Fauci wants vaccine passports at Christmas dinner; the Senate tries to end Biden's Mandates; the WaPo is having a bloody year; all-cause mortality is up — a lot — in the US; and more...
Happy Thursday! In today’s C&C roundup: Fauci encourages Americans to put their relatives on trial and hints darkly at consequences for failing to comply; he admits that the “fully vaccinated” aren’t going to stay that way for long; the Senate votes to end the Biden Mandates; Google reveals a bloodbath at the Washington Post; all-cause mortality in seniors in the U.S. is up, a lot; the State of Washington reports more cases and deaths after the injections than before; a correction; I pen a jeremiad against public health experts; LinkedIn ranks the biggest population-growth cities for 2021 and you’ll never guess who won; and an Omicron report from South Africa.
🗞*COVID NEWS AND COMMENTARY* 🗞
🪳 Ha! Mussolini didn’t hold a candle to the Great Faucist, who wants you to enforce personal vaccine passports during Christmas dinner. You can have some Christmas roast beef and these presents, but first you have to produce a verifiable vaccine card. In an MSNBC interview yesterday, he said:
FAUCI: “I mean, … let’s take the holiday setting. You’re with your family, you have grandparents and parents and children. When you get vaccinated and you have a vaccinated group and you’re in an indoor setting, you can enjoy, as we have traditionally over the years, dinners and gatherings within the home with people who are vaccinated. That’s the reason why people should, if they invite people over their home, essentially ask and maybe require that people show evidence that they are vaccinated.”
Then Fauci admitted that he is, in fact, a Faucist, and individual rights are a silly anachronism:
FAUCI: “I would prefer, and we all would prefer that people would be voluntarily getting vaccinated, but if they’re not gonna do that, sometimes you’ve got to do things that are unpopular, but that clearly supersede individual choices…”
We’re SO sorry about this, but sometimes you just have to lay down the law and start rounding people up if they won’t get in line for their booster shot. You know, “supersede” them.
Hahaha! Fauci’s mental condition is clearly going downhill fast. “Require that people show EVIDENCE they are vaccinated?” He wants to turn Christmas dinner into a Faucist vaccine show-trial. We’ve already seen that he has delusions of grandeur (“attacking me is attacking science”), but now it seems like he thinks he’s some kind of mega-powerful movie mastermind, like Khan from Star Trek or Thanos in the Avengers movie franchise.
Fauci is out of his mind. He’s no mastermind. He’s more like a deranged Mr. Magoo who’s into puppy-torturing. He’s not in charge of anything and nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is. He can barely form a legible sentence.
And, things didn’t turn out too well at the end of the movie for either Khan or Thanos. So.
🪳 In an interview with Kate Bolduan on CNN, also yesterday, Fauci finally dropped the mask over boosters and the amorphous definition of “fully vaccinated:”
BOLDUAN: “This discussion has been going on for a bit. And I was just kind of — with this data coming in this morning, I’m kind of stuck with, is it a matter now of when — not if — the definition of fully vaccinated changes?”
FAUCI: “You know, my own personal opinion, Kate, is what you said is correct. It’s going to be a matter of when, not if.”
BOLDUAN: “Does timing of that matter?”
FAUCI: “Well, timing of that matters, Kate, with regard to the lawsuits that are now about OSHA and whether or not a fully vaccinated person that — that — as you know, that — that — that point that was made by the president that private businesses with 100 or more people either should be fully vaccinated or get tested regularly, that federal workers, as you know, are required to be vaccinated, certain people who come under the Medicare/Medicaid. It has implications for that, and that’s the reason why it matters.”
Beyond being yet another example of how this degenerate fossil is trying to “Fauci” us all, and is finally admitting that boosters are going to be part of the Biden Mandates, this is even more super interesting. Fauci’s clearly paying attention to the Mandate litigation. And he just let slip that something about the TIMING of changing the definition of “fully vaccinated” relates to the lawsuits.
What could he be talking about? How are those two things related to each other? The only explanation that makes sense to me is that Biden and Fauci don’t want to change the definition before the courts lift the stays of the Mandates. Because if they do, then all the workers who are now “fully vaccinated” will “abruptly” become threats to their co-workers, and have to get the shots again, creating a huge burden for employers and giant backlash. It’ll be back to square one.
