It seems like the long knives have been out for Hegseth since the day he was nominated for Sec of Defense (now Sec of War). I feel for these Trump admin officials who have families and live under a barrage of threats. Praying for their safety and strength.

Carrie's avatar

I read somewhere that Tom Homan’s family basically lives in an undisclosed protected, probably heavily secured location. God bless these guys (and their families)and their willingness to sacrifice to save our country.

Rob's avatar

We need extra security for our leaders now that we're taking action against the cartel, getting more like Mexico all the time..

It is good to see who the serving politicians are that come out and defend the cartel smugglers against what the President is doing!

Lynne Morris's avatar

I suspect that Mexico's cartels are very small fish in a massive ocean of cartel sharks. For years we have speculated about who was pulling the strings of the insanity. Many pointed at Soros or the WEF thugs. But it seems that the roots may be in Venezuela. The Cartel of the Sun or some such BS. That is where the Smartmatic voting machines were created by three computer engineers absolutely connected to the Venezuelan regime(s). To this day. Smartwatch was acquired by Dominion

and almost every, if not every, electronic voting machine in use today throughout the world contains the original "source code" tucked neatly away. This code allows control of election information (like say who has signed in to vote and who has not, coupled with access to running tabulation so that ballots for the nonvoter can be cast for the preferred candidate anyway) that have corrupted elections worldwide. Worldwide. Elizabeth Nickson has a truly stunning piece on her Absurdistan stack. It is so alarming as to call for an instinct to reject it as hysteria. But if any of it is true, Heaven help us. But once I withstood the shock I begin to see it clearly. The who, the what, the when, the where, and the how.

Susan Daniels's avatar

The president of Mexico is allegedly tied very tightly to the cartels. The fact that she is still alive supports it.

Johnny-O's avatar

Wait till people learn that US Secretary of state Narco Rubio lived with his brother in law while he was trafficking narcotics, and that Narco Rubio wanted to install Juan Guiado in Venezuela, who also has cartel ties.

Michelle Enmark, DDS's avatar

I think you’re putting a bit of a spin on the facts here possibly, Johnny O. Marco, at age 14, and his family lived with the brother in law for approximately a month in 1985. Marco isn’t a saint, as none of us are, but he was a minor at the time, not an adult in charge of his own housing choices. What was he supposed to do? Move out and become homeless? As a 14 year old, I would have stayed with my family too.

Lynne Morris's avatar

I agree. I also suspect that American officials are complicitvas well. But they are still the small fish I think.

Susan Daniels's avatar

When Clinton was governor, he allegedly got 10% of all the profits from the drugs that landed in Mena, AK. I don’t think Americans are small fish. But I wonder how they plan to take their ill-gotten gains with them.

Lynne Morris's avatar

I saw that too. In all honesty I am still taking it all in. But I must say that to me it has the ring of truth to it. I have long wondered who the master puppeteer was and I never bought into the Q or Illuminati conspiracies thereto because they seemed like mere distractions. But this hits a lot of notes for me. It really is elegant in its simplicity and galling in its breadth. The bottom line is that if you can control elections across the world, you can control the world.

There has been an Orange Revolution going on for a long time. The latest narrative is led by the seditious six and probably Brennan and other CIA operatives to overthrow MAGA and Trumps presidency. They are setting a narrative and repeating in through their MSM partners until people believe something nefarious is going on. Hegseth is just part of the illegal orders narrative. If they can't find an illegal order, they'll make one up and oops they've already done it.....

Did you have an actual point to make? What exactly should he be doing that he isn't? Go on...if you can.

You triggered? Big Hegseth fan? You think he has the experience and intellect for the job... compared to a great, Patriot Col Macgregor, for one example?

Justify it... IF you can.

Yes, point is, Trump always a MORON in picking Cabinet and staff... so many examples, even a dullard like you can see this...

Little Petey is a good example... an unqualified clown. A sad joke.

Several Cabinet picks are good... but his selection of Zionist-serving schlubs, Rubio, Ratcliffe, Lutnick, Kash, Blondi, Kellogg... all corrupt and/or incompetent...

