Think about the Left's messaging: Wives, hide things from your husband. Children, hide things from your parents. Pregnant women: kill your baby. Kids and young adults:, chop off you reproductive organs. Everyone: having children is immoral as it destroys the environment.

This demonic anti-family agenda could not be any clearer.

The next step is, wives, turn in your husbands. Children, turn in your parents…

Exactly. George Orwell's 1984 laid out the playbook. The kids turning in their Dad.

Expand full comment
Sharon Beautiful Evening's avatar

That already happens in public schools all across our country - for decades. A client of mine back in 1998 told me how his 14 year old son went to school and told his teacher that his Dad "beats on me" - the next day...an "anger management" social worker showed up at this person's door and REQUIRED that he and his wife both attend "anger management classes" or else their son would be REMOVED FROM THEIR HOME!! The guy had "swatted" the kid across his bum--he hadn't BEAT him - and the kid had broken one of the Dad's "rules of the road". NO PARENTING is required now if your kids are "publicly schooled". THE STATE WILL REAR YOUR CHILDREN!!

Expand full comment
79SmithW60's avatar

Yes, exactly. I'll bet that came about from the "It takes a village" regime. The children (that they and their ilk prey on) are placed "above" the parents because the "state" will now be raising your kids. And because of that removal of the parents from the equation, they have taken the next step of keeping secrets from the parents in the form of gender mutilation of their kids all in the name of profits for big Pharma and destruction to their god, Moloch. It is insanity. 2+2 does equal 5...

This will not change until the monopoly of government school funding (taxpayers' money) is taken away from these schools. They can get away with it, because they are not held accountable. Too many think that it is just fine. If the funding dries up, so will much of the evil they are perpetrating.

Expand full comment
Sharon Beautiful Evening's avatar

Actually...the public school "system" was ushered in the beginning of the 20th century. Prior to that it was all "parent and private" schooling for grades K-12. Churches sponsored most of the first "primary/secondary" schools. All of this moral degradation occurred in less than 100 years of our country's existence.

That is part of the "consolidation" of larger banks buying up smaller regional and local banks, and then "strategically" closing them (to thin out the regional access) as they work through their "business model" of consolidation. TD Bank is the master at destroying the local/regional banking industry. They may be just a cog in the bigger wheel (a handful of big box store banks) and making it easier to roll out the eventual CBDC, but they are certainly doing "their part".

How many of us reflexively supported it because the Dems opposed it? I'm ashamed to admit I did. I'm also embarrassed to admit the Dems were exactly right at the time and we ignored them. Somewhere to changed to 'mind everyone's business but your own' and 'be a world citizen world improver'.

Joseph’s story: In Genesis 45:4-8, Joseph reveals to his brothers that their evil intent to sell him into slavery was actually part of God’s plan to save them from famine. Joseph’s brothers meant to do evil, but God used it for good.

The story of Judah and Tamar: In Genesis 38, Judah’s actions were initially motivated by evil intentions, but God ultimately used them to bring about the birth of Perez, a descendant of Judah who played a crucial role in the lineage of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:3).

Acts 2:23: The apostle Peter quotes Psalm 16:8-11, stating that God’s plan involved the crucifixion of Jesus, which was carried out by wicked men (Acts 2:23). This event was a turning point in human history, and God used it to bring salvation to humanity.

The Bible also emphasizes that God is not the author of evil (James 1:13) and that His ways are just and perfect (Deuteronomy 32:4). However, it acknowledges that God can use even the darkest of human actions to achieve His ultimate purposes.

It’s essential to note that this concept does not justify or excuse evil actions, but rather highlights God’s sovereignty and ability to work even through imperfect and fallen human beings to bring about His good and perfect will.

Back during the "Operation Desert Storm", I was attending a conservative PCA church and there was not one critical thought from the pulpit or the congregation about the USG's invasion and war against a country on the other side of the planet we had no business being involved in. I got myself into the car and drove myself down to the draft board and I filed for CO status (Conscientious Objector). This was the first big eye opening event into what an utter fraud government is, and also ... the reason why limited government to essential functions is the only way to keep mischief on a leash. Most astonishingly at the time, my father never said a word about my doing this. I do know that a lot of WWII vets were sick of war. After four years, they had had a belly full. A lot of WWII vets were also angry that they got sucked into the Reserve after WWII (for the money) and then came along the government which told the Reservists that they had to go and fight in another war in Korea. I know one of my father's best friend was mightily vocal about this. All the Korean War accomplished was creating yet another economic competitor to the United States.

