I can't determine if Trump has moved quicker to put America back on the right track, in the first hundred days, or if the previous administration derailed the country faster in the first 100 days of their reign.

The mother who captured it on film has already had a judgment of 1.4 million levelled against her now IFPC, who featured the story on their website, is facing the possibility of extinction if the complainant wins his defamation suit. He is breaking stuff at an almost incomprehensible rate and has largely surrounded himself with like minded leaders in his administration. I have been very impressed by Lee Zeldin, even though I knew him from his run for NY governor, he’s really been awesome so far as EPA head. I was initially slightly puzzled by that choice, but no more!
I am a little dismayed. I called the EPA last week and got a recording “If you are calling regarding contrails (did they mean chemtrails?) there is no evidence that harmful chemicals are being sprayed into our atmosphere “.

All the others remain in the scrolling banner after I read them for at least most of the day, and I can quickly and easily go back to one if I need to. But as soon as I open C&C? It disappears permanently from the scroll banner. I always have to tap my profile and select C&C from my follows to get here.
I’m also seeing a swarm of delusional and radically hateful libs trying to influence the comments section of the more powerful conservative stacks, including C&C and Sasha Stone’s “Through the Fourth Turning.” Hers has been inundated lately because her conversion is such a powerful testament and an all out affront to Hollywood elites (along with their political reps that they support.) I think you mean the inbox icon? I don’t have a four little squares icon. But the inbox icon does show a chronological listing of anyone I follow, but I never use that because it’s endless scrolling just to find one specific Substack since every single post, even a note, is listed there. The ease of the scrolling banner at top of the home page is supposed to highlight your most read out of those you subscribe to, not all of them. Just now C&C has disappeared from that scroll, but Malone News from yesterday is still showing, as are all the other Substacks I read yesterday and this morning. Only C&C completely disappears from the spinning banner. It certainly looks intentional to down-view his Substack.
On my app the far left is a house shape which is home page, the next is an icon of 4 little squares which is my inbox (the icon changed recently), then I think one for videos and one for messages.
Also, check your settings. I only get articles in my inbox, maybe that’s something that can be changed?
I would suggest Proton Mail, shayne, to get away from the "big email" companies (gmail, yahoo mail, comcast, etc.) that read and target your information.

My home page also disappears C&C after it’s read. The same happens with bad cattitude (el gato malo). Also, when I click on “U.S. Politics” on the topic bar at the top of the app, the feed that comes up is ALL left wing writers, zero conservative or even the half-breeds like The Dispatch. My main feed is slowly being infiltrated as well. This all started happening with the influx of progressive subs since the election. There is definitely a concerted effort underway to muzzle conservative voices.
I fail to see the connection being made by the Substack-to-Buttondown author re Nazis. It was the Covid-lockdown warriors who were supporting the building of quarantine camps in some states, not those against what was happening and posting on Substack.

Austin FItts also said on a recent money and markets report, citing an analysis I think from Conservative Treehouse stack, that an actual investigation into DOGE revealed they had actually, in reality, saved a whopping $12 billion. That is like me saving a penny.
I think too many here are taking the administrations word and not actually digging into reality. It actually doesn't. DOGE ratcheted down their savings expectations from 2T to 1T to 250B by 2026. But then increased military spending by 1T. This isn't something I see people get worried about. In MO we had a gov candidate (who lost) who raised $233K from 13,600 'donors', only 52% of them from MO, and many of the small dollar donors were from other states, saying 'retired' and multiple donations in small dollar amounts. A guy from Bowling Green KY donated $682 in 313 contributions, for example. And his PAC raised over a million in much the same pattern. He had a lot of supporters among my friends and ran as a 'grassroots' anti- establishment candidate - but he was a lot of hot air. Campaign finance overall is basically a cesspool.

I think I received two PAC donations…about $500 each. My opponent? The majority of her fundraising came from the Teachers Union and….wait for it…ACT BLUE.
Well, Act Blue and Win Red are just fundraising platforms. There is nothing wrong with either of them, per se. My friend who ran last year used it as it was the easy button- the platform requires the donor to provide the info the FEC requires - occupation, employer, etc. But also took donations via PayPal but his treasurer had to follow up to get the missing info, which is time consuming. Where it goes off the rails is the ability to mass process donations from questionable sources.
Funny our local elections are supposed to be 'non-partisan' but we've had candidates who used Act Blue to fundraise, which makes it easy to figure out who to NOT vote for.

