And then remember when you did come out? Remember? They told you, six feet of social distancing. And guess what? Guess what, you might not know this, but they totally made that number up off the top of their heads! There's no science behind that. But you listened anyways. You listened anyways.
And remember when initially, they were running short on masks, so they told you, and they were actually telling the truth, and so you might want to listen to that, for decades, for decades they have known that masks are ineffective against viral spread. It even says on the box of masks that you bought, they're ineffective against viral spread. But you didn't care. You didn't care, and you got angry if other people didn't wear them, even though you were wearing yours, you didn't care. You didn't care!
And then they told you you could only go one way down the aisle in the grocery store and you totally followed the arrows!
And then they told you, you're gonna, you know the virus can survive on surfaces so when you get home from the grocery store you're going to have to wipe down everything in your grocery bag with Lysol wipes and then you're going to have to wash the bags and disinfect everything before putting it away. And guess what? They were wrong about it too. They were wrong about too! But you listened!
They had you going around with measuring sticks, making sure nobody got within 6 feet of you. Some of you were wearing frigging bags on your heads, hugging people through shower curtains. Oh my God, the lunacy! And you just went along with it based on zero science. But all along you kept saying, we're trusting the science.
Then they rolled out the experimental jibby jabs. Yeah, that was when the science really came into play.
They told you they were experimental. And you didn't even care!
They gave you zero proof of their safety or their efficacy. They just said, they're safe and effective. And you believed them! Without even seeing the science. They didn't release the science, so how could you see it?
And then, and then here was the red flag moment. This is when you should have wised up, is they said, that if you get injured or, you know, disabled, or even if a family member dies, you have no financial recourse against the makers of this experimental shot. That's on you! That was on you! You were OK with that, you took the chance. And you kept calling us selfish for not getting it. That was pretty rich. That was pretty rich.
Remember when all the crafty Karens, got out there, got out their sewing machines and they started whipping up masks, designer masks so you could look extra-special as you virtue signaled. Yeah, that was real, that happened. Some of you are still wearing them.
So, so you went and got your shot because you were following the science. Right?
Which one did you get? Which one? Did you get the one and done? Remember that shot? Just one shot's all you need! And then you're good! You'll be protected! You won't carry it, you won't transmit it. You won't get infected. Remember that? And the people rushed out and they got it, and guess what? Guess what? A couple weeks later they came out with, you know what, we might have been wrong about that one shot, you're going to need two. And you didn't even fu*king care! You didn't care that they were wrong about that. You didn't care because you trust in the science and the science was saying OK well now we're going to need two shots.
So they told you, it's OK. It's OK. We just need you to go out and get your second shot and then you'll be fully vaccinated and you can have your passport. You know, that passport that you called us a conspiracy theory or conspiracy theorist for suggesting earlier? Yeah, that passport. And so if you went out and you got your second shot, you'd get your passport. Guess what, so the people did. And they told you it didn't matter what shot you got with zero, zero research into the mixing of two different shots. But you trusted them anyways and you got that second shot.
Then you found out, guess what, you are not qualified to get your coveted V-pass, you're going to have start over. And you didn't even care! You didn't even care! People didn't care. Or maybe they cared a little bit but the other people, the ones that went for the two shots, the two shots that they told you, once you get these two shots, the virus stops with you. You will not catch it, you will not transmit it, and it's safe and effective. Remember that? So y'all went and you got your two shots and you picked up your vaccine passport so you could go onto places where the unvaxxed weren't allowed.
You never even questioned the fact that, why would there be a need to stay away from somebody that's unvaxxed if you're protected? You never even questioned that. Never even crossed your mind.
So then all these people that are fully vaxxed start hanging out in all these venues where the unvaxxed aren't allowed to go. And guess what happens! Break through cases! Break through cases! And then y'all thought that was an anomaly, y'all thought that that was just an anomaly, and then they told you, the science said to you, you know what, that's on you guys, because you didn't allow your immunity to kick in. So—
Oh, back up, back up, I forgot one, I forgot one. Because they told you, the science told you, if you got your two shots, you would no longer need to wear a mask, you wouldn't need to social distance, you could go visit other vaccinated people, and guess what? Didn't happen! It didn't happen! You still had to wear your fu*king mask! You still, you weren't even mad that they lied about that, or that they were wrong about that. You didn't even care!
So then you had your two shots and outbreaks are happening all over the place amongst the people that were told that they couldn't catch or spread it, so then they flipped the narrative, they're like, well, you know what, we might have been wrong about that. You can catch it, you can spread it, but! But! Your symptoms will be less severe than if you hadn't gotten the shot. And without any science to even back that up, you believed them.
And actually a lot of you, actually, the fact that you'd been told that you'd been immunized, that part totally erased from your memory bank and you just went with the new narrative. Well, we were never told, we were never told we'd be protected, we were just told that it would reduce our symptoms.
So explain me, doing it to protect others mantra then, OK? And explain why you were so upset that other people weren't getting it if the only person that benefitted was you? How was I being selfish for not getting it if you getting it only benefitted you? How? You don't even question it! You don't even question it.
So then, so then you were good, you had your two shots, you were fully v'ed, you can go out with your vaccine passport, knowing that you're safe until, until, guess what? You're going to need boosters! You're going to need boosters!

