Just made my Project Multiplier donation!

Additionally, as avid car collectors, my husband and, I along with another couple, were planning a trip to the Pebble Beach 2022 Concours…after some conversation about hating to miss it, but hating MORE the idea of putting ANY of our hard earned money into California, we made an abrupt planning U-turn and booked a trip to the 2022 Amelia Island Comcours instead. The four of us will be pouring several thousand bucks into a state that wants us and deserves it… THIS is just one example of peaceful protest. We are telling this story to everyone that will listen. We all need to act out. And tell it so others understand the impact of stupid policies.

Readers, please share constructive examples of how you are acting out. The rest of us can use the suggestions!

You inspired me to plan the Everglades NP trip I have long wanted to take. Damn straight: let’s put our $ into FL’s economy.

On another "activist" note - I just sent an email to my two online subscription services (dog food and a bone broth company) asking if they require the COVID vaccine for their employees. I told them if they do, I will no longer be buying their products.

Nice. I was waiting for a check approval at a Costco in Calizuela (fka California) yesterday & had time to chat up the guy at membership. He said Costco didn't force employees to vax. I wonder how long that will be true. Said he decided to anyway, based on some "incentive", like they gave him an hour off (probably in case of shock, stroke etc). After giving him a hint on what's really going on, I don't think he'll be jumping on boosters. In any case, if Costco requires it, I'll terminate my 30-year membership immediately.

WELL PLAYED. I think I'll do the same!

"Or, is the CDC even tracking excess deaths any more?"

They are and I've been worried about this for several weeks. UsMortality.com has a nice UI built on top of the CDC data. Go there and look at the mortality trends for 25-44 and 45-64 year olds.

It's awful. I mean, I'm talking 5000k more *per week* in the 45-64 group. That's 60%+ more death. And, it's been increasing by about 500/week since summer (don't be fooled by the recent down-trend -- the last 6-8 weeks are incomplete).

This is the biggest story in the country right now and it's being ignored.

Sent my $12 from Washington State :-)

Expand full comment

Wow, it's well above the "normal range"

Expand full comment

Yes, and I doubt it's covid, unless something really changed about how the disease impacts various age cohorts.

It's almost as if some novel, exogenous, forcing event took place over the spring/summer/fall of 2021...

Almost but it can't be "that which cannot be named". It's NEVER that.

This is the story. Wow. And hello from another Washingtonian that just donated $12. My first political donation ever.

$100 says nearly 100% of the "covid" deaths are either:

1) Vaccine deaths of folks who took the injection based on fraudulent misrepresentation, withheld information etc: Mass manslaughter or murder, depending on jurisdiction.

2) Denial of effective treatments or care (HCQ, Ivermectin, etc): Mass manslaughter or murder, depending on jurisdiction.

3) Straight up murder, especially of the elderly & unvaccinated, by "woke" sociopathic "healthcare" personnel who know they can get away with it under cover of "covid".

Expand full comment

Also:

Accidents in the vaccinated (eg, stroke/heart attack while driving).

Delayed diagnosis and treatment of various non-covid conditions, either because unvaxxed ("crisis standard of care") or fear of going to hospital. There is a lot of bacterial pneumonia being ignored ("go home, come back when you can't breathe") until the infection is very well entrenched. Plus trying to use telehealth as a replacement for good care.

Suicides and drug overdoses.

Great points. That reminds me to order antibiotics from that Indian pharmacy...

It's been awhile since I last looked at graphs. These are alarming. I thought a freelancer was looking at correlates (County, vax status, demographics etc) but am blanking if that was actually the case.

I cringe at the thought of giving my hard earned money to any political party. However, I will donate my $12 to DeSantis. BUT, I will not give it to the Republican Party. I will donate directly to DeSantis campaign, and ONLY DIRECTLY there. I would advise everyone to do the same. Republicans are just as shameful. I will support only America First people who actively defend the Constitution with actions like DeSantis has done. The time for flapping their gums on pointless lying dribble is over. We are awake now.

Expand full comment

I get it. Donating to political parties is not so rewarding anymore. To me, the $12 gimmick is more of a "microphone" than a political contribution.

Expand full comment

Not multiplied by 40k = $480k. When done through WinRed, the Vichy "Republican" party gets over 4% & DeSantis only gets $460k. He gets 100% of a check to the address on the form: Ron DeSantis for Governor, 301 W. Platt St #345, Tampa, FL 33606.

I wonder if part of the point is to show our state R party the power that we the people have?

Expand full comment

Agreed. Must grin and beat it. I gave Mitt Romney 500 dollars for his run for presidency. I can still feel the disappointment In denying myself the 500 bucks to give to a RINO like Mitt. Can I sue to get my 500 back? He is a lying liar.

You mean Pierre Delecto? Please respect his preferences. LOL

Expand full comment

I hate everything he stands for. Should have known anyone from a investment firm Bain Capitol would no good. Only driven by his own greed and self adoration. He had the opportunity to kill Obama in that debate regarding Benghazi and the instantaneous protest narrative and he choked. Mitt did that on purpose.

I feel you but I think DeSantis as part of party has to give a % to R. I don’t think way around it just have to grin and bare it.

No worries! Many more opportunities in the future. I stopped using WinRed long ago before I knew Romney ran it. Stopped using cards when Chase came out of the woke closet (and transferred nearly all my balance to another bank). Now I make all my donations by Chase bill pay so they have to see me donating to conservatives and they make no money on it. LOL

Another plus about sending a check, you don't have to provide your email address and get spammed, which you most assuredly will with WinRed or any other online donation.