His selection of the maggot Wiles as COS is maybe his worst...

Seems being controlled by Netanyahu and his Zio-pigs like Adelson is no way to run a railroad... IF you are a Patriot.

Clearly, this passage is about the coming of the Messiah in fulfillment of the OT prophecies and echoes Jesus' condemnation of the Jewish religious establishment in the Gospels and His warnings to His followers of the judgement to come upon that generation. Paul spent a great deal of time talking about the "branch" being cut off and a new one grafted in, again in fulfillment of OT prophecy.

I know there are places where schools are just not doing their jobs and pushing the crazy agendas we are seeing. Where I am in Texas it’s not as much of an issue. My years in the classroom have shown that when parents expect their kids to learn, they do. And it’s the bad behavior of the students who don’t care that makes it so difficult to teach the students who are wanting to learn. Admin is often afraid to do the right thing, which puts teachers who are trying to teach in a difficult position. That’s why so many are leaving the teaching profession. Our culture is so messed up and it shows in our education system. There’s no accountability.

kittynana's avatar

@Kim- my daughter taught inner city 2nd grade for a few years. She was assaulted numerous times- by EIGHT year olds- and everything was caught on camera. Admin did nothing. Nothing.

My daughter was a teacher for 10 years, then when her kids were grown she tried what had been her first love, nursing. After 9 years of that and going through the whole covid thing, she burned out on that and is now back to teaching...6th grade science. She is shocked at the change since 2016. She says 90% of her 95+ students are great, but certain others are continual behavior problems. The Asian background kids are best...polite, sweet, they work hard, they get good grades, their parents are involved and also expect their children to do well. Most of the American kids are pretty good too and their parents are moderately responsive despite some divorces and the like. The Indian kids are fairly good for the most part (girls more so than boys). But the kids from Russian or Ukrainian backgrounds (mostly males) and a couple of Arab background are immature, poorly behaved, disrespectful (especially towards females) and continually disruptive, and clearly don't value learning or doing well, and they clearly don't give a hoot whether they do well in school or not, and their parents don't appear to care or be involved either. The school can't even get the parents of the problem kids to come to school for a chat. The schools now provide a Chrome book for the kids to do a lot of work on (as if they needed to be looking at even more screens!), and my daughter despises it. As much as she can, she makes them WRITE instead of using the computers. She has realized that a great many of them simply can't write or express themselves at all, and she has been shocked at how inept some of them are. They can't write a coherent sentence, can't spell, their handwriting (printing) is terrible. The weak students don't want to write anything by hand, and they whine continually about wanting to use their Chrome books all the time like the other teachers do. The school has a watered down accountability policy for those whose behavior needs modification, but when I compare it to how it was when I was that age, it's really pathetic and nothing that really applies consequences to bad behavior. Therefore, there is no motivation to change. Finally, it appears that no matter how poorly a student may do academically, regularly not submitting work, bad test scores, they are still going to be passed on to the next grade no matter what. There no longer seems to be any policy of making a kid repeat a grade. They can fail everything and still pass. So this is how kids end up graduating but not knowing anything. My daughter is trying to work hard for all her students and bring the weak ones up to speed, but she is finding the other teachers in her group (math, English etc.) have over years of teaching succumbed to not giving a damn about the problem kids and just wanting to make their teaching day as tolerable as possible. No wonder our education system is such a failure.

Of course that is where it starts. BUT one has to wonder.

I started school in the 1962. There were 56 kids in my class. By Christmas I could read. By the end of 1st grade, I wrote in cursive.

I did go to Kindergarten for 2 years. We played and did kid stuff (and took those hated naps!) No early learning and computers. Just learning to get along.

Kim's avatar

You know, I think the computers and all the social media is stunting the kid’s intellectual growth and social media is a constant distraction, even when cell phones are banned during school hours. Writing makes connections in the brain that don’t happen on a computer. Overall, students were very respectful then as well. I started teaching in 1995 and things have gotten bad. Culture shifts make a huge difference in student outcomes. We have all seen the crazy left teachers online. My guess is that is a deep blue area. That would never fly here where I am. There are so many reasons education is a problem.