I was traveling abroad in February and March 2020 and came through LAX both times. When I returned in March there was ads for an app you could download to not have to wait in line and get sick. I was shocked how an app could be approved for entry to the country in such a short time and immediately went on alert. A few weeks later California decided my business was closed and a local documentary artist in my small town went around photographing people in their lockdown stage for preservation of the times. I still feel proud that I chose to be photographed reading 1984 in my mask. My husband read the book for the first time that month. Hope the kids study it one day ;)

Yes, I know a bit about shingles, I had them once. Thank goodness not on my head. But even having had them and knowing how miserable they were, I will not be taking the vax and putting myself at risk for a serious side effect.
I was fairly young (38) and encountered a very stressful situation when I had them. I’ve learned a lot since then. I’ve learned something about handling stressful situations, which is mainly to turn myself and the situation over to God, and I’ve also learned that there are many natural remedies that are effective and far superior to allopathic medications.
Interestingly, there was a mini pandemic of GB cases in central Florida in the mid 80s. Retired RN here. Our unit and other critical care units had 1-2 patients in various stages of paralysis, on vents or bed bound for several years. I was there. I now know, after investigating my own outbreak of shingles, it was a direct cause of the chickenpox vax for kids. Adults were not caring for kids and refreshing their own immune systems. So---we make ANOTHER vax! That resident has probably never seen a GB patient.
We cured my husbands classic case of shingles with colloidal silver topically and a little orally and with L-ysine an antiviral supplement OTC. Initially for a day he was very uncomfortable, but we had the silver already, so in less than 3 days it was a minor thing, in a week it was totally gone except for the red marks. Highly recommend it. Because we had the silver, in case, a perk was my husband telling the nurse he didn't need the shingles vax because it was treatable.

I recall an event hosted by Senator Ron Johnson, on covid (a fabulous discussion, btw) where a woman pulled out a copy of the information/indications, etc., For the Pfizer vax - she unfolded the tiny square until it was the size of a card table tablecloth.....and it was BLANK on both sides.
Before I woke the heck up - I sadly had my kids do their immunization schedule - stopped everything when they were in their early teens and I had an awakening THANK GOD! We lived in Germany for a year and the Dr. asked what was this chicken pox vaccine as he looked at my sons report? I said yes it was new to the schedule (I now cringe can't believing what I did to my kids!!!) and the Dr. said in Germany I don't understand why they would do this as you need the natural immunity from having the pox. But he said in America maybe it caused parents to miss too much time off of work so they made a vax for it. But you're right all my cousins that got those chicken pox jabs and got severe stressors in life - they came down with shingles. I have never heard of young adults getting shingles before.

you are exactly right. Listened to a cardiologist on Rush years ago who said he had done thousands of heart surgeries, and every single patient had inflammation. Want to screw with your doctor? Ask him why there is never ay plaque in veins, just arteries. Cholesterol is vital. I believe half of your brain is cholesterol. It forms scar tissue in arteries to prevent weakened spots from rupturing, or if holes have developed already. Cholesterol is yet another one of the Rockefeller's massive hoaxes they have perpetrated upon us.
They pulled it off the same way they have with everything else, by discussing relative risk , not absolute risk. The absolute risk of having a heart attack from high cholesterol is ~2 %. With statins, it's 1 %. 50 % reduction, using relative risk. 1 % absolute risk reduction. Easy Peezy, no?
My parents doctor has my dad on statins and his cholesterol is low! I saw his blood work recently and there was a note at the bottom that said ‘people with diabetes need to keep their cholesterol low’. Crazy! And his diabetes is really low, (he does not take insulin) and I bet the doc says, ‘see it’s working’.
Doc also saw that mom is taking 3 Prozac! He got her down to two, and isn’t encouraging her to wean herself further.

Metformin for diabetes 2 has black box warning and they prescribe it like candy. I’m a retired nurse and I never heard a single word of patient teaching from doctors who prescribe it. My husband’s NP sent him home with a prescription and we threw it in the trash. He enjoys a couple beers at night and mixing with metformin can cause a deadly reaction. Did she mention that or explain what black box warning means? How about those papers the drug store sends with filled prescriptions- not a word. It took looking it up myself. I hate mainstream medicine. I’m so thankful that God used the Covid crime to open my eyes. And I’m thankful that a low carb diet with plenty of protein and a supplement called Berberine helps my husband control, hopefully reverse, his diabetes.
I don’t have diabetes but I had an appointment with a nutritionist (Nutritional Weight and Wellness in the Minneapolis area website: weight and wellness.com) They tell you to eat protein; healthy fats (olive/avocado/coconut oils or butter; and get your carbs from vegetables. Avoid processed food. I feel better when I eat this way. They offer consults via phone but there is a lot of free info on their site.
My husband was given a prescription for his eczema and asked if it was a steroid. He was told no. We don't have anything to do with steroids unless it's lifesaving. He took it to the pharmacist who then asked him if he really wanted to take the med. He told my husband it was a steroid with serious side effects. Big NO on that one. I ALWAYS look up side effects on the rare meds I'm prescribed. I will have to be at deaths door to listen to or trust any doctor. I've been like this for years.
My MIL had that over 35 years ago, became totally paralyzed, airlifted to Mayo and was there for 3 months. Docs were baffled...I now believe it was from a flu shot. She was in her 60’s at the time and always listened to her doc. She recovered but struggled with ongoing pain the rest of her life. GBS was unheard of back then, I remember the only example the docs knew was some author...sooo now you ask why the uptick in cases? 🙄

