My wife had her final appointment with her primary care doctor yesterday, the one we have been using for many years. This doctor is employed by a large hospital network in our state. She wanted to tell her primary care doctor that he is fired. He's been pushing the vaccine on her and told her she will die if she doesn't take it. She was so relieved to finally fire him, but really what she did is fire Big Hospital. He is an employee of a corporate medical system and only provided the corporate message, not the personal medical advice of an independent, educated, doctor that she deserves.

Two months ago we signed up with a local doctor under the concept of Direct Primary Care. It's basically a subscription service to a single specific doctor who owns her practice and she does not accept health insurance. My wife looks forward to seeing her new doctor in a very small office. In fact the relationship is so personal that her doctor answers the phone, it's not a receptionist or a call center. I'm proud of her for taking this big step. We had many conversations about leaving the comfort of our Big Health Insurance plan for Direct Primary Care. She said she feels great about yesterday.

Me too! My long-time PCP actually walked out of the room when I declined the vax AND the flu shot in one appointment! It was more than he could handle I guess! I never get a flu shot - ever. And I’m certainly not getting the vax. Time to find another doctor!

Expand full comment

OMG! After I declined the vax and also described my discomfort with the weird and almost creepy pressure to take it, my PCP proceeded with my exam and, when he was up close to my head looking into my ear, his hand on my hair all Joe-Bideny like, to my shock I heard his low, creepy voice into same ear saying, "You knowwww . . . my friend lost her taste and smell after she got COVID . . ."

Later, when I was ill with what seemed to be Lyme's, he refused to see me until I could produce a negative ro test, and he blocked me from going to a lab to get the test done, too. "To protect those at the lab." I refuse to set foot in his office again.

Expand full comment

That is the creepiest thing I’ve ever heard in regards to the pressure of getting this vax. I am exhausted from hearing about it and exhausted from the mandates and restrictions that are just not necessary. I’m thinking that this can’t go on for much longer, but what else will they try to scare us with? I refuse to live in fear.

My writing needs clarification: He would not send me to the lab to get a Lyme's test (not the CV19 test). But now that I think of it: Why was he not concerned about whatever lab or people would give me the CV19 test? And what if I called his bluff and said, OK, I'll get the CV19 test at YOUR LAB. Ha! Finally, I should add that I did not want to risk a false positive test (or even an asymptomatic real positive) because it would blow out all of my sick days and 1/3 of my vacation due to quarantine. That is why I pushed back on the CV19 test. When I told the nurse this, and that my symptoms seemed to be Lyme's and definitely not CV19, she didn't care. It was ALL about the 'ro. "People are dying" she said. She also had never heard about the over-cycling of the PCR tests and their inaccuracy.

Doctors working in large group practices seem to be among the least open minded and curious in this whole Covid saga. Some are silent because they worked many years through medical school, residency, etc. and the risk of losing their license and livelihood is just too great to deviate from the approved party line (inject, inject, inject). At some point, the uninjected may need to organize and form their own health care system and insurance risk pool in order to get high quality, fair and ethical health care.

Another intractable problem is the CMS system. For example, Regeneron is only approved for reimbursement in OUTPATIENT use. Hospitals can't get reimbursed if they give it to you IN the hospital. Thus, administrators won't let doctors give dying patients the most successful treatment we have.

Self Insurance Coops! Totally do it. Small companies do it all the time…and we all know from the age of 50-65 the monthly cost Health insurance is stratospheric! You’re better off taking that money and pay a small practice doctor in cash. That what’s I did prior to qualifying for Medicare for a good 25 years, as I never had health insurance!

(Medicare still gets you with the Part B that you do have to pay for (with some plans). When I didn’t have health Insurance I also got my lab work done through ‘online labs’ that contract with Labs like Labcorp. The Lab tests are much cheaper through these online labs, and they often run sales on the the most commonly required lab tests! There’s always workarounds to The System! A Health Care Delivery System that we all now are seeing is COMPLETELY BROKEN!