And also, people who got exemptions won’t have to get the boosters, which will probably — understandably — make the employees who got the original shots hopping mad. It won’t seem fair.
So it’s not about science or safety, at all. It’s about what they can get away with. That’s it. They don’t think they can get away with changing the definition of “fully vaccinated” until AFTER the employees who already got jabbed think they’re safe on the other side of the Mandates. THEN they can force the boosters on everyone.
In other words, Fauci needs to litigate the mandate to mitigate his slave state. Or something. You know what I mean.
💉 The U.S. Senate voted 52-48 yesterday to repeal the Biden OSHA Mandate. The senators used the “Congressional Review Act,” which allows Congress to review presidential executive orders. Media reporting on the story pointed out that, even if the measure passes the Democrat-controlled House, Joe Biden will inevitably veto it. Probably. But the vote sends a clear message to the entire country: the Legislature does not agree with Biden’s unilateral executive action.
In other words, judges around the country can see that this mandate couldn’t pass Congress. Mandates are not the “will of the people.” Great job, Senate! We’ve seen this kind of courage in various state legislatures, notably in Florida, but not so far at the federal level. This is the first, and hopefully a sign of the beginning of the end.
Last week, during a budget showdown over vaccine mandates, a Senate bill to defund the Mandates narrowly failed to pass (48-50). It appears that Senate resistance to the Mandates is picking up steam. I might also add that some Republicans in the House made a fairly heroic but ultimately unsuccessful effort last week to shut down the federal government by jamming up the budget, over the Mandates.
Under a compromise worked out between the two political parties, the federal government extended the previous Trump-era budget until February. Given the Senate’s vote yesterday, though, it doesn’t look like the fight over Mandates is going away anytime soon.
Yesterday’s successful Senate vote also makes me hopeful that the senators will reject the bill to create a CDC-led national vaccine database.
🔥 It’s been a risky year to be a Washington Post reporter. Continuing our reporting on developments over at The Washington Post, at least four of its reporters have died unexpectedly this year, according to the Google:
— Dec. 8: Claudia Levy, WaPo journalist, “complications from surgery”
— Nov. 24: Fred Hiatt, pro-mandate WaPo editorial board member, heart attack
— Nov. 11: Ron Shaffer, WaPo journalist, congestive heart failure
— May. 17: David Larimer, WaPo sports editor, 47, died while sleeping, undisclosed causes.
Googling brings up other WaPo staff obituaries in prior years but nothing like the bloodbath of 2021. So.
🔥 According to USMortality.com, all-cause mortality — the best measure of injection efficacy — is up an astounding +71% in seniors (age 65+) in the United States. Notably, seniors have an injection rate of 99.1% (at least one dose).
I wish we had some kind of giant federal public health agency that could look into troubling statistics like this one. Wouldn’t that be great? We could call it the Board for Disease Control or something. Oh well. It’s too bad we don’t have one.
🔥 The State of Washington’s Covid Dashboard reports that, during the uninjected wave between September 16, 2020 and February 15, 2021, there were about 200,000 cases and 2,600 deaths reported. But during the most recent post-injection period between June 26 and November 5, 2021, there were 240,000 cases and 3,200 deaths.
Safe and effective!
Critics will make excuses like the time periods aren’t comparable because of reporting lags or something. Who knows. The point is, this data isn’t any kind of advertisement FOR the injections, is it?
🔥 CORRECTION: Yesterday I referred to the stayed mandates as the “Big Three” Mandates because together they account for the largest group of affected folks. I want to be clear that my comments in no way underestimated the psychotic evil that is being perpetrated on our military service members, for whom not one single religious exemption has been granted under the Military Mandate. Nor did I mean to exclude federal workers, who are suffering as much as anybody under Biden’s executive order.
The Military Mandate and the Federal Worker Mandate are the remaining two unstayed Mandates, and we still need to stop both of them.
🔥 At least twelve (12) major U.S. cities have broken annual homicide records in 2021 -- even with three weeks left to go. An ABC article reporting on the story quoted Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney: “It’s terrible to every morning get up and have to go look at the numbers and then look at the news and see the stories. It’s just crazy. It’s just crazy and this needs to stop.”
Captain Frank Umbrino of the Rochester Police Department said at a press conference that “we’re extremely frustrated. It has to stop. I mean, it’s worse than a war zone around here lately.”