I just had PRP thing done for my knees and the Dr I saw in MN told me that the VA centers are actually ahead of the ball on this - as regenerative therapy is not covered by an traditional insurance - but VA clinics are covering at least the PRP - he said that is very promising to get more natural therapeutics out there.....if you have any joint issues - ask for PRP - draws your own blood - spins it and then reinjects into your joints and gets your body to heal and regrow regenerate what is missing or worn out. Just keep it in mind:) That you can get that covered is awesome!!!
I agree - it is sad - my uncle goes to the VA center near Tampa and he loves that place. I'm so thankful for you all that served that they are doing more things for you all! You deserve the best treatment. My dumbass regular MD I have in case I need an xray etc. was getting a physical signed off on for my daughter for high school and he said did you get the vax and I try to be polite - but I'm like no. He knows we love to travel abroad and said you can't travel you know then? He said my wife and I both got it so we can travel (all I think is dumbass!) and I said I'm fine never traveling again. I just don't understand people - you get a shot of whatever is in it so you can travel???? UGH! Meanwhile my biodentist was noting what shots people were taking and when and how soon after he was getting those patients coming in with dental issues - like the immune system used to be able to support a root canal (which is so bad anyways) but the jab caused their immune system to fail and then dental issues were all coming to a head. He had 2 boxes to choose from on whether you got the jab "Yes or No" and I added a box "NEVER" and he chuckled and said he was shocked at how many were getting it and especially for these patients that see a bio dentist.
I’ve had shingles twice about 20 years apart. No Covid vax. The last bout was during this summer. It was much worse than previous bout. I’d choose shingles any day over GBS. Did they doctor know how stupid she sounded? I’m guessing she has no idea.

Before the pandemic I filed a VAERS report for a drug reaction my husband had. It wasn’t complicated and I filled it out in a few minutes. What happened to make it so complicated? Or maybe the medical field has to fill out a more detailed form?
I can’t attest to what the process was like before, but if you watch Deborah’s interview, she talks about how the online form would frequently time out, losing all of the data entered thus far and forcing them to start over. Most medical staff (nurses especially) are completely overwhelmed and do not have time to spend an uninterrupted half an hour submitting each report.
Deborah took it upon herself to complete VAERS reports on her own time, and other staff members started coming to her and asking her to submit theirs. This above-and-beyond commitment to transparent data reporting on behalf of the patients earned her a reprimand from the hospital administration, and she was eventually terminated for choosing not to get injected.
Yes, our daughter as a Pediatric NP said the same. Plus the government totally altered the VAERS site, making it MUCH more difficult to follow a case or even FIND it. All of this is purposely planned to be an obstacle to those medical providers trying to do the right thing. I honestly don't think anyone besides Trump has a snowballs chance of destroying these corrupt ABC agencies because everyone else is on the take!
Usually in tech when there are timeouts it is because it is in use more than it ever has been and the system doesn't have the resources to handle the load.
I was at an event I think 2021 and Dr. Peter McCullough was speaking along with Dr. Jensen in MN - we since moved - but basically there were nurses and Dr.s standing up and asking questions about "What do they do?" They knew they needed to enter the data in VAERS - but it was taking 30 minutes to do and the Drs. would tell them to not bother. They also read emails from the Hospital groups telling them explicitly that they could not use Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine in treating patients - it had to be remdesevir and the masking of oxygen or whatever. They were in tears - they were like either I do this or I lose my job. This time around - I hope that people are wiser and walk out as a group from places of employment. If we all did this at the get go - I think it would have been a different turn of events than what happened.

I agree 100% and can only hope that people who previously caved now have the knowledge and courage to refuse participation in lethal and injurious protocols, even when it means risking their jobs (although, like you said, if they band together, they will have more bargaining power).
It is neither complicated or difficult merely time consuming. As a medical professional who *has* filled out several VAERS reports it is no more difficult than any other daily computer task. But I did fill the forms out (each and every one) on my OWN time -- outside of my duties “on the clock” because you can’t pay attention to two such things at once. Therein lies the difficulty. If I had to do more than the few I did, it would have been frustrating and borderline impossible. (But I would have done it).

I just read on their website that healthcare providers are REQUIRED BY LAW ( in bold and underlined) to report to VAERS. So does it mean they violate the law if they don’t report? Or they can just say unrelated, correlation doesn’t mean causation?

Yes, that is absolutely right—they are required by law to file VAERS reports for anyone who has an adverse reaction after the shots (they aren’t supposed to make a determination of causation but merely to report if if happens), but almost no one does, and administration actively discourages staff from doing so.
And yes, there is a vetting process in place that involves following up with the reporter (and possibly patients—I can’t recall) to verify the reports submitted, so the chances of there being fraudulent reports filed are minuscule, especially since the CDC is looking for every opportunity to disqualify submissions.

All I have to do is wander in the masses (especially when I lived in Woketopia, ie Santa Fe) and listen as they mindlessly recite the meme du jour, verbatim, one after another. It's actually pretty amusing. More amusing than anything on TV! And I use my time productively, sometimes just swinging in my hammock, watching the clouds, thinking about my next book, grateful for the peace.

I LOVE Santa Fe. The arts, the food, the events. But it is sadly unlivable. And during covid it was just hideous. I was screamed at and even physically accosted over masks. What's funny are the number of people who don't think or plan ahead. Watching college students in Gainesville buy plastic bottles of water while complaining about climate change was amusing. Talked to one girl in the checkout line a few years ago. I asked her why she didn't just fill containers at home. She said she didn't have enough. Asked her why she didn't use pots or other containers. She told me she doesn't have any. Guess she doesn't cook. Eating out all the time generates more waste than cooking at home, but the older generations are the problem. 🙄 Ironic.
I grew up in Houston. Every time a hurricane threatened, my mom filled up the bathtub. We would use that water to flush the toilets and could boil it if needed. We didn’t have bottled water back then.
There is a southern gent on instagram, Landontalks, who asked the hurricane veterans of the south to offer words/advice to So Cal as Hilary approached. It was quite informative. He usually does more humorous topics related to southern culture, expressions, etc. He is a treasure!