Direct Primary Care is simple, you may like it as an option to big health insurance. Google for direct primary care doctors in your area. Look for one that has a simple upfront pricing schedule and works with specialist that support the DPC concept. Consider only doctors who's office doesn't accept health insurance, they will be free of that burden of bureaucracy so they can provide their own opinion for your individual medical advice. Here is one example of a DPC doctor with clear pricing as an example if you choose to use DPC instead of health insurance.

It all seems fairly obvious to THIS audience, which should give some indication where we are as a society. In the simplest of terms: What we have here is a virus (call it what you will) driven by a kick ass PR campaign. That pretty much sums it up. Unfortunately, there is a seemingly endless supply of malleable minds to infect. "His main point, which you can’t get out your head once you understand it, is that NOBODY EVER talks about TREATMENT of Covid. It’s just injections. But WHY won’t anybody talk about treatment? Why do they pretend like Covid can’t be treated?"

I have tried for two weeks - since Dec. 3 - to get my doc to prescribe Ivermectin so I can have it on hand in case I catch the WuFlu. He refuses. His first objection cited the FDA (and that was the extent of his objection; he didn't offer even one word of his own thoughts). His second objection cited the WHO (yeah, believe it or not, my doctor farmed out my health care decisions to...the WHO!), and again he didn't offer even one word of his own thoughts.

Mind you, I didn't just ask for a prescription. Over the past 2 weeks I have explained *why* I would like the prescription, using examples where it seemed to have worked, probably writing in total more than 1,000 words in defense of my request.

It got to the point where I asked him, point-blank, on two separate occasions: "How can our government say IVM is safe for incoming refugees who are required to take it, but in the same breath it says that IVM is NOT safe for me, a healthy taxpaying American citizen?"

At the risk of boring the hell out of everyone, here's my entire communication thread with my doc.

“Hi Dr. Xxxxxxx, I hope this finds you well.

I was wondering if you would be comfortable giving me a prescription for Ivermectin.

I would like to have it on hand so that I could start on it immediately if I were to catch the Covid virus.

Based on my weight (195#), I’m thinking a daily dose of 36mg for 5-10 days would be a sufficient amount.

Thanks,

…………..

Hi,

The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19 in people or animals. Ivermectin has not been shown to be safe or effective for these indications.

…………..

I’m grateful for your concern, but the FDA hasn’t shown it to be unsafe for these indications, either. They’ve punted it.

The FDA also doesn’t “authorize or approve”OTC vitamin supplements for safety and effectiveness, and yet they’re readily available.

In fact, way back in January of this year, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Treatment Guidelines Panel upgraded their recommendation on Ivermectin, making it an option for use with Covid.

They upgraded its status from “against“ to “neither for nor against“, which is the same recommendation given to monoclonal antibodies and convalescent plasma, both widely used in America.

https://www.newswise.com/coronavirus/nih-revises-treatment-guidelines-for-ivermectin-for-the-treatment-of-covid-19

There’s also a story out just in the last few days about a man in Chicago who was dying of Covid at a hospital and the hospital refused to treat him with Ivermectin, and then a court ordered the hospital to treat him with Ivermectin, and he recovered, and recovered very quickly.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/dying-covid-19-patient-recovers-after-court-orders-hospital-to-administer-ivermectin_4130754.html

It not only didn’t kill an old guy with Covid who was at death’s door, it [may have] helped him recover quickly and go home.

So I’d like to at least have it in my arsenal should I ever contract the virus.

Thank you.

Andrew

……………

Hi Doctor,

I was just wondering whether you’ve reconsidered your objection to writing a prescription for me for Ivermectin, based on my previous text.

I’d like to make a couple of additional points in favor of the prescription.

First, obviously you’re aware that off-label use of an FDA-approved medication is a common and legal practice, and that roughly 20% of all prescriptions are written for an off-label use.

Second, the FDA regulates the approval of medications, not the practice of medicine. So just because the FDA hasn’t explicitly approved Ivermectin for this purpose, that alone doesn’t preclude you from prescribing it for this purpose.

