I am happy to have found your Substack as a resident of Florida. My suggestion is to keep your eye on the WHO as they ramp up the plan to sign up all nations to work around their constitutions to fight the next “pandemic” by 2024. The vaccine passports may be on the way out, but the digital I.d.s are very much alive. Thank you for all your hard work. Best regards to the Governor and Mrs. DeSantis. We in Florida are truly blessed.

Totally agree.

As horrible as Ukraine is it is being used as a news distraction to keep undermining freedoms.

Keep pushing forward Jeff, don’t lose focus. There must be an attorney who is involved in politics who can carry that ball for us.

Why we should not lose focus on the Covidian crisis - In the great waste of CA where there is a supermajority of Dems in the state senate and assembly, and the conservative voters are abandoning those who remain, there are 6 Covid bills tightening the noose on freedoms from 6 different directions.

One state bill will would force EVERY worker to be vaccinated or lose their job.

Another requires EVERY child age ZERO to 17 be injected to have child care and be allowed in school. I kid you not. There is not even a vaccine for babies yet but Gov Nuke’em wants to lead the nation.

No nursery or nursery school day care for parents who work. Sticks it to the middle and low income classes.

A city in Los Angeles County is hitting back against vaccine mandates and vaccine passports. The city of Palmdale, California, BANNED vaccine and testing employment mandates and vaccine passports within their city on March 2nd, 2022. The ban also includes any business or entity contracted with the city.

This was the culmination of months of grassroots efforts that aimed at two goals - to encourage the community to stand for freedom, and pressure the city politicians into action. With the passing of the "Freedom Ordinance" (#1577) the "Palmdale Freedom Coalition", accompanied by local decentralized liberty groups, successfully struck the first official blow against Los Angeles County's tyrannical continuation of vaccine mandates. These local grassroots coalitions were formed to resist and defeat the tyranny of Covid mandates, using principles from Kingian non-violent resistance, signage campaigns, email campaigns, making comments on the politicians' social media pages, and petition drives.

The language of the ordinance was crafted by local citizens, and numerous volunteers gathered thousands of signatures from people in support of the ordinance in late 2021.

Initially a majority of the council had been opposed to the ordinance (or said they supported the concept but implementation would be too difficult). However, sustained citizen pressure convinced them to pass it. Prior to voting on the ordinance, two of the council members disclosed that they had suffered ongoing adverse reactions to the Covid-19 vaccination or booster shots, and affirmed the importance of medical freedom and autonomy.

At this time LA County is still mandating their employees get the Covid vaccines or get fired, and California has bills in process which would require EVERY employee in the state to be vaccinated in order to work.

The Palmdale City vote was unanimous: 5-0.

I've just been reading some very hopeful articles in CalMatters. Apparently the most controversial and stupid bills get snuffed out quietly as part of the "suspense file" by the appropriations committees. This is to relieve representatives of the embarrassment of having to show their votes for or against. These bills are truly stupid. And it's not Newsom who is proposing them -- it's Senator Richard Pan and his group:

"The legislative working group is made up of Democratic Sens. Pan, Newman and Scott Wiener of San Francisco, and Democratic Assemblymembers Akilah Weber of San Diego, Buffy Wicks of Oakland, Cecilia Aguiar-Curry of Winters and Evan Low, of Cupertino. All of the bills are being sponsored by ProtectUS, a pro-vaccine group created by Crystal Strait, a former member of Pan’s staff."

Newsom's mandate, by state law, allows for personal belief exemptions (because it's a new "vaccine"), and would not go into effect unless the FDA approves the shots, so it's not nearly as bad.

Pan is term limited so he's out in November. The whole thing makes me think maybe he is advertising himself because he'll need a new job (and maybe he wants to work in Big Pharma? Ya think?) These proposals are guaranteed to do one thing: get in the news, get clicks, raise a ruckus, give him opportunities to be interviewed (with his mask on.)

Some helpful links (hope they work) -- A Voice for Choice makes it clear how to voice an opinion:

synopsis:

Under current international and federal law, the mass murder campaign of the hospital/nursing home protocols and Covid-19 'vaccines,' that would formerly have fallen under pre-2005 international legal definitions of crimes against humanity, is entirely legal.

It's not just legal. It's mandatory for nation-states that are implementing signatories to the 2005 International Health Regulations, including the US government.

Federal constitutions and charters have been suspended since Jan. 30, 2020, when Tedros declared Covid-19 a "public health emergency of international concern" (PHEIC).

PHEIC as a legal superceding of national sovereignty is ongoing, so constitutions and charters have not been reinstated yet. Biden affirmed, by extending the Covid-19 state of emergency in US on Feb. 18, 2022, with no expiration.