got to get a water filter like alexpure. I filter my tap water. I am considering getting a steam distillation unit too. And drilling a well deep to bedrock (200 ft) there is very pure fresh water down there. Gotta well and a solar pump/panel set up and you don't NEED city water ;) If it should come to it. You very quietly get that pump primed and running to your garden hose, filter that water and quietly quietly live happy. No AC? Use a swamp cooler (water and a fan), shade and a solar powered battery fan. There's ways to live here without AC. Frozen food would be problematic tho. Have to fall back to canned and jarred foods. So preppers remember that. Dehydrated has it place but if no water and power out...
Maybe a lot of transplantees who haven’t weathered the storms before. Pre hurricane is when checklists should go out so untested people have something to do, feel like they have some control and not in panic they might lose everything.

We live on the East coast at Daytona Beach and my husband a retired FPL Lineman-19 years, Supervisor-28 years. We have worked a lot of Hurricanes and this one is no different for the media, just darken the colors on screen and put a plate of spaghetti beside it. Then send some newbie reporter with a mike and hooded rain coat to the beach where there’s always a ‘breeze’ and hopefully a few raindrops.

The shelves were emptied of water in Panama City yesterday. We aren't even in the cone of uncertainty. Yes, Hurricane Michael's legacy has people on edge here but this shouldn't be.
However, I thought it was interesting on Saturday and Sunday that, although they were preparing a track there wasn't any chatter about strength. It wasn't until yesterday that strength was mentioned. So, I don't really see fear porn here much in this case. I think it is more of giving cover to things they don't want to report about.
The Big Bend area is so low, the area will flood with just a small hurricane going in, people do need to evacuate those low lying areas.
Went to a Publix here in Pasco county this morning. Stark contrast to Jeff's picture of a Gainesville Publix. Most of the shelves here are still stocked and we're the ones in the possible path.
They will use the hurricanes to wipe Lahaina from memory... just when so many of the locals finally got internet access and they are putting a ton of horrific video accounts online and TELLING THEIR STORIES about how the cops blocked and redirected them down to Front Street where they were all gridlocked into place with the fire coming down on them. 183 bodies washed up on Lanai! The chief of police is “fixing” the scene, just as he did in Las Vegas!
Seems certain that instilling fear and panic is part of the reason for those coverages, but also is the simple fact that hype sells their product and they are in business so they need the hype whatever story they got.
Perhaps there are some people that finally do pick up on the idea that they should be prepared always all the time and not just for a hurricane? I think slowly there is a growing population of people who get it and want to be more self-sufficient.

Somehow, it almost seems by accident, though I know it wasn't, I managed to avoid many of the pitfalls my peers blindly fell into:
• rather than feeding their newborns with mother's milk they were intended to thrive upon, they fed chemical and mechanically produced substitutes.
• rather than raising their children, they consigned them to strangers in daycares.
• rather than primarily focusing on providing a home for husband and children, they entered the workplace where most of their income went to pay for childcare and help in the home.
• rather than buy and cook foods from whole and fresh ingredients, they relied upon mass marketed pre-made chemically laden substitutes.
• rather than take part in supplementing or augmenting their progeny's education, they left it to government indoctrination centers.
• rather than staying married and providing a home with both a mother and father for their children, they chose divorce, subjecting their children to insecurity, men or women who had no familial ties to them, and the purposeful separation from their birth father (usually) or birth mother (occasionally).
• rather than living within their means, they built a life of material gains underwritten by debt, preferring acquisitions they couldn't afford, rather than sacrificing wants in order to provide debt-free for their needs.
• rather than bolstering by example their children's foundation of morals and ethics, they avoided religious teaching and spiritual development.
Poor parenting, abysmal schooling, and cultural decay have in part produced this toxicity.
I may get pilloried for this, but this is the most poignant and well-delivered summary of my parents' (Boomers) generation's failures, to a TEE. (Of course, the last point was a bit off as my parents worship at the church of religiosity and so we heard a lot of moral platitudes (just didn't see living examples).
As a parent myself, I marvel at how well adjusted my kids are. Of course, my spouse and I married young, stayed married, delayed having children until we could reasonably afford them, had FOUR (siblings and large families being awesome), stayed out of debt, saved for their education, homeschool when we're able, and focus on career decisions that allowed us to work for ourselves (and thus control our schedules to prioritize family time and vacations with the kids).
I felt my comment would also be pilloried, but most C&C readers are a cut above, if I may say so, than those I described negatively. My heart swells with appreciation when I hear of parents like you, my son and daughter-in-law included, who take parenting seriously.
This is also the generation that we saw “womens lib” hit and sexual revolution. Many wonderful boomers but many who failed.
I have also seen the terrible terrible action of “giving your child a better life than you had.” Typically The cost of this is children who are spoiled brats thinking all is given or owed ato them nd nothing (or not much) needs to be worked for. Unless you teach counter and make them work for things.
This was not what my parents did but I have seen each generation thereafter produce worse children who can’t handle rejection. Hello, trophy generation!
You mention two biggies, for sure. I have a close friend who was given up to a Christian children's home by his father, after the mother abandoned them, who has practiced pathological altruism on his children, all of whom have amounted to little. He cannot accept that the main reason he turned out to be a successful businessman and good citizen is because his dad, more out of selfishness than love, may have given him the best life potential than if he had kept his children, subjecting them to abuse fueled by alcohol. Teach your children well, or suffer the consequences.
Just wanted to add that outside the crazies in CA there are some bright spots. On my local med freedom group a mom is trying to lobby to get several freedom moms or parents to run for School Boards where there are seats open!!!!!