Third, virtually all of the resistance and opposition to Ivermectin is political and financial, driven by the pharmaceutical companies and government bureaucrats and elected officials, none of whom should ever come between a doctor and his patient. They all have a financial stake in preventing Ivermectin from being more widely used, because they would suffer terrific financial losses if it turns out that Ivermectin, rather than their precious vaxxes, is the better treatment protocol.

I don’t care about their finances; I care about my health.

Politics should never play a role, and it seems that the politics surrounding Ivermectin may be a factor in your reluctance to prescribe it.

I hope you can find it in you to resist the political pressure, and to write me the prescription.

Thank you.

Andrew

………….

The current evidence on the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19 patients is inconclusive. Until more data is available, WHO recommends that the drug only be used within clinical trials.

……………

Hi Doctor Xxxxxxx,

I don't understand your reluctance to prescribe Ivermectin. The United

Nations is not my doctor. The WHO, an agency of the United Nations, is not my doctor. Both entities are political organizations at least as much as they are anything else, and they are not even American organizations. They have no claim on my health care in any way. Furthermore, the WHO recommends social distancing of 3 feet (one meter). There is literally zero science behind that advice. So the appeal to the authority of the WHO on this matter rings hollow with me.

If we look closer to home, America's own NIH is neutral on the use of Ivermectin and has been neutral for nearly a year. That should matter far more than what the UN or the WHO say.

In the past you've recommended Omega-3 fish oil supplements to me for heart health maintenance purposes. But the FDA doesn't "authorize" or "approve" fish oil supplements for this purpose. In fact, the FDA said - five times, for five different health claims - that the evidence supporting the health claims of Omega-3 fish oil supplements is "inconsistent and inconclusive." While the FDA hasn't authorized or approved Ivermectin for Covid, neither does the FDA explicitly object to the use of Ivermectin to treat or prevent Covid. Fish oil supplements and Ivermectin have similar standing with the FDA, and you've recommended fish oil supplements to me in the past. So the appeal to the authority of the FDA on this matter holds little sway with me.

With respect to clinical trials, per data available at ClinicalTrials.gov, a branch of the US National Library of Medicine, itself an agency of the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) no one seems to be conducting trials of Ivermectin with any seriousness or alacrity. (And remember, the same NIH where this data is available is neutral on the use of Ivermectin to treat Covid.)

There is currently just ONE trial "ongoing" in the US, and it's a trial of just 31 people. That trial began in December 2020 and involved 10 days of treatment and 20 days of follow-up observation. By January 2021 they had all the data from the trial. But they don't expect to issue their findings until July 2022, fully eighteen months later! Mind you, the vaxxes were produced in about 8 months' time, but the only Ivermectin clinical trial "underway" will take 19 months to report? The WHO's appeal to the need for clinical trials in order to pass judgment on Ivermectin for Covid seems to me to be self-serving obstruction by the drug companies and by political organizations carrying their water, none of whom have any claim on my health care management.

I've now deconstructed the WHO, the UN, and the FDA's objections to, or silence regarding, Ivermectin, and I've found them not only wanting, but completely unpersuasive and without merit, in no small part because they're not my doctor. You are. So what do you think? What's your opinion on the matter? What concerns you about off-label prescribing a medication that has basically no risk of adverse side effects and that has been approved for human use in other applications for nearly half a century? Would you be more comfortable if I signed a 'hold-harmless' release? Because I will.

One last point. Over the holidays I'll be spending time in New England (NH and ME), which is going to be in the middle of their seasonal wave of Covid while I'm there. I want to have Ivermectin available in case I contract Covid, then or at any other time, and I think I've made a compelling case in support of the prescription.

My request is not based on something I read on Twitter or Facebook or heard from Joe Rogan. I’ve followed the subject closely for many months and I’ve done my due diligence. My prescription request is an informed one.

Please advise.

Many thanks for your patience and input,

Andrew

No reply, so I shared this article:

https://www.theepochtimes.com/mkt_morningbrief/pennsylvania-covid-19-patient-fights-for-access-to-ivermectin_4141190.html

I excerpted this:

“It is an essential drug. The CDC recommends every refugee that comes into the country take ivermectin. That shows how safe it is.”

