I love the bounty on Shut Down DC leaders. I hope it costs you a bundle! We may have to multiply you if it works. Lots of other worthy targets out there.

Martha's avatar

In the meantime, anyone on Twitter should be flooding ShutdownDC with tips! This was a suggestion from someone on Twitter promoted by Tucker Carlson.

Linda Studer's avatar

We'll do a C&C multiplier!

Al Juarez's avatar

Seriously. I think a C&C Multiplier-like effort is needed to identify the leaders of Shut Down DC. Like Sean Connery said to Elliott Ness in “The Untouchables” movie. “They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of your guys to the hospital, you send 2 of his to the morgue”.

Make a full-on C&C Army effort to identify these people in public and give them 3x of their own medicine.

“At this point, Dems are hoping for an October surprise to save them”

What do you bet the “October Surprise” has something to do with a “pandemic” and the need to subvert in-person voting?

Willing Spirit's avatar

They’re testing out that Ninja scare. That explains why I noticed an uptick in mask wearing on my outing this week. I wanted to ask someone what they were hearing from the media, but I’m old enough to have learned to avoid unstable people.

Maybe they should try naming a variant ‘Ted Bundy’ or ‘Charles Manson’.🤷‍♀️

KatLee's avatar

Is it kinda twisted that I like that idea? A lot??? 😹😹😹

SadieJay's avatar

Ah, so I am not the only one who noticed the uptick in seeing masked people. I was wondering what was up...what did they hear that I didn't. I know...they are afraid. But there are people around here who are super sick..AGAIN. The Hunger Games. Bah!!

Maybe that's why they turned on Hadron Collider to see if they can fetch something from the outer space since there is nothing remarkable happening here on earth? ))

It will be US boots on ground in Ukraine and ‘we must support the troops’ and therefore come together in time of war.

I was going to say the exact same thing. October surprise = voting lockdowns = election cheating

And I unfortunately noticed more masks this week out shopping, too. Sigh.

The worse thing from all of the last 2 years to me is the compliance and utter lack of critical thinking from so many of our American brothers and sisters. Just mind baffling to me.😵‍💫

Donna in MO's avatar

YES! I try not to ruminate on that too much as it makes me lose hope. I am hoping deep down there is still an independent streak that will break through the fear porn-addled brains of too many people. Fear stifles critical thinking, which is why they keep the fear porn machine 'turned up to 11'.

IR's avatar

you are so right! they keep it up but hopefully people will become desensitized to it over time and look around.

IR's avatar

I always tell people, turn off the tv and stop reading "news" and there is no covid. It only lives in the tv and in the minds of people otherwise the symptoms are the same as for any upper respiratoty infection. We don't know what happened in the hospitals, I read the news article that said person's oxygen was low but he looked fine, if they go by this parameter and protocol of low oxygen than they would put them on ventilator that they don't need. I think they improved how they deal with it now but the first wave, their deadly protocol killed people I believe. People with weak immune systems can even have severe colds and some people die. I also like this link that someone posted earlier. Page 38, maybe show it to people? The whole thing is based on presumption.

https://www.fda.gov/media/134922/download

• "Detection of viral RNA may not indicate the presence of infectious virus or that 2019-nCoV is the

causative agent for clinical symptoms." ( it can only be infectious before certain threshold, about 24 cycles)

• This test cannot rule out diseases caused by other bacterial or viral pathogens."

Donna in MO's avatar

Oh I have a vast collection of 'truth nuggets' (I'm a self employed business researcher who had all my projects cancel or postpone in the spring of 2020 - so had a lot of time on my hands for a few months) I dug into the origin of the virus, the FDA hearing transcripts, the sketchy CDC data, the shortcomings of the test, etc. Although thanks for your link, that one is new to me. Spent the better part of 2020 trying to talk friends and family out of the fear. Worked for a few, but mostly, just gave up and have made new friends. We organized to defeat the mandates in our county, elect new school board members, and now working on county and state races. Agree, TV is a waste of time, fighting back is where the action is now.

I wish I could talk to my brother about covid, but he has gone insane. He told me that my wife and I belong in a camp due to being unvaxxed. Then he skipped Thanksgiving and Xmas. TPB love this, tearing families apart.