Abiding Dude's avatar

rolandttg's avatar

I'm not going to argue with that . 10 % of kids play outside once a week or more. average American droid checks their phone 144 X day. Parents use smart phones as babysitters.

Kim's avatar

Absolutely!

Michelle Enmark, DDS's avatar

Yes, and there are many fantastic teachers, Kim. In addition, to paint with a broad brush, they are as a group dominated by progressive women. Their leadership in the form of unions wields enormous power within each state to shape curriculum and thereby mold young, impressionable minds. Most teachers probably don’t know that union membership isn’t mandatory in any state. If the majority opted out, they would lose a lot of their power. My sister opted out as soon as she was able to do so.

Kim's avatar

When I was teaching in public school in 1995, we were told we had to pay the union dues. I asked about it. However, I was not one to rock the boat then. But since covid, my tune has changed. I would push back now.

Michelle Enmark, DDS's avatar

Yes it probably was required at that point. In 2018 there was a Supreme Court decision and since then it cannot be mandatory in any state.

Johnny-O's avatar

Yep, and quite frankly I'm tired of all the teacher bashing. There are a lot of great teachers.

Sorry Kim, IMO schools bear a lot of responsibility. Grade inflation is not isolated to Harvard.

Kim's avatar

I don’t disagree with you. Having taught for years, please know that there are many of us who are trying. I’m not talking about the Department of Education. That’s a mess and dismantling it is the only solution.

Contrary to Ordinary's avatar

Thank you for not taking my comment personally. I personally know (and admire) teachers who are fighting an endless battle with administrators and regulators to just be allowed to do the job. The lack of family support and parental discipline is real, and I don’t mean to dismiss it out of hand. But the system all but eliminates any ability for parents to effect change in the public schools.

Dismantling the system will take an exogenous shock, such as a severe recession. When the tide goes out we can see who’s swimming naked. This is not just an education problem. It is endemic to all government controlled institutions.

Government is the only entity in the universe that, when it fails, it gets bigger.

As a fan of the British show QI, the answer to "how many moons does the Earth have?" actually can have multiple answers. They have asked that question over multiple series and the answer has been as few as zero (the Moon is a co-planet) to hundreds (numerous small bodies orbit the Earth). I doubt anyone had a thoughtful answer but it amused me when I read the question. Great show, btw.

rolandttg's avatar

My British parents watched most of the Brit series shows, like Upstairs, Downstairs. Her mother was a maid of that era. On the moon, I am convinced now it is an artificial body. It has too many unbelievable coincidences to it that cannot be natural. Its distance from earth. Its distance from the sun. Not aware of any other celestial body that does not rotate. Remember when one of the landing craft took off and dropped its booster stage, the moon rang like a bell for quite a while after when it hit.

I am a state prosecutor in a southern state. Several Aprils ago, I was having to cut a check to the IRS for about 20-grand. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper. I was in court that day doing a guilty plea in a drug case and in looking through the file, saw that one of the items seized in the case was a tax return of the defendant, an illegal alien. It showed total reported income of around 15 thousand dollars. It amazingly showed a refund, due to the Child Tax Credit, of almost $20 thousand dollars. WTH?

Time for a tea party! I'm semi-serious. What if 80 million of us just said enough and stopped paying taxes? I'm sick of scrambling to give a hunk of flesh to good old Uncle Sam who is nothing more than an addict to spending, to war, to illegals...the list goes on.

Heterodox Introvert's avatar

The federal income tax is imposed under color of law. Yep.

Some people don't pay federal income tax. They have figured out the scam/scheme. With help they have become educated and unwound the pretzel legalese in USC Title 26, the Internal Revenue Code.

If you have pay, benefits, dividends, gains from sales of assets, &c in the private sector - π‘›π‘œ federal government sources of the foregoing - chances are close to 100% that you do not have a federal income tax liability.

The information about the scheme is out there. One must possess the cojones to apply it. It's no walk in the park, either your study or the initial application of your knowledge. Fear is what grips most and prevents them from acting on their own behalf. Folks like to [justifiably] rail against the beast, yet cower even in possession of their knowledge about the truth.

