The Outlaw Josey Wales truly Clint's finest work---except perhaps the bounty hunting pro-Union terrorist horseback charge on the cabin at the end...talk about suicide attack(!)

It does portray how people lost their minds and their morals during our Civil War...there's a film with Toby McGuire (Ride With the Devil?) same theme, same horrid location KS-MO just not as cool as Clint of course.

Yeah, I didn't understand that "horrid location", at all. New York, Jersey, sure. I'd even call Cali, Oregon, Washington, and Michigan horrid locations, in spite of great natural features. I don't care how pretty the landscape is, they are not on my list. Disgusting people.

Expand full comment
Tio Nico's avatar

Washington and Oregon have only been "horrid locations" for ten, maybe fifeen years. California for more like twenty five, maybe thirty. I think California's last "glory days" were under Reagan. Washington began to "go south" when Queen Christine and the Dem party stole her first election. Her history prior to that debacle was sordid and nasty, but did not have a widespread effect on the whole state until she ascended the throne. Oregon putted along just fine until about he same time.

I say these things having spent above seven decades as a resident of each of these three states. I have spent my entire life living within about twenty miles of Pacific Ocean saltwater. Last forty have been within about half a mile of the saltchuck.

Do the residents there seem OK to deal with on a personal, day-to-day basis? I call them disgusting because their politics are crashing freedom and Western civilization at a breakneck speed. In some ways they seem ok. We were recently in Asheville, NC, a liberal hotbed, and the people were very pleasant to deal with. Given the local demographics, most had to be brainless, flaming libs, all in on the leftist insanity. Interesting anomaly.

Two of my favorite movies. "Ride with the Devil" is actually more relevant historically than Clint's movie. If I remember correctly, it was directed by Ang Lee of Chinese descent from Taiwan who has a deep appreciation of American history. Both movies depict how the War of Northern Aggression and the following period of "Reconstruction" turned the population of the southern states into refugees who had to pick up what they had left and head west as the northern Yankee "carpetbaggers" headed south to rape what was left.

Watch the series “Hell on Wheels”. Takes place right after the civil war when men were needed to build the railroads. You had southern soldiers, northern soldiers, x slaves, immigrant Chinese & of course women of the night all working toward a goal. And competition. The acting & writing the best. It’s been a few years since I watched so not sure where. But probably Netflix. Hopefully now you can view somewhere else. Highly recommend.

Mostly, Republicans are working and won't stop working/providing for their family to protest and second, they don't want to be seen/marked as extreme... too patient and complacent to actually go do an actual protest. Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. I truly believe that those ‘elites’ around the world are not human, but are truly

these:

Ephesians 6:12 TLV

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the high places”

This struggle is ancient

And in the days of the ‘end of the age’ those powers have increased exponentially, due to the decrease in prayer, repentance, and lack of righteous leaders.

“Pride (we have a whole month, but it is unending) goes BEFORE destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall.”

These principalities and powers and wickedness in high places are overdue for judgement.

I agree, 100% with you. I do not believe that they are human. And just to say that seems so strange, but we live in a very, very spiritual world and grow up not talking about it. At least not in the American culture. I’ve had several, meet ups with other worldly forces. Two were by relatives of mine that had passed and souls were on the way to heaven. They stopped to say goodbye. The others were evil, demonic, something that you would see in a scary movie, but it was true. That’s what I like about this Substack. I believe from reading the comments that there are true believers on here who don’t believe in just the prosperity or beauty of the Bible, but the truth that this is, the Earth, it is the playground for the devil, at least now.

Cancer patients need to do their own research first nowadays. For instance, Ivermectin is now a winner in cancer research.

Expand full comment

Yes! And mebendazole too. If you can find an alternative practitioner. They are both FDA approved drugs. There is an animal form called fenbendazole. The drugs can be added to standard therapies, but some people have used them alone in very late stage cancers when they were basically sent home to die, and some people had tremendous recovery. Check out the FLCCC website. They have cancer recommendations.

My husband and I had a discussion the other day. My besties husband has a very rare cancer, diagnosed 7ish years ago and has undergone tons of treatments, including going to Japan for a different kind of radiation treatment. Anyway, it’s getting bad enough that the docs are considering a trial.

I told my husband that and he said ‘he would consider it too, how could you blame the guy for trying?’ I said, ‘OH NO you would try Joe Tippins protocol before you’d do a trial, as a matter of fact you would have tried fen ben, etc a few years ago when I learned about it!”

Ps, I told my friend about fen ben 2-3 years ago, and told her about B-17 this last year. If you’re going to experiment, do it with something that won’t kill you is my motto!

The Lord showed me to start with Him. Trust and have faith in Him and not my own understanding (much less the understanding of others). He gave me understanding through a Bible verse that is absent from many versions:

Mat 17:21  But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting. (KJV).

We all know the power of prayer. We have experienced it. But through this verse, I learned more about the power of God through fasting. This fasting process of NOT doing (being still) has also been shown to have great benefits for those suffering from what is called cancer as well as many other maladies.

Expand full comment
CStone's avatar

Fasting starves cancers/tumors and many other diseases . Combined with faith through prayer, it is a potent treatment.

Expand full comment
Padrig's avatar

In the very least it doesn't feed it. In my mind all treatment should start by not continuing the thing that caused the malady in the first place.

Interesting (to me anyway) aside. Stolen Language: Starve etymologically meant 'stiff.' Later it meant dead. In the 1400s people would say that someone had "starved from cold." The method of reaching the state of being 'a stiff' from hunger wasn't until the middle 1500s wherein it was "starved from hunger." I guess this is how we got to starve meaning being hungry to the point of death. Starved to death though (WYKYK) is kinda like saying Died from Death. ;)

Every time I got PO'd about what was going on I went to my computer and sent money to Trump. I'd give money to my local GOP or local candidates, but in Connecticut that is pointless. Two kinds of vaccines, therapeutic and preventative. One is given to treat condition and one is given to prevent condition. Therapeutic treatments given by needle were given the vaccine name to take on the halo of preventative vaccines and all that may come with it, like safe and effective, liability free, different clinical trial requirements, etc. incredibly they still are acting like the vaccine halo still exists. And I suppose for many it still does, it seems to be less and less by the day.

Robert Barnes is saying that the Democrats think that Americans will believe that any result in a court must be legitimate.

I say that Americans can be fooled if you scare the crap out of them which is what happened with Covid, but they can recognize a kangaroo court from miles away. Do the Democrats think that Americans haven't learned anything from watching courtroom shows on TV for decades?

That’s the point the MM is missing. It’s not a Trump cult, and it’s not necessarily Trump supporters. It’s about the rule of law. It’s about weaponizing the justice system. It’s about propping up a doddering old fool who has decimated the economy and allowed the illegal entry of military-aged men into the country. It’s about preserving the good ole US of A. We see it. We feel it. And we are FINALLY ready to fight it. Remember “It’s the economy, Stupid”? Today, “It’s the Constitution, Stupid.” America watched the blatant manipulation of the rule of law for political gain, and the don’t like it one teeny tiny bit. They may not like Trump, but they like the rule of law. Ergo, a vote for Trump. They have awakened another giant…the American people.