And remember when initially, they were running short on masks, so they told you, and they were actually telling the truth, and so you might want to listen to that, for decades, for decades they have known that masks are ineffective against viral spread. It even says on the box of masks that you bought, they're ineffective against viral spread. But you didn't care. You didn't care, and you got angry if other people didn't wear them, even though you were wearing yours, you didn't care. You didn't care!
And then they told you you could only go one way down the aisle in the grocery store and you totally followed the arrows!
And then they told you, you're gonna, you know the virus can survive on surfaces so when you get home from the grocery store you're going to have to wipe down everything in your grocery bag with Lysol wipes and then you're going to have to wash the bags and disinfect everything before putting it away. And guess what? They were wrong about it too. They were wrong about too! But you listened!
They had you going around with measuring sticks, making sure nobody got within 6 feet of you. Some of you were wearing frigging bags on your heads, hugging people through shower curtains. Oh my God, the lunacy! And you just went along with it based on zero science. But all along you kept saying, we're trusting the science.
Then they rolled out the experimental jibby jabs. Yeah, that was when the science really came into play.
They told you they were experimental. And you didn't even care!
They gave you zero proof of their safety or their efficacy. They just said, they're safe and effective. And you believed them! Without even seeing the science. They didn't release the science, so how could you see it?
And then, and then here was the red flag moment. This is when you should have wised up, is they said, that if you get injured or, you know, disabled, or even if a family member dies, you have no financial recourse against the makers of this experimental shot. That's on you! That was on you! You were OK with that, you took the chance. And you kept calling us selfish for not getting it. That was pretty rich. That was pretty rich.
Remember when all the crafty Karens, got out there, got out their sewing machines and they started whipping up masks, designer masks so you could look extra-special as you virtue signaled. Yeah, that was real, that happened. Some of you are still wearing them.
So, so you went and got your shot because you were following the science. Right?
Which one did you get? Which one? Did you get the one and done? Remember that shot? Just one shot's all you need! And then you're good! You'll be protected! You won't carry it, you won't transmit it. You won't get infected. Remember that? And the people rushed out and they got it, and guess what? Guess what? A couple weeks later they came out with, you know what, we might have been wrong about that one shot, you're going to need two. And you didn't even fu*king care! You didn't care that they were wrong about that. You didn't care because you trust in the science and the science was saying OK well now we're going to need two shots.
So they told you, it's OK. It's OK. We just need you to go out and get your second shot and then you'll be fully vaccinated and you can have your passport. You know, that passport that you called us a conspiracy theory or conspiracy theorist for suggesting earlier? Yeah, that passport. And so if you went out and you got your second shot, you'd get your passport. Guess what, so the people did. And they told you it didn't matter what shot you got with zero, zero research into the mixing of two different shots. But you trusted them anyways and you got that second shot.
Then you found out, guess what, you are not qualified to get your coveted V-pass, you're going to have start over. And you didn't even care! You didn't even care! People didn't care. Or maybe they cared a little bit but the other people, the ones that went for the two shots, the two shots that they told you, once you get these two shots, the virus stops with you. You will not catch it, you will not transmit it, and it's safe and effective. Remember that? So y'all went and you got your two shots and you picked up your vaccine passport so you could go onto places where the unvaxxed weren't allowed.
You never even questioned the fact that, why would there be a need to stay away from somebody that's unvaxxed if you're protected? You never even questioned that. Never even crossed your mind.
So then all these people that are fully vaxxed start hanging out in all these venues where the unvaxxed aren't allowed to go. And guess what happens! Break through cases! Break through cases! And then y'all thought that was an anomaly, y'all thought that that was just an anomaly, and then they told you, the science said to you, you know what, that's on you guys, because you didn't allow your immunity to kick in. Because they told you, the science told you, if you got your two shots, you would no longer need to wear a mask, you wouldn't need to social distance, you could go visit other vaccinated people, and guess what? Didn't happen! It didn't happen! You still had to wear your fu*king mask! You still, you weren't even mad that they lied about that, or that they were wrong about that. You didn't even care!
So then you had your two shots and outbreaks are happening all over the place amongst the people that were told that they couldn't catch or spread it, so then they flipped the narrative, they're like, well, you know what, we might have been wrong about that. You can catch it, you can spread it, but! But! Your symptoms will be less severe than if you hadn't gotten the shot. And without any science to even back that up, you believed them.
And actually a lot of you, actually, the fact that you'd been told that you'd been immunized, that part totally erased from your memory bank and you just went with the new narrative. Well, we were never told, we were never told we'd be protected, we were just told that it would reduce our symptoms.
So explain me, doing it to protect others mantra then, OK? And explain why you were so upset that other people weren't getting it if the only person that benefitted was you? How was I being selfish for not getting it if you getting it only benefitted you? How? You don't even question it! You don't even question it.