It's definitely doable, not paying federal income tax.

Maureen's avatar

Even if only 1 million did it, surely it would send a message. I’ll start paying taxes again when Term limits is a law.

David MontanΓ©'s avatar

Already, many millions of Americans do not file income taxes who would be expected by the IRS to do so.

A Treasury report has documented that, at minimum, the *known* number of these is over 14 million.

Freedom Law School has calculated the number to be as high as 80 million and growing. (See Step 2 of their Seven Steps to Income Tax Freedom.)

Pat Wetzel's avatar

and a balanced budget!

David MontanΓ©'s avatar

Ya, why should that be so hard? (I know, I know, it's government.)

kertch's avatar

It would be great if we could use tariff revenues and financial transaction taxes to get rid of the personal income tax completely. Then amend the Constitution and repeal the 16th amendment. Once gone, it will be almost impossible to get people to accept it again.

Pat Wetzel's avatar

Financial transaction taxes opens up a hideous can of worms. Wall Street is far smarter than K Street. Actually, WS owns K Street.

kertch's avatar

It's a good idea. Getting it past the vested interests is the real problem. Still, the can of worms called the Income Tax is now beyond severely retarded.

David MontanΓ©'s avatar

If all the evidence that Bill Benson gathered about the non-ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment and wrote about in his book set, The Law That Never Was (Volumes 1 & 2) were to be reviewed by the U.S. Supreme Court, the income tax would immediately be ended.

"Even if we were to ignore defects of spelling, capitalization and punctuation, we would still have only two states which successfully ratified." https://thelawthatneverwas.com/

The real question, imho, is why ANY person, citizen, legal immigrant, or illegal immigrant, would get money back for taxes not paid. Sorry but, imho, it should zero out.

kittynana's avatar

@Dancing- stopping people from saying 'getting taxes back' is the first step. These people aren't getting anything 'back'; they're being paid to sit on their arses.

Frances Burger's avatar

It's to help working families. Think of it as a kid rebate to offset the expenses of having kids. If you want to encourage people to have kids (and I do) this credit helps pay for child care when they're little and for the incredible amount of food teenagers eat.

My dad volunteered to help with tax returns some time back - or maybe did some part-time work for H&R Block. Either way, he helped people out with returns and he said the number of people who paid absolutely no taxes but got multi-thousand dollar "returns" made him feel sick. And the people were pretty obviously the sort who contribute nearly nothing to society other than providing reasons for social services to exist. He did that one year to help with bills and stopped after that.

MaryAnn's avatar

My son does this volunteer work also. He mainly helps older folks whose returns are pretty straight-forward, like mine 😍

Valerie's avatar

It’s been a while, but I’m assuming the stats are the same… about 50% of Americans filing tax return pay zero or net negative taxes.

Marty Kiner's avatar

As expressed in the article they get an ITEIN (not sure of the exact letters without going back to look) it’s a tax identification number for those ineligible for a SSN.

Lydia Lozano's avatar

The ITIN was signed into law by bill Clinton in 1996, as part of that year's immigration bill. It was introduced by Bill Young (R-Fla.). The idea was people being paid under the table would pay taxes. Ha! It just allowed them to stick their hand into the legal taxpayers' pockets. The rest of the bill was a mixed bag: some of the provisions were good, others were awful, and some of the good provisions were never enforced, such as the requirement that the individual(s) petitioning to bring a family-sponsored immigrant into the country must provide an affidavit of support. In the affidavit, the petitioner must "agree to provide support to maintain the sponsored alien at an annual income that is not less than 125 percent of the federal poverty guidelines." What joke. Never enforced. Hence all the welfare and other social benefits.

My experience around them (I lived next to Oxnard CA for years) is they have a huge cash society. Landscapers, cleaners tradesmen al got paid in cash. I once saw a woman at a Mexican grocery store pull out a huge wad of 20s to pay her bill.

I can’t imagine any if them filing w the IRS.

David MontanΓ©'s avatar

I can easily imagine them filing with the IRS! They just don't report any of their cash income and they claim to have 7 children. Who's looking?

