No shortage of this bread and wine…

“For they cannot sleep unless they do evil;

And they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.

For they eat the bread of wickedness

And drink the wine of violence.”

My take is that very people were prepared to confront the depth and pervasiveness of the systemic corruption on a global scale. In the U.S., it should be clear at last that the republicans and democrats have taken turns over several decades "good-copping/bad-copping" the American people in the service of a larger interest that some refer to as the "Deep State."

Yes, as evidenced by the Bush/Clinton relationships!

Sanctions work. But you cannot destroy your energy production to appease the global warming nihilists, and then be forced to buy oil, gas and fertilizer from Russia. Then your leverage goes out the window. (Not to mention you are giving them money)

Expand full comment

Sanctions never work. They make ordinary people miserable, sick, starving and dead, that’s all. Look at North Korea. Years and years and years of sanctions, the regime is still the same, people are dying of hunger. How can anyone support that?

Expand full comment

Exactly! and it allows whatever regime the sanctions are against to blame the sanctions for any and all domestic problems.

Expand full comment

Though, to be honest - the sanctions usually ARE the cause of the domestic problems... that's why we do them... It's called Hybrid Warfare, Unconventional Warfare, or even "low-intensity conflict", sometimes... We usually admit somewhere, like in an internal document (https://thegrayzone.com/2019/01/30/us-economic-warfare-venezuela/) that our goal is to make the little people in a country so miserable - that it inspires them to achieve our goal, for us - which is usually "Regime Change".

Wouldn't it be nice if Joe Biden's sanctions against the American People, could work like that... Think of it...a lot less Brandon and his Burisma buddies. If it works here, maybe it could work across the NATO EMPIRE, and the EU, too.

Expand full comment

Do you think they'll allow the cops, military, CIA, Secret Service, etc. ad infinitum, starve? Or do you think they'll make sure to feed them to protect them from the rest of us undesirables?

Expand full comment

I am very, very concerned that, yes, they will allow our military members to suffer. Not any political office holders, nor their immediate protectors (CIA, SS, etc.) but I truly believe they don't really want a strong US military. They have suffered a lot under the restrictions. (That would be in part why our Marines were NOT granted any form of exemption for vaxx, at least, none my Marine nor I nor any of our military extended family's friends could ever find hope for. )

Expand full comment

Typically, the latter is the case. They may in an extreme event have their rations decreased...but a starving Army is hard to keep in good order and discipline. And they need those people to keep the rest of us at bay.

Expand full comment

Cheer up! We may be losing quality of life, but Europe will be eating bugs, & 3rd worlders will be starving. Literally.

Expand full comment

Yes you should have a plan. At the worst, you are getting food at today's prices instead of tomorrow's, which will be higher. Supply and demand.

Expand full comment

From what I understand the TP shortage was due to everyone being at home. There was PLENTY of them big industrial/commercial sized rolls that go into office and school bathrooms, but since no one was going to those places, the normal demand on the small home sized rolls outstripped the supply. We legit couldn't buy TP here in Northern NJ early on and I came close to doing what a colleague of mine did and order a couple of the ginormous office rolls as emergency paper. Thankfully it didn't come to that, but we did have to cope with the nasty super thin stuff for a while until Charmins nice stuff caught up with demand.

It was bizarre. Luckily my hubby needs a comforting amount of bum fodder in the bank so to speak, so we had 2 big boxes like you get at Costco or Sams safely in the closet before Covid.

Expand full comment

lol. we normally buy the huge multipack thing of what was formally known as White Cloud and had a decent amount on hand. But with 5 people being home all the time where normally 3 had been out (2 in high school and me working), tp usage went up significantly. Was realllllly bad when ShopRite added a 4 roll max and nothing but that single terrible roll of Scott. meh

Expand full comment

Lol. That could cause moments of panic. Don’t even get big Sears catalogs anymore. No Sears anyway now. I grew up on a farm with the obligatory outhouse when septic failed at times. Grandpa always made sure an old catalog was out there. Those were the days of old. Sadly I remember them from experience.

Yes, you should stock up on what you can when you can because you never know when the price is going to skyrocket. I’ve been doing it for months now because every week, it seems a different product we use or food we consume jumps in price. Instead of TP use a WATER BOTTLE, especially the squeeze type they give women who have just delivered a baby. The thinner the better; with a nozzle is best. Then follow up with - well, as a hiker, I'm fine with clean wide leaves, but at home, yeah, some kind of disposable or washable wipe.

Now - food - maybe it's time for a canner or dehydrator or freeze drier.

Thanks you for another courageous article. Thanks, too, for finding the Leon Panetta quote. I think it's becoming clear who the sanctions are intended to destroy--us. If we'd just been more obedient during the Covid "era"-- but, no, people like Jeff needed to remind us of our God-given rights and that all is not yet lost. How are the Western elites going to implement the Great Reset while uppity peasants still have the strength to think for themselves? So we need sanctions to totally undermine faith in the Western financial system, destroy Western economies, and hurtle the masses into a devastating recession.

I Recommend people watch excellent new video on The Duran, among Alexander Mercouris, Alex Christoforou, and Robert Barnes. Long but full of information and informed opinion; by the end they even discuss how Hunter Biden's laptop, Kamala Harris's IQ, and Hillary Clinton fit into the picture.

Stealth omicron is like fire it spreads so fast it will have your head spinning. The good news though is every last person who we know who got it had symptoms like runny nose, sore throat or not, and fatigue. That was it . Many had symptoms but did not test positive for at least five days after symptoms started, then tested positive for the next ten days. But seriously, this is not a big scary. It really is a cold like situation. Not one person we know went to hospital or died from this new scariant. So america, you will get it but you will be fine. May cause a LOT of people to miss school, and work.
