Trudeau could have solved his problem early on by meeting with the truckers in a neutral setting and starting off the meeting by telling them two things. First, the truckers are heroes for keeping the economy moving during the pandemic. Second, in a democracy, people are not required to agree on everything but they are required to listen to to others and try to find common ground. Then let the truckers have their say. Then pledge to start the process of winding down the mandates that were set to be wound down in any case. Crisis over.

He did say they will have 3000 clinical staff ready to attack the virus wherever an oubreak is found within CA. Sounds like people knocking at your home door and jabbing by force.