Anne Emerson Hall's avatar

A friend who worked as a school nurse in neighboring Gwinnett County explained that newcomers were tutored by immigrants who’d settled here earlier. My friend was disgusted and I tended to discount her account. Today’s news has me rethinking my reaction.

KBH Geronimo's avatar

I can't claim to "Like" your post, but this is the most shocking thing I've ever heard in my entire life (and I started reporting my income in 1968 and started paying income taxes as soon as I got a full-time job, naturally enough, and not surprisingly, and every year since then on into retirement.) And, yup, still paying taxes on my SS benefits plus a very modest pension! And when my wife passed, I lost her portion of my SS benefits since she - despite working full-time and part-time for many, many years - fell just a couple points short of qualifying for her own SS benefits.

And I still pay taxes, both Federal & State. But I'm not complaining, not a bit. I've loved living my entire life in pretty much every part of this big, beautiful, utterly amazing and varied country that I was born, blest, and raised in! And, in my own experience, so filled with the nicest, most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to meet, from the NE to the SW, the NW to the SE, East Coast to West, and all of those states in-between (where I started my life and schooling)!

But I am well and truly shocked that both Minnesota and, per your comment, "a southern state", are actually giving refunds to illegal alien taxpayers when their "credits" exceed their "total reported income"???

So, thank you for your revealing post, David!

And now I wonder, how many other states do this?

Pat Wetzel's avatar

Probably all of them

David MontanΓ©'s avatar

I happen to know of a dairy farmer with 55-60 employees, 2/3 of whom are Mexicans. The owner admitted to me that many of them are probably illegal aliens who use fake ID's and claim 7 children on their W-4 forms and 1040's.

They are good workers so not sure how smooth a transition the owner can make to hiring and training and paying Americans to take their place.

Lori's avatar

Its not a hard job. Worked on a dairy farm. The machines do it all. Get rid of all that are illegal as he is just supporting sticking it to the rest of us and stealing our paychecks.

I would like to think that I helped contribute to Sec. Bessant's shut off of EIC to immigrants, both illegal AND legal. I am a retired Special Agent with IRS and I know firsthand the scale and scope of the EIC fraud perpetrated by immigrants - billions and billions of dollars and the DOJ (under whose authority the IRS can criminally charge for tax crimes), did not EVER prosecute EIC crimes. I wrote to DOGE when they were initially activated and advised that the EIC is a tremendous source of crime being done by immigrants - because it's so easy to do. File a Form 1040 (individual income tax return), report a small Schedule C of maybe $12,000 in net income from housecleaning (whether you earned anything or not, or even if you earned a ton more under the table, it is a win-win), claim head of household with a kid or two or three, and Bob's your uncle, you get $6,000-$12,000 or even more, in free taxpayer money!!!! So, I am going to take a wee bit of credit, even if undeserved, lol. After all, see something, say something!!!

AnnR's avatar

If the IRS rewrites the tax code, the EIC can and SHOULD be removed entirely. It’s one of the most blatant, in your face methods of wealth redistribution and it needs to be eradicated. Think about it. We pay the taxes and a bunch of people get OUR tax dollars in their pockets, without even "stopping at GO", to use a Monopoly figure of speech. And honestly, immigrant or American citizen, it’s a disgusting method of stealing from the earners and giving it to the non-earners. But I think congress would have to enact a law, I don’t think it’s a purely Executive function.

As the war mongers from both sides of the aisle were telling us we either fight wars over seas or fight them at home, they didn’t tell us the plan to let 30 million 3rd world anti American, anti educated, many terrorist leeches into our country. How many deaths have these people caused, not leaving out our complicit politicians of course? The latest, 20 year old Sarah Beckstrom murdered by Joe Biden, the democrats and a majority of republicans who all voted to let this terrorist animal into America.

Note: Trumps plan to throw all of these people out is the only voice of sanity. And let’s do what the communist democrats do and use the right word, we are going to β€œrepatriate” all of these wonderful people. As we hear from Ilan Omar what a paradise Somalia is she should be the first to be β€œrepatriated”!

