Sounds nice, but even our churches are defunct. The vast majority supported or pushed or even mandated the Jabs Of The Beast.

Anyone in a church that pushed the Jabs should get/start a new church that's not just a arm of a fascist government system.

Based Florida Man, I completely agree with you. It is ESSENTIAL to my physical and spiritual well-being that my doctor and my church have the discernment to see through the lies as well as the integrity and courage to tread a different path.

My church quietly defied the city and never required mask-wearing. They certainly never encouraged the shot. They did set a cap for attendance for about a month in 2020 when the city first limited public gatherings, but they regret it and have sworn never to be fooled again. I encourage everyone to keep looking. These churches are out there.

We got a new doctor in 2021. In the course of discussing our medical history, he asked if we'd had the covid shot. I said, "No. Have you?" He said, "I would die before I took that shot!" :) It makes all the difference in the world to be able to trust one's doctor!

Our PCA church did much the same. During the first two months of the "emergency", pastor, his wife, and me the videographer/recordist were alone in the sanctuary every Sunday morning. We put the sermons online for our homebound congregants. Then we reopened with "social distanced" seating, and resumed full occupancy before 2021 ended.

Our GP, who prescribed hydroxychloroquine when my wife and I contracted covid, is an elder in this church.

I would love to know where you live @Jo. While churches all around us opened up in May 2020, the church we had faithfully attended and served at weekly, wouldn't open its doors until September and then closed again for awhile in November. Needless to say, we haven't been since March of 2020. The government's rules and my church's compliance and beyond with them, made church become a truly non-essential to me. It makes me sad. Wouldn't the church have been the first to step up and try to help people in 1918 regardless of the outcome? While 100 years later, they hide at home.

My mother was triple jabbed. All 3 times inside a Church which prohibited publicly gathering together and "zoomed" services on Sundays...

Never a PEEP there, regarding all the brave Canadian Pastors being fined, arrested and dragged away by RCMP in front of their wailing little kids, for DEFYING the "health orders".

https://welovetrump.com/2021/06/15/canadian-pastor-arrested-in-front-of-his-weeping-children-for-holding-church-services/

God is not a SuperHero. That's not how he operates. Typically, revival/reformation only come after hard times when people re-learn the lessons their forefathers knew. There are very few shepherds among us that even understand the biblical basis of liberty and have the courage to preach it. Pray for it but I think it's going to take at least another 20 years of hard times. By then, the baby boomer generation that still retained some wisdom from their forefathers will be gone. The upside? God tells us that He ALWAYS has His remnant. The OT prophets are a good guide.

I’m a boomer. Absolutely no one I know as a boomer is “getting it”. Their churches preach pablum. I quit mine. Full of just boomers now in my former small mainline church. I was subtly and outwardly shamed because I’m not Christian enough to get the shots. Everyone buys the gender stuff and vilifies the ones who do not (nicely, though) . I’ll be gone before the SHTF for real. I’m sure there is some boomer wisdom left. Hope there is enough. But God can handle that. I’m reading “a letter to the American Church” by Eric Metaxas. Very powerful. We are in the stage of the German church that that did not stand up to The nazis. He makes a powerful comparison of what is happening now. God help us🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Love Eric’s book. I’ve been trying to formulate a letter to my pastor about being more vocal - having a hard time putting it into words. We had a Black Robe Regiment at one point in our history - influential clergymen who promoted American independence and supported the military struggle against Britain. It’s time for a new contingent of clergyman not afraid to speak out.

Thanks ! I’ll check it out. When I realized what was really going on and how it ALL fit as a plan of Satan and suffused with evil, plus the abuse I received and others sick or resisting were receiving it really blew my world apart. I remember trying to sleep at night astounded that I might be living in the Last Days. Praying for direction, protection and calling for courage and that Jesus remove my fear. He did. I heard someone else say they felt like Jonah being spit out of the whale onto a foreign shore. Apt description. Everything I thought I knew or trusted crumbled at my feet. That is happening to many others also. An awakening. A sermon 30 years ago said that some of us will have to pull people “out of the ruins” and minister to them whatever is needed. I have never forgotten that. God only knows the times and dates but I want to be prepared. God bless.

Yes! That's it in a nutshell! We have a wonderful body of believers. Several members are trying to educate our pastor, in his 40's, on the biblical basis of liberty. Slowly, I see a flicker of light going off. His wife told me our rights came from the government. I most assuredly replied that our rights came from God not the government. Several of us in our 60's and up have been praying that his heart would be open to this biblical understanding. Many in our congregation will not be like the German church which blindly opened the government!

You have given me food for thought, Kim. I do have a letter questioning the biblical instruction to obey our leaders—but not when they are not Godly leaders giving ungodly orders. That sort of bad behavior is a forever war.

What concerns me is when they are directly allied with a political party and explicitly creating scam financial games to channel millions and billions to provide resources for a party to establish permanent power and generate a war chest for military and intelligence policy against its own people.

If you think that 4 or 8 years of DeSantis as President, short-changing Florida of two years of him as Governor, would be a 'win,' read historian Larry Schweikart's book Dragonslayers: Six Presidents and Their War with the Swamp. It starts with Lincoln and goes through Trump. Maybe DeSantis would make a temporary dent, but if we citizens don't make big changes at local and state levels it won't matter who's in charge in DC. In fact, one point made repeatedly in his book is that when the federal government tries to solve problems it created, it does so by creating bigger problems, the legacies of which we are living with today.

Gov. DeSantis wasn't as quick off the liberty mark as some, e.g., Gov. Noem, but he did ruin the "we must wait to be rescued by the vaccine" narrative, by freeing 21 million Floridians, an unusually high proportion of whom are elderly, to no bad result, before the injections were available. Here's the proof, which popped up in my Facebook memories today:

"I will always protect the right of Floridians to work and provide for their families. I enjoyed meeting with restaurant employees and small business owners today to discuss the importance of safeguarding the right of Floridians to earn a living. I’ve got your back!"

[Note to all American citizens from Fla Mom: Like Glinda the Good Witch's advice to Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, you didn't need to wait to be "freed" by Gov. DeSantis. "You had the power all along, my dear." Those rights come from God, not government; it's the *government's* power that is limited in the Constitiution; we retain unwritten rights (9th Amendment).]

DeSantis clearly did make mistakes at the start of Covid with respect to lockdowns. However, unlike virtually every other politician, he reversed himself, admitted it was a mistake, and vowed Florida would never lockdown again. He kept that promise along with banning mask and vaccine mandates. And he did all this despite having won election by only 0.5% and a relentlessly hostile media. And this was Florida, not South Dakota where the GOP wins by 30 points.

I don't expect perfection, but I do expect people to take ownership and learn from their mistakes. That's leadership, and DeSantis is one of the few politicians to show any. Probably comes from his military background.
