On Tuesday our country took a step, many with blurry eyes, towards communism.

People that have fled communist regimes and migrated here to America warned Americans but many Americans chose not to listen.

Election after election Jewish voters overwhelmingly have voted for democrats. For Jewish people today, they wake up in a country where discrimination against Jews is not only creeping but now will be governing. When it comes to discrimination against Jews the party that will soon run congress looks the other way.

Election after election black voters give the party of slavery, the Democratic Party, their loyalty, about 9 out of 10. Election after election they get left behind. Their schools fail, their streets bleed, their neighborhoods are last in line. And as of late, when the money gets handed out illegal aliens stand in front of them. Billions of dollars. Free hotels, free debit cards, free phones, free everything. This for people that broke our laws to get here. Meanwhile the American citizen gets pushed to the back of the line. That’s not hate talking that’s democrat reality. Loyalty that is never paid back is no longer loyalty, it’s a habit and Tuesday night the habit took control again.

And then there’s the strangest alliance in American politics, the gay and lesbian community, marching proudly with a coalition which makes large space for political Islam. The people in the parade may not want to hear this but under sharia law homosexuality is not tolerated it is punished. By sharia, gay people are imprisoned flogged and executed. The Islamic state threw gay men from rooftops while the world watched. That is not opinion that is the law on the books. So when the Islamist wing of the democrat coalition is strong enough, which promise will survive (Chuck Schumer ?) the promise they made to you or the promises they made to their god?

Then there’s the average American, many who have no real coalition, just work and struggle to put food on the table and pay their bills. Many Americans that pay 4 dollars a gallon for gas now, voted, and will soon pay double that. They will watch 4 dollar gas rise along with energy costs, food, taxes, etc. The costs of living will climb up the same hill. Across the board costs will rise making government dependency a must for millions.

Every group gets sold the same two lies. Dependence; we will feed you, we will house you, forgive you and own you. The Islamist offers silence. Say nothing about us, don’t question us, or be branded a bigot on the spot. Dependency and silence that’s the old communist program. One takes your wallet the other takes your voice and together they take your country. Communism is forced dependency and silence that’s the program.

Although the election was a disaster we should never lose focus. Day by day we must take back one institution by one. We have to keep in front of us a vision of what we want for America. What we keep in front of us is what we are moving towards. Don’t have a small vision. When you believe in something great, when you believe to set a higher standard for your family, when you take the limits off of God and say God I don’t see a way but I know You have a way. When you believe big like that you please God.

Physically placing something in front of you, seeing it everyday, will push you in that direction. For instance place a copy of the Constitution on a table where you sit. Pick it up, read it, pray that America will continue to follow it. If someone asks what or why it’s there tell them, “I want America to move back towards the Constitution”. We have to keep in front of us a vision of what we want for America.

People may try to talk you out of what’s in your heart but Americans are special. What the communist doesn’t understand is a true American, and there are tens of millions of us, will never hand the communist the keys to our liberty. The enemy would like nothing more than us to give up. We will never give up! Keep the faith!

Wow....that was truly powerful and inspirational and true on every comment. I live a quiet gay life as a conservative and let me tell you I don't get what the hell these people are doing that think Islam is going to embrace them, quite the opposite and they are just stupid idiotic loons. My contemporaries are equally stunned that I oppose all this nonsense of men in women's sports, or that Biden actually ran the country...well he did sort of , like into to the ground. The laughing stock this country was when he had admirals running around in a skirt and eyeliner.

Reading this CC gives hope that we all are not doomed, and Mr. Goodrich's reply equally enjoins that same hope that there are still Americans out there that believe in this great country and we can not let it fall to communism. I'm thankful to have C&C news because the rest of it truly sucks. Thank you both.