It’s incredible how the middle class and the poor constantly pay for these elite politicians mistakes and their entire life. We paid for Joe Biden’s hair, we paid for Joe Biden’s teeth, we paid for Joe Biden’s mansions and the staff there, we pay to feed him, we pay for his health care, his kids to be born (Hunter), we paid for Hinters healthcare, we pay for his wife’s healthcare, her food, her hair to be coifed, and one day we will pay for all of their funerals. And until now, things got worse and worse.

Maybe it’s like the cancer industry scam. If the problems were solved, what would they run and get rich on?

dancingtime's avatar

Re your beginning, I guess that you and most others missed Obama and his statement regarding this country experiencing what countries experience (terrorism here)....He just put everything in FF....As I recall with the Afghanistan retreat, the State Dept said that their concern was getting their own people out and that they did not consult or listen to the military. That at Kabul, Afghans swarming to get onto the planes were not the vetted ones....those were left behind (and hunted down and killed by the Taliban)...I would say that, if the report was true, that's why we really do have unvetted Afghans here from those airlifts....blame the State Dept...

James Goodrich's avatar

The first one to blame is Joe Biden for his β€œPremature Evacuation” which has been an ongoing problem, (Iraq), and other issues. Was there hypocrisy with the democrats and the media saying what a wonderful pullout it was, this has never been done as well as the Afghanistan Pullout. Whose state department was it? This has been going on, and becoming worse each year, since the 1965 Immigration Reform Act pushed through by Ted Kennedy. Don’t forget… a Minnesotan Judge threw out a conviction, of a Somalian, who was found guilty of fraud claiming that the defendant didn’t know what he was doing was illegal.

The reasoning has no legal case law.

Bill Lacey's avatar

If we're talking about the same case, it was a judge named Sarah West that threw out the jury verdict in a $7.2 million fraud case. The judge threw out the verdict stating the prosecutors hadn't proven their case.

Yet the jury deliberated for only 2 hours and returned guilty verdicts on all counts. AND, the defense, at the end of the trial and before sending the case to the jury, made the customary and automatic motion to dismiss the charges because the prosecution hadn't proven its case during trial. Judge West denied that motion and then over-ruled herself but only AFTER the jury had found the defendant guilty.

You really can't make this stuff up. The Left ties themselves into pretzels in order to deny reality and twist the truth to the outcome they want.

This is not a surprise to ANYONE. Furthermore, this was not an "accident". There was nothing organic about the invasion! The organizations that facilitated the invasion took extensive planning and financing including the support of the USG and the UN. In other words, this is a war against America; specifically against white and black Christian America. We are being exterminated and replaced as an impediment to the "empire". The plandemic psyops and deployment of DoD's bioweapon upon the American people is but one aspect of this same war. Beyond the deaths and disability caused by the bioweapon, it's sterilizing effects will insure that our future generations will not reproduce. Illegal aliens were not "vaccinated".

Regardless of what one thinks about Trump, he will not succeed at reversing this. Vetting and deporting 105 MILLION aliens, half of which are illegal, is logistically impossible. Likewise, defeating Marxist control of the USG is impossible because there is nothing to replace it with. Actual Christianity is limited to the last two seats in the back of the American bus and the enemy is driving the bus. A massive civil war is coming to America. There is no common ground in America and the invading army means to rid "their" land of us.

This is just reality.

"....The division cannot be repaired. The cycle can never be controlled or altered, although countless men have tried and failed over the course of history. The United States is due for another massive civil war, but this time, it will be far larger than a mere revolution over taxes. Governments across the world will experience an uprising that causes their demise post-2032, and a new system will emerge. This is not my opinion – it’s just time."

one lifetime

about three generations.

sorry to be picky

Technically correct. Depends on how you measure. Using Based Florida Man's starting point of 1980, it took less than 50 years. The whole VISA mess can be traced by to Reagan's administration.

BOOM!!!! there it is.

