I came here to say the same thing! Not a vector! And the people who picked up the squirrel 2 important things- they wore thick gloves according to the couple AND those people are usually already vaccinated for rabies because their job exposes them regularly to rabid animals! Plus, they could have put the animals in quarantine because they had not even been outside in years.

Side note- the person who snitched on the couple was another person on Instagram who lives in Texas!! Apparently, they were angry that the squirrel was getting more likes and views than their posts! Can you just imagine how hateful these people are? Jealous of a squirrel??? Truly pathetic Democrats.

Well, what we going to do? Someone thinks of something!

Oh I did wear a trash pyke to vote in on Friday wearing a trash bag. Oh I was tickled, at myself because no one knew what was going on! The poll workers had no clue why I was wearing a trash bag and since I'm in a wheelchair they were very careful about not seeing anything to a handicapped person! Lol plus my card got messed up when I was voting so I had to sit there for about 10 minutes in my trash bag. Smiling! Oh I enjoyed it so much but it was kind of shocking how nobody knew! There were a lot of people there of all races! And nobody laughed at me! Course. I was smiling but I knew what I was doing! But no one had the guts to say a word or to ask me to remove my plastic bag!

I have a picture but I do not know how to post on coffee and covid. ( I'm a freebie reader!) If somebody would put some instructions on how to, I would love to post it! I also posted it on Facebook with Bible verses telling everybody who Christ calls them! Treasured beloved of God! Cling to his word! These days are dark, but God is our light! ๐Ÿฆ‹๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ™Œ

Look up ( in any state) the Zoonotic and Vector Borne diseases information for Vets and Medical providers for the state of New York. It's government record. You will be shocked. You will see that there are almost NO cases of rabies and certainly not for Squirrels in New York. This is a scam to give animals vaccines. AND, most animal places won't board or allow animals to have operations without getting a rabies shot and it basically doesn't exist in AMERICA. It's just so pharma can give pets shots and vets can make money!!!! PNUT will open up this scam as well and God bless him and the Longos.

Expand full comment

Yes! Vets are also now demanding rabies shots for cats when you get them fixed - even though there have never been rabies cases in the area... Its another pharma scam and its going to lead to fewer people getting stray or outdoor cats that always show up nowadays fixed...

Expand full comment

A vet shamed us into vaccinating our 13 yr old indoor Siamese cat. She went down hill and died within 8 weeks. A common side effect of the rabies vaccine they donโ€™t disclose. They donโ€™t need to, the have the law behind them. Worse. A lot of vets treat cats like bio hazards, and ultimately hate cats. I know, itโ€™s weird, and I didnโ€™t believe until I had direct experience.

Now, I am super careful about picking a vet, and they need to have a wholistic side.

Expand full comment

so sorry to hear about your kitty.... we have three vaccine injured cats, as confirmed by several vets... they only had the initial kitten shots, one went deaf, one autistic, and one has had fibrosarcoma tumors surgically removed and foung to contain aluminum fragments (vaccine adjuvents)... Cats get the fibrosarcomas and dogs tend to get osteosarcoma, general in a leg.

We drive 80 miles to take our cats to a holistically minded anti jab cat clinic.

After learning about pet vaccines last year through another Substack, we stopped vaccinating our dog and two cats. All are 4-5 years old so we are hoping they end up with a longer, healthier life. Itโ€™s impossible to avoid the vaccines the breeders and adoption agencies give when they are young. But now I know to never do any additional once we take them home.

Expand full comment

I totally agree Juju. I did Purevax for my two cats ONCE after a bat exposure that freaked me out. We captured the bat and sent it for testing; no rabies but i realized if my cats had been infected it would be devastating. BUT i also know the titers last for years, perhaps for life, so even though the vet has been reminding us to get rabies booster, i have zero intentions of vaxxing them further.

Expand full comment

Vets have long been required by California law to vaccinate cats and dogs for rabies. It's the reason I don't take my cats to a vet.

The few cases of rabies in California have been found in a very few wild squirrels in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Now I wonder how that was detected.

Expand full comment

I won't vaccinate my pets either, even though it's the law in PA.

Just to walk into a vet practice in many cases, even for strictly indoor cats, or very ill terminal ones. Money maker that's all it is. Oh, full disclosure I'm fully jabbed for Rabies due to bat encounter (bat survived just fine, but hey I had to be vaccinated.)

For a very long time. Parvo vaxx is the only pet vaxx that seems to make a difference.

Expand full comment

Yes, the vaccines are not good for the pets, but even so, vaccines for pets had mercury taken out of them before mercury was taken out of the vaccines for babies.

Expand full comment

So, what are they using in Hg's place? Aluminum? Or Thermerisol? Because they're so much better for babies. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Expand full comment

yes aluminum. Our cat's fibrosarcoma was sent to the path lab for analysis and aluminum adjuvent residual was found.

Expand full comment

I have no idea about veterinary vaccines. With infant vaccines aluminum is being used quite a bit.

I'm a little confused as to whether mercury (which is the primary ingredient in thimerosal) was included as a preservative, adjuvant or both. I had thought it was strictly used as a preservative for a long time, but have heard from a prominent vaccine expert recently that it was included because it was toxic, and therefore increased the immune reaction.

I know with flu vaccines, at least as of 10 years ago, mercury was in the shots that were distributed in bottles that had 10 doses - as a preservative. The shots that came in single doses didn't have them. I don't know what the situation is now.

Expand full comment

Overvaccination is causing problems with pets. There was a veterinarian on a webcast not too long ago (I don't remember if was the highwire or Steve Kirsch) talking about how she does minimal vaccines. Pretty much just the state required rabies vaccine, and she reduces the amount of the vaccine according to the weight of the animal.

My own vet does has not recommended any vaccines for my cats other than rabies, and has not recommended rabies for my older cat (now 19) for 4 years now. I asked about it and the lady at the front desk said they don't like to vaccinate the older pets as often because they see health problems afterwards so often. I didn't even pick this vet for vaccine issues! I stayed with him because he could figure out what was wrong with a prior cat we had.

Expand full comment

We have four cats. Three are vax injured, confirmed by multiple veteranarians.

A family member moved to Texas three years ago and discovered that Texas law requires yearly rabies vax for cats if they need veterinary care.

Yes, rodents would generally die faster than larger animals like foxes if they were infected with rabies, primarily because of their smaller size and weaker immune systems. Since rabies affects the nervous system, it tends to progress more quickly in smaller animals, leading to faster onset of symptoms and death. Additionally, most rodents donโ€™t survive attacks from rabid animals in the first place, so the virus rarely has a chance to incubate in them.

In contrast, larger animals like foxes or raccoons may have longer incubation periods due to their size and potentially more robust immune responses, which can delay the progression of the disease compared to smaller animals like rodents.

I believe raccoons ARE a rabies vector however, and apparently they were taking the raccoon out in public and allowing it to be touched, which may or may not have been the catalyst for the seizure of the animals. This does not excuse the governmentโ€™s ridiculous overreaction to the whole situation and still makes no sense as to why Peanut had to be seized since they were trying to get licensed, but they unfortunately didnโ€™t do themselves any favors by causing a possible public health issue with Fred.