(edit: fortunately my dad was well off enough not to get sucked into things by monetary 'inducements'. Things like the Reserves and endless wars. I am so glad to have had a very smart dad!)

I naively believed at the time that we could go in there and establish modern democratic institutions in the Middle East, just like we did in Germany and Japan after WWII. Took me some time to realize that this wasn't possible in a region with their particular culture, religion and traditions. I have no interest or use for Islam and the associated culture and politics that flow from it, and I only want it in our country in very limited numbers, but it's not our business to try to modify it by force. That's up to the Muslims.

Bush was attacked so viciously and irrationally by the left (and some elements of the right) that I felt like I had to be on his side. But the fkers on left were right, although not entirely for the right reasons. Remember all the paranoia about how Bush and his followers were going to establish a Christian theocracy? You see that reflected today in the hysteria about Project 2025.

Expand full comment
AngelaK's avatar

I remember!!

Regarding the Middle East, the hypocrisy started showing when we were trying to take down Syrian Assad, calling him all the same names as we did Saddam, creating scenarios of hysterical "he is gassing his own people", etc. At the height of all this constant news surrounding him, I happened to meet a very educated young Christian man at my church, visiting his American uncle. My husband and I asked him about these horrors we were hearing daily on the news about Assad. He said that he was surprised because Syrians really respected him, he wasn't bad, and he was especially respectful to the Christians. Assad belongs to a more secular denomination of Islam.

So, here is a secular ruler in the Middle East, something we claim to want, yet we were trying to depose him (for nefarious self interests). 🙄

THEN came the horrors of ISIS and their holocaust of Christians. Not a peep from us about it. What happened to 'never again'? They took town after town, beheading and killing as they went. I was in utter disbelief. This was a reason to get involved, but we didn't want to help Assad.

As much as Trump likes to take credit, Russia is really the one who started the battle to defeat them. We came after, and perhaps finished the job.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, **disobedient to parents**, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"

Sound familiar? What always struck me about this passage was in this list of awful behaviors Paul (inspired by the Holy Spirit) includes, "disobedient to parents". What, like they won't clean their rooms or something? It seemed strangely out of place.

But that's not it at all. It's defiance and rebellion against the family order that God put in place and blessed. It's the foundation of God's plan for our lives. That's why it's being attacked so vociferously by these agents of the devil.

The importance of children obeying parents goes all the way back to the Old Testament with this…

““Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.”

It is the only commandment that also contains a promise.

It would have been especially shocking to his original audience given that Greek/Roman culture expected the Man to be the Supreme Ruler over his household, and his wife and children were essentially his property. We probably miss a lot of the force of it today, since we no longer expect that kind of absolute authority over children.

Spot on, Daniel. YHWH placed his Image—his perfect, divine genome—in Adam, and along comes the Serpent immediately (apparently) to corrupt the Image, and preferably, to eradicate it from Earth entirely. Why? Because the Serpent and his OFFSPRING were obviously here first (see Gen. 3:15 — who are the Serpent’s seed/offspring? Also note the implications of a pre-existing civilization on Earth in the story of Cain.).

The Serpent and his offspring have control of Earth and refuse to allow YHWH to rescue it (see 1 John 5:19). YHWH told the Serpent to “eat dirt” and cast him not just to Earth, but to Earth’s underworld, which is the lowest you can go vs the heights of YHWH’s abode (the highest heaven).

IMO, not every human being is a child of God. There are two bloodlines on Earth: Those with the remnants of the Divine Genome which descends from Adam (present in nearly every, if not all races and populations on Earth), and those with no remnant of Adam’s genome left, only that of the Serpent’s genome, his offspring. This goes a long way in explaining why there are some people on Earth who are insanely evil and want to not only depopulate the Earth, but also block the sun in an effort to destroy the very environment necessary for God’s true children to survive. After all, if your home is underground in Earth’s underworld, you apparently don’t need the sun for survival…

Our friends surrounded us with love, but my in laws, who I dearly love, were the only ones who said it was "for the best". I had to forgive them their foolishness, and now have had the blessing of seeing them both so very proud of each of our children and of our children loving and caring for their grandparents (and many others!)

I always think, people who have no kids and crow about it to show not only how virtuous they are for “saving the planet” but also how much extra money they have to do fun things with their lives, are depending on those of us who do have children to provide people who will take care of them someday. Who would be the nurses and aides and other helpers for them if everyone decided to “enjoy life” without the responsibility of raising a child?? There wouldn’t be any. Maybe robots 😑 And I’m not taking about everyone who chooses not to have children or those who would have liked to but couldn’t. Kristi Noem and Pam Bondi could be good modern candidates. Winsome Sears is not eligible because she is not born in the USA, but she is one that is definitely capable.