I was traveling abroad in February and March 2020 and came through LAX both times. When I returned in March there was ads for an app you could download to not have to wait in line and get sick. I was shocked how an app could be approved for entry to the country in such a short time and immediately went on alert. A few weeks later California decided my business was closed and a local documentary artist in my small town went around photographing people in their lockdown stage for preservation of the times. I still feel proud that I chose to be photographed reading 1984 in my mask. My husband read the book for the first time that month. Hope the kids study it one day ;)

Shingles can be dangerous but only when it’s near your eyes. Otherwise it’s just a painful rash that you will survive.
Yes, I know a bit about shingles, I had them once. Thank goodness not on my head. But even having had them and knowing how miserable they were, I will not be taking the vax and putting myself at risk for a serious side effect.
I was fairly young (38) and encountered a very stressful situation when I had them. I’ve learned a lot since then. I’ve learned something about handling stressful situations, which is mainly to turn myself and the situation over to God, and I’ve also learned that there are many natural remedies that are effective and far superior to allopathic medications.
Interestingly, there was a mini pandemic of GB cases in central Florida in the mid 80s. Retired RN here. Our unit and other critical care units had 1-2 patients in various stages of paralysis, on vents or bed bound for several years. I was there. I now know, after investigating my own outbreak of shingles, it was a direct cause of the chickenpox vax for kids. Adults were not caring for kids and refreshing their own immune systems. So---we make ANOTHER vax! That resident has probably never seen a GB patient.

We cured my husbands classic case of shingles with colloidal silver topically and a little orally and with L-ysine an antiviral supplement OTC. Initially for a day he was very uncomfortable, but we had the silver already, so in less than 3 days it was a minor thing, in a week it was totally gone except for the red marks. Highly recommend it. Because we had the silver, in case, a perk was my husband telling the nurse he didn't need the shingles vax because it was treatable.

Before I woke the heck up - I sadly had my kids do their immunization schedule - stopped everything when they were in their early teens and I had an awakening THANK GOD! We lived in Germany for a year and the Dr. asked what was this chicken pox vaccine as he looked at my sons report? I said yes it was new to the schedule (I now cringe can't believing what I did to my kids!!!) and the Dr. said in Germany I don't understand why they would do this as you need the natural immunity from having the pox. But he said in America maybe it caused parents to miss too much time off of work so they made a vax for it. But you're right all my cousins that got those chicken pox jabs and got severe stressors in life - they came down with shingles. I have never heard of young adults getting shingles before.

Ask him why there is never ay plaque in veins, just arteries. Cholesterol is vital. I believe half of your brain is cholesterol. It forms scar tissue in arteries to prevent weakened spots from rupturing, or if holes have developed already. Cholesterol is yet another one of the Rockefeller's massive hoaxes they have perpetrated upon us.
They pulled it off the same way they have with everything else, by discussing relative risk , not absolute risk. The absolute risk of having a heart attack from high cholesterol is ~2 %. With statins, it's 1 %. 50 % reduction, using relative risk. 1 % absolute risk reduction. Easy Peezy, no?

My parents doctor has my dad on statins and his cholesterol is low! I saw his blood work recently and there was a note at the bottom that said ‘people with diabetes need to keep their cholesterol low’. Crazy! And his diabetes is really low, (he does not take insulin) and I bet the doc says, ‘see it’s working’.
Doc also saw that mom is taking 3 Prozac! He got her down to two, and isn’t encouraging her to wean herself further.

Metformin for diabetes 2 has black box warning and they prescribe it like candy. I’m a retired nurse and I never heard a single word of patient teaching from doctors who prescribe it. My husband’s NP sent him home with a prescription and we threw it in the trash. He enjoys a couple beers at night and mixing with metformin can cause a deadly reaction. Did she mention that or explain what black box warning means? How about those papers the drug store sends with filled prescriptions- not a word. It took looking it up myself. I hate mainstream medicine. I’m so thankful that God used the Covid crime to open my eyes. And I’m thankful that a low carb diet with plenty of protein and a supplement called Berberine helps my husband control, hopefully reverse, his diabetes.
I don’t have diabetes but I had an appointment with a nutritionist (Nutritional Weight and Wellness in the Minneapolis area website: weight and wellness.com) They tell you to eat protein; healthy fats (olive/avocado/coconut oils or butter; and get your carbs from vegetables. Avoid processed food. I feel better when I eat this way. They offer consults via phone but there is a lot of free info on their site.
I listen to their Saturday morning radio show. I like them but they still put too much emphasis on the "dangers" of high cholesterol.
My husband was given a prescription for his eczema and asked if it was a steroid. He was told no. We don't have anything to do with steroids unless it's lifesaving. He took it to the pharmacist who then asked him if he really wanted to take the med. He told my husband it was a steroid with serious side effects. Big NO on that one. I ALWAYS look up side effects on the rare meds I'm prescribed. I will have to be at deaths door to listen to or trust any doctor. I've been like this for years.
Berberine is great! It was recommended to me by my chiropractor. I refuse to take any of the BigPharma crap docs are pushing.

My MIL had that over 35 years ago, became totally paralyzed, airlifted to Mayo and was there for 3 months. Docs were baffled...I now believe it was from a flu shot. She was in her 60’s at the time and always listened to her doc. She recovered but struggled with ongoing pain the rest of her life. GBS was unheard of back then, I remember the only example the docs knew was some author...sooo now you ask why the uptick in cases? 🙄

I just had PRP thing done for my knees and the Dr I saw in MN told me that the VA centers are actually ahead of the ball on this - as regenerative therapy is not covered by an traditional insurance - but VA clinics are covering at least the PRP - he said that is very promising to get more natural therapeutics out there.....if you have any joint issues - ask for PRP - draws your own blood - spins it and then reinjects into your joints and gets your body to heal and regrow regenerate what is missing or worn out. Actually, the VA has done some very good things in regard to medical care - traumatic brain injury and prosthetics.