And the World Health Organization is currently attempting to expand and strengthen the 2005 IHR framework, using the temporary rollback of Covid-19 'mitigation' measures and the shock of the Ukraine-Russia conflict as pretext and smokescreen.

To me this is a statesmanlike, rational speech; coherent and justified beyond anything I have heard from the US in too many years.

The history of our extra- legal interventions is outlined here, but we never really heard about it in much detail as it was happening. We have been fat and happy here while others suffered. It is easy to wave the flag for US and “democracy” when all the justifying propaganda dominates the headlines:

So is about every other country - does that give carte blanche for invasion?

I appreciate that Jeff asked whether readers want him to start covering the media frenzy about Ukraine. I'd prefer you not, Jeff, because you acknowledge that you "have so many questions," and geopolitics isn't one of your established areas of expertise. There are lots of reasons to have questions, not the least of which is the curious timing of this new crisis and hysteria. I'm a lawyer too, but 80-90% retired from the compensated practice of law, and I have spent a lot of time studying Ukraine since 2014, when a US-sponsored coup overthrew a democratically elected government there and installed a client regime. The most reliable, unbiased sources of information I have found about Ukraine are Scott Ritter (former UN weapons inspector), Alexander Mercouris, and Alex Christoforou, who regularly post on Rumble, Odysee, and in the Duran locals community. If people sincerely want to know what is happening, I highly recommend they listen to these guys. Based on info I learned from them, I suggest an answer to your question about why the power is still on: "shouldn't that have been job number one?" Your question assumes all wars are fought in accordance with the "shock and awe" American model in which US forces obliterate and annihilate everything and everyone in their path, and then come in to mop up as they occupy the country. As I understand it, Putin made the decision to do a "soft" invasion (I know, it's hard to comprehend anything soft about war) in which Russian forces focus on taking out military infrastructure and encircling Ukraine's military forces, but minimizing damage to civilians and civilian infrastructure. Thus, the electricity is still on, the internet is still up, and the trains are still running. He said he did not want the Ukrainian people to panic, as Russia does not consider the Ukrainian people to be their enemies and Russia does not seek to "occupy" Ukraine. As I understand it, some officials in the Russian chain of command did not agree with this approach because it means higher casualties for Russian forces. To be clear: I am not endorsing war or glorifying Putin. (However, I am willing to adopt any Russian Blue cats in danger of being deported under the new sanctions regimes.) I am just reporting what I have learned from sources outside the western propaganda machine. And finally, Floridians, think Cuban missile crisis. If it's ok for NATO to position hostile troops directly on Russia's border, are you willing to let Russia re-install missiles and position troops in Cuba?

If you're watching the MSM news in the west then the Russia-Ukraine business is an incomprehensible mess because they don't want it to make sense. It all makes sense from the Russian point of view, they are following a logical plan and they do NOT fight wars like the Americans. When this is over, Russians and Ukrainians have to live together, right next door to each other. They need to be friends. Bombing a nuclear power plant makes no sense. Except if America was doing the bombing. They wouldn't care less about the destruction, fallout and death because they don't live anywhere near Ukraine.

In 2014, the US sponsored a violent overthrow of the democratically elected Ukrainian government. It wasn't a good government - all crooks as usual for Ukraine - but it started a civil war between the east, which is Russian speaking and the Galicians, from the west, formerly Polish / Austro-Hungarian lands, which hate the Russians. It was a powderkeg waiting to explode. Boom! Eight years of civil war with some 20,000 dead civilians, mostly in the east.

In October 2021, the US starts claiming Russia will invade Ukraine and tensions escalate. In December 2021, the Russians proposed publicly to the US and NATO a treaty to establish a new security architecture in Europe. End the eastern advance of NATO, withdraw nukes from neighboring countries, security guarantees all round, peaceful coexistence. Calm the farm. US and NATO said - NO. Clock begins ticking down.

Russia doesn't invade (but it sure had contingency plans in place - there was going to be an invasion one way of another). It was comical really. "Russia will invade on Monday. No, Tuesday. No, probably Thursday. Definitely going to be next Thursday.....and so on." What can you do when your designated enemy doesn't invade when you really, really need him to? You send your puppet Ukrainian president to the Munich Security Conference on 19 February 2022 where he announces Ukraine is going to revoke the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and will reconstitute its nuclear weapons program. The clock to Z Day immediately started ticking.

Russia can no more tolerate a nuclear armed hostile country on its border than the US could with Cuba, so.....

US, UK, European and western media don't tell the truth about the Ukraine matter any more than they tell the truth about Covid. It's propaganda 24/7. Russia also doesn't tell the entire truth either, but they don't care enough about what anyone in the west thinks to make the effort to lie. People call this "losing the information war."

So, if you're watching / reading about the Russian / Ukrainian war and thinking "this does not make any sense at all. Why would the Russians....[insert question here]?" this is because what you are being told DOESN'T make sense.