I am still upset, disgusted, heart broken and/or disheartened by yesterday’s story about the cruelty regarding Peanuts, his friend, & his humans.

This has to stop on all levels. It is a symptom of what has gone wrong. It is a sign of what can or could be.

Who does this?

Dr Linda… I’m still upset too, enraged because of the unacceptable overreach and the implications of this example of tyranny. Yesterday I wrote a comment to a lady who was incensed at the amount of news coverage a squirrel was getting…

“ My comment to a lady complaining about the peanut story getting so much attention….

Megan…. you may be misinterpreting the national interest… a single wildlife agent or warden was all that was required to investigate “ a case of keeping a rodent, a misdemeanor. This couple was swatted with 10 drawn lethal guns, the house town apart… why? The alleged “perp” was completely cooperating. Without a judges hearing or trial of any kind, Peanut and Fred were euthanized…. What’s important, Harris signed off on DOD 5240.01 , allowing police to use lethal force on American Citizens for any perceived subjective dissent or perception the officer fears an attack. Now add in J6, hundreds still incarcerated for entering the capital, declared an insurrection by Pelosi and Liz Cheney NO MATTER THAT NOT A SINGLE ACCUSED CARRIED A WEAPON OR GUN…. this new tyrannical law is in place… swatting American Citizens at dawn often with children in the home, breaking the door down, guns drawn, frighting non combative citizens is akin to WW2 Germany tactics… and will continue if this regime continues… personal 2nd amendment guns will be confiscated already stated by this regime, first amendment and 2nd amendment will be dismantled…

Evidently you need to be swatted for merely posting a comment in opposition to any government narrative… Elon Musk has stated several times his life is in danger if this regime continues, we the people know the manner in which J6 was handled, no due process, lies and accusations that cannot be defended by the accused IS OUR CURRENT STATE OF GOVERNMENT…. no wonder 70 % of the country, proclaimed domestic terrorists and garbage by Biden, are putting our very lives in a former president that never treated American Citizens with such outward disgust and hate….”

I think you’ll find that el gato malo, Bad Cattitude substack writes at a more satisfying depth on the implications that such government overreach, may in fact signal far deeper issues: http://boriquagato.substack.com/p/getting-squirrely

Bureaucratic Insanity

Thomas Musket ⓒ

@ThomasMusket

In a tragic example of government bureaucracy run amok, the fate of a New York squirrel named Peanut has ignited public outrage and raises serious questions about the powers of unelected officials and the absurd extent of government control over personal lives. Peanut’s story should have been a harmless tale of a rescued baby squirrel, nursed back to health by well-meaning citizens. Instead, it became a nightmare that ended with Peanut’s death, all due to heavy-handed state intervention.

Peanut’s journey began innocently enough. Rescued and rehabilitated by a New Yorker who found the orphaned squirrel, the animal became a beloved companion, embodying the very spirit of resilience New Yorkers are known for. But the authorities, in their infinite wisdom, saw otherwise. A state wildlife official swooped in, claiming that Peanut was, in fact, a “nuisance wildlife species” — a designation that effectively stripped this small creature of any chance at a peaceful life.

To any reasonable person, the case against Peanut appears absurd. But to the state, Peanut was not a cherished pet, nor a symbol of one citizen’s empathy and care. Peanut was a statistic in the vast machinery of regulation — a unit within the Department of Environmental Conservation’s (DEC) files. Rather than an understanding, humane response, the DEC opted for the bureaucratic path of least resistance: Peanut was seized and ultimately euthanized under regulations that offered no flexibility or mercy.

This incident highlights the way a faceless bureaucracy can override personal freedoms, imposing mandates without considering individual circumstances. Here we have a system that ignored common sense, choosing to flex bureaucratic muscle over Peanut’s fate simply because it could. It’s a textbook example of unchecked government overreach.

But Peanut’s case speaks to a broader issue. Today, the U.S. is increasingly dominated by a behemoth bureaucracy that often operates with zero accountability to the public it’s meant to serve. When unelected officials have the authority to dictate such trivial matters with lethal consequences, it should be a wake-up call to all of us. Who are these officials to decide that Peanut posed a “threat” to public health or safety? The reality is that Peanut was harmless, but the real threat lies in the unchecked power of regulatory bodies that act without oversight.

