They already live in hellhole where the mentally-ill and homicidal maniacs run free to terrorize normal people, yet they still vote for more.

They aren't going to learn anything, we've already seen this in Chicago. On one hand you have a huge number of foreign immigrants (40% of NYC!!) with a chip on their shoulder who think it's their turn to loot the piggybank. On the other hand you have cucked browbeaten White people who think they deserve this because somehow they are personally responsible for slavery, Jim Crow, and the Holocaust.

The Blacks and Jews are in the middle but it's pretty easy to see which side they'll pick, there are lifelong patterns here. Despite all the hysteria about Madami being a Muslim who wants sharia law (which isn't true, he's just a typical gay race communist). opinion polls show NY Jews support him! Lol. And we are supposed to fell sorry for them?

It's really not much more complicated than this. Ethic tribes warring to split the spoils is as old as time itself. America didn't used to be like this but that's what happens when you allow in a hundred million unassimilated foreigners. They bring their ways with them. The "magic dirt" of America doesn't turn them into upstanding citizens.

Sometimes you have to just let people destroy themselves in the hopes they will learn a lesson along the way. They usually don't which is why it's so critical that people use their common sense and spot the patterns early. Often all one can do is get away to protect themselves from collateral damage.

What is "common sense"? Asking for a New Yorker...

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Common sense means an ability to evaluate past events, recognize patterns and historical tendencies, use that knowledge to predict the future, and take action based on those predictions to protect oneself and one's loved ones.

Virtually every aspect of modern media and culture is aimed at telling people they aren't allowed to do exactly this. I'm sure there are some people reading my comments above who are already heading for their fainting couches. How dare he draw generalized conclusions about groups! You can't do that!

Not only can we do it, but we must. Particularly as husbands and fathers we have a biblical obligation to protect our families. Looking at life through rose-colored glasses isn't an option.

Well, look at CA. People have such a bad case of TDS they vote for Prop 50. No matter how many times you lay out why this is a bad idea, they bleat, “But Trump!”

Expand full comment
Jeff C's avatar

Yup. I'm in Southern California as I've lived here all my life and am completely spoiled by the weather. But there are many portions of SoCal where you could not pay me to live as they are absolute dumps. Trash everywhere, graffiti, sidewalk vendors selling street food slop, and homeless drug addict bums galore. Insanely permissive attitudes regarding socially-destructive behavior that turned reasonably nice middle class suburbs into third-world dumps.

No thanks, not for me or my family. My wife and kids deserve far better,

But fortunately I saw this coming (using the common sense I discuss above) and made decisions to stay ahead of it. We are in a beautiful affluent coastal community and have been here twenty five years. Virtually no crime, scenic views, clean air, and neighbors who take pride in their community. Everyone mows their lawn and maintains their home. We have no homeless bums, none. No graffiti, and if some does show up it's gone in under 24 hours. No trash along the roads. No industry and very little retail to attract people that don't live here. It is so quiet it reminds me of the "last man on Earth" Twilight Zone episode.

But this City is a great place because the people who live here and serve on the City Council made a conscious decision that we would not turn into LA. Civic engagement is high. The municipal code is strictly enforced on all "quality of life" issues. This keeps home values very high thus it doesn't attract generally irresponsible people (as they can't afford to live here).

Decline really is a choice, its stems from apathy and indifference. And once it gets rolling it is really hard to stop. Which is why people have to use their God-given discernment to predict what is coming and take action to protect themselves.

Thanks Phil. So many people (particularly the over 60 crowd) have been brainwashed into thinking they are not allowed to notice, or even think about, obvious truths. Saying them out loud is unthinkable. This is what happens when people are subjected to decades of propaganda and don't push back. They lose the ability to think for themselves.

My professional background is engineering which is systems-level thinking. When engineers ignore the truth buildings collapse and planes fall from the sky, the consequences are huge and spectacular. So we are trained in problem solving, root cause analysis, risk management, and other proven methods that force us to evaluate observations objectively. I was pleasantly surprised to realize these skills translate directly to life. Dave Ramsey talks about this, engineers are by far the largest group of every day millionaires in the country. And yes we are paid well but that's only part of the reason, it's because we think systemically, not emotionally reacting to every event.

Now couple that with decades of studying the Bible, the most amazing book on how to live one's life ever written. (It's so insightful that's one of the mains reasons I'm convinced it's God's infallible word as Christian doctrine states.) Even if one is not a believer, if they follow Biblical morality they cannot help but be successful, productive, and happy. And I mean what the Bible actually says, not what some megachurch pastor or the media claims it says. That's why it's so important to read the bible ourselves and attend a biblically-sound church. We should be studying it like our lives depend on it as they do.

