Even if . . ..

Though the fig tree should not blossom

And there be no fruit on the vines,

Though the yield of the olive should fail

And the fields produce no food,

Though the flock should be cut off from the fold

And there be no cattle in the stalls,

Yet I will exult in the Lord,

I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

The Lord God is my strength,

And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet,

And makes me walk on my high places.

— Habakkuk 3:17-19 NASB1995

This verse you posted is beautiful. Jesus said that we are to die to ourselves daily and pick up our own cross and follow Him.

Sadly, it highlights a comparison of polar beliefs in our world today. It just made me think of that Doctor’s tweet mentioned in Jeff’s piece today. She evidently has the same devotion to her god even to her own death. Her god of self: virtue signaling, othering of those in opposition, and staunch passion for her ideology. What a hollow religion they have.

Leftists really believe they are going to save the world even in spite of themselves.

I thought exactly the same. And then I thought, ‘I didn’t take the jab because of my love of and faith in God’ not hate of my fellow humans.

I bet the dizzy Doctor would “ cut off her nose, to spite her face”!

She would cut off someone else's nose if she thought it would make her look good or "save" her.

True. I share an excellent question posed many months ago by Emma Woodhouse: “And if science is really on your side, do you need appeals to virtue?”

Janice , I can’t agree with you more . There are so much jealous and envious people , who will step on their own “friends “ to climb up the ladder . Sinful shallow world we live in .

The virtue signalers really believe they have cornered the market for love.

The cross is that place to where the flesh is nailed and crucified...

One can never allow the flesh to come down off the cross or he’ll quickly spring back to life stronger than ever!!

When someone like Joshua rises up to lead us, will followers of Christ accept that He has ordained the opposition to satanism? Or will sissy Christians claim ‘Romans 13’ and stick their heads back into the sand? Too many cuckolds in Christianity, those of us who follow the true Christ will be seen as agitators instead of liberators. So be it.

Just like I told my former pastor when he decided to shut-down our church because he worships the government instead of God...”If I have to bring my rifle and shoot my way into (and out-of) a church service, you’d better look out...because I’m a bad shot.”

Let us loose, so that we may be #ruthless and secure a future for our children and beyond.

Seriously, y’all read the OT and actually think God doesn’t slay enemies anymore?

I hear you, brother in Christ! In our church's Bible study we were focusing on the O.T. and some new believers in the group were "horrified" at all of the "violence and killing" that God COMMANDED of the children of Israel. They were "so horrified"--they left our church--and probably weren't true believers in the first place.

This is my favorite most hated vss I've memorized. This is how I know I have The Spirit because this isn't the real me. 🙌 This is how I know there is a God bigger than any man could create.

Job 13:15. Our hope is in His son. The holder of the keys of death and hades.

It's sad to me that people who hate God insist that religion is an opiate. It does not dull my senses! It sure does give me pure, reliable hope. What a dark place life is for them. So despairing.

Today is the national day of prayer. Consider praying for our nation, her leaders and those who are despairing.

On the contrary, the truth enlivens our senses, opens our eyes, and shines light in the darkness. Those who are in sin hate the light, so have to justify their hatred of Christianity somehow.