The implications of this government overreach extend far beyond Peanut. Whether it's the right to keep a rehabilitated squirrel, grow your own vegetables, or make personal health decisions, the issue is the same: these decisions, small or significant, are being slowly co-opted by layers of government. People who see no harm in Peanut’s fate are missing the point. Today, it’s Peanut; tomorrow, it’s the right to make choices about our lives and homes without government interference.

One lesson is clear: we must hold these agencies accountable. New York’s DEC has lost public trust, and it’s time for citizens to demand more transparent and humane regulations, especially when it comes to personal matters. Peanut’s story is a symbol — of what happens when a state agency, insulated from public accountability, is given free rein to impose one-size-fits-all rules on people’s private lives.

To Peanut, who brought joy to his rescuer and sparked outrage among those who see this for what it is: rest in peace. May your memory remind us all to question, challenge, and stand up to government overreach, no matter how small or “insignificant” the issue may seem.

It reminds me of a funny story from high school, which was extremely embarrassing at the time. Our orchestra teacher needed to work with the jazz band, so four of us string players asked the teacher for library passes. He said yes, then got distracted, so my older brother signed for him and we left. Yes, we actually studied that period. The next period, we all got called to the vice principal’s office and questioned/intimidated one by one. He told me I could be suspended for forging a teacher’s signature. My friend Mark emerged from the office trying not to laugh. My brother just rolled his eyes. I, the typical “good girl”, was trying not to cry! …until my choir teacher the next period told me the vice principal should be ashamed, hauling in good students to yell at while ignoring the students smoking pot behind the school while cutting class. And then my parents laughed it off.

A year later, that vice principal bought our house when we moved out of state. I hope the good vibes we left behind rubbed off on him.

I had an insight about the outrage over the squirrel but wasn’t able to get here yesterday to share it, so I’m glad you mentioned it today Dr Linda.

Some people ask why this squirrel story is enraging so many, and why the stories like the little 10 year old girl who was found to have 57 different men’s DNA inside her didn’t outrage us in the same way. At first I had to agree until I remembered that MSM would never cover the little girl’s story so many people never heard about it. But then I wondered why X didn’t do the same job outraging about it. It could have. Another person asked why didn’t we explode over that story to this same degree? Was it hypocritical?

This is what I think is happening, at least I can see it being true for me, and I’m a good person (I hope): many of us are channeling our horror and outrage over her story and those like it into the squirrel story. Granted if we saw more people openly raging about the little girl we would all pipe up and support the outrage like we did with the squirrel … I think? But it’s not catching the wave when we try. Why? Because it’s too horrifying to spend a second thinking about it. It literally hurts me in a physical way every time I dwell on it. It’s too hard to stay focused on. I break down in tears no matter where I am, in a grocery store, when my mind recalls it and I simply lose it. Some things are so horrific for our minds that we don’t have the mental capacity to stay engaged.

Queue the squirrel.

An outlet, a valve to empty all that pain and anger into and address the same overreach, corruption, cruelty, and evilness that caused what happened to the little girl to happen. It’s having a safe place to vent it and openly fight without the horror of the little girl flooding our minds and literally incapacitating us. A way to fight from a different angle to meet the same ends: to make sure such horror is stopped and never happens again.

The wave of rage is extra high and those who don’t want to hear or believe stories like the little girl (or who don’t think it’s important enough to report on because their narrative is far more important than her life,) well they are simply baffled over why we are “overreacting” over a squirrel. They truly don’t get it.

It's hard for the brain to contemplate such a level of cruelty and pure evil as the case you mentioned while everyone has experience with bureaucrats overreacting. Trump lost my vote when he signed on to Operation Warp Speed, and on his last day in office gave Anthony Fauci a medal.

Wouldn't vote for Trump again even if my priest asked to do so - which he did.

Btw, I donated to Trump again last week - even though he embezzled my $100 Stop the Steal donation in 2020.

Until we have the balls to stop voting for the corrupt GOP, they will keep colluding with the Demonicrats to screw us every election.

Yea, no kidding. My BIL is a retired fireman. He retired around 50 because he said that he was getting to the point that he wasn't confident that he could carry a 200 lb person out of a burning building. Now, every time I see a female fire fighter, I think about that. My husband is 6'8" and weighs over 200 lbs. I'm sorry, but there probably are only very few female firefighters who are capable of carrying him out of a burning building alone.