This is really terrible. Personal safety is the essence of civilization itself. We need to do something! Let’s check with the experts! According the ABC, the experts are … BAFFLED AGAIN: “Experts say there are a number of reasons possibly connected to the jump in homicides … but that there is no clear answer across the board.”
Thanks experts!
Sometimes I think the real story of 2020-2021 won’t be the Covid pandemic, government overreach, or insane politics. I think the real story will be that listening to “experts” brought us to the brink of civilizational collapse. In other words, so-called expertise is about to kill us all.
Now. There are a lot of possibilities for the record murder rates. BLM, George Floyd, riots, defunding efforts, et cetera. I get it. But all those things have happened before. So I want you to consider another option. How about the one thing that has NEVER happened before … Mandates?
Is there any reason to think that cops are less likely to quit over mandates than nurses? I blame experts. Not only have these delicate geniuses and their mandates put our healthcare system in jeopardy, but they’ve also gutted our police departments. The ABC article notes that 18% of police officers have resigned throughout 2021, and the retirement rate jumped 45% in 2021 over 2020’s figures. It also says that law enforcement agencies are only able to fill 93% of available openings.
Public health experts are the REAL public menace. They are literally bungling their way toward collapsing civilization. I mean, who ARE these people, really? We don’t need to defund the police! We need to defund public health officials. They are getting paid WAY too much to create these kinds of results.
I would rather take my chances with Omicron without the sage advice of these moronic and germaphobic scientists than take a chance of getting jacked on the way back to my car after dinner out downtown someplace.
🔥 The first day of the Omicron wave in low-injection-rate South Africa was November 23. According to reports, the new variant is “already” the dominant strain, featured in 75% of cases. If it were more virulent, we would have already started to see an increase in deaths. But we haven’t. Deaths are still falling in South Africa. Omicron is mostly producing mild symptoms.
So. Ban travel! We can’t have a mild, innocuous virus spreading around!
🔥 LinkedIn analyzed recent changes to people’s reported city of residence, and discovered that four of the five top metro areas with the biggest increases in population in 2021 are in … FLORIDA. These fastest-growing cities include Miami (+16.8%), Jacksonville (+14.3%), Tampa (+9.5%), and Orlando (+8.8%). That’s pretty much all our largest metro areas right there.
Covid refugees.
The data from LinkedIn also says that the top three cities for new company formation are now in Florida, with Orlando edging out Miami by 1%.
Now, I know that there are mixed blessings related to all this growth. But the point is, growth is a sign of a healthy economic and political climate. A shrinking population is a red flag for trouble. More people means more US representatives and a bigger tax base and more talent and productivity. Fewer people is the reverse opposite of that.
Have a tremendous Thursday, and get yourself back here tomorrow for more.

It's sad that the lawsuits for all affected over the mandates have taken so long and the damage has already been done. I pray for the Military and hope this gets settled soon. I am one that has now lost my job due to the mandate. United Healthcare has instituted a COVID policy of which most staff are required to get the jab, stating the shot is safe and effective. Man I hope this comes back to bite them in the you know what. I applied for a religious exemption and was denied because my "business unit" decided that no remote work would be given. They didn't want to set PRECEDENCE! Being let go, not for job performance but because of a shot. In my opinion, is dangerous, I can't believe that people just lined up to get it. Crazy world we live in.
I work for a large Govt Dept and we got an email yesterday about boosters: basically, "don't forget to get your boosters! It's the "best way out" of this problem ...."" (didn't explain HOW, but, whatever...) and crucially, the email said "We are not requiring proof of your boosters shots at this time." Yep. Boosters are coming. And three million Federal workers will become "unvaxxed" overnight. And how are they going to claim an exemption when they already got the first ones? It will be so much harder. (Sukkas!)
Do you know Vaccine Happy Vermont only has 45% overall booster uptake? And even 30% of people over 65 are apparently "not interested" in the boosters? If they add boosters to these idiotic mandates, they will only increase the numbers of the permanent "vaccine hesitant."
My Dept still has not told anyone (about 20,000 people) if we are getting our religious accommodations approved or not. Or even told us when it might happen. I have to spend Christmas wondering if I'll be fired or what. Such horrible cowards they are! But I'm fine to get fired; I've made peace with it and I'll be happy to find a "normal" job and tell everyone exactly what happened. And file a lawsuit of course.