I agree - it is sad - my uncle goes to the VA center near Tampa and he loves that place. I'm so thankful for you all that served that they are doing more things for you all! My dumbass regular MD I have in case I need an xray etc. was getting a physical signed off on for my daughter for high school and he said did you get the vax and I try to be polite - but I'm like no. He knows we love to travel abroad and said you can't travel you know then? He said my wife and I both got it so we can travel (all I think is dumbass!) and I said I'm fine never traveling again. I just don't understand people - you get a shot of whatever is in it so you can travel???? UGH! Meanwhile my biodentist was noting what shots people were taking and when and how soon after he was getting those patients coming in with dental issues - like the immune system used to be able to support a root canal (which is so bad anyways) but the jab caused their immune system to fail and then dental issues were all coming to a head. He had 2 boxes to choose from on whether you got the jab "Yes or No" and I added a box "NEVER" and he chuckled and said he was shocked at how many were getting it and especially for these patients that see a bio dentist.

I’ve had shingles twice about 20 years apart. No Covid vax. The last bout was during this summer. It was much worse than previous bout. I’d choose shingles any day over GBS. Did they doctor know how stupid she sounded? I’m guessing she has no idea.

Before the pandemic I filed a VAERS report for a drug reaction my husband had. It wasn’t complicated and I filled it out in a few minutes. What happened to make it so complicated? Or maybe the medical field has to fill out a more detailed form?
I can’t attest to what the process was like before, but if you watch Deborah’s interview, she talks about how the online form would frequently time out, losing all of the data entered thus far and forcing them to start over. Most medical staff (nurses especially) are completely overwhelmed and do not have time to spend an uninterrupted half an hour submitting each report.
Deborah took it upon herself to complete VAERS reports on her own time, and other staff members started coming to her and asking her to submit theirs. This above-and-beyond commitment to transparent data reporting on behalf of the patients earned her a reprimand from the hospital administration, and she was eventually terminated for choosing not to get injected.
Yes, our daughter as a Pediatric NP said the same. Plus the government totally altered the VAERS site, making it MUCH more difficult to follow a case or even FIND it. All of this is purposely planned to be an obstacle to those medical providers trying to do the right thing. I honestly don't think anyone besides Trump has a snowballs chance of destroying these corrupt ABC agencies because everyone else is on the take!

I was at an event I think 2021 and Dr. Peter McCullough was speaking along with Dr. Jensen in MN - we since moved - but basically there were nurses and Dr.s standing up and asking questions about "What do they do?" They knew they needed to enter the data in VAERS - but it was taking 30 minutes to do and the Drs. would tell them to not bother. They also read emails from the Hospital groups telling them explicitly that they could not use Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine in treating patients - it had to be remdesevir and the masking of oxygen or whatever. They were in tears - they were like either I do this or I lose my job. This time around - I hope that people are wiser and walk out as a group from places of employment. If we all did this at the get go - I think it would have been a different turn of events than what happened.

I agree 100% and can only hope that people who previously caved now have the knowledge and courage to refuse participation in lethal and injurious protocols, even when it means risking their jobs (although, like you said, if they band together, they will have more bargaining power).

It is neither complicated or difficult merely time consuming. As a medical professional who *has* filled out several VAERS reports it is no more difficult than any other daily computer task. But I did fill the forms out (each and every one) on my OWN time -- outside of my duties “on the clock” because you can’t pay attention to two such things at once. Therein lies the difficulty. If I had to do more than the few I did, it would have been frustrating and borderline impossible. (But I would have done it).

I just read on their website that healthcare providers are REQUIRED BY LAW ( in bold and underlined) to report to VAERS. So does it mean they violate the law if they don’t report? Or they can just say unrelated, correlation doesn’t mean causation?
Also from VAERS website in bold, “Knowingly filing a false VAERS report is a violation of Federal law (18 U.S. Code § 1001) punishable by fine and imprisonment.” and people have the audacity to say the reports are frivolous
Yes, that is absolutely right—they are required by law to file VAERS reports for anyone who has an adverse reaction after the shots (they aren’t supposed to make a determination of causation but merely to report if if happens), but almost no one does, and administration actively discourages staff from doing so.
And yes, there is a vetting process in place that involves following up with the reporter (and possibly patients—I can’t recall) to verify the reports submitted, so the chances of there being fraudulent reports filed are minuscule, especially since the CDC is looking for every opportunity to disqualify submissions.

Not watching the news is too much fun!I Got rid of tv a decade ago. But I'm never uninformed. All I have to do is wander in the masses (especially when I lived in Woketopia, ie Santa Fe) and listen as they mindlessly recite the meme du jour, verbatim, one after another. It's actually pretty amusing. More amusing than anything on TV! And I use my time productively, sometimes just swinging in my hammock, watching the clouds, thinking about my next book, grateful for the peace.
It’s really a shame. Santa Fe is so beautiful and about five years ago when we went on vacay there i thought maybe we’d consider it as a retirement destination. Now you can forget about it. I wouldn’t move anywhere deep blue and woke if someone paid me.

What's funny are the number of people who don't think or plan ahead. Watching college students in Gainesville buy plastic bottles of water while complaining about climate change was amusing. Talked to one girl in the checkout line a few years ago. I asked her why she didn't just fill containers at home. She said she didn't have enough. Asked her why she didn't use pots or other containers. She told me she doesn't have any. Guess she doesn't cook. Eating out all the time generates more waste than cooking at home, but the older generations are the problem. 🙄 Ironic.

