts. Those running the schools are cowards, who are afraid to say no as they know the activists will call them names. They know this stuff is deeply unpopular with parents, and they know it's wrong. Yet they pretend as if their hands are tied or put on the "balanced" charade to cover up their own cowardice.

Get you kids out of government schools now. Homeschool or a *biblical* Christian school are the only alternatives. A school being private or calling itself "Christian" isn't good enough as these cowards are everywhere.

And let us not forget the many veteran police officers fired over the jab mandates-- jabs that were experimental, unnecessary, and in any event, ineffective and anything but safe. Are there consequences for this? Does the sun come up in the east? Or is the moon made of calamari? This is a transcript of some very disturbing testimony from a year ago before the NYC council-- and it could have come from any one of a large number of cities.

TRANSCRIPT

LAUREN O'ROURKE: My name is Lauren O'Rourke, I'm a retired NYPD detective from the Fugitive Enforcement Division. I'm speaking to you today on behalf of my former colleagues who are too afraid to speak out due to retaliation from the upper management of the NYPD, which I'm sure Mayor Adams himself can attest to.

Thousands of NYPD officers were mandated to vaccinate or be terminated by October 29th of 2021. The vast majority of those officers had already contracted and recovered from covid during the height of the pandemic. They contracted it due to poor ventilation and inadequate PPE while they worked.

We brought up natural immunity in lieu of vaccination. We were scoffed at, even though thousands of years of science dictates naturally acquiring a disease and recovering from it is the best protection against severe illness from a virus.

The CDC and the rest of the experts are finally acknowledging what we have said all along, the exception being the New York City Health Commissioner Ashwin Vasan in his appointed role.

The city council just a few weeks ago passed landmark legislation for women named the Maternal Health Bill. Hundreds of NYPD who were pregnant or undergoing the grueling process of fertility treatments were treated like pariahs. They were forced to choose between their unborn children and putting food on the table. They were forced between taking a shot for a disease that they had already acquired and their own chances at motherhood. Their medical accommodation requests were denied in the cruelest way, as we all watched unvaccinated millionaires play a sport or hold a concert without the same mandate. The fact that the city of New York cannot grant these women even a temporary accommodation was just cruel, unscientific, and it was elitist.

There are no long term studies effects on these vaccines and their effects on reproduction and fertility. As usual, women's health is pushed to the back burner by a man who knows better.

The mandate is inhumane, unscientific, and unforgivable. The damage these mandates have caused will not be forgotten quickly. The men and women of this department deserve better, the residents of New York City deserve better. Our student athletes deserve better. Our teachers, firemen, sanitation workers and nurses deserve better—

GALE A. BREWER: Thank you very much.

LAUREN O'ROURKE: And the blue collar workers that keep this city going deserve better.

GALE A. BREWER: Thank you very much.

LAUREN O'ROURKE: Please end these mandates!

GALE A. BREWER: Thank you.

DeSantis and Dr. Ladapo are the bomb!!! My husband I have been talking about how movies seem to predict future realities Many of these dystopian movies like The Hunger Games portray a grim future where government control every aspect of our lives and allow zero personal freedoms. DeSantis just took this on and I love it!!

“we will not — allow the dystopian visions of paranoid, hypochondriacs control our health policies, let alone our state.”

We the people have to call them out and say out loud we won’t allow 15 minutes cities and we won’t allow you the government to control our lives or dictate loose morals. DeSantis and Ladapo as well as Trump are fighting this good fight.
