It’s Friday! Got your coffee? 🗞*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞

🔥 Omicron is so weird. Reports about new Omicron cases keep piling up, somehow, even though travel with Africa is banned, and even though viruses can’t possibly travel around the world THAT fast. We’re finding the variant in states like Colorado, California, New York, and Minnesota. Omicron has also been found so far in 36 countries. That was fast! It’s so weird.

None found in Florida yet, though. Also weird, right?

There’s another weird thing, too. Every Omicron report I’ve seen so far — out of dozens — features an injected host. I have yet to see an uninjected person reported to have Omicron. And so far, there have been no reports of Omicron being found in any UN-injected person who has recovered from a prior Covid infection.

So. The injected appear to be spreading this thing around. It’s a pandemic of the vaccinated. Their coworkers need to be protected.

🪳 Folk are pointing out this early exchange that, in his new book, Scott Atlas describes having with Fauci:

“I challenged him to clarify his point, because I couldn’t believe my ears. ‘So, you think people aren’t frightened enough?’ He said, ‘Yes, they need to be more afraid.’ “

That tells you everything you need to know about where the spirit of fear infesting this country came from.

Fauci knows a lot about fear. He’s been torturing monkeys to figure out the best way to create a fear response. Now we’re the monkeys. Michael Crichton would have a field day with this one.

🐀 And article published yesterday in Stat News is headlined, “Some experts suggest Omicron variant may have evolved in an animal host.” That darned animal reservoir!

Because of its large number of separate mutations, the experts think that it is unlikely that Omicron developed in a single step. To say the least. Mutations generally happen one-by-one. Omicron has around THIRTY mutations from other known Covid variants. Since we haven’t seen any of the intermediate forms in humans, the researchers think that Omicron resulted from a series of mutations in animal hosts before returning to the human population. Which makes PERFECT SENSE.

This kind of thing isn’t new. It even has a name: “a reverse zoonotic event.”

The leaky, hyper-specific injections aren’t designed to protect people against viral variants that come back from the animals. It’s a major design oversight in the drugs. Even if you could vaccinate every single man, woman, and child in the world in one day, blammo, here comes a variant shooting out of the animal reservoir that beats your leaky, overly-specific vaccine.

It doesn’t even matter whether it’s TRUE that Omicron is the product of a reverse zoonotic event (though it seems likely). The more important point is that it is POSSIBLE. That means the injections will never ever end Covid. Never ever, not ever. It’s impossible.

So, now what?

💉 A Swedish preprint study published in the October Lancet accidentally revealed that the death rate after the second injection is +20% higher than background rates. Safe and effective. The study of almost 1.7 million people is titled, “Effectiveness of Covid-19 Vaccination Against Risk of Symptomatic Infection, Hospitalization, and Death Up to 9 Months: A Swedish Total-Population Cohort Study.”

In a table on page 32 of the study, the researchers disclosed, but did not discuss, the elevated death rate. The study’s main conclusion was that the efficacy of the injections against serious cases decreases dramatically after six months. So they recommended boosters, which is how the paper got published, of course.

🦸 Florida Governor DeSantis announced a $100 million expansion for Florida’s National Guard yesterday, as well as the re-establishment of a volunteer civilian militia, the Florida State Guard. Twenty-two other states already have a similar program, and the Governor pointed out that Florida could also benefit from one. Citizen volunteers, once trained, could help with emergency responses and such, reducing Florida’s dependence on federal assistance in disasters.

The expansion was described by CBS Tampa as “the most substantial investment in the Florida National Guard facility program in the entire history of the Florida National Guard.” It includes $87.5 million to expand the readiness center in Miramar and create three new armories housing up to 1,500 soldiers.

Going forward, DeSantis said he’d like to ensure that proportion of guardsmen to state residents grows. Other states with smaller populations have higher ratios of members to residents. In other words, the Governor intends to continue expanding the Guard.

The motto on Florida’s original state flag in 1845 was “Let Us Alone.” Those early Floridians had the right idea. That motto was printed on the podium where the Governor made his announcement. So.