I was one such donator last fall, giving small amounts to candidates that I liked but were out of my state, and I selected retired because I don’t work and am a few years shy of retirement age. It’s easy to find out if the donations are legitimate just by asking those who donated if they did. With ActBlue most when asked were unaware and said they never donated, and the donations in their names were many, some recurring endlessly.
I doubt WinRed has the same kind of scheme and I bet if you asked their donors like me all would say that yes, they did donate.

Yes, although maybe in agreement, very hard to see my daughter’s real estate investment (her condo) in the beltway lose its value. She is a government lawyer who does not make even a fraction what she used to as a law firm associate. She loves what she does…feeling that she makes a difference rather than making $$ for rich people, but is now concerned that her finances are going to be further negatively impacted with plummeting real estate!
I live in DC area and as of this point in time I see little or no evidence of any real estate "crash" occurring. It could change but it isn't happening right now. People are still moving here for the return to office mandate. Until DOD is cut in a significant manner (an unlikely event) real estate will hold its own in the DC area.
My sympathies to your daughter but when you're young you can make some fairly quick adjustments to a changing world. I can only hope she didnt work for Biden's DOJ as they did decades of damage to the law most of us were raised with. Well I didn't get yesterday's C&C in my email box as usual, and had to go looking for it this morning. So......
And in the mobile app, the top banner that shows latest articles for the stacks you follow doesn’t hold on to C&C after reading it. All the others remain in the scrolling banner after I read them for at least most of the day, and I can quickly and easily go back to one if I need to. But as soon as I open C&C? It disappears permanently from the scroll banner. I always have to tap my profile and select C&C from my follows to get here.
I’m also seeing a swarm of delusional and radically hateful libs trying to influence the comments section of the more powerful conservative stacks, including C&C and Sasha Stone’s “Through the Fourth Turning.” Hers has been inundated lately because her conversion is such a powerful testament and an all out affront to Hollywood elites (along with their political reps that they support.) These haters target “MAGA” as a whole in all the usual ways. While blocking is helpful, I hope to see more of us replying to their comments and shutting them down first, as that is helpful.

I think you mean the inbox icon? I don’t have a four little squares icon. But the inbox icon does show a chronological listing of anyone I follow, but I never use that because it’s endless scrolling just to find one specific Substack since every single post, even a note, is listed there. The ease of the scrolling banner at top of the home page is supposed to highlight your most read out of those you subscribe to, not all of them. Just now C&C has disappeared from that scroll, but Malone News from yesterday is still showing, as are all the other Substacks I read yesterday and this morning. Only C&C completely disappears from the spinning banner. It certainly looks intentional to down-view his Substack.
On my app the far left is a house shape which is home page, the next is an icon of 4 little squares which is my inbox (the icon changed recently), then I think one for videos and one for messages.
Also, check your settings. I only get articles in my inbox, maybe that’s something that can be changed?
I would suggest Proton Mail, shayne, to get away from the "big email" companies (gmail, yahoo mail, comcast, etc.) that read and target your information.

My home page also disappears C&C after it’s read. The same happens with bad cattitude (el gato malo). Also, when I click on “U.S. Politics” on the topic bar at the top of the app, the feed that comes up is ALL left wing writers, zero conservative or even the half-breeds like The Dispatch. My main feed is slowly being infiltrated as well. This all started happening with the influx of progressive subs since the election. There is definitely a concerted effort underway to muzzle conservative voices.
I fail to see the connection being made by the Substack-to-Buttondown author re Nazis. It was the Covid-lockdown warriors who were supporting the building of quarantine camps in some states, not those against what was happening and posting on Substack.