Most banks will mail a check for you at no cost. They even pay postage, which I love making woke Chase do. Often referred to as billpay, but I'm sure banks have different names for it. Look under "pay bills" etc.

Expand full comment

Don't split hairs over $12. Just send it. The idea is to get politicians' attention with a burst of donations directly traceable to this movement, even if a few pennies are spent "imperfectly". So the $ should all go to the same place, on the same day.

Expand full comment

No thanks. A 48 cents is "a few cents"? 4% of $12 x 40,000 donors = $480,000 = ~$20,000 going to Mitt Romney's niece to be distributed to RINOs.

Anyhow, isn't it really HER business?

I won't give ONE penny to the Vichy "Republican" party voluntarily.

Expand full comment

This is not a happy time. We're all going to get some soil on our white robes. Let's make an impact for Jeff. Concentrated bursts of money traceable to C&C people.

Expand full comment

Go for it. Jeff's terrific but I'm not doing this for Jeff. I will NEVER voluntarily donate to the "Republican" party as long as it's controlled by traitors, for the same reason I don't watch NFL, buy from Amazon etc.

It's MY money, Amigo. You want to double down on YOUR donation to make up for MY money arriving a week later, be my guest.

Expand full comment

I did double my donation, nearly (it had to end with a 2).

Perfect example of why conservatives have been ineffective as a force for change. We get offended at all the dirty work and ugly politicians and fracture into a million grouchy yet ineffectual fragments.

Remember that some of that 4% goes to some real R's and not just to milquetoast rinos.

Remember also that you don't go to war (figuratively speaking, of course!) with the army (just a metaphor!!) you wish you had, but rather with the army that you actually have.

This is not the time to be maximizin' the mileage in the Prius. Let's rev the throttle on the Harley and roar into town.

Expand full comment

Pass. Nice try. Perfect example of why RINOs run the "R" party, because some folks can't be bothered to take one more minute to avoid donating to them. Same reason Bezos is the second richest communist on earth, because of all the "conservatives" too lazy to look somewhere else, use another service besides Prime, etc.

I've donated $5k this last year to righteous conservatives. Some of us have our lines we won't cross for OUR money, and you're crossing mine. I've been around the block, run successful national grassroots campaigns and I know what's up with the "R"NC. Save it for those who don't know any better. Don't like it? Too bad.

Amen!! Well said.

If you want all the money going to DeSantis, mail or billpay a check to “Ron DeSantis for Governor”, don't use a card. Companies/banks take several percent, and many of those banks are vax nazis. If you do it through WinRed, Ronna Romney's Vichy "Republican" Party gets a slice.

Mr. Childers – the work you and team do is genuinely appreciated and well received; thank you!! I donated and am self-shamed for not doing so before today.

Your words today are powerful! It is beyond important, but with urgency to support the first of what I hope are the other Governors to get up off their talking bottoms for Liberty’s last stand.

Mr. DeSantis gets it….. this is not de minimis price or sacrifice – his demonstrable conviction and strength is an equivalent stand I too would gladly take at the Alamo, I too would take crossing the Delaware…. I’m metaphorically standing on the same hill and hopeful others who are not, will soon stand too.

Thank you again for you and teams work in this space.

Apology if this ends up a duplicate; wrote a comment and hit submit but have not seen it here, will do it again. Anyway, suggest we encourage others across the nation to use the "2" to support candidates at all levels, in any state, who are actively, and visibly, demonstrating that they Stand Up for the constitution of the U.S.A. and the inalienable individual rights thereof. I am in Ohio, and after reading today's letter and comments, I am sending a check via the mail (thank you Russ). to support Gov DeSantis in the amount of $12.22. And then, I'm going to look up Dr. Garrett Soldano in Michigan. And if he is 'that guy', (trusting, but verifying), will send a $12.22 check to his campaign, also. So. No matter which account I use, which candidate I want to support, or how much I send, I'm gonna make an amount that ends in "2". Whether it's $2.00, $12.00 etc, suggesting we use this as a way to make some noise and create some strength in numbers, please.

Just donated from Michigan. When you come to help the other states, please consider Michigan. We have a grassroots effort to get Dr. Garrett Soldano elected the next governor. He is running on the GOP ticket but it is grassroots as the MiGOP is backing former Detroit police chief, Daniel Craig, a democrat in a former reincarnation, suddenly a Republican. Dr. Soldano has been in the Covid fight since April of 2020 when he formed a FB page, Michiganders Against Excessive Quarantine which gathered over 400,000 followers in a week’s time. FB shut it down, and it was reincarnated again and again. Stand Up Michigan was formed from that original group. SUM is fighting the mandates, lockdowns and Covid fears on several fronts. Dr Soldano has disengaged himself from the group to run a campaign on his own, but he is still supported by SUM. Stand Up Michigan was responsible for gathering over 540,000 signatures on a petition drive to abolish a 1945 Michigan law, our tyrant governor was using to extend lockdowns and over 170 EO’s issued in a 6 mo. period. We have a tepid and good old boy GOP led House and Senate who put up bi partisan legislation that the governor immediately vetoes. The only legislation passed is one with monies she wants. She line items those into ways she wants to spend. So, please consider Michigan as a place to help out.