Merry McIntyre's avatar

I personally know that to be true.

kittynana's avatar

@Based- my father and stepmother lived in MN from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. It was a very nice state.

daverkb's avatar

New York City in the 1970s was already flooded with immigrants. I noticed huge numbers from Columbia and the Dominican Republic. And after living in New York I lived Florida and then in Virginia in a very rural area far away from NOVA. I didn't notice any big changes until the mid-1990s. And then demographics began to change rapidly, and very noticeable in the small towns and cities. NOVA, northern Virginia near Washington, was already gone.

If Trump fails to gain control over the country, there will be another wave of migrant devastation. And the next wave of radical Marxist revolution will be much more militant and lethal. Marxism is historically a killing machine with all counter-revolutionaries either liquidated of thrown into the Gulag. For us, there will be no second chance, and so ... it's now or never.

CMCM's avatar

Since so very many Americans don't know virtually any history, they don't know about the Marxist/Socialist/Communist record in the world.

daverkb's avatar

In fact, so dumbed down that most American do not know that Globalism is a hybridization of Marxism with elements of Communism, Fascism and Maoism. And Christians do not understand that their churches have been infiltrated by various means and thus have been effectively neutralized. Ignorance translates into helplessness, which the inability of people to defend homes, families and property (of which they have been dispossessed.

Which insures things are going to get a LOT worse.

Democrats and β€œwobbly Republicans” aren’t really as mad about the double tap as they are that the white powder on their noses is getting harder to find. None of them are as angry about the murder of 100,000 innocent Americans through overdose as they are about dead terrorists with a boat load of their favorite bump that they leave in lockers at the β€œWhite” House.

For all his alleged grifting claims you’d think it would be cheaper to buy Zelenskyy off. The Russian 2026 budget is 166 billion for the war.

40% of their state budget.

That’s USSR collapse levels.

He’s right and not when he’s wrong. He’s a mixed bag.

Theft is still theft, even if done by a β€œsympathetic” character who happens to be underprivileged, and is supported by government. This Somali fraud story is just the tip of the iceberg. These government welfare programs appear to be designed to invite fraud, abuse and theft.

I bet if I were caught being too generous with Tim Walz's money, he would call it theft.

First, he would call it a hate crime. Then, he would call it theft.

Could it be that Mr. Walz was edging for the presidential field and the power brokers extended the NYT a "permission structure" to start tearing him down early?

Randy Althoff's avatar

Good stuff! I live in Minnesota and have been paying taxes as I should. I personally cannot wait until Walz is removed from office. It has been WAY too long.

I am also glad that lovely Kamala Harris chose him as her running mate to help uncover some of the more unsavory bits of information about this idiot!

Chris Charlier's avatar

I live in Minnesota too Randy. In Duluth-It’s been referred to as β€œLittle Chicago”… I retired early from the County as a public health nurse after Covid as I could not stand all the fraud and gross actions that went along with Covid. I have family that lives in Minneapolis. I also have a daughter who was the victim of an attempted carjacking at gun point during Covid by a group of Somali teens in downtown Minneapolis when the police were called they basically said they don’t have enough staffing to go after these hoodlums. I was born and raised here and it’s just absolutely sickening what’s been going on in this state. There is like an oppressive demonic shroud/cloud that has increasingly grown here. Even the churches here are too cowardice to speak up! So frustrating!

Randy Althoff's avatar

Thanks, Chris. It must have been hard as a nurse to see the fraud, lies and corruption while actively trying to help people.

I live in Jordan, but my son used to live and work in Duluth.

Keep the faith.

Dr. Soon-Shiong is a gazillionaire. I assume he is careful in his words because you have to reduce the friction to the truth coming. Fortunately, he took back the LA Times as a play thing for his pampered Marxist daughter (almost redundant.) While CA is full of nasty kooks, or sociopaths like our governor, we still have some of the brightest minds to go with the bright sunlight.

As to the Somalians, they did come from a violent country that is corrupt. That is why assimilation is critical. We no longer demand this and it is dangerous, especially when their non assimilation is viewed as arsenal for politicians. While Harris was incompetent, I feared Waltz more. Bishop Barron, without mentioning his name, met with the governor to discuss the progressive trans stuff for kids. The governor looked at him as if he had two heads. That man is very very dangerous and so are the deranged progressive Christians that think supporting all these causes is 'willing the good of the other.' When I drive by protestant churches, they have so many inclusive flags that I am waiting for the next flag that announce 'under new management.'