I grew up in Houston. Every time a hurricane threatened, my mom filled up the bathtub. We would use that water to flush the toilets and could boil it if needed. We didn’t have bottled water back then.

got to get a water filter like alexpure. I filter my tap water. I am considering getting a steam distillation unit too. And drilling a well deep to bedrock (200 ft) there is very pure fresh water down there. Gotta well and a solar pump/panel set up and you don't NEED city water ;) If it should come to it. You very quietly get that pump primed and running to your garden hose, filter that water and quietly quietly live happy. No AC? Use a swamp cooler (water and a fan), shade and a solar powered battery fan. There's ways to live here without AC. Frozen food would be problematic tho. Have to fall back to canned and jarred foods. So preppers remember that. Dehydrated has it place but if no water and power out...
Maybe a lot of transplantees who haven’t weathered the storms before. Pre hurricane is when checklists should go out so untested people have something to do, feel like they have some control and not in panic they might lose everything.

We live on the East coast at Daytona Beach and my husband a retired FPL Lineman-19 years, Supervisor-28 years. We have worked a lot of Hurricanes and this one is no different for the media, just darken the colors on screen and put a plate of spaghetti beside it. Then send some newbie reporter with a mike and hooded rain coat to the beach where there’s always a ‘breeze’ and hopefully a few raindrops.
That’s not to minimize in ANYWAY the horrific ones which have hit and the deaths UNDERREPORTED, like Hurricane Andrew!!! We ministered there every weekend for over a year and the stories we heard...the devastation we saw...and not one word in the media.

However, I thought it was interesting on Saturday and Sunday that, although they were preparing a track there wasn't any chatter about strength. It wasn't until yesterday that strength was mentioned. So, I don't really see fear porn here much in this case. I think it is more of giving cover to things they don't want to report about.
The Big Bend area is so low, the area will flood with just a small hurricane going in, people do need to evacuate those low lying areas.

Went to a Publix here in Pasco county this morning. Stark contrast to Jeff's picture of a Gainesville Publix. Most of the shelves here are still stocked and we're the ones in the possible path.
They will use the hurricanes to wipe Lahaina from memory... just when so many of the locals finally got internet access and they are putting a ton of horrific video accounts online and TELLING THEIR STORIES about how the cops blocked and redirected them down to Front Street where they were all gridlocked into place with the fire coming down on them. 183 bodies washed up on Lanai! The chief of police is “fixing” the scene, just as he did in Las Vegas!
Seems certain that instilling fear and panic is part of the reason for those coverages, but also is the simple fact that hype sells their product and they are in business so they need the hype whatever story they got.
Perhaps there are some people that finally do pick up on the idea that they should be prepared always all the time and not just for a hurricane? I think slowly there is a growing population of people who get it and want to be more self-sufficient.

Thanks for pointing that out. I do think many oldsters contributed to the toxicity of the younger generation, not out of conscious intent, but by being unmindful of the direction those intentions would lead.
Somehow, it almost seems by accident, though I know it wasn't, I managed to avoid many of the pitfalls my peers blindly fell into:
• rather than feeding their newborns with mother's milk they were intended to thrive upon, they fed chemical and mechanically produced substitutes.
• rather than raising their children, they consigned them to strangers in daycares.
• rather than primarily focusing on providing a home for husband and children, they entered the workplace where most of their income went to pay for childcare and help in the home.
• rather than buy and cook foods from whole and fresh ingredients, they relied upon mass marketed pre-made chemically laden substitutes.
• rather than take part in supplementing or augmenting their progeny's education, they left it to government indoctrination centers.
• rather than staying married and providing a home with both a mother and father for their children, they chose divorce, subjecting their children to insecurity, men or women who had no familial ties to them, and the purposeful separation from their birth father (usually) or birth mother (occasionally).
• rather than living within their means, they built a life of material gains underwritten by debt, preferring acquisitions they couldn't afford, rather than sacrificing wants in order to provide debt-free for their needs.
• rather than bolstering by example their children's foundation of morals and ethics, they avoided religious teaching and spiritual development.
Poor parenting, abysmal schooling, and cultural decay have in part produced this toxicity.
I may get pilloried for this, but this is the most poignant and well-delivered summary of my parents' (Boomers) generation's failures, to a TEE. (Of course, the last point was a bit off as my parents worship at the church of religiosity and so we heard a lot of moral platitudes (just didn't see living examples).
As a parent myself, I marvel at how well adjusted my kids are. Of course, my spouse and I married young, stayed married, delayed having children until we could reasonably afford them, had FOUR (siblings and large families being awesome), stayed out of debt, saved for their education, homeschool when we're able, and focus on career decisions that allowed us to work for ourselves (and thus control our schedules to prioritize family time and vacations with the kids).
I felt my comment would also be pilloried, but most C&C readers are a cut above, if I may say so, than those I described negatively. My heart swells with appreciation when I hear of parents like you, my son and daughter-in-law included, who take parenting seriously.
This is also the generation that we saw “womens lib” hit and sexual revolution. Many wonderful boomers but many who failed.
I have also seen the terrible terrible action of “giving your child a better life than you had.” Typically The cost of this is children who are spoiled brats thinking all is given or owed ato them nd nothing (or not much) needs to be worked for. Unless you teach counter and make them work for things.
This was not what my parents did but I have seen each generation thereafter produce worse children who can’t handle rejection. Hello, trophy generation!
You mention two biggies, for sure. I have a close friend who was given up to a Christian children's home by his father, after the mother abandoned them, who has practiced pathological altruism on his children, all of whom have amounted to little. He cannot accept that the main reason he turned out to be a successful businessman and good citizen is because his dad, more out of selfishness than love, may have given him the best life potential than if he had kept his children, subjecting them to abuse fueled by alcohol. Teach your children well, or suffer the consequences.

Wild Planet canned sardines, and their other products, are the best. We have cases of them, as well as vacuum packed smoked salmon from Seabear (expensive, but very good and great shelf life) for TEOTWAWKI. I hated sardines all of my life until I tried theirs.
