My husband is losing his Disney job soon..our house has had covid twice in 20 months..we are not getting the jab..he is not wearing a mask..he should wear a mask at Disney now because he is unvaxxed..but he has antibodies which seem to last a good while longer than the vax..we will be holding out till they drag us into the streets before getting vaxxed..I did not move to the USA to live with this crap..and will fight it to the end ..
With you I have exemption am tested once a week but work from home. We are supposed to return hybrid schedule but if I have to wear mask all day then working from home only going in a half day every other week when testing is done. I will try to avoid returning. I don’t have to wear mask at home and until the pandemic is over I will be a rare sight in the office. Starting not to like people liberal people those can’t bare to come in contact with.
I'm fairly new to your awesome blog, so you may have covered the Comirnaty issue already. If not, the gist is that Pfizer's Comirnaty is the only shot that is actually approved at this point. It is different than the one they are passing off as approved... so people assume they "have" to get jabbed. Comirnaty is not available and will not be available until 2023. Just another mandate that's a pile of crap, but people aren't questioning it.
I was forced to sign away my rights and report my status, but I followed Jeff’s advice. I have documented everything. I spoke to HR who told me I would have immediate disciplinary action if I did not report my status, but no plans to impact workers that weren’t jabbed. I put the whole coercive conversation in writing and sent it back to HR, said I signed under duress and the only health information I give them is my vax status for their use only until 12/31/21 and told them to let me know if any part of the conversation is wrong. I have not heard anything back yet, but I’m sure the email is circulating with the higher ups in HR and Legal. I also have a medical exemption for anxiety for which they told me i could not get any accommodations from the harassment. This whole thing is pure insanity.

These OSHA regs are just nonsense. I like how the Brandon Admin got all quiet about the boosters for now. People aren't in the streets protesting because they think these rules don't apply to them, "Well, I got the shot!" THE shot. They think they're done. When the CDC changes their definition of fully vaxxed to "all the required boosters" as well, people might change their minds.
Yep. And what I read said that the JNJ shot is down to 3% effectiveness after like 6 months -- so, worthless. So, there is, at this point, ZERO difference between the never vaxxed and the "expired" vaxxed in terms f actually stopping a disease. So why are they doing the mandates? Booster mandates must be coming, right? And then, OSHA regulates our private health choices forever, for the greater good, right? For example, the population could be put on anti-depressants, and anti-anxiety pills to reduce violence...
And goes back to what exactly is the agenda behind forcing substances into our bodies against our will? Let alone the fact that there is no real effective protection against anything. Only leave a person willing to use common sense to say, why would I inject this at all? WHAT IS IN IT that they want it inside our bodies against our will, so badly.
Curious how this plays out for an employer such as my husbands. Nationwide company. Headquarters in Texas. Every branch has no more than 20 employees in it. If DeSantis is successful and gives the middle finger to osha and exits its demonic stronghold, then creates Florida’s own state program, how does that work for my husbands company? If corporate is subject to it, but the branch is located in Florida and Florida kicks osha out of Florida, will my husbands branch be subject to the demonic strongholds of an organization that has no more authority in Florida?
I’m sick to my stomach this morning. Will America ever stop complying with tyranny? Maybe in January when we no longer are an employable people. Maybe then?
Against all odds, my husband was just granted his religious exemption this week. We were absolutely sure he was going to be fired, but they granted it. There's hope. We'll pray for your husband.
I believe my husband could get an exemption. However, he will not wear a muzzle or require his employees (he’s the branch manager) to wear muzzles, nor will he submit to paying for a “test” or take this “test” he does not want or need. Bottom line. He/we will not comply with tyranny on any level. We have never muzzled up nor tested from the beginning. In fact we moved from Oregon to Florida to escape tyranny a year ago. My husband is the sole provider for our family. I have to stay home to care for our adult disabled daughter, which provides extra hardship in the sense I cannot get a job outside the home. In fact, if this helps you see our resolve - we fought with a lawyer in court against medical tyranny regarding our daughter, against the state of Oregon 10 years ago and against all odds, we won! We are not afraid to fight. God gave us victory against Goliath. We’ve experienced it firsthand. With no money in our pockets and knowing not one lawyer ahead of time.
So you see, we are all in. We have a lot to lose. We have no buffer. We will trust God until He comes back or we go home. And we expect it to get ugly. Tyranny is always ugly.
We just moved from Oregon to Kentucky about 5 months ago! I've been an Oregonian my whole life but it's no place to raise my young children and the government there is awful. We moved here and I was able to throw away my kids' masks because they never need them!! :-)

Fellow Oregonian of 40 years!! We lived about 25 miles south of Portland. All our family and friends still live there. They are so depressed and oppressed sometimes I feel guilty showing pictures of us out enjoying the sun and living life here in Florida. We thank The Lord He provided us a way out. But freedom is fragile. We know the weight of tyranny going on over on the West Coast. And it is so shameful.
We also have very close family friends that left Oregon in Feb and June and moved to Kentucky!! They are loving being there. What part of Oregon were you from?
Man, I'm starting to think we may have known each other, LOL. We were about 40 miles south of Portland, in Mt. Angel. We had moved there from the Portland area. And Mt. Angel was an AMAZING Christian community, and we had just salt of the earth friends there, but it was still....in Oregon. So recently we moved, along with my husband's extended family, so yes there were quite a few of us who made the exodus east from Oregon. We feel the same way you do when we talk to friends who are still there who want to leave but can't yet for whatever reason.