A main theme throughout the Bible is TRUTH. That's not just about lying to others to manipulate them (which of course is wrong) but not lying to ourselves. Another main theme is KINDNESS which the media and far too many churches have redefined as "being nice". It's a complete perversion of the Bible's message. Kindness means looking out for other people's best interests, not never offending anyone.

People think being a Christian means they are never allowed to state anything that might upset people. It's is such a ridiculous twisting of the Word that it's obvious to me it was an intentional propaganda campaign led by non-Christians (many being pretenders). Because Christians don't know their Bible, they fell for it. Plus there's a heavy dose of cowardice in being afraid to offend people, it avoids confrontation. So Christians walk around thinking they are "good people" when they are really just cowardly virtue signaling in prideful vanity. It's a phony feel-good Gospel manufactured by the media and pop culture.

This isn't about you and me but it absolutely is about our kids and grandkids. They deserve the same America we grew up in but it's being pissed away before our eyes. Hopefully we can save it, but that won't happen with placating lies. But if we cannot save it, they need clear-eyed truth to navigate what lies ahead.

These races were and should have been slam dunks for the Democrats. The fact that there was strong competition in a state like NJ, is good news. I do think it hurt the party a bit that Trump has been so focused on foreign matters, the shutdown has dragged on, complacency is real in the R party at this time, and the legislative branch of our government is definitely the weak link at this point in time. It’s a good wake up call that will hopefully reinspire people to become active again. Rest break is over!

Expand full comment
CMCM's avatar

I hope you're right and that they learn a lesson, but somehow I doubt they will. I live in California and the voters here have created a state that is so blue it will never change. We have 52 representatives in the House, and only 12 are Republican. In a childish response to the Texas gerrymandering issue, Newsom just blew $250-300 million to mount a one-issue election to pass Prop. 50, which will effectively result in us having 4 reps out of 52 before long. And we have no real representation in the state legislature either, and every single one of the top positions from Governor on down are all Democrats. CA is 40% Republican but we have zero representation.

And not enough people examine the the results of a no-opposition government here, and they just keep blindly voting Dem. The other day at an election site (in L.A. area I think) a reporter asked some of the Democrat organizers of Prop 50 about it, and the reporter (of Chinese descent) pointed to a big group of Chinese voters and said "I speak Chinese, and they don't even know what they are voting for." Of course they were rounded up by Dem activists and directed to vote Yes on Prop 50. But that's not all of it, and ultimately, never enough Republicans get out and vote. Partly because many have simply given up.

In New Jersey, more than a dozen bomb threats have been phoned into conservative voting districts. And instead of sweeping the locations, they are moving the polling locations. So people unaware of the move and showing up just prior to poll closing won't be able to cast their votes.

Seems strange that it would save time moving an entire polling location, including all of the voting machines, the registration computers and vote-scanning tabulators and getting them all hooked up and working than it would to sweep the area with bomb-sniffing dogs and the bomb squad.

But I guess the NJ Division of Elections, overseen by Democrat Governor Phil Murphy, Democrat State Attorney General Matt Platkin and Democrat Lt. Governor Tahesha Way had a well-thought-out contingency plan for this surprising rash of bomb threats in Red voting districts.

I’ve thought about that, too, and can see where you’re coming from. But once a person dies, they are beyond salvation. Even, and especially, murderers. If it is not God’s desire that anyone should perish, why should I rejoice? I can be (and am) glad Cheney will never have another opportunity to harm another human being. At the same time, I can recognize that if the way he lived is any proof, he will spend eternity separated from God. I’m not sure that’s something to celebrate. It’s a heavy thing with many facets.

And while Charlie’s death makes me incredibly sad for many reasons, I should be celebrating that he is with God now and for all eternity. But I find it very difficult, especially when I think about his children.

In both cases, I ask myself if my response is focused on eternity. And I struggle with the answer because the answer is, probably not.

Yes— to BOTH. Vaccines cause a world of harm and havoc, all by themselves. Two of the worst are given the minute babies are born, synthetic vitamin K and HepB, even though 99.7% of moms test

negative for HepB, BY their obstetrician, and couldn’t convey HepB to their babies if they tried!

After vaccines, parents give Tylenol which BLOCKS glutathione and the body’s ability to make it, like a plug blocks and outlet. Glutathione is badly needed when toxins and viruses are present.