🔥 Florida has quietly announced a new initiative called “Healthier You.” It includes a tab called “Covid-19.” The tab suggests a list of supplements, including Zinc, Vitamin D, Vitamin C, and Quercetin. It mentions monoclonal antibodies, including a link to find a treatment center, and ends with “Emerging Treatments,” including fluvoxamine and inhaled budesonide (a corticosteroid).

Regarding the jabs, the tab just says “Vaccines continue to be widely available in Florida,” and includes an external link where citizens can go to find a location to get the shot, if they want it.

It’s a start. More like this, please.

🔥 An article in MedicalXpress yesterday is headlined, “College students in declining mental, physical health one year into COVID-19, study shows.” The Spring 2021 study concludes that, despite the injections, easing of social distancing, and return to face-to-face instruction, young people’s health is getting worse. The researchers found marked declines in both physical health — a 35% decline in their number of daily steps — and their emotional health — a 36% increase in their risk of clinical depression.

In other words, roughly half of the total students surveyed saw their physical and/or emotional health worsen even as the pandemic eased. “We were surprised when the data showed us that some of the initial disruptions to lifestyle and mental health that occurred in the spring of 2020 persisted through spring 2021 while restrictions were being lifted,” said Osea Giuntella, an expert in labor and health economics.

They were pretty much immune to serious Covid infections. But government overreach and useless Covid theater like excessive hand-washing, social distancing, masking, and injections in young people injured over half of them.

I have two observations about this. First: young people! You are in a war! Wake up! Second: people who pretend to be empathetic or claim health concerns to advocate for Covid mandates but ignore data like this should be shunned and ridiculed.

🔥 In a November 29 letter from Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva to the LA County board of supervisors, the fiesty Sheriff describes an alarming meeting with the FBI where he learned that some Covid testing labs are sending citizens’ genetic information to China. He referenced a New York Times article from late October headlined, “US Warns of Efforts by China to Collect Genetic Data.”

After making some pointed comments about trying — unsuccessfully — to get a response from county officials, Villanueva said his department is now OUT. They’re taking their noses and going home. They’ll handle their own testing from here on out, thank you.

I’m sure the communists have an honorable reason to collect all our genetic information. That’s why they’re sneaking around and hiding the fact. Because that’s Science these days. You just can’t trust the subjects, I mean citizens, with the truth. Or something.

👮‍♂️ Tammy McDonald, a registered nurse in South Carolina, got nabbed by the FBI for helping a couple relatives save their jobs by giving them vaccine cards even though they didn’t take the jabs. According to The Hill, nurse McDonald is the first person in South Carolina to face FEDERAL CRIMINAL CHARGES for creating fake injection cards.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Times reported that the NFL has suspended Bucs receiver Antonio Brown, safety Mike Edwards, and former Bucs receiver John Franklin for three games — without pay — for having fake injection cards. Criminal charges may be pending, if they can think of a crime.

I’m glad our heroic federal crime fighters are focusing on serious problems like this. We can’t afford to have fake vaccine cards going around, because … well. For some reason. It’s probably bad. I just can’t think of the reason right now.

🦸‍♂️ At yesterday’s presser, Governor DeSantis disclosed that Florida is CRUSHING the tourism business, pandemic or no pandemic. Miami is one of the top search destinations on travel websites, and Florida had 32.5 million statewide visitors just from July to September of this year, topping the totals of visitors during the same period pre-pandemic. So.

The Governor also criticized Biden’s racially-motivated travel restrictions. “I also just think that what President Biden’s doing, by trying to impose more restrictions, he’s now going to say that if you go to the Bahamas as an American citizen, and you come back, you’ve got to do a COVID test. But if you just come right across the border illegally, then somehow, that’s fine? And we don’t care about the test or vaccination? I just don’t understand it,” DeSantis pondered.

The Governor continued, “I think all it’s going to do is cause a lot of problems. I don’t think that they should be imposing any mandates on air travel or any of the things that they have done. I think it has not been anything that’s really made much of a difference. I think it’s inconvenienced a lot of people. I think it’s crimped the willingness of people to travel.”

Referring to Candidate Biden’s broken promise to “shut down the virus,” DeSantis pointed out “he basically sold the public a bill of goods, said that he would shut it down. He’s not shutting it down. What they’re doing now is just not going to have any impact on mitigating COVID, it’s more theater.”