I claim no special knowledge but.... https://stolzuntermenschen.blogspot.com/

That's what I did, but not directly to the Dolt of Dolta Air. Thanks for the email! Love the "don't want to fly an airline run by a moron" twist. Stealing it in a few minutes.

Surviving the Billionaire Wars's avatar

Russia has warned for years, not weeks. This is one reason they repeatedly warned in the final week. All that was needed to stop the war was for the US/NATO to agree in writing to not admit Ukraine.

For some odd reason Russia does not want US nukes next door. Imagine that.

Also, their war is with the governments, not the people. So the recent warnings were to give civilians time to prepare

This is also why they have carefully avoided damaging infrastructure & civilian casualties. They cannot be avoided totally, but have to the best of their ability within the context of war.

It is the same reason that they have not turned off the gas in Germany.

Putin is not cartoon Mr. Evil as drawn by the US.

A capitalist oligarch? Yes. But then, so are we apparently.

What ever happened to the truckers in Canada and the ones heading to D.C.?

Supposedly one convoy segment coming through my part of town this afternoon, but information keeps changing and think there will be A LOT more people on the bridges, overpasses and roadsides than there will be trucks. From what some of my friends who are following this more closely than I am, there are multiple convoys with some loosely stated timeline of ending up in the beltway region in the coming days, but a lot of them are cars, pickups, and semi drivers who join the convoy for a few hundred miles and then go back to whatever they were doing. Not sure there are that many going the full distance.

You don’t hear much thanks to a total media blackout of this event! If you are on FB, follow “The Peoples Convoy- official”.

It’s definitely newsworthy. We’re in Amarillo TX and they came through here on I-40 last weekend. We went out to cheer them on and so did 1000’s of others! It’s a grassroots kind of thing which millions of conservative people are hoping and praying may have some impact. Sadly, I don’t think it will unless things get ugly like they did in Canada.

Thank you. I don't do FB, and yes the media won't tell the truth, so I was just wondering what's really going on.

I understand, I hate FB for so many reasons but still hang onto it for a few things like this. I’m sure the truckers have their radios, but communications with the public has been a challenge. If they have their own website it would helpful but I don’t think they do. In spite of that they’ve had huge crowds turn out and they’ve made a great effort!

Re Surgeon General's demand: I sent this to my SD pols yesterday:

To SD Governor Kristi Noem, Representative Dusty Johnson, Senators Mike Rounds and John Thune:

US Surgeon General Vivek Murthy formally demanded that the major tech platforms submit information about the scale of Covid-19 “misinformation” on social networks, search engines, crowdsource platforms, e-commerce platforms and instant messaging systems. The definition he provides for “misinformation” is that which disagrees with CDC messaging.

Whether you agree with the information people choose to share and discuss or not is immaterial. Your oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States is NOT immaterial. The Biden administration is escalating its war on the free exchange of information and has made it clear it intends to suppress those who have views that differ from Federal government agency narratives.

This is an Orwellian terror. It must stop. No other action you take or legislation matters if you allow unchallenged a rogue administration to trample on the ability of US people to speak freely and debate issues. If this overreach goes forward, then all other tyrannies can and will follow.

Great point! Note if you don't 'stand with Ukraine' you'll get de-platformed (that's already underway). Same as what happened to HQC and IVM. Just disappear them off the market.

The one thing we do know is we spent two years hearing ‘covid is bad’ and now the narrative has switched to ‘Russia is bad’

Why would we believe any of their narrative ever again- about anything?

Finding the truth today- is a full time job.

Go to World-Signals.com and read their stories/perspective… and I’d LOVE to hear your perspective afterwards. It’s definitely the counter argument to CNN and Fox News.

This man, on the ground in Ukraine, seems to have a very different perspective on the reality.

You are exactly right. There is so much theatre going on to distract us. I have been reminding myself frequently every day to "Look up", meaning that faith in God is more important than anything else on Earth. This doesn't mean we should ignore all this confusion, pivoting, misdirection and general bullshit. And I don't mean to minimize conflicts where people are dying. But we all need to fight like wildcats against vaccine passports/digital ID/digital currency, regardless of whatever other pots are bubbling. The sociopathic Globalists/WEF/New World Orderists just keep chugging along in the background. They are everywhere dug in like termites and have been at this for a long time. This is a global war for freedom.

P.S. The moniker "Resident elephant seal" made my beta-endorphin level shoot up a couple hundred percent. Even though I had to clean up the coffee I sprayed. Kudos to you, Jeff.

This is five hours long… and I thought, no way would I ever watch a five hour video… but after watching it all…

I gotta tell ya… as a critical thinker… I can’t UNSEE this.

I found no answers.

Only MANY MORE questions.