At breakfast last Saturday, my husband, our adult son and I sat down w our voter guides, an open computer to quickly research and our sample ballots. We had the best time together - discussed the props, bond issues. (Discussion about Presidential and congressional choices was not necessary.) Then we got in the car together, and arrived at the early voting station, asked for our paper ballot and enthusiastically colored in our bubbles voting for Trump and every conservative, God-honoring choice presented to us. It was a great day!

Our wonderful Pastor (who grew up in communist country) spoke bravely and boldly on 10 Commandments emphasized “Do Not Murder” and that if nothing else this should be the issue, (aborting, the shedding of innocent blood) for the Christian, who voting their conscience and Biblical values, has only 1 choice for their presidential vote and it is clear.

Amen! It was another good, good day.

The days ahead will be challenging not matter what happens w the elections.

Time for stalwart maturity. Be firmly planted in God’s Word. Be strong and courageous dear friends!

🙏🏼Praying for our country, protection for Trump, JD Vance, Godly congressman, and Jeff Childers, their families, all those who have been willing to stand us to this increasingly warming pot of Marxism and anti-family regime.

Watched this excellent podcast about forbidden painless and cheap cancer cures found over the last century. Not much new to me, but it was a real treat seeing film of light warriors I have only read about. Of course all of the people involved were persecuted.

And as an addition to my cancer protocols posted in the past month, I think I left out Essiac tea. It is Rene Caisse's name spelled backwards. We have been using it for years., from Herbal Healer, using the actual individual herbs originally discovered by the Ojibwa Indians. It is covered in this video about the 22 minute mark, and goes on for about 10 minutes.

High recommended podcast.

I saw a comment about RFK and fluoride on @Threads. The person was a dentist concerned about removing fluoride….peoples teeth would rot. My first thought was, “Has he been living under a rock for ten years?” He probably still uses aluminum based deodorant. 🙄

Conservative Contrarian's avatar

Let's see, I drink a glass of fluoridated water and a portion of the water touches my teeth for a millisecond, then it all goes into my body. Any dentist, or anyone else, who thinks that will stop tooth decay has already experienced, possibly fluoridated brain decay!

My father was a dentist and was very touchy about the subject of mercury fillings. Notice how they went away quietly, without the dentists really admitting how toxic with the mercury feelings were. They were afraid of an avalanche of lawsuits.

But then the family moved to the city and the younger siblings teeth were perfect.” I have almost perfect teeth, one tiny filling, and so do my 4 siblings. I think it’s genetics. Expand full comment
Sally M's avatar

As a retired Dental Hygienist… it often is a valid observation and categorization! What care a dental professional recommends is usually different for each patient according to what issues we see in your mouth.

Most people are more prone to fight with a high rate of decay OR gum and bone disease. Some unfortunate people face dueling equally with both.

Michele's avatar

My lotto ticket read "Cavities"!

Expand full comment
Sally M's avatar

Sorry- so you got the lecture to use fluoride at every appointment! It is a multi factorial problem! Daily consuming fluoride via water fluoridation has shown people develop less cavities, but at what lifetime health expense? Praying “science” asks, studies and validate harms and provides alternatives.

Topically applying concentrated fluoride to caries-prone areas is probably what has been recommended to you. It does refuse the rate of decay. However I am aware of very few good studies that show no increased systemic uptake and possible harm. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oma's avatar

Oh, Kathy, do you have some links to point me to to print and take to my dentist? I’ll be researching but anything to help speed up my research since I need to call and make an appointment.

Expand full comment
Kathy Sullivan's avatar

Honestly, you'll just have to do research, I've been hearing this for years, many years! Look at other countries and how healthy their teeth are and they are flouride free...Just search around and of course, by watching anything on youtube, etc., it will always lead you to more information. There is one team I have followed with a bunch of flouride info which is The Truth About Cancer, Ty and Charlene Bolinger....You could even give their office a call...they have many professionals behind them even though this evil agenda has done everything to cancel them! They are still doing their thing, just hard to have them pull right up on a search!

There is one thing you can be certain whether it is medical or dental, if they tell you to take this med or that or use this to brush, that to clean, it is to benefit them eventually! They never make us healthier, always unhealthier....take root canals for one instance....it wrecks your mouth, locks in bacteria. If a tooth with a root cancal is inserted under the skin of a rabbit, it is dead within 24 hours...there have been studies! Where is the accountability? Take silver fillings...how long were we poisoned? Where is the accountability....Good luck and let me know if you find anything above and beyond and of course share, we are on our own and need each other, the digital warriors!