Infrequent poster from Texas here... thank you for this excellent opinion. I will be going to my daughter's house on Thanksgiving and will be surrounded by various "other" relatives, some of whom are LGTBQ (raised as Christians), and some who are staunch atheists (raised as Christians). The rest are "pew sitters" who state that no politics or religion is allowed at any/all gatherings, and who staunchly believe that their faith in God is private and nobody else's business. In other words, I alone have a solid Bible believing, Jesus following, God praising, and joy-in-my-salvation faith ( can I get an amen?)! These people may or may not bring up the Election, but posts on their FB indicate they are in absolute fanatical joy at what happened. What to do? I want to get up on the table and yell that it was rigged... because it WAS! And tell them again that they have been deceived by Satan ( my own son recently told me on FB that I was brainwashed by Trump). And proceed to give them the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But I won't. If I did, they might try to put me in a home or something. So. I'll be polite, as usual, but I will also memorize your post and those of so many other good and decent people who are posting on social media recently and who may or may not be surrounded on Thanksgiving as I will be... who need impactful responses given in love. I have grandchildren that I want to continue seeing.

As the words of the opposition get repeated here and elsewhere, abolish this, that and everything White, Christian, Straight, Conservative, Successful, etc., I can't help but think the other side is NOT stupid. Not completely. They are evil and ruthless, satanic even, but not stupid.

What they propose will destroy America and the West in short order...much faster than the RINOs would have. That must be what they want because there is no other possible outcome for what they propose to do.

So, in the words of Sean Connery in "The Untouchables" as he lies dying in Kevin Costner's arms, "what are you prepared to do?"

Sharia law I hope will be enacted in the blue states. This way all that voted for Ali Baba and Aladdin can see first hand what will happen to them.

As far as the alphabet people, I see an Amalek coming.

Blacks deserve what they voted for too. Can't leave them out.

White Libtards, especially the women, may they be forced into burkas and told to shut their mouths or else. Speaking of, did any of you catch the wife of Ali Baba in Michigan when he won. Covered head to toe and just shaking her head. She looked fearful. It was subtle but there. I bet that Sharia home is something else.

May Florida and all who live there with the exception of the Nixon fans (and not talking Richard), keep red blood in their veins for decades to come never giving a nano-inch to the demons. Bravo Florida and Gov DeSantis.

Jenna McCarthy's avatar

SPEAKING OF THE ROPE-A-DOPE!

One fantasy scenario playing out on X is that Trump is actually pulling a Muhammad Ali. Three days before the election, POTUS posted footage of Ali losing to Joe Frazier in 1971. But Ali’s most famous maneuver came three years later, when he let George Foreman pound him on the ropes until the poor bastard was completely spent before bouncing back and knocking him out. In boxing, it’s known as a rope-a-dope, which sounds like something you’d find hanging in your grandfather’s shower but is apparently a consistently winning fighting strategy.

In this storyline, Trump is mimicking the heavyweight champ’s signature move: cheerfully congratulating Democrats, pretending he’s down for the count, and quietly preparing his counterpunch while everyone mistakes his defeat for surrender. Proponents point to election-record preservation orders, federal monitors, and military cybersecurity preparations as evidence that the gloves are unequivocally still on. The part that makes it almost believable is that Trump just got his political teeth knocked in—and somehow he’s smiling through the blood instead of swearing vengeance or demanding a rematch.

"...my respect for the man is even higher"

Every bad thing that has happened to Iran since the end of WW2, the wars, the dictators, the oppression, the invasions, the Mullahs, the droughts, has all been orchestrated and manipulated by City of London, using their private military attack dogs, the U.S.

All because Iran kicked British Petroleum out of Iranian oil fields after WW2. So City of London, the financial headquarters of the Evil, had the U.S. overthrow that Iranian government and gave Iraq everything it needed to invade Iran. Forcing decades of war and oppression onto the Iranian people.

British Petroleum is coming for Iranian oil. And when the Iranians started building weapons, Trump imposed sanctions on them.

And when they persisted Trump bombed them.

And then Trump attacked Iran.

Larry Johnson did a good outline (obviously written before the war) titled:

"Iran Does Not Hate Americans… But it Has Legitimate Reasons to Do So"

https://larrycjohnson.substack.com/p/iran-does-not-hate-americans-but?

"Well, look, we're making a lot of money. The defense companies are doing great." - Donald Trump

And who owns the Defense Industry?

City of London.

Fran Tabor's avatar

When Lloyds of London refused to insure ships at any rate, that left the field open to American Insurance companies -- and lessen London's grip.

Proberta's avatar

"...and lessen London's grip"

City of London does not lose.

They win either way.

The problem for us is that War is the Evil's 3rd most profitable industry (on the books), but it moves up to 2nd if America is actively at war.

Unfortunately for us, the Evil have to make wars to make profits.