He replied with a screenshot of the side effects of Ivermectin, and then said this, with respect to the excerpt:

“Careful with this statement. They do that to prevent importing diseases from elsewhere.”

I replied,

“Right, but the point of that statement is the observation that it’s a generally safe drug.

Even the WHO labels it an “essential medicine” (WHO Model List, Section 6.1.2). Yes, for parasites and scabies, but if the objection is one of general safety, that threshold has been met, by both the CDC and the WHO.”

I then added,

“Nothing is perfectly safe. These are common side effects of prednisone, which has been prescribed for me more than once.”

and I provided a screenshot of the side effects of prednisone. (I couldn’t remember if he had ever prescribed prednisone for me, so I didn’t want to make that claim.)

Then I provided another screenshot of the side effects of another drug, a lengthy list of side effects, and I observed,

“That’s Diclofenac Sodium, which you have prescribed for me.

My point is, I’m aware of the risks of Ivermectin, and I’m aware of the risks of Covid. My request is an informed one.”

No reply.

Next day I sent this:

“Doctor, the US government says that Ivermectin isn't safe for me, a healthy taxpaying American citizen, and my US government is expressly preventing me from obtaining it for my health care.

In the same breath, the same US government says that Ivermectin IS safe for incoming alien refugees (who may be undernourished if not malnourished) who may have any number of infections compromising their immune systems, AND, who may not even be infected with anything that Ivermectin treats. But THEY get Ivermectin, and I don't.

How is it safe for alien refugees, but NOT safe for ME?

This would be comical if it weren't contemptible and unconscionable on the part of our government.

If Ivermectin IS safe, then the US government is committing a crime against American citizens by blocking our access to it; if it's NOT safe, then the US government is committing a crime against humanity by requiring incoming alien refugees to take it.

It's one or the other.

Of course you and I both know that Ivermectin is generally safe; it's been prescribed for humans billions of times over the past 40+ years. You and I both know that off-label prescribing of FDA-approved medications is a common practice. As an FDA-approved drug, it's available for prescribing in a doctor's judgment, not in the judgment of a licensing board or some far-distant bureaucratic agency accountable to no one. You and I both know that the government's blocking of Ivermectin access is SOLELY a political move to protect the profits of the vaxx drug companies and has NOTHING to do with the safety or health care or health management of American citizens like me. You and I both know that the ONLY way to sustain the EUAs for the vaxxes is to prevent inexpensive but effective alternative treatments - e.g. Ivermectin, HCQ, etc. - from achieving legitimacy. You and I both know that those EUAs are driving this, because those EUAs are the ONLY way to protect the drug companies' vast vaxx profits.

I have made a comprehensive, compelling, thoughtful case for the Ivermectin prescription. Mine is a very informed position. No credible, persuasive case has been or can be made against it.

Please provide me with the prescription so that I can be better protected if I should contract Covid.

Thanks again,

Andrew”

Still no further reply. So I sent him this link:

https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/hospitalizations-mortality-cut-half-after-brazilian-city-offered-ivermectin-everyone-pre

No reply.

I then wrote, "Why is there so much hostility toward a drug that's so safe, the US government requires incoming refugees to take it?!

And how can it be safe for refugees but not safe for me?? I have never yet heard anyone square that circle." and I included a link to a story about a Virginia hospital that is being fined $10,000 per day after denying a patient access to IVM not even provided by the hospital but provided by the patient's own doctor.

Still no response. So two days later I sent him picture meme showing Hannah Arendt, 1951, "The Origins of Totalitarianism" and the quote:

"Before mass leaders seize the power to fit reality to their lies, their propaganda is marked by its extreme contempt for facts as such, for in their opinion fact depends entirely on the power of man who can fabricate it."

And my final comment to him - final, because he will no longer be my doc - was "This perhaps better than anything explains the current corruption and dishonesty in America surrounding Ivermection. "The contempt for facts" - what, exactly, is the government's evidence that Ivermectin is safe for refugees but not for me?"

Unbefckinglievable how corrupt and untrustworthy so much of the medical community has become.

Wow. Nice job putting all the info together. When I talked to the pharmacist at a pharmacy in the third state I tried to get a prescription filled he said, "Ivermectin is a VERY dangerous drug! You're not going to find it anywhere."