Seems like a very easy "W" on the part of the Congress to codify that the "Enumeration" as directed by Article I, Section 2. to be of citizens as that was clearly the original intent at the writing of the Constitution. I'm glad to see somone bringing up the $21 Trillion of missing money. But why then are we going after pennies in other agencies? Is the pentagon actually going to be audited? Austin FItts also said on a recent money and markets report, citing an analysis I think from Conservative Treehouse stack, that an actual investigation into DOGE revealed they had actually, in reality, saved a whopping $12 billion. That is like me saving a penny.
I think too many here are taking the administrations word and not actually digging into reality. Are the comments about dozens or a hundred or more countries seeking trade deals with us actually authentic? Or is it mere market manipulation? How about the stock giveaway to Trump family recently, just before it skyrocketed? I didn't look at what they referenced so I am not sure how they arrived at that number, but they are fans of Trump and DOGE in general, but I wouldn't be surprised if most of this is just for headlines and narrative control, per usual. Additionally, if we increase the budget we aren't really saving, are we? The increase in "defense" spending alone far exceeds anything saved on USAID.
It actually doesn't. DOGE ratcheted down their savings expectations from 2T to 1T to 250B by 2026. But then increased military spending by 1T. This isn't something I see people get worried about. But as the original poster wrote who you are responding to, it IS something we should all be questioning and demanding continued accountability. I have been very concerned that we are only seeing what they say they are finding. We don't actually have any proof these programs and people are being cut. My husband's office is at this moment only down 3 people officially after 2 rounds of personal choice leaving. I don't know any federal employee personally who has chosen to leave or been told to leave yet. I should know someone. I don't want to know that person as it will mean life upheaval, but I do from an accountability and efficiency standpoint.

R's better not pop the champagne corks on the Act Blue investigation yet - Win Red may be doing some of the same things. In MO we had a gov candidate (who lost) who raised $233K from 13,600 'donors', only 52% of them from MO, and many of the small dollar donors were from other states, saying 'retired' and multiple donations in small dollar amounts. A guy from Bowling Green KY donated $682 in 313 contributions, for example. And his PAC raised over a million in much the same pattern. He had a lot of supporters among my friends and ran as a 'grassroots' anti- establishment candidate - but he was a lot of hot air. Campaign finance overall is basically a cesspool.
It needs to end. Period. Blue, Red, Purple. But I’d bet dollars to donuts the Act Blue scandal is MUCH WORSE than WinRed. When I ran for our State House, ALL my donations came from individuals. I think I received two PAC donations…about $500 each. My opponent? The majority of her fundraising came from the Teachers Union and….wait for it…ACT BLUE.
Well, Act Blue and Win Red are just fundraising platforms. There is nothing wrong with either of them, per se. My friend who ran last year used it as it was the easy button- the platform requires the donor to provide the info the FEC requires - occupation, employer, etc. But also took donations via PayPal but his treasurer had to follow up to get the missing info, which is time consuming. Where it goes off the rails is the ability to mass process donations from questionable sources.
Funny our local elections are supposed to be 'non-partisan' but we've had candidates who used Act Blue to fundraise, which makes it easy to figure out who to NOT vote for.

LOL! I did use winred to multiply Ron Johnson back in the day. And now get texts, emails and robo calls from politicos from all over the country! I usually do multipliers with the old school option - mail a check if Jeff provides that info. But was in a hurry that day and clicked the link.

I was one such donator last fall, giving small amounts to candidates that I liked but were out of my state, and I selected retired because I don’t work and am a few years shy of retirement age. It’s easy to find out if the donations are legitimate just by asking those who donated if they did. With ActBlue most when asked were unaware and said they never donated, and the donations in their names were many, some recurring endlessly.
I doubt WinRed has the same kind of scheme and I bet if you asked their donors like me all would say that yes, they did donate.
Oh I am sure some were legit, we all have friends, relatives, and like minded folks outside of our areas. But when the donations are, for instance $1 FIVE TIMES in one day, THAT is sketchy. Just scanning the download - someone in Byhalia MS donated TEN TIMES in one day, total donation $81. Why would he not just donate one time for $81?

Bought the push mower when we first bought our house and hubby used it for a couple of years, but we get a lot of rain in Spring and early Summer, and you have to mow every couple of days as it doesn't work well in tall grass. Still have it for emergency backups.

I am trying to spread the word on that very thing in my state. Legislature just passed a massive utility bill (140 pages) that will raise our rates but we are told this is ESSENTIAL for adding capacity. Local Biz Journal also just ran a series on the growing number of data centers coming to our area (and getting massive tax breaks) and then saying electric demand is projected to DOUBLE in the next 10 years due to the power gen needs of these data centers + a massive EV battery plant going up.
SO Meta, Google and Microsoft get tax breaks, strain our grid and WE get to foot the bill to build more capacity.

I have a friend who has a Jeep (can't remember which model) and is fairly new and needs to be charged. She told me there is some sort of problem with charging it and Jeep told her not to park it in the garage and for safety to park it outside.