City of London profits regardless of whichever side wins.

"People are paying a little bit more for gas, but it doesn’t matter because we are making so much money....We’re making a fortune. Hundreds of billions of dollars. Trillions of dollars..." - Donald Trump

And who benefits?

City of London.

"All wars are Bankers wars".

VikingMom's avatar

But does that mean he is simply going to turn the House, the Senate, and the State of Texas over to the Democrats without ANY attempt to look into some very strange goings on?

I see that Harmet Dhillon resigned today - frankly never trusted her as she always promised big but never seemed to deliver anything. She was supposedly "in charge" of combatting voter fraud but maybe she was working behind the scenes to slow down all the necessary measures to "stop the steal" and she just got called out and decided to quit, rather than get very publicly fired?

TRM's avatar

Rich Baris (pollster and a great one) said the Latino vote in Texas swung and swung HARD back to the Democratic party. The over enthusiasm by ICE in Texas really came back to bite them. So that part of the 2024 Trump coalition went to the D's and the non-war voter stayed home or voted D out of anger at being betrayed.

Samuel Brown's avatar

Possible in the border counties - but certainly untrue here north of San Antonio. Even if this is true, we should have seen the Latino vote subtracted from the R and added to the D. Instead we see the R numbers to be identical to the last midterms and the D numbers surge by 2 million. As a Texan I realize these are rocky times but I recall BETO have much more support and passion around his campaign from the left than Gina H did. I rarely heard her name mentioned yet she garnered 2 million more votes without Abbot staying identical. Seems odd. The Latino voters in TX are legal and often more passionate about closing the border than even I am. As with every election, I find it tough to see what harm a thorough audit could do. If all is legit - so be it.

TRM's avatar

I'd love some serious audits but you had 2 years to fix it. Not enough time? So how long will you need to fix the election system? Your own party GOP killed the SAVE act which was a good start.

Samuel Brown's avatar

If you are talking to me you are preaching to the choir. I am no fan of the GOP...especially the Texas GOP. They are useless. The fact that nobody would address election integrity anywhere should tell everyone that the Republican part is a sham designed to held liberals move their agenda forward with the appearance of opposition. What are the options outside of the TX secession movement?

Amanda Booth Bice's avatar

So, as I have said many times in the past, we need to hold the folks who pay the $10/hour-illegal accountable for their mischief. No pay, no benefits and the economic "immigrants" would likely go home. And the employers who subscribe to these practices, BIG fines and jail but, oh no, that will never happen. Why?

Because the Too little, too late Republican ads failed to communicate that Trump took the known risk of losing an election to prevent a nuclear Iran.

Yes, he kept mentioning it, but powerful ads like the one that destroyed Goldwater?

Never happened.

Would such ads have made a difference?

Duh.

ICE and the administration could have messaged more effectively on the root cause of mis-steps and errors made during their enforcement actions. No agency arrests tens of millions of "customers" without some mistakes, especially when those customers are actively evading and resisting.

In other words, open borders policies of previous administration(s) are the root cause.

A lot of the ills in Texas fall right at the feet of Abbott. He was actually the lesser of 2 evils this time around. Very sad! The Texas conservatives also have not accomplished what they should have, thus the mess we are now in!

Agree. Abbott was often a real disappointment...but he did at least provide a last line of defense from the extreme crazy. I never thought Oklahoma would start looking attractive...

Jefferson recognized Christ as a great teacher compromised by merchants will all of the attributed miracles. He wrote his own bible with the essence therewith......... "Merchants have no country. The mere spot they stand on does not constitute so strong an attachment as that from which they draw their gains. In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own. It is easier to acquire them, and to effect this, they have perverted the best religion ever preached to man into mystery and jargon, unintelligible to all mankind, and therefore the safer engine for their purposes. With the lawyers it is a new thing. They have, in the mother country, been generally the primest supporters of the free principles of their constitution. But there, too, they have changed." Thomas Jefferson Letter to Horatio G. Spafford (17 March 1814).

"Ericka can’t legally hold office. She was always a non-viable candidate. It was obvious and it was public. But since in September’s final week it was too late to change the ballots, Ericka’s name stayed on both races. And on Tuesday, despite being a convicted felon, despite suspending her campaign, despite having been outspent 75 to 1, despite her lack of political experience or any roots in Texas, Ericka still got more votes than Kamala Harris got, in a +19 Trump district.