Anyway, I just saw that Home Lab Veterinary has started carrying the 3mg tablets, just like what you would get from a pharmacy, with maybe a few more impurities (mostly a higher level of rat hair, I presume) than the human grade kind. No prescription necessary. The protocols I've seen are: Ventura study: 12 mg on day 1, day 4, and day 8, or, from Frontline Doctors,.2 to .4 mg/kg body weight, 1X daily for 5 days. (so for a person 111 to 130 lbs, 12mg per dose if my math is right) Both protocols are combined with zinc, Vit C, Vit D, and sometimes Quercitin and/or an antibiotic. https://homelabvet.com/product/ivermectin-capsules-3mg-50caps/

Why aren't Governor DeSantis and SG Ladapo talking about treatment instead of letting the Florida Dept of Health violate the 1947 Nuremberg Code with the following fraud:

"Effective 11/2/2021, CDC authorized the Pfizer vaccine for children 5-11. Contact your pediatrician to discuss vaccinating your child and to schedule vaccination. You may also schedule at pharmacies, county health depts & local clinics...WHO classified a new Variant of Concern called Omicron, and is coordinating with a large number of researchers to better understand it...The most effective way to protect yourself and loved ones from variants is to get vaccinated. As of July, over 99% of new COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations & deaths nationwide are unvaccinated. While it is possible to become infected even if vaccinated (“breakthrough” case) it is exceedingly rare, and rarer still that vaccinated people require hospitalization or die due to COVID-19. Other mitigation including frequent handwashing, social distancing & wearing a mask in public places also greatly reduce your chance of being infected." Florida Dept of Health form email reply

WHY won’t anybody talk about treatment? We're doing it here in the echo chamber for what that's worth. Why not activate The Army to lobby DeSantis & Ladapo's DOH to stop tricking folks into dangerous injections, and to provide or provide for low-cost Covid Prevention & Treatment Kits with Ivermectin, HCQ, D, K2, Zinc etc? If Florida negotiated the price, the kits & consultation would cost very little. Kits could be made available at monoclonal antibody clinics, etc.

How sweet would it be if Florida's death rate not only flatlined during the season, but dropped? Conversely, how much will we wish Florida had taken action if deaths heavily surge and the vax tyrants make hay with it?

In lieu of that, you could always try indiamart.com; many Americans simply order it from India; however, I hear that the FDA is confiscating the incoming shipments now. Go figure.

Today I ordered from Homelabvet. I hope they do not confiscate it because I ordered it mainly for my dog ! It costs less than half of what the vet charges.

See if you can find a vet to prescribe it for your dog. I have a few tablets on hand from there. Of course I did not tell I would take them if it so happens LOL. But I think he might not even mind since his office was mask free and everyone behaved normal, not like we had the pestilence.

"Dr. Robert Malone, credited with inventing mRNA technology, recently explained on his Substack that Omicron almost certainly mutated in injected people — not the unvaccinated. Because of how evolution works, and because Omicron evolved to evade the vaccines, it would have had to evolve in the presence of the injections — a process called “evolving around” the shots. In an unvaccinated person, the variant would have evolved randomly, and the chance that those random mutations would coincidentally evade a vaccine is vanishingly small."

I hope that in the next few years we can all safely say that "WE" we were on the right side of science and not just blindly following the talking heads.

I think it is also interesting (coincidental) that two former CDC Commissioners (Stephen Haun and Scott Gottlieb) now are both closely associated with Moderna (Haun) and Pfizer (Gottlieb). And these are the two vaccines that have the backing of the CDC and not the J&J vaccine. Follow the money..........

J&J obviously is out of the loop now. I wonder what they did or did not do….??

Thank you Jeff, you are an inspiration! I want to move to Florida! But I am Canadian and we are in jail, we cannot leave.

I need some hope that this will one day be over and that the truth will come out!

I am a strong Christian and have left my Church because they made the vaxx mandetory for Children's ministry workers, that is where I drew the line and now my best friend has died of cancer and she asked me to speak at her funeral, but that same church says only vaccinated people at the service but I should record my tribute... WTF??> I can't do it! She is my little sister but I can't!

