We had a big one two days ago, but, yes far fewer than what we normally see. The sky is a gorgeous blue.
Yes, we had about 2 weeks of beautiful clear blue skies in Florida until yesterday afternoon. I saw a lot of theories online that it was due to the shutdown. Now I’m wondering if they started back up once the military was paid. Just a thought.
I've read the same observation of blue skies from people all across the fruited plain. And I've seen it with my own eyes, over the Great Smokies, which have been gloriously haze-free for days now.