Somebody explain to me how this could have happened. Her campaign strategy was to quit. It was the most effective Democrat platform since Biden’s basement or Talarico’s three-week flu holiday."

Elections are determined by voters who don't really pay attention. For every person reading this article and keeping up in politics, there are a thousand who don't.

I sort of agree, but think that just means we who ARE informed must ALL educate the small handful of those around us.

The Revolutionary War was won with a meagre 5% of the populace engaging. The rest watched and wondered.

The traitors fled to Canada.

The slave owners (who allied with the British East India Shipping Company and other affiliates) hung around for another 60 years.

The hard-core Dems of today are the remnants of those disgusting hangers-on.

It is OUR task to defeat THEM.

In general I agree with you (obviously, because otherwise I wouldn't do this), but podcasters and Substackers aren't flipping 1.2 million votes in Texas. Tuesday's loss is on the GOP politicians who pissed away their 2024 mandate -- they're just desperate to point the finger at somebody else. (ANYBODY else)

Lori's avatar

there was cheating and illegal voting. this is crystal clear. Trump and his admin have done great and brave things that the other side never would, could have the balls to do. Plus they are fraudsters so would never clean up govt.

Tuesday was just a reminder of a long-established fact: Stupid people should not be allowed to vote.

Idiot # 1: I'm voting for those I trust most with the economy, and that will pursue fraud enforcement.

Idiot # 2: Great idea, let's vote for the party of 9% inflation that encourages rampant fraud. Yeah, that's the ticket.

and then there is this - democrats have been for higher gas prices for decades but have convinced voters to vote for them because of Trump's high gas prices - a vote for democrats is a vote for higher gas prices - go figure

Stupid people should also not be allowed on criminal trial juries, but this is a wish that can never be fulfilled. Left me feeling very unsettled about my fellow citizens. Blue PNW.

Honestly, I think going back to the days when each household that paid taxes got a vote would be a great idea about now. Too many people with only a surface level understanding of the issues and no ability to mentally work through the 2nd and 3rd order effects are voting. Not to mention being economically and historically illiterate.

The numbers in Texas won't face scrutiny IF anyone looks closely...but will that happen?

I realized something grim last night. The big reason the Dems were so determined to turn Texas blue is because without Texas there is ZERO chance for a Republican to get to the White House. That was their ulterior motive. No matter how brilliant a candidate the Republicans put up in 2028, without Texas' electoral votes, they won't make it. Meanwhile the Dems could put up the most radically terrifying candidate (like El Sayed or AOC) and win the presidency because of all the electoral college votes they'll have. Come, Lord Jesus!

I don’t understand why there are people who see how well he governed one of our larger states, and don’t think that qualifies them for leading the nation. What has AOC done to make her more qualified? What has JD done for that matter? I have no evidence for how well JD can govern. I DO have evidence to the competency of Rubio and Hegseth in leadership. And DeSantis is just as worthy.

Lori's avatar

AOC, she was a floosie barmaid. Probably an escort too.

There were three constitutional amendments on the North Carolina ballot:

1. Photo ID for all voters — Requires photo identification for every method of voting, including mail-in ballots (not just in-person).

2. State income tax cap — Lowers the constitutional maximum state income tax rate from 7% to 3.5%.

3. Property tax levy limit — Requires the General Assembly to pass laws limiting how much local governments can increase their property tax revenue from year to year.

All three passed with roughly 60% of the vote.

We still lost to corrupt multimillionaire Roy Cooper public servant for 40 years & our House got flipped.

The Democrats deeply underestimate the unavoidable traps that their mandate has brought.

They've made their comfy new bed for themselves.

Look at what they usually do when they're comfy ... when they're winning.

Need I say more?

Unjust and Ill-gotten gains can only bear corresponding consequences.

Take heart: our institutions are now led by the ideals of a vastly stronger-than-ever conservative movement.

We are now entirely institutionally embedded; plus the law of the land is on our side: They know it; and that drives Dem's bonkers ... they lose their reason.

Swamped in blindness and lying, their fevered outrage further degenerates their behavior.

A Dem controlled Congress serves to heighten their visibility.

And they aren't a good look.