Yes! That is one of the most important questions: why don't they talk about early treatment? Or more accurately why do they CENSOR discussion of early treatments? Of course we know why. The same reason they CENSOR discussion of "adverse events" aka INJURIES AND DEATH. obviously Big Pharma profits. But it goes far beyond that. That Chinese social credit system looks mighty fine to western elites. And as natural resources continue to diminish, we have to lock down society and control consumption of food, energy, etc. so Gates, Bezos, Schwab et al have as much as they want. So, much as I enjoy your humor, Jeff, we have to be cognizant of the bigger issues at play. Hopefully states will continue to resist and to throw out mandates and lockdowns. They would love to use OMG OMICRON to lock us down again.

I read something I believe it was on the Epoch Times that stated no one is mentioning treatments such as Ivermectin and Hydroxychloraquin ( sp?) because if there are treatments for this virus it would lose its emergency use authorization for the vaccines. I had read that several months ago as well. And it also stated that many scientists are shareholders in Pfizer and Moderna.

100%. No EAU if there is effective treatment. And even with the EAU, they don't want people to know about effective treatments because they won't see the need to get jabbed with a brand new not yet fully tested drug.

I really really hope it is simply a profit motive and not a manslaughter-y motive (to use Jeff's new word) as in Eugenics.

I have a bad feeling this has to do with rampant inflation - there is a desire among the powerful to keep the economy moving slowly. if it takes off, so will inflation. and that tiger is already out of the bag.

"... large indoor gatherings of fully vaccinated people can become super-spreader events in the age of Omicron.”

"Ages", as in the Ice Age or the Age of Enlightenment, used to last hundreds if not thousands of years. Not they last just a few weeks. Heck, even when we say we haven't seen someone in ages, we don't mean weeks. We really are livin' life in the fast lane.

'How could hospitals POSSIBLY be “unprepared?”'

Hmmm ... let me think. Might firing employees for not taking a useless and dangerous injection contribute to uunpreparedness? Nah. Couldn't be.

"As the winter wave rolls all over the US, breakthrough infections are becoming almost more common than are ordinary infections"

I read recently - could be wrong, of course - that the term "breakthrough infection" is the redefinition of the long-standing term "vaccine failure". That is, when a vaccinated person catches the very thing he was vaccinated against, that was ALWAYS called "vaccine failure"...well, always until the Chinese virus arrived.

NOW they call it a "breakthrough infection."

I propose that we stop using the Left's perverted, dishonest language and continue to call things by their rightful names. For example, a tail is a tail, not a leg, so I do not actually have a five-legged horse.

If we have to write "breakthrough infection" so the LIVs and others who only get their news (sic) from the alphabet legacy media can follow along, let's write "breakthrough infection/vaccine failure".

IMO, we need to use the proper terms at every turn. Otherwise, we're acquiescing to the Left's perversion of language, and we're accepting the Left's false premises.

A "breakthrough infection" IS "vaccine failure".

It's becoming as if there are two segments of society --those who are triple vaxxed and afraid to leave the house, and those who are out living their lives. I tried to have a party/music jam a few weeks ago, inviting friends who all live in our highly vaxxed state. Everyone said no, they're not doing any gatherings, too scared, yikes Omicron, etc.. Then I drove across state lines to a low vax state and went to a huge party there with people shoulder to shoulder playing music and dancing and reveling (indoors, mind you) and some even passing around things they put in their mouths. Two worlds. And I'm in my own world when I go maskless in our mask mandated county. I'm enjoying counting the number of times I get reprimanded, though it has not happened at all recently. Small acts of non compliance do add up (I hope).

I don't know why it surprises me when they don't tell the "whole" truth (sheesh, you'd think I was onto them by now!), but WHO director Tedros (and impossible to pronounce the rest of his name 😂), should really finish his reason the medical system is unprepared--hello! They've fired all the unvaxxed staff!! Of course they're unprepared!! (Most hospitals have had to close down entire wings due to lack of staff--at least in Denver.)