Politico Phil's avatar

A brother no less! Saddening but I know of numerous examples just like this. Dr. Malone has done a real service by describing this as mass formation psychosis is such a way as to make it intellectually accessible for nearly anyone. You can find his writings on substack and they should be disseminated as widely as possible.

IR's avatar

I'm sorry to hear that, it's so sad but I assume it's vaxx people who hadn't gotten covid themselves yet that say that. If they themselves has gotten it after the v and still think that way then I'm afraid the serious intervention is needed and to work on developing critical thinking skills. It's so mind boggling. It's still the fear I'm afraid.

It’s not the ‘bug’ that tore families apart. More like a diabolical plan from WEF and others to destroy society to ‘build back better.’ And the majority of people were foolish enough to fall for it.

It’s the freakin flu … noticed the flu just disappeared In 2020. The flu can be horrible . Corona is part of the sars virus they say. The only deadly virus is the “ propaganda virus”. The evil we are experiencing is horrific. But I think when we and our GOD destroy it and we all get rid and come free of Babylon, we will have a 1000 years of peace. I don’t believe what the church says, btw.

WrittenintheStars's avatar

It’s the flu. The flu can be very bad. Note the flu just disappeared In 2020. Never even heard anything we usually hear, which is : “ get your flu vaccine”🙄. The only virus is the “ propaganda virus”. We all know it… just wish our friends and family did. Why they don’t listen to us, is itself a deadly virus .

CaliforniaLost's avatar

I'd wear a mask too, to hide my face in shame, if I had gotten 4 shots and still caught covid.

CMCM's avatar

I've noticed a few masks, but actually very few. And I'm in Commiefornia!

Cynthia's avatar

Had lunch with a friend yesterday who told me she absolutely believes wearing a mask protects her from the virus. I brought up studies showing they don't work and she just repeated that she thinks it helps. Truth means ABSOLUTELY nothing when people want to believe something...

SB's avatar

Yes, I have several friends like that. Think "what's the big deal" and "it won't hurt, might help." You'll never convince them otherwise. And one of them just took her first plane trip since 2020 and has at least the 2 shots and a booster and wore her mask in the airport and on the plane and says she thinks she caught the vid on the way home in the airport/plane. But, I guarantee she's still wearing that mask...

Yes, agreed. I just keep hoping most of our citizens are waking up to “their” fear Mongering BS, but I don’t know… as my ex and my 24 year old daughter both double vaxxed and boosted. Greetings from Canada. I am one of the fortunate ones to have internet today. Friends and neighbours couldn’t buy their Tim Horton’s coffee yesterday because the Interac was down. They had to use…what’s it called? Cash! Others had to stand outside Starbucks to poach free internet to check their Tic Toc accounts. Madness! ATMs weren’t working and several banks were paralyzed. 1800 numbers didn’t work. Stores couldn’t sell goods because cashless payment systems (aka debit) were offline. Toronto police reported that 911 wasn’t working. You’re on your own, Toronto. Thanks to the CRTC (government interference), we really only have 3 wireless providers: Rogers, Bell and Telus. Rogers has 10 million subscribers out of 37 million in population. And they all lost service yesterday! Plus point of sale machines, and e-transfers. It probably was CERN. Or Putin. But the lesson of the day is: #AlwaysCarryCash #ThisIsJustATest

CPK (Charles Kalina)'s avatar

Not to nitpick, but... CERN is not consuming anything close to 13.6 trillion volts.

(1) Volts aren't a measure of energy consumption in the first place. The usual analogy is that voltage is like water pressure in a pipe. It tells you how much resistance the flow can push past. It doesn't tell you how much is being pushed.

(2) The electron-Volt (eV) is the energy needed to push one electron to one volt. Electrons are TINY. One trillion eV is about the energy used by a mosquito in flight. CERN generating 13.6 flying mosquitos worth of energy is huge in particle-physics terms, but trivial in everyday terms.

CERN says it consumes about 1.3 terrawatt-hours of electricity per year, enough for a small town, which is something but not crazy-high considering what it does.

