I read that book in college and it scared the hell out of me. Shortly after reading it, the banks came out with debit cards. They sent mine, even though I told them I didnāt want it. I think it was two years before I finally used it. That book was the first warning to me of how the banks would use electronic money to control the population. Interesting how that book had the whole script reversed.

We have been praying for our prodigal daughter, who is a therapist, non-binary/ presenting male to come back to the Lord. I have been praying that whatever God needs to do to bring her to a place of repentance and rescue her from the Demonic influence of the LGBTQ+ movement would occur. Perhaps this lawsuit going forward and the hammer coming down on these doctors will be what she needs to wake up. She counsels trans youth and works with gay and trans clients. My prayer is that something drastic will wake her up.
I just asked His help for your daughter (and for her parents' strength). What I have come to know (not simply believe) in these last five years, is that if I wait, He rights every situation. My task--often difficult--is to be patient.
Iāve been patiently waiting for ten years and things are still as far from being reconciled as ever before. The sad part is these are key and meaningful years in both my and my daughterās life. They are gone forever. We were not allowed to enjoy them like other families do. And how many more decades? Iām lucky if I have another 15-20 years left in my life.
Iām having a hard time understanding why for some of us, despite constant prayer, our entire life on this earth is slotted for nonstop heartache and pain missing out on decades of the very family and love that we hoped for and God desires for us. Many Christians like to believe itās because we āmust be sinningā and so itās our own fault. šBut thatās not true of a lot of people. I mean we all of course sin, none of us is perfect, but often there is no pertinent sin in the life of the mother who is desperately praying. So we arenāt only isolated from the loving family we yearn for and a society that kidnapped it, but we become isolated from the very Christian family we need for support to get through it all due to their pious arrogance.
The way I am able to persevere is by connecting with Jesus every day and remaining in fellowship with other believers. I know I may not see my 3 prodigals return in my lifetime, but I hold fast to God's promise that my household is sanctified through the blood of Jesus.
Jeanne, Juju. I'm not a theologian, and I know there is a lot I'm missing in the book of Job. God allowed Satan to do everything but kill Job, then after Job's three 'friends' 'counseled' him, and his wife simply said "curse God and die" God stepped in and set everyone straight. He then blessed Job with more than he started with. Was this an example of ultimate faith? A lesson in endurance? I'm not sure. I have an acquaintance that has endured enough loss and trial over many years that would break most people. I can only listen, befriend and encourage, as I will for both of you.
Job 2:10 And Job said, Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity. In all of this Job did not sin with his lips.

Prayers up Juju. I know it sounds trite but God uses these trials to sanctify us, it's not punishment. I've got one family member that is a constant struggle but He has used it to teach me patience, gratitude for what I do have, and to better understand the perspectives of other. I never would have learned this if things were smooth sailing.
I have repeatedly seen the more devout someone is the more trials they face in life. It's so common I know it's not coincidence. They ask God to transform them into Christ's image and like the refiner's fire it's a difficult process. However they handle those trials with grace and gratitude and it transforms them and gives them a peace others don't understand.
1000 up votes. None of us know the details , or often the basis, of why we experience disparate tragic events. Yet in the fire of those trials, if we dive deep into our relationship and experience of that which is holy, we grow in Godly qualities and the joy of expanded love.

So sorry Juju! I lost a 19 year old son to suicide in 2020 and identify with the heartbreak you are feeling.... This did not fit at all with my faith! My Timothy was a deep thinker. I used to think he would be a preacher some day. When he was 4 sitting in his stroller he asked me "Is God everywhere?" I said "Yes". Then he asked me "Is that jet poking God?"
At his celebration of life, we had hundreds of people and an open mike. One of the teenage classmates from high school said that Tim was the best evangelist he ever heard because, although he claimed to be an atheist, he asked such very hard questions about God and faith and his classmate had to go back to his Bible and research... He asked very hard questions of us too- about Jesus' instructions to give to the poor and why we kept any? Why indeed? When he won $50 at a high school school assembly, he turned right around and donated it to the Thanksgiving food drive. He had the most pure character and morals of anyone I ever met. Such a pure heart, wanting to know the answers....

He liked contemporary Christian music- as a high schooler, would be singing upstairs enthusiastically. Several times the song by Nichole Nordemann came on and I said to him that this song reminds me of you, Tim. I played it at his funeral. A dear pastor told me that God took Timothy home because he was in so much emotional pain and God wanted him to have peace....

One thing I noticed when I read God's word is the absence of Jesus's earthly family and His lack of focus on His physical ties with them. He had one mission on this earth...It just makes me think. Very hard.ā„ā„
There are so many distractions and lies these days. In this nation and the West....anyway. It is amazing when you fly out of the US, because the freedom is real when you get away from things here. I think for me, the important thing to remember is that I am a daughter of The King and God wins. Demon possession is real, and if Jesus came across it ALL the time with the limited population then, can you just imagine how many more are that way today? "The Church" has been deceived and sold out and satan is pretty happy about that. Nobody judgier than a church full of deluded masses. May the Lord have mercy upon all of us.

I concur absolutely about the impossibility of understanding why some despite frequent prayer and faithful obedience are made to endure so much heartache and pain. The agony of disrupted relationships seems worse than almost all others.
I think sometimes we miss being thankful because we haven't seen it yet. Pray the blood of Jesus over you both every day, and thank Him that He's returning her to you.
Juju ā I too have a prodigal daughter for whom Iām praying and will continue to pray for. In the meantime I started volunteering at my churchās after school program helping the children with homework and just listening to their concerns. Children need the attention of caring adults, and they donāt have to be related. While at first I had to push myself to go (one more thing on my calendar), I now look forward to being with the kiddos, and I donāt spend as much time trying to figure out what I did to cause my daughter to reject everything I value. People can be like Job's friends and blame those who are suffering. Satan is effective at bringing pain into this world. We may never know this side of heaven why things happen the way they do. I would just like to encourage you to take your hurt to God. He does care but He does not always chose to "fix" various issues. Remember that He is the Good Shepherd and He loves His sheep like no one else can. I Peter 5:7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. I pray several times a day for my 23 yo son who is trapped in his delusion that he is a lesbian. So much of this comes from losing his senior year to covid then having a devastating semester in college fall 2020. Too much online. He got hormones prescribed from planned parenthood with less than a year of self ID. Zero counseling and they took no family history. There was no real informed consent.

This orchestrated attack on children is so evil. To take a youth, often facing their most emotional and vulnerable years of just trying to figure life out, and fill their heads with an ideology that exponentially increases doubt and confusion, and the reckless pursuit of a deeply harmful extreme actions, often taken simply because of stress in school, or a poor love experience with someone of the opposite sex, is profoundly evil and will bring its own painful consequences. "The groans of the oppressed, determine the punishment of the oppressor."