The combo of vaccines and Tylenol is a disaster.

Bottom line, don’t vax. READ ATTORNEY AARON SIRI’S BOOK, VACCINES, AMEN!

Ibuprofen: Far more dangerous to kidneys than liver.

AI: Ibuprofen is more dangerous to the kidneys than to the liver. While it can cause liver damage, this is rare and typically occurs only in individuals with pre-existing liver conditions or those taking other hepatotoxic medications.

Naproxen is a much safer NSAID than either Ibu or tylenol.

Susan V, thank you for all that information. I already knew about a lot of it. The problem is there are SO many of these natural supplements that are said to help with various things, but figuring out which ones to use is complicated. And many of them are very expensive. I’m already spending a lot of money for collagen powder, CBD, and a bunch of supplements. I’m going to be changing doctors next year to a good one that many of my friends really like, one that does not push anything on the patient that is not wanted.

At 78 with chronic arthritis in my hands and in my fused lower back, I can recommend regular stretching, walking, and very light freeweights as helpful. But you cannot miss a session ... I'd recommend three or four short bouts of exercise daily featuring one each just before bed and at rising.

Margot, you may also have gluten sensitivity. Modern-day gluten is not the same as the healthful gluten of centuries past; much of it is an engineered product, and it tends to aggravate arthritis.

You are not wrong. Opioids have been part of pain management care for me for 39 years. When the "war on opioids" started, the initial response was to cut the size of my Percocet pills from 10mg to 5mg but double the amount of acetaminophen. Today, I have non-alcholic stage 4 liver failure. Coincidence? You decide... I thought this before Trump's announcement.

Fish Whistle's avatar

For me now, yes. I now use the same opioid strength, just stripped of the acetaminophen. It isn't time released, so in my qualified opinion - 39 years prescribed, the pain relief duration is a little bit shorter than it was. But it's a reasonable option for folks that needs "clean" meds.

That's what first led me to suspect the liver damage-- there's likely a necessary component that interferes with our normal detoxification process in order to "enhance" or lengthen the pain-killing effects. In other words, Tylenol wouldn't work because our liver would filter out the pain-relieving compounds, so there's an additional mechanism whereby the natural metabolic response is halted.

Also, my very healthy, no-allergies-whatsoever brother was swarmed by hornets when he was mowing his lawn, and his body was handling the process fine... until he took acetaminophen. Then he had a horrible reaction, and I instantly suspected that whatever work his liver was doing had ground to a screeching halt, and his reaction was to various toxins getting backlogged into his system.

The ENRICHMENT process in our foods is a BIG culprit. My 25 year old daughter has had significant mental health issues all her life .. hallucinations, hearing voices, adhd, bipolar, anxiety, suicidal ideation. She was never symptom free with pharmacology. She is NOW symptom free but it has been 5 years of figuring it out. She has MTHFR mutation and slow COMT. By avoiding all enriched foods, seed oils, and dyes.....and supplementing her folate and b12.....SHE IS NOW SYMPTOM FREE.

Public health has got to go....it is killing us.

Folic Acid is a synthetic supplement that is toxic to those of us with multiple MTHFR mutations (90% of public have at least one). It causes you to be unable to process B vitamins, leading to a multitude of neurological problems. They put folic acid in EVERYTHING—mostly flour, which is in all processed foods. It is also featured in cheap multi vitamins bought at Target, Walmart, etc. Those with mutations need to take L-Methylfolate (5-MTHF), in addition to B vitamins and then avoid “enriched” products and vitamins containing folic acid. Just remember that folate is a completely different substance from folic acid.

Expand full comment
CeCe Brown's avatar

Yes, agree with most. But if you have one or more mutations of MTHFR and also have slow COMT, you should not take methylated as it can cause overmethylation which can cause even more anxiety. My daughter takes folinic acid and hydro b12 (we love Seeking Health brand) which are bioavailable but not methylated.

Look at your vitamins and if they say FOLIC ACID or cyna in the name of anything, throw it out.

If it says ENRICHED anything, dont eat it.

Best route is to get what you need from whole foods. We got her almost stable this way and then paid for more bloodwork and was able to identify her specific deficiencies. Within a couple days of supplementing she stabilized and hasn't had any issues since.

Sadly, our doctors dont know and dont care. I have tried to educate them but they just think I am a nut. I just think they are self righteous know it all assholes.

Big pHARMa has got to get out of our universities and public health.....they are truly poisoning us all.