Dr Linda's avatar

Thanks for the reality check

CPK (Charles Kalina)'s avatar

Granted: "one TRILLION electron-volts" is fun to say in a Doctor-Evil voice. :-)

Really, the only reason I know this is because it's a flub in my favorite classic science fiction movie, "Forbidden Planet". The characters are amazed that the alien survived a blast of three billion electron volts (3 GeV), which sounds big and sciencey... except that it's equivalent to gentry dropping a mote of dust onto the creature.

Kim's avatar

You beat me to it. Let’s also not forget that scientists from CERN and MIT created ProtonMail. Painting with too broad a brush never works

Trudy's avatar

Interesting, can you tell me where I find this data concerning CERN, thanks….

Chris's avatar

https://www.google.com/search?q=13.6+trillion+eV+in+kWh

For context, 13.6 trillion electron volts represents $0.0000000000000434 worth of electricity from my local utility.

The confusion here is that one eV isn't a measure of power consumed, but rather the kinetic energy change of a very tiny particle through a very minor electrical field. 13.6T eV is, in simple terms, a measure of the speed to which they're accelerating each of these particles, not the amount of power necessary to do so over any specific length of time.

Law school attracts the kids who are smart but bad at math, and cultivates and rewards the ability to speak authoritatively without necessarily having a lot of substantive knowledge about a subject. Lord knows those are the things that drew me to it.

That said: C&C is a daily review and comment on the news, not a motion or argument in court. In real life, one would check this stuff, and maybe have an expert witness explain it for the jury.

Words Beyond Me-Janice Powell's avatar

Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life;

Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me.

Let them be like chaff before the wind,

With the angel of the Lord driving them on.

Let their way be dark and slippery,

With the angel of the Lord pursuing them.

For without cause they hid their net for me;

Without cause they dug a pit for my soul.

Let destruction come upon him unawares,

And let the net which he hid catch himself;

Into that very destruction let him fall.

Maybe the C&C Army can bombard Twitter with reports that Shut Down DC is inciting violence. If enough people report the radical extremists, maybe Twitter will SHUT DOWN 'Shut Down DC'. It's easy. Just go to Shut Down DC's Twitter account, find a post that is inciting violence, (which is easy -- there are several), click the 3 dots at the far right top of the post, and then choose 'Report' from the drop down menu. You will have the opportunity to report up to 5 posts. It would be great if the C&C Army could get them SHUT DOWN!!

CaliforniaLost's avatar

If you are vaxxed BA5, aka Ninja, is of great concern and I certainly wouldn’t yawn at it. One just needs to look at Portugal to see skyrocketing hospitalizations and deaths in the vaxxed from this variant. The disease has mutated to infect deeper into the lungs of the vaxxed. This is no longer an upper respiratory infection. According to Walgreens COVID Index BA5 makes up about 18% of US infections...this has been rising by the week.

Politico Phil's avatar

Yeah, any "variant" is of great concern to the jabbed...as is ANY infection such as the common cold or cancer. As Dr. Yeadon, former VP and Chief Science Officer for Pfizer, explained from the beginning, this is what happens when you marginalize the immune system with the jab. As you noted, it is only in the vaxxed that the "virus" appears to have become more deadly. It's not the "mutation" of the virus that is more deadly. What we are witnessing is the destruction of the vaxxed immune system which makes the vaxxed more susceptible to ANY infection and death! It is of nearly no concern to the "pure bloods" whose immune systems are just fine thank you. But to be clear, for 2 years every case of the sniffles or a cold or the flu or whatever was diagnosed as Covid. They will invent their "variants" anytime they want or anytime there is an uptick in the flu season etc. It's all fear mongering to push the bio-weapon shot. Also to be clear, as Dr. David Martin has explained for some time now, there is no coronavirus. There is no virus from nature, from the wild, that is causing covid disease. As Dr. Martin has documented, the so-called virus is a laboratory created infectious, replication defective, chimeric simulation of a coronavirus. I.E., a bio-weapon.

Our son recently suggested that perhaps Willy Wonka strategically planned each challenge for the kids based on what he'd learned of each child from their TV interviews upon finding their golden tickets - Wonka realized that Charlie was the one best suited to win the competition, and he designed the various scenarios to the test the strength of character for each child. For a child of our son's age, I thought that was rather an interesting idea.