God help us when so-called churches celebrate Sodom & Gomorrah. It’s a sign of impending judgement.

Catholic Charities were the main mover in the human and child trafficking operation on the southern border.

WP William's avatar

"Christ is Communist" should be their slogan. The Lutheran charities are as bad. Preaching aid to all the poor and raking in hundreds of millions to advance the Socialist Gospel and benefit themselves lavishly.

Kerrylee's avatar

Yep. I heard that too about the Lutheran NGOs. It is so awful to see a beautiful old protestant church hanging out every flag imaginable to try and entice people. As for the Catholic NGOs, Naomi Wolf interviewed a man, the head of a pro-life group. He spoke about the corruption at Catholic Charities. He said one Catholic group was headed by a gay woman married to another woman. Part of the problem is that if they accept federal money, then they must subvert their values. It is a bad deal. Union Mission in LA doesn't accept public money for its homeless outreach services. Because of that, they can demand sobriety of those they serve. It is a successful program.

Loretta's avatar

Catholic Charities has been known by aware Catholics to be corrupt FOR YEARS. Anyone can co-opt a name. And the devil is among all of us...at least the ones he's trying to take down. Be awake!

Dr. Soon-Shiong drug for cancer appears very promising. Saw him on an interview with Tucker. As far as the Somalians, get them out of here period. They can't and won't assimilate. And Christians thinking all this abnormal lifestyle stuff is acceptable best go read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah again. What idiots. And Walz, there are not enough adjectives to describe what he is.

Tom's avatar

"In other words, to the extent any legal ambiguity actually exists, that ambiguity was created by Congress. And Congress lets it continue, on purpose."

Congress is derelict in their duty for the sake of political narrative. This places the moral hazard at the lowest level, the troops executing these missions.

This is shameful.

We continually vote these folks into office to represent us.

What a farce. Almost all are only out for themselves.

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

I wish it was this simple, that blame could be laid at the feet of the American "voter". But we are not voters, we simply provide changeable ballots necessary (and paste on our "I voted" stamp) and the programmable machines and mail in ballot system then systematically steal our elections.

But!!!! I believe President Trump's great work in Venezuela is way more than just stopping the narco terrorist Maduro and his drug thugs - which is why the democrats and rinos are really up in arms. Way more importantly, it is about ending the international Cartel del Sol's theft of our elections and that of 71 other countries worldwide. Please, if you haven't read Elizabeth Nickson's post: https://elizabethnickson.substack.com/p/the-electorate-isnt-5050-the-real-a46 or watched Lara Logan's interview of Gary Berntsen & Ralph Pezzullo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA9OCusr64A you must do so as soon as you can and share it widely.

SD Scott's avatar

Yes! May this truth blast open a decades-long deceit, free Tina Peters, and permanently shift the election process nationwide!

Dan (100% All in MAGA)'s avatar

It's not a given. The President is going to be taking on a multi-trillion dollar cartel in Cartel del Sol. They are deeply infiltrated into American society (and 71 others) and throughout our "governmental" systems - its why we have dems and rinos telling us how life will be.

If he can win this fight, we get our country back. We MUST support him loudly and with meaningful push back. The "seditious six" are a tiny component of what President Trump is up against. I pray our DOW, DHS, Treasury, etc is up to the challenge because they are going to have to carry the overwhelming share of taking down Cartel del Sol.

America needs to get on board and back our President. Keep in mind 30% of "Americans" are doing everything they can to ensure he fails.

SD Scott's avatar

God help our nation!

Rightly So's avatar

A good start to taking back our country would be that the "seditious six" be arrested and prosecuted. So, I ask, what's the hang-up? The communists won't allow it, or what?

Very, very deliberate. They would not have it any other way. They want all the responsibility for making decisions, and the blame and attacks that often follow, to be delegated to the executive branch.
